Bicoastal disco aficionado, Super Elevation label/shop owner, and all-around legend of the scene, Tom Noble brings forth a sprawling project 15 years in the making with his House of Spirits full length LP on Razor-N-Tape.

Slow-cooked over more than a decade, the eight tracks that stretch across this double 12 inch pack are the realization of Tom’s unique vision of modern dancefloor soul, with lush live instrumentation and deviously catchy hooks. Boasting a near encyclopedic knowledge of decades of club music, Tom draws on influences like Patrick Adams & the Mizell Brothers to build a sound that’s both reverent to the past, but feels extremely fresh and immediately timeless.

The lead off singles ‘Times Are Changing’ and ‘Please Take Me There’ and respective remixes by Harvey Sutherland, Makez and Sizmo have already garnered huge support, and ‘Holding On’ the beloved original House Of Spirits single from 2020 appears with a shiny new mix. The album opens with ‘Love Trip,’ an uptempo invitation to the sonic world to follow, and moves through various moods, like the Brit-funk vibe of ‘Time Is Running Out,’ the mid-tempo groover ‘I Get Lifted’ and the downtempo R&B smoothness of ‘Diamond Eyes’ featuring dreamcastmoe on vocals.

The cheeky dollar bin artwork rounds out this package perfectly, and with the tracks mixed to perfection and cut tough for the floor, this is an essential record that will surely find a permanent home in the bag.

This record blends a love of techno, sampling, and live recording into an aggressive and thoughtful electronic tape. First sounds pressed to wax by Troy Schwab, wearing his influences on his sleeve. More to come in the future from his catalog.

This is the debut release from Danish Qbasic as a solo artist, and its likely the strongest lo-fi record to emerge straight out of Copenhagen.

The A-side brings a cheerful, feel-good disco vibe, based on an old Detroit sample that loops endlessly, accompanied by repetitive, uplifting woodwind instrument.

Flip over to the B-side, and youll encounter a strong contrast: dark, mean heavy, and gritty cassette tape samples create a dreamy, solitary journey through an urban nightscape. As you walk through the dark night you discover shadows of new, sleepy buildings appear, drawing you in, yet leaving you torn between approaching or retreating. You dont want to go towards them, but neither do you want to leave.

Freude am Tanzen is back for a very special occasion. In 2022, three Various Artists EPs will be released, celebrating the 24th anniversary of the label from Thuringia. Whilst occasions like this would normally be celebrated on the quarter century, this release makes sense not only on the mathematical level. 3 compilations with 4 tracks provide the half of 24.
The release however also makes sense in terms of history. Freude am Tanzen is showcasing a broad range of electronic music, never neglecting their history but also looking into the future.

The last installment of the anniversary-compilation starts with the upcoming effgee reminiscing about something that’s most likely happened to everyone once or twice, packed into a classic yet fresh house track. Beautiful chords combined with a proper baseline. Sharing the A-Side with him is d.m.s., who’s production is settled somewhere between the urban and the jungle, incorporating elements of both worlds. Some groove to it, with vocals that stimulate to think!
The B-Side on this release focusses on variation. Lauer combines lush deep house vibes with some acid elements into his track ‚Janitors‘, while LoYoTo have opened their whole toolbox for their contribution. A wide array of samples and a meticious drum arrangement.

The Malta-based label Lost & Found has just exposed a new two-track dancefloor weapon to the world! It's one of those releases that fans of the genre waited for for countless months. Would it be possible to imagine Cornucopia's take on The Great Escape by Volen Sentir and Tantum's vision of Loco Motif by Kasper Koman? No! However, the release speaks for itself. The two masterpieces have an otherworldly attitude surpassing the unwritten rules of music classifications and satisfying the emotional needs of the global audience.
Throughout over fifteen minutes of pure brilliance, the material delivers temperament, excellence and elegant futuristic audio concepts.

Folamour comes here with a crossover 12", exploring the whole spectrum of human emotion through his personal vision of a journey. The vinyl record starts with Novalaise, sweet memory of the french country where the producer's from. The track builds itself up around a slow progression of a catchy acoustic piano loop. The listen goes on with La Pierre et Le Sabre, in which Folamour spreads his love for french 90's House vibes, paying tribute to soul and gospel, two genres that mainly influence him.
B-side starts with Rue d'Amsterdam, an undeniably Hip-Hop influenced track on which Folamour develops keyboards, bass and vocal samples around a rough beat, taking the listener away on an inescapable urban dream. The record ends with L'Île des Gauchers, bewitching song inspired by Folamour's literary ravings
(Alexandre Jardin in particular). The track progression can be compared as a book reading, rocked by an ubiquitous bassline, attending its voices until the last furrow.

Gelateria Fisotti (a real gelato spot from Otranto, Apulia IT) is back with the 2nd volume of Gelato Italiano series, a various artists that presents itself as a summer soundtrack for the coolest gelaterias of the riviera.

Defected Records serve up heavy-hitters CamelPhat, OFFAIAH, Josh Butler and David Penn on this covetable 12' vinyl release showcasing some of their current hottest productions. CamelPhat & Ali Love kick-start side A with their killer 'Dopamine Machine', the follow up to the chart-smashing hit 'Cola'.

Injected with an intoxicating vocal hook and a body-jerking beat, this record has been on heavy rotation in clubs and festivals all summer. Next up, OFFAIAH delivers his adrenaline-pumping 'Work It Out', a firm favourite amongst the BBC Radio 1 Dance crew and certified to set the roof on fire.

