‘FAIXA’ is the eponymous debut LP from rural Valencian group FAIXA, emerging from a desire to fuse their curiosity for electronic sounds with experiences of living immersed in the folklore that resonates through the Valencian regions of l’Alcoià and el Comtat.
This atmospheric album speaks to a sound not often heard in the wider Spanish electronic music scene, but reminiscent of other modern revivals of traditional music fused with electronic sounds across Spain right now.
The sound of the album is a constant dialogue between the roots and the future of Valencian generations; traditional vocalists play an essential role in connecting oral traditions such as the “cant de batre” and marches of the “moros i cristians” with leftfield electronic, influenced by sounds typical of dubstep, jungle, or footwork. This historical quality resonates profoundly through songs where vocalists Noelia Llorens “Titana”, Carles Dénia, and Josep Aparicio “Apa” act as channels to a new sonic dimension of traditional music, where the classical and the modern intertwine.
Receiving great feedback across the country in a short period of time, FAIXA’s unique approach to electronic music has gained them mentions and interviews on national and local radio & TV.

Om Unit’s ‘Acid Dub Studies’ series continues to unfold. This latest instalment of the project comes in the form of 10 brand new remixes which form the second volume of ‘Acid Dub Versions’, featuring remixes from Yushh (Pressure Dome/Wisdom Teeth), Hodge (Houndstooth / Livity Sound), Double O (Rupture), Amy Kisnorbo (Pineapple), Tapes (Jahtari / Good Morning Tapes) V.I.V.E.K (System), Versa (System / ZamZam), Frenk Dublin (Echo Ltd. / Dub Communication), Surgeon’s Girl (Inside Out / Livity Sound) and Nadia Struiwigh (Nous’Klaer Audio / Central Processing Unit)
The eclectic ‘Acid Dub Versions II’ LP comprises of the smouldering cerebral scapes of Yushh’s take on ‘Camo’ as well as Hodge’s own pounding club version. Double O transforms the classic ‘Tempo’ rhythm into a kind of future-retro rave stepper, and Amy Kisnorbo walks the ‘Strange Brew’ track into a eased-back but confident new territory.
The dub aspects are also enforced and re-shaped by prolific legend ‘Tapes’ who turns the ‘Tempo’ back towards it’s more dancehall roots, V.I.V.E.K takes the Bristol Theme in to 140 territory featuring System Sound’s in-house MC Dego Ranks. Bristol’s own enigmatic dubwise adventurer Versa turns ‘Valium Tempo’ into something akin to a Cosmic Bridge release, paying homage to the classic tropes of the ‘UK Bass’ sound and Rotterdam’s Frenk Dublin turns in a seriously deep basic channel-esque dub tech take on ‘Ghosts’
The album is finished with 2 ambient cuts featuring the beautiful chaos of Surgeon’s Girl’s remix of ‘Tapped’ and the Dusky brooding reflective tones of Nadia Struiwigh’s version of ‘Electroacidspringwater’.
‘Acid Dub Versions II’ serves as a logical progression to Om Unit’s best-selling series of well-respected works, allowing for community input on a concept which has of late been travelling far and wide via Om Unit’s live shows and continued DJ support.

Four years since her last dancefloor 12", upsammy returns with a four-track exploration of gleaming, sprightly drum and bass with a restorative centre. Thessa Torsing's moves in upper tempo zones have been defined by her light touch, finding power and presence in finely chiseled sounds and sculpting space between intricate, interwoven rhythms.
The dynamic movement of her pristinely moulded percussion is absolutely geared up for the club, but it's also matched with an uplifting, meditative sound palette which tempers the busy energy of the drums. Pushing and pulling on her arrangements with ever-increasing expressiveness and revelling in the subtlest of modulations to her kinetic beat systems, upsammy proves once again that moving in time to fast music can be an incredibly restorative experience.

