His infectious rhythms, enveloping textures and unfamiliarly familiar melodies conjure that territory perfectly.

The Swedish solo project PRO424 has since the debut in 2011 wandered between musically narrow alleys, and finds his passion and inspiration in the classic ambient music, electronica and melodic techno. Immune is another step musically both into himself and into the unknown, where the musical norm is put to test and challenged by combining the softest ambient music with hard machine techno. The music can be seen as a fragile mix of Underworld and Tangerine Dream, with a scent of Richie Hawtin. Immune is released on vinyl LP and digitally.

Midwich is proud to present MAGAS's Heads Plus, the first proper vinyl release from James Marlon Magas since 2009's Violent ARP. For the past several years, Magas has been concentrating on instrumental production, eschewing vocal histrionics of previous work, in favor of moodier, more open-ended composition. This focus has resulted in the bombastic and hallucinatory Heads Plus, an all-instrumental wallop that fuses howling ARP Odyssey, capricious Juno funk and fuzzed Rhodes anchored to the ever-present throb of the Roland TR-808 drum machine. Freed from vocal constraints, Heads Plus conjures a cinematic ambience where light and dark wrangle for dominance in a dystopian post-techno near-future. Plowing ahead with gleeful abandon, this 5-track EP is a take-no-pris-oners statement of intent. A digital download code is included with purchase.  James Marlon Magas is a longtime Chicago-based producer, composer and performer who has defied genre convention through-out his career. He has led iconoclastic bands Couch and Lake Of Dracula and has operated under his solo electronic pseudonym, MAGAS, since the late '90s. He recently contributed to the score of Italian director Asia Argento's lncompresa (Misunderstood), which premiered at The Festival de Cannes in 2014.

Und genau darum dreht sich auch Verbalizer, das nun erscheinende Album von Anthony Rother, auf seinem neuen Label Nextdata.

Der Club als abstrakter Raum. Es geht um das Loslassen. Menschen machen sich frei, begegnen einander
und die Musik wird zum gemeinsamen Taktgeber.

Irgendwann nennt Rother diesen Prozess - die Dramaturgie der Ekstase', kann sich dabei aber das Grinsen
nicht verkneifen. - Die Leute sollen mit Verbalizer einfach ihren Spaß haben. Ich stand im Club und fühlte
plötzlich den Sound für dieses Album.

Verbalizer treibt im Raum nach vorn, ohne ins Intellektuelle abzugleiten. Es ist die Geschichte, der Augenblick und das anbrechende Abenteuer einer tanzenden Gesellschaft, irgendwo auf dieser Welt.
- Ich war auf der Suche nach einem expandierenden Klang. Dabei war wichtig, wie ich diesen Sound den Synthesizern in meinem Studio entlocke, so dass dabei eine Kraft entsteht, die alles Weltliche und den Alltag beiseite zu drücken vermag', erklärt Rother den hedonistischen Ansatz von Verbalizer.

Club-Tracks wie diese kommen ihrem Wesen nach ohne erzählerische Inhalte aus. Dennoch sorgen sie
beim Hörer für das Durchleben - oder besser für das Durchtanzen - ihrer ganz eigenen Geschichte. - Einige meiner vorherigen Alben haben ein komplex durchdachtes Konzept. Verbalizer wechselt
dagegen vollkommen die Perspektive: Der Inhalt und was sich aus dem Album ergibt liegt im Körperlichen, dem unaussprechlichen.'

Crystal World is a glittering electronic pop album by Marnie, the moniker adopted by Ladytron lead singer Helen Marnie for her debut solo project, produced by Daniel Hunt and co-produced by Bardi Johannsson.

Recorded in Reyjavik, Iceland, in August 2012, Crystal World comprises ten original songs written by Marnie while Ladytron enjoy a temporary sabbatical. Crystal World evokes the collision of two spheres. In the midst of a volcanic electronic landscape, the heart and soul of Marnie merge to create a glacial pop affair. Frequently Marnie laments the sea, itself so suggestive of change and movement, a feeling which ebbs and flows across the record, luring the listener in despite the gathering emotional storm.

Focus track The Hunter was issued as a download single in May 2013. Hearts On Fire is another dark anthem with a pop chorus that builds until it's close. Venturing further into Crystal World, Submariner offers a fragile tale to warm the coldest of hearts, while closing track Gold inspires just the right amount of melancholy, at the same time ending with soaring guitars and synths and an immense feeling of hope. 

