* The long awaited re-press of the Alvin Davis, ‘My Homeland’, track is now available again. Sax/Hornz instrumental track and features top Jamaican Hornzman, Alvin Davis. The B side has a heavyweight Dub version from Alien Dread.
Alvin is also well known ref Jazz and other musical areas, as well as Reggae and has worked with many Jazz, Soul and mainstream artists including: Andy Hamilton, Rose Royce, Prince, Edwin Starr, The Foundations, Neville Staples (Specials & Fun Boy Three), Jackie Graham, Nigel Kennedy and Reggae-wise, Alton Ellis, Macka B, Maxi Priest and David Hinds (Steel Pulse) and many others.

In 2019, Susan Cadogan's first live performance in Italy with Magnetics will be released on LP! The album includes the chart-topping "Hurt So Good," produced under Lee Perry, Jump Up! and features hits from her 48-year career, including the 2017 comeback track "Take Me Back," which garnered a great deal of attention upon its release on the label, and "My Oh My," a duet with The Magnetics that sold out immediately after its 7-inch release. It was an unforgettable night of performances of the greatest hits of her illustrious career.

Formed in 2017 by the frontman OLLY RIVA. The Magnetics sound is a mix of vintage Jamaican sounds including SKA from the 60s, Rocksteady, early Reggae, but all in a Soul and Rhythm N Blues setting.

This 7" include Queen's cover "Love of My Life" and original ska tune "Genie of The Lamp".

A lovely selection of mixes from Paolo Baldini’s Dubfiles, all mixed
at his Alambic studio in San Foca Italy. The vocal is supplied by Al Brown and music is from his band from the 80s the Inner Force.

There are 3 rumbling dubs as well as the opening vocal cut from
Al Brown. We have added some keyboard action from Toike Mitsuhiro.

The best of the traditional elements of Jamaican music, with modern mixing, and all done with a strong sense of respect towards
the original recording and playing. Comes in a custom Pressure Sounds sleeve.

Following her triumphant album 'Version Girl', Rhoda Dakar is back with another fabulous cover of ''I Don't Mind', originally recorded by Buzzcocks. As always the beautiful artwork has been created by Sheffield's finest Pete McKee.

Killer mid '80s 'live digital' tune made at Aquarius Studio, released for the first time ever. A rarity to get Dunkley on this type of rhythm, this one was great to unearth.

We are pleased to introduce our new single coming out on 16th of February featuring ever productive Guiding Star Orchestra eleven-man roots reggae ensemble from Copenhagen, Denmark and young, upcoming, Jamaican roots Artist Azizzi Romeo (son of legendary Max Romeo) on “In Jah Sight” riddim. Coming out on both vinyl and as a high quality digital release.

The song contains conscious lyrics on top of a meditating steppas riddim with beautiful arrangements from GSO horn section and includes an amazing dub version made by the great Roberto Sanchez from A-Lone Ark Music Studio. Two wicked collaborations on both sides of a heavy slab of 7” record!

The song is an uplifting statement about putting trust in your faith. “When thirst cover your mouth, Jah will send the Rain!” A strong message from a young Artist who’s ready to take over the world of conscious roots reggae music. This is the first time Orchestra has done a collaboration with a vocalist and we have many more collaborations planned for the future as well as some brand new solo material coming this year. Conscious lyrics on this lesser known Yabby track. Never before pressed on 45 and comes with the correct version on the flipside. Comes in a printed Yabby bag. Tommy McCook on flute Sly and Robbie on rhythmic duties.

The A side contains the track “Forever”, featuring Nikolaj on melodica duties, who delivers deeply meditational melodies reminiscent of the great Augustus Pablo. This melodica version is performed over the “Always” riddim, sang by Clive Hylton on our previous 7” release (ALDBS7017).

On the B side we find the track “Forever Dub”, a dub version mixed live by Ojah that takes us into a world of modulations that range from the subtle to the extreme.

20th anniversary, first time reissue of Dubkasm & Ras Addis 'Strictly Ital' and the B side 'Hornsman Trod' - originally out in 2003 on Sufferah's Choice (now known as Dubkasm Records), hand distributed around the UK, and never repressed due to loss of original vinyl stampers - now remastered by Lewis at Stardelta and cut to 12" at Optimal and sounding great as ever, 20 years on.