Marina Herlop is often described as a pianist, a lingering remnant of her classical training. But what strikes the listener on Herlop’s breakout track miu is the intricate trickery of her voice, tracing rhythmical clusters around the subtlest of musical beds, in a technique inspired by Carnatic music of Southern India.
miu, the opening track of Herlop’s new studio album Pripyat, was among the first songs that the young Catalan artist made on a computer, after two albums – 2016’s Nanook and 2018’s Babasha – that brought spectral elegance to the sound of piano and voice. This spirit of adventure continues into Pripyat, Herlop’s first full album produced on a computer, and her most intensely emotional work to date.
Listening to Pripyat you can feel the emotional toil and creative endeavour that went into the record. Fans of Nanook and Babasha will recognise the combination of melancholic piano and elegant vocal lines that is found on Pripyat tracks like abans abans. But Pripyat has a far fuller, almost chaotic sound when compared to Herlop’s previous work, with the addition of electronic drums, electric bass lines and a wealth of sublime production effects.

The "Birth" remixes breath new life into Madison Willing's debut album, as COIDO, Ehua, Sinistarr, Synkro, and Itoa each add their unique sonic signatures to the project. These reinterpretations expand on the album's emotional depth, infusing it with fresh rhythms, textures, and dynamic energy. Picking up where "Máquina de Vénus" (Blacksea Não Maya) left off, this is now 100% DJ Kolt at the controls. Slow, grinding power tools working their way across the complex web of ideas the producer lays down. Truly a next level thing, taking elements from recognized styles such as tarraxo, EDM, even trap, bending their accepted signifiers to suit his own creative mind instead of the crowd pleasing monster that constantly haunts Dance Music. Here we find a wonderful, twisted approach to the dancefloor, one heavy on brain activity, fantastically moody, showcasing music that we long ago quit trying to define.
"Despertar" (again) changes the game, adding secret doors and pathways previously unheard and unthought of. This right here is the mark of a unique producer. You'll have a hard time trying to compare Kolt with any other artist on Príncipe, much less on the outside world. A keen sense of groove filters through all tracks, the dance is never forgotten but you know there are certain demands - you can't just expect a straight line to "a good night out", there's an effort required, you'll have to reach out as well so you can let loose and connect with the universal Master Plan.
The album is all made up of liquid transitions as much as rock-hard foundations, perfectly capable of being explicit when honouring the roots but so committed to a new stance that one may feel thrown off balance by the sheer genius of

The next release from 29 Speedway is Break, the new EP from NY’s Relaxer, the long running alias of Daniel Martin-McCormick (Black Eyes, Ital and co-founder of Dripping), and it signals a decisive shift in his music. The tape features two remixes by the singular DJ Marcelle.
What happens when dubby drum & bass meets Dischord’s post-punk colossus Black Eyes? “Break” is the new EP from NY’s Relaxer, the long running alias of Daniel Martin-McCormick (Black Eyes, Ital and co-founder of Dripping), and it signals a decisive shift in his music.
Prompted by friends to write a drum & bass live set just as Black Eyes was reuniting, the results didn’t quite fit the d&b genre. But it felt right. Quick, nimble, with room for the ferocity of his favorite post punk and some of the spaciousness of dub. Evergreen vibes, really, but seen from a fresh perspective.
Honed over a period of two years, the five tracks on “Break” fuse Relaxer’s careening, technoid sounds with free jazz-tinted drum programming, snarling sound design and spacious echo trails. It’s a perfect fit for 29 Speedway’s future-facing, exploratory anti-genre approach to electronics. The tape features two remixes by the singular DJ Marcelle and mastering by Dubplates & Mastering.

