Phillipi & Rodrigo's 'Paciencia' (DEEWEE033) is the next taste of the Brazilian duo's debut longplayer, recorded, produced and mixed at Studio DEEWEE in Gent. Boasting songs about the cosmos, relationships, nostalgia and signs of the Zodiac, the album, also called 'Paciencia', will drop early next year on DEEWEE.

Released 9 November on all formats, 'Paciencia' (single) is 5 minutes of hypnotic Balearic goodness, chattering synths and a floor-skimming groove. Wrought by the hands of the Dewaele brothers, the transatlantic DEEWEEDUB sports a cunning percussive build-up before shedding its skin and heading straight for the heart of the dancefloor.

'Paciencia' follows Phillipi & Rodrigo's two previous DEEWEE singles, 'Mantra'/'New Beach' (DEEWEE017), and 'Karma'/'Gueto De Gent' (DEEWEE010).

Wonder Stories heads over the pond for their 24th release finding the Aussie/UK collaboration between Dawn Again (returning from his excellent EP on WS019) and UK underground champion Rothmans (known for his vinyl only label of the same name). Psychedelic, melodic, and grooving are the name of the game here with 'Timeless Odyssey' venturing into melancholic ethereal territory while 'Rainbow Perch' is an uplifting and bubbly affair. On remixes, Timothy J. Fairplay submits a jacked up sleazy version of 'Timeless Odyssey' while Emile Strunz tackles 'Rainbow Perch' into a 4/4 techno stomper with a new wave ethos.

Another fantastic release from the Moton camp.

Freamon is a denizen of the modern world, allegedly hailing from NY, according to some, not relevant, says he. What matters is the music - finely honed and carefully crafted dancefloor gems, served up with love the way they used to be, the way they ought to be.

The Hot Damn! EP is his second release on the mysterious Turbocapitalism label, after 2016's Black Grid EP. This time, he has decided to shine a spine-tingling light on our souls. He wants you to raise your hands and put them together in an overdose of holy joy on this unashamedly celebratory slab of sweet gospel grooving. Can you feel the spirit One listen to 'No More Crying' will settle any doubts on the subject. It's gospel-funk. Or gospel-not-gospel, which is like a million samples taken from every soul record you never heard, seamlessly stitched together as if created fresh today, with one idea - to meld together into one big explosion of spine-tingling dance floor joy!

The title track takes things down a notch with a heavy kick drum shuffle - stripped back analogue house, making for an intoxicating, dense brew of sounds, feelings and ideas. Fierce, pulsating free jazz sounds, snaking around that deliciously tense, bustling bottom end, creating an infectious groove that is fresh, different and most of all, impossible to resist.

Meanwhile, Madrid's DJF and Damian Schwartz do what they do best: they take that thing straight to the centre of Detroit, let it adjust to the new environment and then freely cruise the boulevards at night.

Morning is ready to break. Daytime heat lingers. Would-be revellers trawl the streets, hoping beyond hope to keep the night alive. Cutting through the stifling night air come two words, Furor Exotica. Six tracks spiral down this 12' of lurid intent. Keys are honeyed, dripping in funk, and further sweetened by a siren's call. Vocals tantalise, tease and trap while smoke swirls and heads swim. Three suitors are lured in, enraptured by those glazed words, addicted to the hooks and promises of Furor Exotica. Alan Dente amplifies the analogue warmth of this back alley den while Fabrizio Mammarella pays homage with an acid tinge to coarsen the temptress' taunt. Trujillo brings some relief, letting in some laid back tones and clean beats to bring up the lights on this late night haunt of ill-repute.

Rocksteady Disco drops Águas de Setembro by Igor B as the soundtrack for the northern hemisphere's transition from summer to autumn. Marking Igor's debut release, he carefully reimagines and reworks two latin jazz / música popular brasileira classics into modern dance anthems. On the A side holds 'Ponteio', a bittersweet house cut, that eventually opens up into an bubbly ecstatic dance piece. AA brings 'Cisco Dois', a sub bass and percussion heavy track with a brilliantly heavy breakdown to turn the dancefloor out. Toronto's Igor B is the next producer to be a part of Rocksteady Disco's pattern of artist breaking, and his debut release welcomes him into the Rocksteady Disco family in timeless fine style.