Side B sees DJ Mag and Beatport award-winning producer Josh Butler blend uplifting synths and rave stabs with powerhouse vocals by soul duo HanLei on 'Feels Good'. Ending this dynamite release, David Penn returns to Defected after eight years with his classic house party-starter 'Nobody', laying down a hell of a lot of soul on a thundering bassline and piano riffs. This is a rare opportunity to cop these massive artists under on one exceptional vinyl release.

Worm Records is thrilled to present its debut release, featuring four tracks that blend danceable rhythms with melodic audible hints, from some of the scene's finest producers. The A Side kicks off with “Rockin”, a sonic deep-dive from Bristol-based producer Gallegos. Next up is “Festern” a track from Canadian native, The Mole with his deep trade-mark sound. The B Side switches the vibe with “Booster” a moody one from Wallace which feels like it lives in the same universe as Afefe Iku’s - “Mirror Dance”, but with the right amount stripped back. The final track on the EP is a stretched-out remix of Ruf Dug’s “Manctalo Beach”, a discofied journey by More Amour (Artwork & Jon Solo), described by Artwork at last year’s Pikes Halloween as Punk Electro.

All proceeds will support UK Food Banks through the LIVEFORLOVE campaign.

Moments, Guy Mantzur's brand new label returns with its second release, presenting over fifteen minutes of revolutionary material by Tamir Regev. The two parts of this conceptually coherent release create an exciting and exceptional soundscape. Tamir uses his high-tech studio skills to form an elegant contemporary production with a fluid arrangement. However, this brilliant, forward-thinking artist doesn't just focus on the latest tricks in the book. His tonal elements address the thousand-year-old traditions of the Middle-Eastern culture. The music that tastefully connects the past and present. Nevertheless, Tamir's artistic expression isn't just an impractical experiment but powerful dancefloor tools. It's an electronic dance sound that can turn any party into a spectacle.

Following up 'EP1', committing the label's best recent digital hits to wax, Defected Records deliver an EP of fresh house heat, previously unavailable on vinyl. Kicking off the A-Side Jack Back delivers a thunderous and self-assured house record with a powerful 4/4 groove and intoxicating vocal. Next up is Qubiko's remix of Sonny Fodera's 'To Love', which features a stunning vocal from Shannon Saunders and a bouncing bassline destined for the dancefloor.

Side B opens with a thumping beat and tightly-harmonised vocal delivered by the powerhouse partnership that is Ferreck Dawn and Robosonic, with their track 'In Arms'. Rounding of the release is Chez Moon's 'Midnight Love', with Rocco Rodamaal on remixing duties, making for an atmospheric and cosmic track. The spirit of Defected is captured on this release, with house music so good it just has to be heard on wax.

Latin-Afro passion for the next Edition of "MoBlack Gold". Blending vibrant beats, soulful melodies and sweet vocals for a captivating musical journey.

The official return of Dutch producer D-Felic. In the early 2000s he was one of the few in the Netherlands who got into the broken beat/soulful house sound, next to also crafting neo-soul, hip-hop and funk-oriented productions. He has worked with people like Colonel Red, Takuya Kuroda, Sandra St. Victor, Mark de Clive-Lowe, & others. After having dropped various remixes in the past year, and a few singles from the vault, it's now finally time for his comeback EP and vinyl debut: 'rEVOLution'. The EP features six soulful tracks, two with Dutch vocalist LYMA, two with US vocalist Ovasoul7 and two instrumental cuts. The unique and colorful album artwork is done by Jawgem, a fellow artist from The Hague.

Season Limited returns with French house mainstay Franck Roger at the controls again. He kicks off with 'Think About It' which is a chunky groove with some crisp percussion and lithe synths worming their way in and out of the drums while a woozy vocal adds some soul. The instrumental mix peels back that vocal to allow the beats to make their mark. On the flip, 'Reach The Stars' is a dubbed-out and percussive number with a sultry late-night feel. 'Black Widow' then closes down with a more fun groove and some dusty hi-hats. All of these are sure to do a great job on the floor.

Hitting their tenth release, Heels & Souls Recordings journey to South Africa reissuing Hot Slot Machine’s pioneering and sought after self-titled album from 1992. Cultivating a sound and vibe that took South Africa by storm in the early '90s, the six track LP took influence from the genres that drifted over the Atlantic from the US and UK. From house and R&B, through to soul, hip-hop and reggae - creating a rhythm-driven, bass-heavy blend of them all, repackaged with a township flavour.

Known to many as Joe Nina, Makhosini Henry Xaba’s early forays into production would help lay the foundation for the infectious, groove-laden genre that would go on to be labelled as kwaito. With two albums already under his belt as T. McCool and King Rap, aged just 16 Makhosini wrote and produced Hot Slot Machine with the help of Gerdes Chessman - an LP that was far beyond both its time and his youthful years.

Striving to imitate the heavy house sounds inbound from the UK and America, artists like Blackbox and Ten City became big influences. Hot Slot Machine radiates with those impressions, providing something unique in South Africa in the early ‘90s. Leaning more into house and hip hop than the disco-flavoured bubblegum rhythms, the tracks were richer in sound, heavier on the synths and powered by rattling basslines.

Undeniably infectious and unquestionably well put together, the album contains six hits and no misses. With the chunky hip house grooves of ‘Rhythm’, ‘Unchain My Heart’ and ‘Shake Ya Down’, running side by side with the low slung, magnetic bounce of ‘Lookin’ Mix’, ‘I’ll Be Ready’ and ‘Lovin’ Mix’.

Sadly the tapes were long lost, so the wizards Sean P and Justin Drake ripped and restored the album, with Justin giving it a well-deserved remaster. Licensed from Gallo with the blessing of Makhosini, this truly must-have LP now comes complete with a printed inner sleeve housing liner notes and never-before-seen photography.
