From Bremen, northern Germany, Massud Matin is coming up on Tupiar Records Limited with a great vinyl EP named LIKE YOU, featuring 2 of his own original tracks and 2 remixes from his analog addicts: Modebaku and Kaitaro.

Massud has a deep history going back to his days in the electronic community since 2007, as part of I.C.Records , respectively. even so,he pushes beyond his combined discographies to date, exing impossibilities, building rhythms from arrhythmia, teasing veiled textures from bold iterations of Synth Patterns. his distinctive fusion of sculpturing through shapeshifting software, programming subtractive and matrix modular synthesis to create playful shivering digital textures which oscillate with and against algorithmically mapped percussion samples, smeared synthetic chords levitate in the distance, stabs of digital noise punctuate the mix in twitchy, time-distorting patterns, the deliberation and control over distinctive textures and particles is obsessive, the end results of each individual track unfold with an organic temperament.

The cover art is painted with acrylic on canvas by romanian artist Elly S Oproiu, founder of Soul Drops and music enthusiast brought on board by the overall designer Mihai Dafinoiu, together making this exquisite release.

The circus has been in town for years, now it's time to move on. But before we say goodbye, clear the ring please for one last demonstration of Bremen dancefloor madness. A fire ring of tracks by all acrobats and clowns from Drowned Records is ready to infest the record bags of deejays worldwide one very last time. Thank you for your support, it has been a great time.

Dj Richard returns with another stunning release on Dial Records: Path Of Ruin.
Inspired by the rather harsh magic of New England in winter - the place where the three tracks have been recorded - Dj Richard creates a wide and dark raving beauty.

BEEYOU Records are back with a super split E.P from Two fresh up and coming artists, illi & Joe Rolet. 'Lumiere' has a memorable driving bassline with the perfect blend of atmospheric sounds. 'LDN 101' as it says in the name, has a massive influence from the London sound, with plenty of groove, swing and skippy hats. 'Stock Float' is full of energy, the 909 hat's and atmospheric pads come in at the perfect time to get the floor moving. 'Sand on Saturn' is a true reflection of the Planetary Notions front mans spacey sounds.

For its fourth installment in the vinyl-only series VRV, Vivus Records invites Otaku Records founders Mario Meneghini and Domenico Savio, aka Laboratory OTK.

Having both grown up on the dancefloors of underground clubs in Milan, they decided to fund Otaku Records to share their vision of music with the world. It would make sense, then, to also create music together and When Life Kicks In is a fascinating journey into their creative world.

The adventure starts with a Large Hadron Collider, a track full of lively grooves and some frisky bass lines that blend in perfectly. This one is clearly for the dancefloor, with its hi-hats and joyful percussions making you want to get your feet moving.

SIT's lovely warm-up set for Ricardo Villalobos at Sunwaves caught life the instant they started playing When Life Kicks In, the second track on this EP. It starts a little slow, but when that mesmerizing bass gets going, you get a beaming energy boost immediately.

A more haunting atmosphere is present in Laser Engraver, with some idiosyncratic background noises and a powerful bass line making this one a more contemplative affair.

The curtain falls with Some How It Worked and it certainly did. The piano chords are just splendid and an alluring sense of calmness encapsulates this track. It is a perfect closing statement.

For Phonica's landmark 20th release on the main label we go back to a classic from the same year the shop opened, Stereofuse's 'Casino EP', originally released on Berlin label Salo in 2003.

The 'Casino EP' marked the first collaboration between Martin Wörner & Thorsten Diegel as Stereofuse. They followed it up with a string of other 12's for other labels but it's this initial 12' that has been fetching high prices second-hand as one of the most sought after releases on Salo and for very good reason. A timeless EP sitting somewhere between house and techno (before tech-house became a disputed tag-line!) with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos & Craig Richards playing it regularly in their sets.