This double vinyl album is housed in a gatefold sleeve. The fourth side of the vinyl features an attractive Marnie 'M' logo etching. The cover design is by Laura Hussey, with photography by Lisa Devine, assisted by Mack Photography.

Summer is with us once more and its time for the 6th instalment of the Beach Disco sessions. Six years of summer music for the sun yup time flies. This year (as in 2014) we have enlisted the help of the highly able DJ skills of "Situation" from the west country of the UK. Ben Vacara and Mr Mullato have done a swell job of selecting and mixing a fine slice of Balearic disco summer for the 17 track CD.

Things open up from the left field and 1980. Mysteriously mislaid tapes from Roland Romanelli and Jannick Top, who had just finished on sessions for Space /(Magic Fly) 3rd album. A slow burner opener. Next we head off Vilnius, Lithuania where Downtown Party Network present a slice of chunky nu disco grooviness. Beach Disco hosts Situation are next up with their "Get To Know Me" a fine slice of soul-disco party, vocal house. Next its jazzy house disco with "County Clonk" with Norwegian Nordic disco-meister Lindstrom on the quirky remix.

Audio Luxury from Russia give us "Every Kiss" and Situation give us some sunrays with "Here Comes The Sun". Next, Canaries Island resident Ilya Santana hits us up with a brand new tune the hypnotic "Hypo-Disco". Next we take a trip back to the 80s with Bill Laswells Material partnering with the Chic man Niles Rodgers for some of those un-mistakable guitar chops. Bronx Dogs then get bass guitar groovy followed by Ruff Dugs mix on the classic "Ditry Talk" by Klein and MBO (the song that inspired Blue Monday).

On July 6th Lockah follows up his recent 'And Blue Brindle Too' EP (which picked up support from Fader & Noisey) with a new long player, 'It Gets More Cloudy...', which furthers his stylistic progression, integrating a host of live instruments and vintage synthesizers into his set up - all recorded in a remote Sussex studio featuring guitar by Mount Bank and drums from Lockah himself.

IGMC finds Lockah reaching for pop driven melodies, delivering joyous moments of funked out basslines, ear worm synth lines and beats drawing from a rich palette of electronic music from the past and present creating original music with a unique personality.

Following a series of releases on Mad Decent, Mishka, Activia Benz & Donky Pitch as well as his Tuff Wax imprint, Lockah released his debut album 'Yahoo Or The Highway' via Donky Pitch in 2014, gaining support from Pitchfork, XLR8R, Dummy & Resident Advisor. He has remixed Hundred Waters, Danny Brown, Jaw Jam & Slugabed, provided guest mixes for Diplo on BBC Radio 1 & Dummy Mag and played shows across the UK, Europe and Australia.

Butterz have finally got their own studios, and this is the first music to come out of their new found home. Royal-T, DJ Q and Flava D lean towards their UK Garage roots on both versions. The Day Mix, designed in the spirit of the 'Tropical' style Royal-T & DJ Q have explored previously alongside JME and Preditah in the series of the same name. The night mix is a chilled out version at 125 bpm, something typically out of the Butterz palette. Musical explorer Debruit returns with a new solo album 'Outside The Line', set for release through his new imprint ICI.

After drifting far at sea, Debruit is reaching the coast of an imaginary land where ancient west Africa cohabits with 80's New York. Hooked on a theme of "African coldwave", 'Outside The Line' collects unexpected musical flotsam, combining polyrhythmic dance patterns with synthetic machine music. Its a territory where the chant heavy, minimal strut of 'Separated Together' rubs up against DFA-style dub-disco on 'Shock' and hi-tempo shenanigans on 'Transverse'.

French producer and musician Xavier Thomas aka Debruit is a musical explorer who imagines alternate worlds and the way they'd sound. He plays with time and disparate sounds, molding static dimensions and geographical borders into new asymmetrical audio forms. His music is electronic but with a human feel.

Marcin Cichy (Meeting by Chance / Skalpel / Ninja Tune) is a multi-talented artist from Wroclaw Poland , an expert in sound design, ambient and cinematographic sounds. His music can be described as an original hybrid of dub and minimal with granular sound design, ambient sounds and unique quality sound.

This is a very special release for the Spanish label Lovemonk - a wonderful project with a great outcome. ING Direct filmed the accompanying music video to raise funds for Unicef. They will use these funds to build schools in Africa. And Lovemonk was in charge of the music. Yuri Mendez from Pajaro Sunrise and Barcelona's up and coming house music star Clip! joined forces and under the name "Conundrums" they produced "Keep On Dancing". The package comes with remixes by Berlin's Xxxy and two totally different remixes by Clip!

