A1 is gooey 80's disco track featuring some recordings from a lost answering machine which gets less straightforward and more dubbed out atmospheric treatment from Lipelis on A2 with a nice touch of flute by no other then maestro Jimi Tenor !.

B1 goes to the totally different territory with a morning vibey breakbeat jam and it all rounds up with a 909 dubby slow jam on B2.

'Date With The Rain' sees Soft Rocks turn in an 11 minute 'One For The Lion King' manipulation of a joyous and uplifting jam that fuses traditional rhythms (think a humm-ba-ba) and vocals that are underpinned with a strong 4/4 kick.On the flip side,Roots Unit perform some major surgery with a 'Pump Up The Jam' reconstruction on 'Le Beat Is Technotronic'. Having bubbled up in the Polo House scene for the last couple years, 2017 finds Richu M stepping into the forefront for his debut outing 'Donor Goes To Hawaii'.
Rhythm-centric, but varied in approach, the 6-tracker traverses swirling techno, heady thumpers, muddy beatscapes and throwback boom bap.
Simultaneously airy and off-kilter, the release shows a breadth of approach that is not easily pigeonholed, but feels vaguely familiar.

Opener 'Round' soundtracks a laser tag pursuit scene with swayed synths, chattering percussion, and pitch-shift vocal echoes.
The title track 'Donor Goes To Hawaii' takes a Dilla bounce kit to the beach and gets the vibraphone and organ all sandy.
Jazzy piano loops and squelchy synths stack wobbly layers high like Jenga blocks on 'Aquarian Mummies'.

'Pistaccio' gets subterranean with infectious skittered patterning and a proper bump to boot.

Norwegian house and techno producer Bjørn Torske started experimenting with electronic music in the late '80s in his hometown of Tromsø. As a teenager he was inspired by other Tromsø musicians, especially Geir Jenssen, the musical prodigy later to be known as ambient pioneer Biosphere. Torske started releasing minimalist techno in the beginning of the '90s, primarily under the name of Ismistik.

The B-side starts with - Come Home , a stomping beat with a coating chord sequence and some straight hidrum patterns. After the break it changes completely and wondrously transform into an emotional deephouse beauty. - Around Tha Corner represents a dusty sound without compromises. The bassline-kickdrum pattern and the repeating deepchord push it from start to finish...one for the basements.

Especial welcomes the debut EP from Romanian duo Khidja. After remixing Baris K's 200 earliering on for the label, here they deliver two Eastern influenced pieces of dubby electronics, that are backed with remixes from Timothy J Fairplay and Juju & Jordash. Khidja appeared on Especial's radar after a call from one Mr Sean Johnson (A Love From Outer Space / Hardway Brothers) to say he'd DJ'd in Bucharest and that 2 young DJ's had closed the party with an amazing track that on enquiry turned out to be their own production. And so Mustafa soon arrived. This was followed by Abdul and before Teressa May could get her fascistic paws on them, they were safely part of the team and handed over to the care of Timothy J Fairplay (The Asphodells / Crimes Of The Future) and fellow cross border travellers, Juju & Jordash (Real Soon / Dekmental) for induction and reinterpretation. Mustafa is more immediate with shuffle percussion, swirling sirens and acid bubbles leading to a perfect hornbreak In the hands of Mr Fairplay though, a bigger, bolder version is seen. The word anthem is banded around easy at times, but when aired by Mr Weatherall, this reinterpretation, with it's stabbing bass and build, has seen howls wherever it's heard. Abdul on the other coin, is the calming influence. Art of Noise vocals, kick and bass keeping things simple, dub and echo enticing the slow-mo groove to swing before Eastern melodies take it away. Bass is the dominant force in the Juju & Jordash remake. A reminiscent (aka balearic) guitar is plucked from under the melody and throb to recall forgotten lands and complete a memorable debut.

With its debut EP on the Future Vision label, is the band created by artist, writer and producer Jared Hines in collaboration with executive producers Ron Trent and Jonesy.

Inspired by the Jazz Funk elements of UK outfit Atmosfear and the alternative Disco sounds of Dinosaur L, presented here on this EP are five tracks that embrace the energy of 'live' dance music.