The EP kicks off with 'Black Jack', a pacey track which gets stuck in a serious groove. Skittering percussion, short looping samples and a breakbeat-feel in parts. A real tension builder and was a staple in the sets of Daniel Bell for many years. It is followed by 'Hot Slot', a techy dancefloor stomper led by a bouncing bassline and some intricate rhythmic patterns. The sweeping sound effects on this are bound to do some damage on a big system!

On the flip is the other killer track on the EP - 'Royal Flash' is an understated and hypnotic minimal gem. The percussion and synth stabs give this track a sense of continuous forward motion whilst the long, soothing pads keep it firmly planted in the ground. 'Pokerface' closes the EP with expansive, luscious pads and circling delay, gently underpinned by a deep bassline.

While Thorsten and Martin eventually went their separate ways to work on their own individual projects, with renewed interest in the Stereofuse project this timely reissue could well mark a starting point for future collaborations. This record is also the first in a series of EPs released to commemorate 15 years of the Phonica Records shop in Soho, London.

Our philosophy behind this concept is that the focus goes to the tracks being timeless, and music that you can listen to in every time of day and night. Saturday Dive by Giash was definitely our first pick for the first track on this release. We have been following this amazing producer for some time and we are really glad to have him on our label.
Klavier by Gri perfectly sits beside our opening track. With smooth atmospheres and laid back drums it really gives that calm feel and is perfect for those early morning sets.
Stratocumuli by Oneee stands strongly on our b side, with a bit more freakish vibe, but nicely rounded up by dreamy pads and spacey sounds.
Riser by Vincent Casanova is the final track on our fourth vinyl release. Another track filled with really nice and smooth atmospheric pads, accompanied by breaky drums and mystic voices.

It's good to know those 'wow!' moments still exist, like when we heard the first few seconds of DeWalta's 'Bitter Earth Dub". First things first though... this latest adventure in Cocoon's cult 10inch vinyl-only series comes from said David Koch aka DeWalta with Alex & Digby also turning heads with 'Citadel' on the flipside. Hailing from Berlin, DeWalta, has clearly been influenced by the musical heritage of Basic Channel or classics such as G-Man's Spartacus - a force and power that still has a place in the sets of Villalobos, Raresh and many other DJs, and rightly so. Timeless, kicking, reduced to the essentials but still interfused with daring space sounds and melodic shreds, 'Bitter Earth Dub' speaks to our deepest dance impulses, catches hold and doesn't let go. We're already calling out to Berlin for 'more of the same' and looking forward to the next cuts to emerge from DeWalta's Studio. On the Flipside, the opening salvos of 'Citadel' suggest Alex & Digby are taking a much more minimal, electronic approach, however it soon veers off in a completely different direction. Deep organ harmonies meet Black Dog and B12-like sound effects and an almost soulful deepness takes hold as we immerse ourselves in the track. 'Citadel' offers the perfect canvas for DJs who like using acapellas to create their own remixes live in the club, but even in its original form, it's still guarenteed to give the crowd goose bumps.

"This release is pure sundown pressure from the start. Just like the Waxing Gibbous moonrise the namesake EP transforms you ready for the descent into the dark night. A1 'Zero Gravity' launches into takeoff with a trajectory course aimed straight for the dancefloor. Sub bass and crisp percs put this track firmly in driving seat. A.2 'Tidal Wave' is flooded with 'Dub' influence. With a tape delay in full effect the low end modulates warm and easy from edge to edge. B1 'Lunar Blueprint' shifts gears and closed the EP in the Dub Techno arena. The hollow melody haunts the track and progresses through each section while spooky samples laced with reverb orbit a tepid bassline produced especially for
those dark hours.

It is time to discuss fundamentals. For his second appearance on Laut & Luise Constantijn Lange shows his interpretation of human mannerisms that contrast so much while being closely entangled. Able to deliver both pain and satisfaction alike, its apparent simplicty may deliver the purest bliss while the complexity of its impact can at times feel devestating: Power & Love. For the first part of this pair Onosizo stands by to passionately proclaim and address the true nature and dangers of power. In contrast the second part of this EP is a musical dedication to all the light hearted and emphatic moments, a chance to brighten up and an invitation to feel untroubled, if only for a few minutes. Just like a mapleseed rhino would do.