Ju'Go presents his first Feature-EP together with Mat, a Berlin DJ and producer . "Different Moves" distinguishes itself by deep basses and instruments full of sound like saxophone or piano which operate harmoniously in the interplay together. The powerful piece of music is rounded by remixes of Oliver Schories, Melokind and Vamos Art, who also indicate the gentle side of the EP.

Guillotine is an electronic music duo from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Saulo Pais (Dada Attack) and Zeno Mainardi. To create these tracks, they used a heavy setup of analog electronic equipment. This resulted in three raw eclectic techno tracks with a sharp edge. Marcel Lune delivers his 'Sounds From The Desert Gully' L.P, featuring twelve tracks from the Bristol based artist.

In 2013 Marcel Lune was named "a prodigious new talent", having caught the eye of several industry names with his Intergalactic Dance Floor Massacre EP. Amongst these were Gilles Petterson, Addison Groove and Rustie. Having just dropped his second, self-titled, EP on Tony Thorpe's Studio Rockers, this artist now brings you his debut full length album, 'Sounds From The Desert Gully' on the same label. It features guest vocals from 21-year old Californian producer and rapper Lee Laamaj.

The album includes one track from that first EP, the lilting, drunken beat of Eight Legged Elephant, which fits in alongside Marcel's newer cuts like Voyager and Gully Rhythm. All 12 tracks offer maximalist, genre spanning grooves.

Nookula, a jazzy hip-hop influenced track employing muted trumpet samples and flowing disco strings to build things, before unfolding into a funk-infused groove.

Recent single Fantasia is drenched in sweet, multi-tracked vocals from Reading based singer Haze, a former winner of the BBC New Songwriter award.

Seawolf continues with the hiphop tinged vibes. West-coast rap talent Lee Laamaj sings and lays down some playful rhymes over slowed down crunchy handclaps and glitched up G-Funk keys on Cali '96.

Voids offers some squelchy pads over a break beat loop that drops after a couple of minutes. The manic sound continues on Soul Beat Runner and D'Angelo - a couple of rough-cut 2 step numbers before Marcel's ability to craft his trademark choppy funk is summed up in Under The Willo and, closing track, Only You.

"We're big fans of French synthpop like Jacno, Deux, Ruth and Serge Blenner. This kind of playful synthetic sound mixed with weird and sometimes depressing poetry had a big influence on us as kids and as musicians," reveal the French duo DAT POLITICS. Since 1999, Claude Pailliot and Gaetan Collet have been working on music shaped by those influences, without referring to them directly. Drone, noise and musique concrète are points of reference that clearly come through in their electronic songs to this day and are also closely related to pop music.

Rudeboyz are Massive Q, Andile-T and Menchess from Durban. They make Gqom (or Gqomu or Igqom), raw, dark and hypnotic South African house music rooted in the townships of Durban, and shared with the world via the internet and social media. Gqom blares out at makeshift clubs, taxis and shopping malls, it is THE music in Durban. Gqom roughly translated from Zulu to 'Bang' or 'Hit' - It's uncompromising and stripped back music geared for the dancefloor. This EP has been a long time coming. Internet in Durban is woeful, which explains why a lot of tunes are at lower bit rates and equally why this release has been so long in the making. The EP opens with Get Down - the most direct and punishing of the four tracks with a punching synth and unrelenting kicks that do not deviate from their rhythm or their cause. Mercedes Song and Mitsubishi Song are odes to legendary presses of the pills that fuel the parties that run through the night. They roll for six unsettling minutes a piece - a long ominous drone underpinning the pounding beats. On Mercedes Song TD Snax adds to the unease as he shouts and yelps in Zulu: Yaze yangibamba weeh yaze yangibamba' - "This Mercedes has got me so high, this is my Mercedes.' Mitubishi Song, one of the biggest Gqom tracks of 2013, mirrors this unease switching between cascading toms and jolting, stuttering rhythms, cowbells and bird tweets. Sambuka Dance is an ode to a very different poison and its disorientating arrangement is reminiscent of its effects. A jarring, angry chant harasses incessantly transforming the track into a full body experience. As Jumping Back Slash eloquently put Gqom feels like music you've been listening to for years'. It is a ghostly cousin of sounds it touches on - brash, abrasive music with no inhibitions. These four tracks were handpicked from a vast catalogue of tunes from Rudeboyz built up over the last couple years.