Beat Machine Records is excited to introduce Terra Tempo, a groundbreaking music catalog that redefines the boundaries of global sound by blending the rich traditions of cultural music with the dynamic energy of modern club beats. Each release is an immersive journey that celebrates and reimagines the heritage of various cultures, bringing their unique sound traditions into the contemporary music landscape..
The debut album from Terra Tempo is "Beyoglurush" by Freedjom (Özgür Haznedar), an Istanbul-born, Berlin-based producer. This album is a captivating fusion of footwork, juke, and breakbeat rhythms infused with the sounds of traditional Turkish instruments like the darbuka, bendir, and def. These rhythms are inspired by the vibrant street music culture of Beyoğlu, a historic district of Istanbul known for live, organic musical expression.
At the heart of "Beyoglurush" is the essence of Istanbul itself. This album isn’t just about rhythms—it’s about the emotion behind them. Freedjom captures the energy, the blend of old and new, and the sense of mystery that defines the city. The combination of traditional Turkish percussion with fast-paced, contemporary electronic beats creates an atmosphere that’s both electric and intimate, as if you’re standing at the crossroads of centuries of culture, feeling the pulse of the city as it hums around you.
Freedjom also draws inspiration from Turkish poet Attilâ İlhan’s famous work "Sisler Bulvarı" (Boulevard of Mists), a piece known for its melancholy and vivid imagery. The poem’s reflective nature is woven into the album, adding emotional depth to the rhythms and melodies. As the syncopated beats race forward, they’re met with a sense of longing and nostalgia, evoking the sensation of wandering through a foggy Istanbul night caught between the past and the present.
“Beyoglurush” channels the raw, magnetic energy of Beyoğlu’s street music, blending its organic, percussive elements with fast-paced, syncopated grooves. The footwork-inspired rhythms are complemented by the traditional sounds of Istanbul, creating an immersive sonic experience that feels both modern and timeless. Freedjom’s production invites listeners to lose themselves in the beats as if carried away under a starlit Istanbul sky.
With “Beyoglurush,” Terra Tempo begins its mission to celebrate global cultural heritage through music. Blending traditional sounds with contemporary club rhythms, the label makes cultural music accessible and relevant to today’s audiences. This debut album bridges past and present, inviting listeners to explore the richness of cultural diversity through modern beats.

All The Hits is the speedy follow up to Myriad Myriads’ debut album, Shardcore (released on Trilogy Tapes in September 2024). 200 vinyl pressed. Myriad Myriads was FKA Bass Clef. Wrong Speed Records have released two albums by Bass Clef (the 2020 limited vinyl reissue of 2011 cassette Inner Space Break Free and 2021 album Magnetic Chapters). Both organic and beautiful, both differing takes on electronic dancefloor - from 70's Germany, late 80's UK, and 90's Detroit. Myriad Myriads closed out the 2024 Wrong Speed Fest Weekender in the back room of a rowdy pub in Glastonbury (real Glastonbury, not Pilton). To watch up close and see the physicality was rapturous, to hear this music at volume positively transformative. All The Hits, recorded in Myriad Myriad's hometown of The Hague, Netherlands, is Carl Stone meets Sonz Of A Loop Da Loop Era. Carl Cox meets Harmonia. It's a headphone monster. Through a PA it will destroy. At home it's a living room shuffle, a synapse burster. It's a privilege for us to somehow be in the position to release records by Myriad Myriads / Bass Clef. We've known him for a long time. He's remixed a couple of Hey Colossus tunes. Check out the recent Patrick Cowley/Jorge Socarras covers 12" You Laugh At My Face on State 51 Conspiracy. His 22-minute-long reworking is a masterpiece. We love to be connected. We love Wrong Speed Records switching from Part Chimp to Myriad Myriads and on to Deep Cabaret via Jacken Elswyth. All come from the same place, if you feel it you know. This is our record collection

Yogg announces his own imprint Polarized Future.
Decomposing synth work and percussion, the new label takes aim at grain and layered sound design as a means of exploration through obscure soundscapes.
Marking the crosspoint between seemingly opposed club genres has been a focus of Yogg’s since his first EP in 2016, so it feels appropriate that the first record of Polarized Future embodies that sound. When textural and ambient experiments become the center of the sound, code-breaking rhythmic work is a subtlety, rendering ‘Exercise in Tragedy’ at its simplest a cold and moody batch of steppers.

Bruce is back!! Unveiling his new label Poorly Knit with two warped club creations on 7" vinyl... In Bruce we trust.
Hessle Audio and Timedance alumni Bruce, is cast out of the heavens following his dream-pop-heartbreak excursions, coiling back to the mortal and old faithful dance floor once more.
Fallen in fury, he treads alone on his new imprint, Poorly Knit, lashing out with two twisted and tangling tracks, The Price & Mimicry. Obscure sound design and unhinged samples are stitched into bass-bin-devastating rhythm and melody, cementing and serenading the burial of all DJs brave enough to step up.
Cut to small but deadly hand-stamped 7”, each side taunts a different flavour of his snickering, singular, soundsystem homecoming.
A true and ever-evolving artist, Bruce welcomes us back into his brave new world once again, a wholly refreshing release to start the year, and the new chapter has only just begun…

