Anna Lunoe & Friends 'Real Talk' EP is all Australian and all party! On 'Real Talk' Anna teamed up with mysterious Sydney producer Touch Sensitive - who you may remember brought you 'Body Stop' back in 2009 on Future Classic - for what could be THE perfect summer house anthem... pianos, uplifting pianos, vocal stabs, pianos. A tune that you could definitely see rubbing shoulders with classics like 'Strings of Life' and 'Gypsy Woman'. Next up is 'I Met You', Anna's collab with another Sydney producer that's been catching lots of attention from the likes of XLR8R, Electronic Beats and inthemix called Flume. Anna's beautiful vocal work gets Flume's catchy chopped and pitched treatment and is packed with more chunky bass than you've ever imagined. The final track on the EP is an essential DJ tool by one of Australia's earliest pioneers of house and techno DJ HMC. HMC takes all the power of the original 'I Met You' and brings up the pace and kick for some very delicious results. HMC has been making dance music in Adelaide since around '91 and is still rocking, in fact if you're from the new school you might know is other alias Late Nite Tuff Guy.. The Australian born Anna Lunoe has DJed with giants like The Chemical Brothers, Soulwax, Daft Punk and Salt n Pepper, ran cult club parties with her DJ crew Hoops, mixed compilations for Ministry of Sound, given music direction for everyone from Louis Vuiton to Hugo Boss and even nabbed a spot in Sydney magazine's 100 most influential people list. R.K. is the new musical collaboration of Ronnie Turner (Blunted Funk Project) and Kev Beadle (Solar Radio/Southport Weekender).
On this first release the boys have chosen two much loved classic tracks from back in the day and have respectfully extended and re-tweaked them for play to those that know the score.
First up Charles Earland's 1980 classic 'Coming To You Live' gets the R.K. treatment with an extended intro featuring killer brass,
percussion and bassline groove that builds and builds to the hooky vocal drop.
Next up the percussive and horn heavy, orchestrated string laden Salsoul Orchestra disco version of the Earth,
Wind & Fire classic 'Getaway' gets an overhaul extending the track by nearly 3 minutes from the original.
This one is all about the groove and if this doesn't get them going you're dj'ing in the wrong place !!

With a shuffle, a wink and a swing of the hips, Original Cuts returns to wax with a quartet of tried-and-tested dancefloor bumpers from label head honcho Deadly Sins.

As usual, Deadly Sins has provided us with a four-pack of hypnotic, filter-heavy disco cuts that slither their way across the dancefloor with all the sinewy charm of an eager python on heat. Taken inspiration from forgotten disco gems and simmering secret soul jams, Original Cuts 03 bumps, grinds, struts and jigs from start to finish.

Luke Solomon is a survivor. Starting out in the early '90s, he's still going strong, with a classic label, an enormous chart hit and plenty of memories behind him. He's connected to some of the most respected names in UK house—Justin Harris, Rob Mello, Kenny Hawkes. And the US too. Classic, the label he started with Derrick Carter, hardly needs an introduction: It was among the best underground house imprints of the late '90s and early '00s, and one of the most idiosyncratic, reflecting Solomon and Carter's wide-ranging tastes perfectly. Solomon, in particular, has always surprised, whether it be via his Freaks collaboration with Justin Harris or his solo work for Rekids.

Following on from the massively popular 'Philadelphia International: The Re-Edits' package, here is the 2nd release in our special 'Philly 40' campaign which is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Philadelphia International Records. Welcome to the hugely anticipated 'Philadelphia International Classics: The Tom Moulton Remixes'.

Tom Moulton's involvement with Philadelphia International spans the entire 40 years of their existence with many of his early mixes unaccredited in the era before the 12' Disco Disc. In 1977 PIR released the ground-breaking historic original double LP 'Philadelphia Classics' which featured 8 ofTom Moulton's greatest PIR mixes. The album has subsequently been reissued several times and is rightly hailed as a 'must have' classic for ANY serious music lovers' collection.