Love Drop drops (!) his first release on GAMM and goes all in for a jazz-disco-boogie affair that will be hard to resist.
Lesette Willson's jazzy boogie classic gets a proper rework with some female spiritual spoken word vocals on top.
Jupiter Beyonds jazz-disco monster gets a heavy club edit and last but not least one of the best jazz-funk tracks of all time by Johnny Hammond Smith gets a vocal treatment that just...works!

Another gem from the archives gets a much needed official reissue. The 12' mix of 'You' combines the original funk riffs, string arrangement and joyous piano with a squelchy lead synth to elevate the track to new levels. Anyone who saw that momentous back to back between Ge-Ology and Red Greg at Dekmantel last summer will know the power of this one.
My Music' on the B side is another favorite from the diggers - spiritual soul from Samuel Jonathan Johnson, tip!

Ombra International can save you with the fury and lust. Bordeaux Cold-wave band, Bagarre Perdue kick things off with 'Cowboy' and the psychedelic Spaniard, Sutja Gutierrez closes with a tripped out vocal track.
The B-side goes more for the dance floor with French-Londonite, Mondowski and a post-punk slow-wave song ties it all together from St. Petersburg Russia's, Seven Knives.

After a particularly Animated Trip ( a.k.a Voyage Animé in French, the name of Imported's previous release), Imported Recordings returns surfing on epic Random Waves ( a.k.a Vagues Aléatoires or V.A. in French). Mixing influences from NYC House, English Deep House, Russian catchiness and French flipping, this V.A. is a new invitation to push the boundaries of different styles of the House music that makes us vibrate. Canadian producer Estiban Lindsay gets 2 official edits from his 1980 album 'LA Walk' which has been fetching silly money on the net since DJ /Producer Hunee starting playing in his DJ sets in the last 18 months. Magic Fly gets 4 huge remixes from The Orb, Greg Wilson & Peza, Richard Norris, and Sare Havlicek.

We've compiled a selection of remixes for Space's massive hit "Magic Fly" which originally came out in 1977 on an album of the same name. The track went to number two in the UK singles chart and since then the band have become one of the most notable artists of the short-lived space disco music scene, returning with onstage remake performances since 1992.

The Orb's remix is first on the package, bringing their signature ambient sound to the track with a dreamy soundscape at its core as the original elements of the track drift in and out.

The Greg Wilson and Peza version follows, beefing up the percussion and adding an extra layer of cosmic melodies before label mate Richard Norris takes the spacey groove and oscillates it even further, bringing an eighties tinge to the seventies classic.

Sare Havlicek then extends the track into something longer and more DJ friendly, drawing out elements of the original across eight minutes to create a chugging dropped-tempo workout.

As usual, mega limited, so get those orders in quick if you want in.

Limited vinyl reissue of exceedingly rare 1978 French cosmic disco album 'Milkways'. Produced by Didier Guinochet, this Moroder-esque intergalactic masterpiece was the only thing ever made by these three anonymous space cadets. Featuring inconceivable analogue synth, dreamy astral chords, star-gazing melodies and stratospheric drum breaks, these eight tracks are some of the best in their genre - exactly the kind of space-age disco the likes of Faze Action are attempting to reproduce these days. 'Dance In The Milkway' and 'Astroport' are definitive standouts, but the album as a whole is light years ahead of its time - if you are into fearless celestial disco, then this is most certainly for you.

Mangled Records twentieth release also marks 20 years since it's first release. To celebrate the occasion here are two of Ray Mang's better known and loved tracks together on one 180gram Mangled 12" for you! Number One first surfaced on his solo debut '96 Noid release. It gained widespread support in the clubs and went on to be featured on both DFP's De-Luxe House Of
Funk and Groove Armada's Back To Mine compilations as well as his own Mangled LP. Look Into My Eyes is a blissed out Balearic gem that featured on the B side of Ray's
'10 DFA release and instantly became a firm favourite for many.

Harlem's legendary Disco label Queen Constance has long been a cult favourite among fans of underground dance music for decades.

