Chris Liebing and Mathew Jonson remix Marco Faraone on ‘No Filter Remixes (Part I)’, landing March on Rekids.

Marking the first remix package from Marco Faraone’s 2020 ‘No Filter’ LP, Radio Slave recruits fellow dance music titans Chris Liebing and Mathew Jonson for a pair of remixes on one of dance music’s most essential imprints. Liebing steps up for the A-side, delivering a knockout take on the original. Creeping ambience and deep bass weight bubble throughout the track as additional percussion and synthesis unravel towards a climactic finish.

On the flip, Jonson turns in a distinctively delicate version, clocking in just shy of twelve minutes. Fluttering percussion swirl around off-kilter chords and vocals to craft a hypnotic, dream-like atmosphere.

Parallelle join forces with Nicolas Masseyeff once again for ‘Renegade’ on Crosstown Rebels, featuring a remix from Adam Ten & Mita Gami. Collaborating previously on DGTL, having known each other for years, Dutch brother duo Parallelle and France’s Nicolas Masseyeff have created a partnership within the studio that clicks. Parallelle are multi-instrumentalists, composers, producers, and Klassified Records owners with a hybrid sound that mixes up electronica, electro-jazz and underground house, while Masseyeff is equally accomplished and draws on minimalism, jazz, new wave, Detroit and Chicago when crafting his signature sound on the likes of Systematic Recordings and Diversions Music. Linking up again, the three talents combine for a first outing on Crosstown Rebels with ‘Renegade’.

Up first is title track ‘Renegade’, a deep mid-tempo house shuffler. The drums are elegant and airy, with bright chords and a rasping baseline. It’s a real mood builder with dramatic synth sweeps that brings a sense of class to the dance floor. Israeli artists Adam Ten & Mita Gami have been a creative force for the last couple of years, and their ‘High On’ EP on Crosstown Rebels last year gained huge success, defining a new movement of psychedelic house sounds. Their remix of ‘Renegade’ offers a slowly unfolding masterclass with moving melodies and modulated synths casting a captivating spell. Last of all is ‘Bandidos’, another deep and subtle track infused with rich synth work. The bright lines and deft pads are lithe and loose over the underlapping drums, encouraging you to gaze in awe as you get lost in the mellifluous groove.

Following up on a string of releases already this year from the likes of Third Son, Jackmate and Jerome Hill, Accidental Jnr continues to charge ahead, this time bringing UK duo Party Nails into the fold.

Italian artist Frhanks inaugurates his NO LOOKN BACK label with "Come l'amor", a two-track EP consisting of an orignal version and a remix by Romanian master Herck.

Mysterious minimalist techno presented in an exuberant art sleeve on this debut outing from label Aruil. These two extended studio jams are studies in suspense, their gradual modulations drawing the patient listener into a richly textured world. Stepping kicks and hand percussion dance around each other amidst layers of buzz and hum, creating an ever-changing flow to get lost in. This music is as suited to the more esoteric of dancefloors as it is to turning on, tuning in and dropping out at home.

The rather naughty Pilot label is back and ready to take you on a trip to the heart of the dancefloor here as Wodda steps up with more fresh garage, minimal and tech fusions. 'T Total' is a perfectly infectious swinger with rasping bass notes and crisp percussion that will get faces screwed up and floors pumping. 'Aphrodite Curse' picks up with more damn sexy sound designs and super silky grooves that will take any crowd for a cruise. There is some bright and old school piano action to 'With Me' while 'Keep It' then offers a turbocharged future house excursion that is all about the good times.

Lion & Lamb is the pub turned cult club in London that hosts special sessions from some of London's key electronic tastemakers such as Craig Richards, Radioactive Man, Butter Side Up and plenty more. In 2020 it launched a label that is as just as essential and Henry Hyde is next up complete the one release a year schedule it has favoured so far. He offers four tracks of froward thinking tech house starting with the full throttle funk of 'Approaching The Peak' then much more dubby and stripped back 'My Machine Walks'. 'Return To The Summit' takes off into the cosmos on fluttering synth leads and 'Over Cloud' is the trippiest of the lot with watery droplets and crispy percussion.