Secret Circuit, having been knighted by tastemaker Tim Sweeney by releasing their first 12 on his Beats in Space imprint, seriously run the voodoo down with this intense jam: jungle drums, spellbinding exotic chants once obstinately nesting in your head once you heard them, cheeping, bleeping and tweeting dub noises messing with your sense of orientation, gyrating guitar chords in a My bloody Valentine style and between all this wonderful sonic chaos a slightly latin-jazz tinged piano breaks its way. A beautiful maze of a track where you easily can get lost in for the rest of this summer. On the flip Portugal's Tiago accentuates the cosmic rock vibe throwing in an aggressive guitar riff that sounds very much like Chicago's 'I'm a man' and Prins Thomas chucks the looser jam-like first part of the original over board and bundles the psychedelic elements to a breathlessly, constantly intensifying pressure cooker.

Smith & Mudd are back in fne style on Claremont 56, followng
up their excellent LP with this great double header. 'Sauna Love'
is the lead track, an uptempo, string laden boogie house affair,
as ever the instrumentation and playing is of the highest quality
and the dance-ability is turned up. Great vibes, bass, strings and
punchy percussion all rolling along into the sunshine.
On side-B 'The Surveyor' is a great piece of otherworldly elec-
tronic music, coming on like some weird cough medicine induced
dream. The bass pulses along with mystery dialogue, light key
fourishes and an intent that is delivered about 5 minutes in when
the kick drops and the whole thing shifts into a latenight, alt disco
bomb. Ace stuff again.

"I Love Ego (Step Seventeen)" combines future Mainstream dancefloors classics such as Stereo Palma feat. Craig David hot collaboration "Our Love" and Diego Broggio & Castaman feat. With Eddie C's previous creation for Let's Get Lost barely out of the barrel of the the label's finely engineered hand cannon we are bombarded with two more selections from the Canadian turned Berliner's seemingly limitless arsenal of secret weapons.

Masterful re-arrangement as ever ever from the now seasoned producer. Side A yields wonderfully quirky balearic vibes while on the flip a horn and string led disco barn stormer reminiscent of a Rub-n-Tug unknown gem provides what is, for us at least, the highlight of the EP. Two very different tracks and a great package all round.

The response on the first EP of afro/latin house workouts from Jose Marquez was a big hit for Basic Fingers and sold out on the first run.
So, now we got a new Jose Marquez EP with two new amazing cuts.
Side A opens with the massive "La Mezcla" which also was sampled by Michel Cleis tech-house classic but here it comes in the shape of a deep latin percussive house workout.
Its all about the killer flute loop...check it!

Side B is a full on percussive house bomb using Tego Calederóns "Corillo De Los Trangalanga" as the foundation.
A near perfect club tool if u wanna take the latin route while you're spinning.

Ok, we know what you're problem thinking...not another Marvin edit!

But hold your thoughts, this is something extraordinary and one of the best arranged and produced (not edited) tracks we've ever put out on GAMM (no joke).
With extra added keys and various production elements this is a 10 min and 52 seconds long boogie monster that will take you on an emotional ride you'll never forget. Yes, its that hot!
But the flip isn't bad either with the Revivra crew going uptempo with a super rework or remix (your choice) of Crown Heights Affairs all-time ballroom classic.
Just like with the Marvin track they've turned the track inside out to an almost 10 min long disco cavalcade.

The weekend starts and ends with this fantastic EP.

J.M.F is a joint venture consisting of Dresden's Jacob Korn and Leipzig's
Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt with both of them throwing in their special
secret powers: the analog house feeling and the big bass drum from Jacob
and the great melodies and a certain fluffiness from Mikesh and Filburt.
Together they howled with the coyotes deep down in the notorious uncanny
valley and created two sparkling tracks 'Philip Dolphia' - check out the
'bossy' flute - and 'At The Ranch'. Lauer (from Artwo Mwambe and Tuff City
Kids fame, who just released his ace debut album on Running Back) took a
big sip of firewater for his remix and scalps 'At The Ranch' into a raw
romantic tearjerker, Elektro meets Rimini Style.

DJ PRIME strikes nicely with his takes on two uber classics. somewhere between re-edits and remixes on Universal Robot Band on Aside, and Marvin Gaye on the flip. great for the dancefloor as for home listening for sure.