One of many labels operating under the equally legendary P&P family of imprints Queen Constance was operated by one Peter Brown, a truly colossal figure in NYC's music scene, its catalogue still fascinates music lovers to this day. Covering a wide range of styles including Gospel, early Rap and Disco the label's output continually finds it way into the playlists of respected DJ's and selectors across the globe. This latest repress from the vaults is a real biggie - a true NYC underground disco CLASSIC!

High Voltage is one of the more familiar names in the P&P / Queen Constance galaxy. Led by Peter Brown and Patrick Adams right hand man and producer Michael Campbell who presided over some of the biggest and best sides the labels put out. This one is a must, essential, do not sleep business. 11.00 minutes of Disco fury! One is forgiven in thinking that this would've been huge had it have come out on one of the 'bigger' Disco labels, but that hasn't stopped 'Rock, spank, freak' becoming a true blue club anthem. Appearing in the playlists of DJ's and selectors as diverse as Larry Levan, Danny Krivit and Daniele Baldelli. Rough n'ready, unpolished but musically explosive the sounds contained on this here 12" are indeed High Voltage! As with a lot of these jams, this one's been badly bootlegged, so ignore those wack counterfeits that are out there and bag you a fully licensed reissue of this absolute bomb. Dope.

Fellow Native New Yorker's Odyssey & John Morales collaborate once more and for Ism Records it's a dream combination. 'Weekend' the Leroy Burgess & James Calloway disco anthem reworked by Odyssey & Yam Who from the bands brand new forthcoming album.
Ultra hot for the summer, all the remixes commissioned here are by some of most established in the industry.
John Morales & Sergio Munzibai one of most prolific production teams to come out of New York of all time, and from the late 70's onwards were constantly in demand on both sides of the atlantic. Back in the limelight since re-releasing the M + M compilations for BBE over the past couple of years, we've gone full circle again as M + M remixed many of the biggest Odyssey hits from back in day including Native New Yorker, Use It Up & Wear It Out, Going Back To My Roots & Inside Out. Ism Records hooked up with Morales in 2011 and starting discussing working on production for the band.
This version of 'Weekend' is balanced in tempo and styles, very close to the Patrick Adams Phreek version whilst also touching on the Arthur Baker's Class Action remake from 1983.

One of the scenes most talented producers and one of Ism's favourite remixers Ashley Beedle turns up the pressure with his second remix for Odyssey in the form of his 'Big Apple Uptown Story' series. Slightly tougher and more electronic than the M + M remixes but instantly a dancefloor smash, this has been getting road tested and tweaked for the best part of 2012 and is quite literally the sound of 'heavy disco'.
A name familiar to all the heads who were at the forefront of the mid 90's London 'Nu Disco' scene is Crispin J Glover. Crispin always hanging out at all the recent the Ism parties asked for the parts for 'Inside Out' and of course we had to oblige. The track which has been already remixed by a list of producers from 2011 but little did we know what was to be submitted. This is what you call a 'labour of love' and again a lesson in taking your time and working the mix to max!

Faze Action return with a brand new 12", teaming up with Zimbabwean born Zeke Manyika to create "Mangwana". Sung in Zeke's native Shona, and taking influences from Mory Kante, South African Kwaito to early house, Faze Action manage to create a record that harks back yet still has a modern and contemporary feel and is set to be the soundtrack to countless festivals and outdoor parties this summer.

The title track is followed by the stunning "Chiiko", featuring Zeke's vocals enriched by Rob's 'cello's with African rhythms floating you away to another tropical world. A Vision of Panorama turns up the dial with a stunning mix on the flip side. A new bass line adds to some quality keyboard work. Finally the brothers deliver are more stripped out dub "Paradise '89 Mix" tailored for the peak time.

thatmanmonkz graces Classic with his psychedelically grooving 'Ooh Wee' on 12', this time enlisting SoulPhiction and Norm Talley on remixing duties. Remaining true to his Detroit house and 90s boom bap influences, the title track holds a soft analogue crackle and bass loops tied together with delicate keys and soul vocals by Nikki-O. SoulPhiction's Nervös Mix is a production in two parts, leading with synth lines on deep and intense keys then ascending into disco glory. Detroit DJ Norm Talley takes a classic house approach with piano riffs and sharp hi-hats, adding another edge of genuine old skool sound to this release.
