Limited vinyl reissue of two great early 80s rarities from Spring Records. Side A features Detroit boogie classic 'Wired For Games' by short-lived band C-Brand. Penned and produced by Dazz Band founder member Michael Colhoun with super-smooth vocals from Larry Ives, the track oozes quality in every note and understandably hit big both sides of the Atlantic on its release in 1981 and is still in massive demand today championed by cult DJs such as Sadar Bahar and Joey Negro. Side B heads more into disco territory with Paradise Garage classic 'Love Vibration' where Joe Simon's steamy deep voice rides atop an intense grinding disco stormer from legendary 'Philly Sound' producer Norman Harris. Superb double header of must-have tracks.

The unstoppable Spaziale Recordings set their sights on an absolute Paradise Garage classic from 1982 - the much sought after and instantly recognisable ‘Together Forever’ by Exodus. This fully licensed, remastered reissue comes housed in a full picture sleeve and contains a killer DEF Mix from Stefano Ritteri alongside the original extended vocal and dub versions.

Bursting with passion, ‘Together Forever’ is a record that was destined for greatness. A Larry Levan favourite, and for good reason. Produced by Errol Mattis and featuring one of the most sampled vocals in house music, there’s a triple threat of plucked basslines, clavinet power and joyful horns backed with the kind of percussion that ignites a rarely witnessed tribal energy within. It’s had crowds in fits of frenzies ever since its release and every collection deserves this gem nestled within it.

As well as the original extended vocal and dub versions, Stefano Ritteri steps up to add his own special touch, giving it some proto house power. He echoes and manipulates those fiery vocals, introducing each element gradually from the acid tinged topline to the layers of drum machine heat, gradually building the suspense to pure fever pitch.

Returning with another debut release, Second Circle's eighth record to date comes this time from young Viennese musician Giuseppe Leonardi. Performed on an array of synthesizers and experimenting with spoken word and vocals from various local singers; Giuseppe's 'TBC' EP take us on a dance through the catacombs and out through the jungle floor with ritualistic rhythm and haunting song... Whilst at other moments Giuseppe's horizontal ambient pieces leave us gazing out on the shores of a distant half-remembered planet.

Javi Frias is a DJ and producer from Madrid that has been playing soul, funk, disco, boogie & house since the mid nineties in clubs and festivals all over his country and Europe. Always looking for soulful records around the world to make people dance, his DJ sets are ever elegant, addictive and eclectic, full of energy and mostly on vinyl. In the last two years he has started to produce his own disco edits, respecting the sound of the original but adding some retouches to make them perfect for the dance floor.

Spring Theory alumni Keita Sano returns to deliver the latest EP on the San Francisco/Paris-based label. Titled Miles, it's an adventurous sample collage of a three-track EP that showcases the rising Japanese producer's knack for crafting unusual yet effective cuts for left field dancefloors.

The EP begins on a jazzy tip with the sample heavy drive of the titular "Miles." Deep and percolating, it features a jigsaw puzzle of piano riffs, vocal blips and symphonic murmurings that build into one neatly designed sonic sculpture. Never one to be satisfied with the ordinary, Sano breaks it all down with a trumpet-led interlude that evokes the muted coolness of the track's namesake.

"Blue" constructs a similarly jazz-indebted sonic tapestry. Its chugging, almost tribal drums provide a trance-inducing rhythmic base for a moody mix of saxophone wails and lush keyboard runs.

And while jazz may seem like an overarching theme, Sano finishes the record with a blur of digitally chopped ritual chanting on "Varna." Complete with jittering voices, droning gongs and weaving calls to prayer, it's the kind of weirdo psychedelic track that'd perfectly soundtrack the shift from a late-night to an early morning.

You may be thinking " uhhhh, another MJ record reworked " but this one is different for sure.Around 1978, Michael did a cover of Bob Marley's " I shot the sheriff " which not too many have heard. Kon goes to work on this one, chopping it up and adding s special touch to it..dont be surprised if you hear some very familiar guitar from one of Disco's most prolific genius' who is still on the scene today. On remix duties Kon brings on board a man who has been making waves as of late, Scott "That Man Monks" and he delivers. Monks takes things into a much more housey, trackier vibe reminiscent of a moodyman record we all love. The result is a hypnotic groove that should work well on the floor.
Lastly kon cooks up some proper warm, sunny, poolside beach vibes reworking a big MJ hit from the 80s, while also paying homage to Nas and Large Professors 90s classic "It aint hard to tell"

Lovebirds - Dove Sei - is a dancefloor killer with a touch of 80's italo vintage feel created during his odyssey last year collecting classic analog synthesizers like the highly regarded Arp 2600 and the Prophet 5. Since Adriano Celentano was not available he just skipped it in finding a replacement and recorded his own vox! That's how Dove Sei sounds!

Supafrico return with more wonderful lost gems from the Afro-funk vaults. First up we get the full 10 minute version of the awesome 'Disco Stomp' by The Star Beams, an incredibly groovy and infectious Afro disco monster taken from the über-rare 1976 'Disco Specials' EP on the tiny JRS Pride label. The flipside features the killer afro boogie sound of 'Galaxy', one of legendary Nigerian producer Jake Sollo's finest moments with phat pumping bass provided by Randy Taylor and great vocal performances from the Galaxy girls. Last up is the superb afro party jam 'The Disco Kid', an impossible to find rarity from 1975 recorded by Hugh Masekela under his onetime moniker 'The Disco Kid'. Don't sleep!

Following their acclaimed debut album ‘Visions Of Ultraflex’, the Norwegian-Icelandic electro-duo serves up a mouthwatering extended remix 12" with two of Norways most distinctivly renowned underground producers and DJs. Telephones twists ‘Work Out Tonight’ into a bubbly Balearic Pop block-party, fusing the vibe of NYC Peech Boys, Quincy Jones' 80s productions and Larry Levan's infamous take on Nami Shimada/Soichi Terada, all rounded off with a decadent beatless ambient acid outro mix. On the flip, the norse force that is DJ Sotofett, heavy-handedly rubs ‘Secret Lover’ into an uncompromising chunk of Cosmic Electro, with growling vocoders, rugged drums and stratospheric synths, progressively evolving into a tripped out dub-disco electro-mutant. Each side clocking in at approx. 12 minutes.. do not miss!
