Diego Ruiz, aka DFRA, is an Argentine music producer very active in the last five years with several productions in the underground deep house scene. "Get Up Stand Up" is a 2004 song by the Italian dance project Stellar Project,

created by singer-songwriter and producer Stefano Sorrentino, featuring American actress and singer Brandi Emma.

Their song, thanks to mixes by Phunk Investigation, reached number one on the US dance airplay chart (Billboard) on November 20, 2004.

The song also reached number 14 on the UK singles chart that same year.

After recent Ron Allen reissues on Emotions Electric and our own Classic Cuts imprint, it's time to revamp the mothership itself: Strobe Records. First one up in this new campaign is R.A.S.E.'s The Ron Allen Sound Experience EP -- a four-tracker, originally out in 1991, that captures what is timeless about Allen's signature sound: warm basslines, soulful vocals, and that Toronto swing. The A-side serves up two uplifting mixes of Get On Up, while the B-side goes deeper, yet keeping the soul fully intact. A perfect reintroduction to one of Canada's prime house architects.

Cataleya reach double digits with a very special cover of a Soulful House classic. Coflo freshens up 280 West’s Love’s Masquerade for modern audiences with the help of Canadian vocalist CEE. Their sparkling cover is backed by mixes from Vick Lavender, DJ Spinna and more from Coflo. Coflo’s Classic mix has the vibe of the 90s mixes, whilst Vick turns the track into a glorious synth addled bumper. Spinna offers his own version, where sturdy beats, vocals and free flowing keys combine. This is a fantastic update of a classic!

Collettivo Immaginario is set to unveil their newest single, "Tempo Al Tempo," on November 10th. This EP is inspired by love and dreams and continues her quest to find the perfect blend of emotional yet minimal melodic beats. Opener 'L'Amour' radiates Lazic's signature sounds with a slick bassline and melodic chords that convey meaningful emotions under female spoken words. It's a seductive world of warm pads and silky beats that cast a hypnotic spell. The fantastic 'Todo El Universo' features the vocals of Lazic's Spanish friend Monica. The title translates as 'all the universe' and is a favourite line from Paulo Coelho's novel The Alchemist about accomplishing your dreams. It's a deep and comforting groove with soft drums and pillowy pads that soothe the soul and are perfect for more intimate dance floors.
Remixer Nu Eau is a pivotal part of Romania's minimal scene with a meticulously crafted sound that has taken him to the likes of Gettraum and Memoria Recordings and he also co-founded the Uvar imprint. His version of ‘L'Amour' is more up tempo but no less heady, with lush cosmic synths doing an elegant dance over the compelling beats.

Spanish pair Los Suruba have done it all over the last 20 years - released hundreds of tracks, played thousands of gigs, established their own network of record labels, held residencies everywhere from Ibiza to London and crafted countless underground hits. Their remix of ‘L'Amour' is serene and cerebral with paranoid voices drifting through the mix and rippling chords keeping you afloat in the cosmos.

States Of Bliss’ is the next album by Fred P, his third full length in the last year, following ‘Oasis’ and ‘Abstract Soul’ and the most expansive of the three. Produced on the move in hotels and airports, as well as Fred's studio in Berlin, ‘States Of Bliss’ is described by Fred as “a collection of musical imaginations that truly inspire one to actions of positivity and balance, incorporating a range of emotive moods to create an environment for expansion within a sonic structure.”

Within the two parts States Of Bliss becomes a musical landscape spanning dance floor grooves such as ‘In The Flow’ with a vocal sample by Cassy, to the psychedelic acid jazz of ‘Live Your way’ moving into the meditative ambient goodness of ‘Awakening Desire’. There’s also the jazz track ‘NY’ recorded in 2012 that was remixed for the legendary "Selected" compilation. Transient Response is a storytelling of moods in motion, from city to city, situation to situation from China-born, London-based artist Guohan. Side A opens with ‘Don’t Forget Your Hiss’, a funky dusty groove built around the repeated phrase ‘带走我的’ gradually unfolding into ‘带走我和你的故事’ meaning ‘bring along the stories of yours and mine’. ‘First Light’ follows as a percussive MPC-driven slow burner, capturing a swirling summer day in the studio.
Side B starts with ‘Seeds of Tomorrow’, a mellow drive through thoughts with a broken groove constructed with drum machine, djembe and shaker. Growing synths and bassline from the analogue devices keep your head nodding and feet moving. Backed with a remix from Xiamen-based artist Knopha.

Joe Smooth’s 1987 house anthem 'Promised Land' is arguably one of the most recognizable records of its time. While touring in Europe with Farley 'Jackmaster' Funk, Joe Smooth noticed the growing popularity of house music across the continent. Inspired by his love for Motown records, he wrote a track that expresses themes of positivity and inclusion, resonating with ravers worldwide. This record is an essential addition for ravers and music lovers alike—it's a significant piece of history now available once again on LP, and also includes the previously unreleased and forgotten gem from '87, 'Inside My Mind', which has now been dug from the vaults and remastered for this new pressing. This version is only available for RSD, on 'dove white' vinyl, in celebration of the title track and house anthem, Promised land.