Mihai Popoviciu makes a return to Bondage-Music, he delivers four new
original tracks to drops his next EP “Echo Audio” on Bondage-Music.
The vinyl comes as 180g limited green coloured vinyl.

Spokenn; the musical merging of minds between Ferro and Reiss. Both are figureheads of the Amsterdam scene and key proponents of the VBX brand. Inviting the duo to showcase the first fruits of their labor on the label felt like a perfectly natural progression of things.

The title of their first EP is an homage to the intricate process of making music together. Limbic Resonance is defined as a symphony of mutual exchange and internal adaptation whereby two mammals become attuned to each other's inner states.

After having spend the better part of the past years debating, playing and creating music, the two step up. The resulting 3 tracker is in equal parts introspective as it is geared towards the dance floor. A statement that is further underlined by the ongoing pre-release support from key players like Cristi Cons, Vlad Caia, and tINI.

Romania’s Constratti delivers his ‘Late Summer’ EP via Yecad, comprising two originals and accompanied by remixes from fellow Romanian producers Sepp and Mihai Pol.

Residing in the capital city of Bucharet, Romania’s Constratti has been grown to become a beloved producer and DJ on the local scene and beyond, racking up releases on the likes of Storytellers, Aesthetic, Eagervision and more. Here though, Constratti joins the roster of Yecad, following on from material on the label by Barac, Dragutesku, Vlad Arapusu and Swoy amongst others.

Title-cut ‘Late Summer’ leads and sees Constratti lay down crisp drums and ethereal atmospherics intertwined with acid tinged bass in unfolding with a subtly nuanced feel. Sepp’s remix of ‘Late Summer’ follows and shifts focus to a more rhythmic fuelled feel, bringing additional percussion to the mix while stirring in vocal chants and fragments of the original’s atmospheric core.

‘Tempura Rolls’ opens the flip-side, diving deeper via bubbling synth textures, twitchy resonant glitches and airy chord sequences, underpinned by a rumbling low-end drive and low-slung drums. Mihai Pol’s twist on ‘Tempura Rolls’ then rounds out the EP, taking things in a more peak, dance floor focused direction courtesy of a gritty bass groove, saturated drums and the original’s smooth chords.

Anyone who has been out dancing recently might well have already heard some of the cuts off this seventh drop from the Only Music Matters crew because it has had early support by a:rpia:r. We don't know who is behind the beats but they sure do know their way around a studio: 'AAA001A' is super silky minimal with deft claps and hits scattered over a smooth tech house beat with swirling vocals up top. 'BBB001B' then layers up off-grid hits and tumbling synths, glitchy percussion and a loopy beat into something that is loose yet dynamic and last of all 'BBB002B' takes off on a crushing groove with warped and smeared vocal samples adding some late night trippiness.

Adding to this stellar offering is a special two headed remix package from the master of contemporary minimal music - Dewalta. The ETH Remix is a dance floor orientated mind melter that has been battled tested against backdrops like Sunwaves and Off-Sonar. The Metaverse remix creates its own rules with breakbeat lineage and chunky ambitions. No matter what variety of poison you prefer, “How Soon Is Now” will satisfy your deepest curiosities.

Hands sages of dreams and emotions, to the continuous search of couplings of colours and frequencies, Direkt lands on RE.FACELIMITED with four original tracks with "Way Back" EP. The Romanian top-producer once again shows his ability in making essential yet oniric dancefloor tunes, where gracious rhythmic drum patterns meet shimmery synths and crystal clear atmospheres, as is the case of "Way Back" and "Kaleidoscope" on the A-side. On the flip, he opts for fairytale breakbeat scenarios on "Groove 2", then rounding out the EP with the downtempo meditative jam "Lent".

For 14th release of MAYAK we worked with Dubfound to shape groovy and jazzy track - GANDHI'S NIGHTINGALE, full of classical electric pianos and vocal samples. On the B-side DEWALTA showcases his vision and skills so that his remix can shine at primetime. 180Gr, vinyl only.