This June will see Bondage Music release part two of it's 'Home (Remixes)' package,
welcoming an array of artists to remix Mihai Popoviciu's recent long player on the label.

Following on from Part 1 of the package which has already garnered support from the likes of Huxley,
Neverdogs, Emanuel Satie and Mat.Joe to name but a few, Bondage Music returns with the second
offering in this four part series.

Tuccillo takes the lead with his interpretation of 'Focus', and as always from the Ibiza-based
Unblock music founder we're treated to intricately programmed, smooth and hypnotic material laid
out over seven and a half minutes with a deftly unfolding dynamic feel.
El Mundo's take on 'Triumph' follows, dropping the tempo and instilling a Latin edge to things via organic percussion, emotive strings and mystical vocals.

Frankfurt's Sascha Dive then offers up his 'Atmospheric Dub' of 'Music 999' to open the flip side,
as the name would suggest shining light on billowing dub stabs, ethereal atmospheres and robust
rhythms before Kevin Yost closes the package with his percussive driven 'Hynposia' remix.
The Mihai Popoviciu 'Home (Remixes) Part 2' is out on Bondage-Music 9th June 2017.

Acid Pauli's album BLD dropped earlier this year and was a superb reminder of Martin Gretschmann's unique place within the electronic music. Breathing musicality and adventurousness into everything that he does, the album covered a number of moods and emotions, from dystopian carnivalesque vibes to moments of high intensity, through to deep melancholia and synth laden ambience. Following on from the 'A' remix package, 'B' brings another huge selection of producers into the fray to reinterpret the originals. First up, Hamburg hero Stimming works over 'Amadou' - flipping the original, into a techy bomb. A thick kick underpins a shuffling, off kilter rhythm and beautifully treated melodics. Stimming's feel for gently pushing the dancefloor into new places shines through. 'René' is reworked by Roman Flügel, the Ongaku/Klang/Playhouse boss whose influence on the European electronic music scene has been immense. Always willing to experiment, 'René' is the perfect canvas - arpeggiated blips and beeps echo primitive electronic explorations by the likes of Francis Bebey, and a huge subby kick drum take this track into space. Alex Boman sets to work on 'Jeanne', locking into his signature groovy, tribal approach to working the dancefloor. The Swedish producer adds dubby elements, an irresistible percussion track and disruptive, random sounds to the thick, heady mix. Dutch wunderkind Satori tackles 'Jorge' - twisting the original into a psychedelic groover that finds room for backwards vocals, marimba-like melodies, fat basslines and shuffling breakbeats.

Here we have the second release on Deco. Label's owners Manuel De Lorenzi and Giacomo Silvestri deliver again 4 original deep and groovy tunes. The Smoke Ep is perfect to any kind of dancefloor, sexy vibe and housy touch.

Bondage-Music head honchos Pornbugs prep the labels next release for early April comprising three original tracks and a remix from Mihai Popoviciu. Since 2006, German duo Pornbugs have been pushing their minimal yet ambitious dance floor orientated house music through clubs across the globe, with their label Bondage-Music acting as a catalyst for forward thinking music. Bondage-Music also works as an outlet for other talented producers including Romania's Mihai Popoviciu and inmotion music signee Markus Homm to further develop their sound. Fresh from a string of early 2017 digital releases from Frink and Sous Sol, April sees Bondage-Music's first vinyl offering of the year, kick started with the subtle and melodic cut "When You Are gone", which takes a deep groove and laces it with a plethora of soft synths and atmospherics. Mihai Popoviciu then reworks "When You Are gone" into a different entity, rewiring a headier groove into the track with raw-defined hats, building further tension with tight synth stabs and ethereal pads. "Innocent" then takes tribal tinged percussion to new depths, fuelling it with booming kicks and flourishing chords, further intensified by swirling vocals. A pure dub aesthetic then shines through "Maritza", as saturated drums and a rumbling low end provide the skeleton for swelling synths to meander alongside spiritual vocals, closing out the package.
