Mick Jenkins, lyrical hip-hop mastermind and Chicago's Finest, returns with the album "The Patience." He chose to title it "The Patience" because it was that patience that he needed to get to the point in his career where he is now.

Waiting to get free from a label that didn't share his vision was very frustrating, especially since he had to consciously hold back his musical gems in order to release them in collaboration with a partner and team that believed in his art and supported him in his vision for his music.

During this time, Mick worked on his upcoming amazing body of work that has evolved into something very special. Mick at times compares himself to a star chef, brewing up lyrics, seasoning each line to perfection. The album is bursting with offbeat rhymes, sophisticated grooves and complex metaphors. On 'The Patience', the artist shows in an impressive way that he is one of the best in his genre.

Money Man (Born: Tysen Jay Bolding), famous with the name, Big Money, was born in New York, but raised in Decatur, Georgia. MR. COMPLEX is a veteran MC from NYC, Polyrhythm Addicts and many classic records since 1995. He drops his first 7” record: “I’m Ready” featuring Dres, from Black Sheep and El Fudge from the Rawkus era b/w “Commercial Rap”. Production is from a new undiscovered producer MORTAL 1.
“I’m Ready” is a high energy track with sharp heavy lyrics redefining why their presence is still needed. The B side “Commercial Rap” is a vintage Mr. Complex song where he references classic TV commercials with top notch wordplay. MR. Mr. Käfer and Phlocalyst are adding their own chapter to the saga with their collaborative album Now / Again to be released via Melting Pot Music. The vibe of the 12 tracks is chill. The kicks, snares and basslines are crisp but relaxed. Wrapped up in warm melodic layers and led by the distinctive sound of Phlocalyst's trumpet. The Flemish producer grew up in Ghent and relocated to Munich where he plays in a classic orchestra - a rather uncommon day-job for a lofi producer with more than 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Mr. Käfer was born in Salzburg – the hometown of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Crack Ignaz – to an Austrian mother and an Algerian father. Today he lives in Cologne. In his music he fuses influences from boom-bap to jazz to traditional North-African music. The album artwork was created by Cologne-based artist Giza One.

Los Angeles alternative hip hop pioneer Myka 9 of Freestyle Fellowship is releasing the classic and critically acclaimed album 1969 on 12’ vinyl for the first time ever via Fake Four Inc.
Originally released on Fake Four Inc. in 2009, the album is a fan favorite with featues by heavy-hitting names such as Busdriver, Aceyalone, Awol One, and Gel Roc, plus production across the record handled exclusively by Factor Chandelier. Upon its release, the album received praise from L.A. Record, Okayplayer, Exclaim!, Hip Hop Core, Rap Reviews, URB, East Bay Express, and IGN where it earned 9.7 out of 10 stars.

Los Angeles alternative hip hop pioneer Myka 9 of Freestyle Fellowship is teaming up with Canadian producer Factor Chandelier for an extremely limited new 7’ release of their forthcoming record together, PIMP (People Into Making Progress).
The 7’ release of PIMP will follow up Fake Four’s reissue of Myka 9’s classic album 1969 on LP for the first time ever. Myka 9 has collaborated with Busdriver, Daddy Kev, Abstract Rude, Blue Sky Black Death, Aceyalone, Awol One, Gel Roc, and countless others, and some of his most notable work has been produced exclusively by Factor Chandelier.

To this day "Ether" is considered one of the best and most potent diss tracks ever recorded, a major turning point in the Nas/Jay-Z feud, a standout among the already critically acclaimed Stillmatic, and is even credited with boosting Jay-Z's career by proxy.

D Double E & Footsie the Newham Generals return to Butterz with archive material following up their 2015 drop 'Scars'. Frontline is an unreleased Grime classic from 2005 that comes from the versioning era of Grime, where MCs would all do their take on the same instrumental. Humpty Dumpty, is a lower profile unreleased banger that has been unearthed for the first time since 2006. War Wid and Prangman are two forgotten Grime classics that saw short run vinyl releases back in 2004, but have long been out of print. This release marks 10 years of Butterz the label, and begins a run of a new slew of 12"s to come out through the remainder of 2020 and 2021.

Pink Friday is the debut studio album by Nicki Minaj. It was released on 22nd November, 2010 by Young Money, Cash Money and Universal Motown. After signing a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment in 2009, Minaj began planning the album that same year and work continued into 2010. Minaj enlisted a variety of producers whose efforts resulted in a primarily hip hop record, which sees additional influences from R&B and pop music. The album features guest vocals from Eminem, Rihanna, Drake, will.i.am, Kanye Westand Natasha Bedingfield. Now available on 180gm black vinyl.

Fake Four Inc. is releasing a special limited press of ‘Tantrum,’ the fulllength album by mysterious MC Nigel. Executive produced by underground rap staple Onry Ozzborn , the project features Aesop Rock, Nxick, Mr. Dibbs, Sapient, NyQwil and Nigel’s cousin Lil Pippy.
Talking to Hip Hop DX, Onry Ozzborn explains: ‘While touring Central Europe last year, we stayed at a plum farm in East Prague on one of our days off. There, I met a young jackalope named Nigel who just so happened to have ‘a wicked rap or two if I do say so myself,’ as he put it. I was very impressed with his skillset and offered to help him put together a debut effort when I returned to the States. As soon as I was back, I went right to work and reached out to Zavala, Rain, Smoke M2D6 and Bird Diver to handle production.
