Cult underground music show An Taobh Tuathail
releases 3 CD Boxset collection of music"An Taobh Tuathail ...; defined by individuality, idiosyncrasy and a determination to walk its own path. May it live for a hundred years." Irish Independent Cian Ó Cíobhain, presenter of cult underground music show An Taobh Tuathail (The Other Side) on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, has in the past compiled three compilations of music from his radio show for the Psychonavigation label. On August 27th, the three CDs will be re-released as a collection on the same label.

In five years Diynamic has become a big family and of course each member has to be part of Diynamic's
fifth birthday compilation. Solomun, Stimming, David August, H.O.S.H., UNER, Ost & Kjex, DJ Phono,
Adriatique, Thyladomid, Hunter/Game and Liem all did awesome exclusive tracks for the first CD of the
compilation. Aiming to define Diynamic's current sound, the different family-members did wonderful and
powerful tracks easily reaching their aims.

On the second CD artists from completely different genres of music put hands on the greatest hits of
Diynamic. They remix, rework or cover a song from Diynamic's catalogue with the intension to bring on their
very own level. Hot Chip, Digitalism, Cassius, WhoMadeWho and many, many more have taken part on
this charity-project to increase the donation for Kinderhospiz Sternenbrücke and of course they have done
very unbelievable tracks.

This compilation is a must-have for anybody that has followed Diynamic in the past years and for anyone
that wants to start following now. It's a milestone in the labels history and all in all it's the best gift you could
imagine.

Our encounter with The Eyes In The Heat (aka Oliver Ho and Zizi Kanaan) was not out of the ordinary. Ivan Smagghe was a
fan of Oliver's other projects (Raudive and his label Wires, multiple releases on staples such as Klang, Cocoon, Pokerflat etc.)
and he just let him know.The surprise came when Oliver mentioned that he was working on a 'rockier' project with a lebanese-
american singer into 'cowboys and brutal poetics'. Red flag rose instantly.

Ok so here's the last installment in the Creme JAK series. We feel there's not much to add to this concept and over the past few years this kinda musick has found the foothold it lacked when we started this lil' enterprise in the heydayz of beige vanilla Minimal. In any case it seems fitting to go full circle and draw the curtains with an epic disco anthem that might not be JAK perse, but at least coulda woulda shoulda been caned back in the dizzies in all the places that mattered ese! BadboE is back with the second EP from his upcoming album Pump Up The Funk coming out in the end of 2012. 4 brand new hot funky jams from the funk master himself - all mixed up and road-tested to perfection. Following up on the success of his One of Those Days EP which has topped the breakbeat charts on both digital and physical format.
BadboE is one of the key players in the nu funk scene and with this release he is stepping well into the world of Ghetto bass and electro vibes, but without loosing the funk and soul that he's so respected and loved for. This release is already getting support from some of the major players in the Ghetto Funk scene and has been very well received on a recent BadboE tour to Australia and New Zealand.

Here comes a record that shouldn't have been released in the first place. Who first started to circulate the CD-R with the blue inscription 'Waiting For Kim / We Get High' is totally unknown. The more known though, is who has been playing these two tracks ‚the one subtly uplifting, the other cranky dark ‚over the last few months. It's still an unsolved riddle who is responsible for those two very divergent (but obviously coming from a single source) productions. The fact that now these two tracks are coming out as a white label doesn't shed any more light on the affair either. But will please the DJ and club world nonetheless.

After the Dexter and Erik Travis releases its funkateer mr Blount getting freaky on his 2nd release! Hailing from New Zealand Reggie Blount made his debut 1.5 year ago on Clone Crown ltd. His Hard Times debut ep sold out straight away and got loads of fine feedback from the heads out there. This second ep starts with more crazy funky vocal p-funk tracks Flip side starts with the incredible track ''Hey''. One of those tracks that is able to give you goose bumps and grow on you to become one of those ''our tunes'' kinda tracks you share with that special person. Ep is finnishing of with the beautiful wave electro funk kinda thing called Racecar! As if Garry Numan is doing some p-funk. Recommended!

A darker pallet underpins the record but this is inverted then lifted with inserts of scattered euphoria. Whilst all that is synonymous with the current face of techno lurks consistently in the background throughout, in an almost redemptive fashion, we are hoisted upward from a chromatic descent and set forth onto a crisp, bouncy path peppered with light. The depth of stereo field is utilised perfectly here and the use of dimension is something of a staple for all of those who call Wigflex home. Hizatron is known for his seamless arrangements, catchy melodies and punchy percussion and this record has that unquestionable 'Tron swagger but the familiar sound is accelerated by new influences from Bashley who although a relatively unknown member of the family brings a fresh range of timbres that compliment Hiza's signature grooves.

How The Other Half Lives is back for a second outing and this time proudly present 'Purple Stuff' by Hounds Of Hate.

HOH - masterminded by London-based Stan Iordanov but featuring a rotating cast of members - were active between 2009 and 2011. Their objective was simple: perform live electronic music completely without a backing track. While shortlived, the band's two sought-after 12"s, mix cassette collaboration with Hype Williams ('Deuces') and refreshingly ambitious take on live performance saw them swiftly billed alongside the likes of Caribou, Gold Panda, Toro Y Moi and more while touring Europe and America. With their sound fast-evolving and splintering into new individual experiments, they disbanded last year to focus on other projects.

The recently revived Question of Time label returns again with another standout single, this time from the enigmatic Aqob who swaps his usual ambient production for some quality atmospheric techno...
"The Red Planet EP" is a 4 track EP, and also Aqob's first new release to come out through QOT. Departing from his usual Ambient / Downtempo productions, but not from his favorite source of inspiration, Aqob bring us 3 tracks of Sci-Fi-inspired dancefloor Techno."The Red Planet" is a subtly evolving piece, with a touch of mystery that captures the imagination, while providing the necessary energy for the dancefloor. The remix is a more straightforward techno affair, presenting the same themes in a more linear and relaxed fashion.On the B-side, "May in Saturn" is unashamedly old-skool, with a chorus of strings that run through the track, supported by a strong bass line, while ethereal vocal samples take it to its conclusion.
Finally "Took my mind" completes the EP in a more familiar territory for Aqob, a denser, more mental sound, based around an electric bass groove, punctuated with vocal samples."The Red Planet EP" will be released as digital download and 12" vinyl.