Lovingly compiled, this album features only the finest Lovers from Jamaica’s finest label. From Blues parties in London, Birmingham, Bristol etc Lovers Rock quickly became one of the UK’s finest-ever musical movements.

Sweet harmonies, soulful reggae, love songs – the key ingredients of Lovers Rock - were all based on the revival of many of the classic Rocksteady harmony groups of the late 60's and early 70's, such as The Heptones, Carlton and The Shoes, Larry & Alvin, The Paragons, that Clement "Sir Coxsone" Dodd’s Studio One and rival Duke Reid’s Treasure Isle label produced hit after hit with as they fought for dominance in the dancehalls of Kingston.

As well as these classic harmony groups, this album also features fine contributions from many of the reggae greats – Horace Andy, Alton Ellis, Bob Marley and The Wailers, Delroy Wilson – All artists who became stars at the legendary Studio One Records which Chris Blackwell, founder of Island Records, describes as "The University of Reggae".

The album features fine vocal tracks & heavyweight instrumental Sound System style dub style tracks.

signature use of crate digging, live instrumentation, and swirling electronics.

Balearic textures, and the jazz tinged sound of Nik Turner’s (Hawkwind) saxophone.

Created at legendary producer Martin ‘Youth’ Glover’s Space Mountain Studios in the suitably epic, yet idyllic, mountains of southern Spain,

Youth, acting as production supervisor, brought his own unique feel to the album, adding warbling arpeggios and a modern aesthetic to the classic sound of The Irresistible Force.

This Sly And Robbie New Roots Riddim has been mashing up dances all over the UK and Europe for the last 4 months by two of the UK Champion Roots Sound Systems: Channel One And Iration Steppas.

Introducing ‘Dad Bod Dub', a 4-piece live dub band cooking up tunes from the deep forests of South Western Australia. Expect heavy basslines, skank-worthy guitar riffs, and infectious rhythms that will transport you to a dub paradise. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Eurythmics 'Sweet Dreams', released in 1983. Dad Bod Dub celebrates this and transforms this 80s hit to their dubbed out world of groovin moody goodness. Their first vinyl release, a hypnotic dub version of 80's hit Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics features the soulful vocals of Zed Fields, reminiscent of Fat Freddy's Drop's singer, Dallas Tamaira. On the B side is 'Experimental Sounds', a funky dub instrumental with haunting melodica and bubbling bongos.

Dub-Stuy’s riddim series is a nod to tradition with a modern twist, with the label teaming up a producer with different vocalists to voice a single riddim.

The latest entry in the series comes from French producer Von D who crafted the Saga riddim exclusively for this occasion, a weighty steppers piece featuring guitar, keys, and horns. The riddim is paired with vocal turns from reggae singers Chukki Starr, Chezidek, and Jah Mason who each bring their own unique stylings to the riddim, riffing on uplifting messages of unity in the face of oppression.

As always the release includes the instrumental version, this time with a dub twist from Von D. Mastered by Bristol legend Joker.

A producer with multiple aliases and projects, the sound wizard behind world recognized mastering studio Jammin Masters and brother of Khan, owner of the legendary New York record store and record label Temple Records. Cem Oral, the aforementioned, raised in Germany by a Turkish father and a Finnish mother, heavily influenced by Jamaican dub and electronic music pioneers, began his career at a tender age playing with four-track recorders and synthesizers, juggling between collaborations with many pop music stars, or as sound-designer of film soundtracks, and in underground solo or group projects, writing some of the most beautiful pages of German and European alternative music in general. At the same time since 1993, he has mastered over forty thousand tracks for countless prominent artists and labels. "Never Been On E" as Oral Experience is definitely an odd release if you know La Bella Di Notte catalog, but probably one of the most representative of his own vision. The reissue comes courtesy of Cem Oral and fully restored by none other than himself.

The EP called "Primitivism Masks" leads a synergy between the electronic matrix and the darkest Dub textures. Irregular rhythms will be perceived, accompanied by various pulsating bass riff and frenetic percussions, of African derivation.