On the Mixbone EP, two tracks from Eric Copeland’s 2017 record Goofballs get reworked by five of leftfield electronic music’s heaviest hitters. The Goofballs LP finds the Black Dice founding member conducting hectic, dancefloor-oriented experiments; The Vinyl Factory called it a “mangled, spangled journey into the fringes of industrial disco and hallucinatory club tackle.” Mixbone capitalizes on this direction with remixes that recontextualize and reshape the propulsive energy of the original songs into wholly different forms.
New York techno powerhouse and Allergy Season boss Physical Therapy contributes two aptly named takes on “Mixer Shredder” – the “Tegel Mix” churns with industrial EBM low-end, and the breakbeat and wubby bassline make the “Gatwick Mix” unmistakably English. NHK yx Koyxen remixes Eric for the second time, with a jittery and woozy electro interpretation of “Neckbone.” Cooper Saver, best known for his Far Away parties in Los Angeles, turns in one of the most unexpected remixes, keeping it 4/4 and creating what sounds like Shep Pettibone making acid house.
Coming off of her 2017 EP on Technicolour/Ninja Tune, Machine Woman decided to remix both tracks. With “Neckbone,” she adds a barely-discernible robotic narrative vocal, allegedly about Ryan Gosling. “Mixer Shredder,” on the other hand, travels from hissy lo-fi techno into something quite tranquil and beautiful. And with previous releases on 1080p, Freakout Cult, and Wania, Vancouver’s LNS channels the melodic electro tones of classic Bleep-era Warp, like a lost track from LFO or Drexciya.
“Danceable” might not be the first word one thinks of when describing Eric Copeland’s solo releases. But in a manner not dissimilar to the way Black Dice shaped the parameters of experimental music, the remixes here expand the limits of what the club can and should look like.

True Sneaker Social die-hard Etch returns with a monumental new album. Scream of the Butterfly shows the depth and breadth of one of the illest producers operating across the many spheres of club music with a distinct “you ‘kay?” slant.
From the moment the low-end pressure and loaded samples rear their heads on the opening track, Zak Brashill demonstrates his intent to sculpt Scream Of The Butterfly as a proper album — an end-to-end listening experience full of peaks and troughs which focus on sonic storytelling much more than club functionality. Throughout his imperious output to date, the man like Etch has displayed an affinity for sound design to match his instinct for what bangs on the spectrum of dubstep, garage, jungle and hip-hop, but now he’s gone postal on soundworld-building, with a grip of heavyweights drafted in to help set the scene.
Fellow Sneaker alumnus J-Shadow lends his maverick footwork science to ‘Star Fallen’, while UK rap anti-royalty Lee Scott brings his unmistakable Runcorn drawl to dusky head-nodder ‘Not Surprised’. UK bass-synth-ambient enigma E.M.M.A drops in for the moody, meandering midpoint ‘Stepford Lives’, and Killa P and Emz deliver blazing bars to the double dose of ‘Prayer Wheel (Left You Fi Dead)’ and ‘Heat Map’ respectively.
Elsewhere Brashill follows his own razor-sharp instincts into warping stop-start drum science, widescreen downtempo with teeth, seasick synth studies, moody-but-cosy 140 and lots more besides. Nothing comes as standard, but Scream of the Butterfly is ruff when it wants to be, subtle and spacious if the vibe demands it, and consistently packed full of the detail and intrigue that we’ve come to expect from one of the most inventive and reliably sick producers in the contemporary bassweight firmament.

Comprised of nine pulsing and explorative productions, including one digital-only bonus track, Iridescent is a masterful and quietly nuanced excursion through contemporary dance music, one that sees Pugilist & Pod cultivate a unique and timeless sound of their own that varies tremendously in form, shape, and texture.
Totemic in its imaginative scope, Iridescent offers listeners a truly immersive experience that will blissfully wash over them in the safety of their own homes or take them in a transcendent grasp and guide them on a new journey through the club.

Starting us off is Panda Bear, who adds his trademark falsetto vocals and shuffling percussion, sweetening Eric’s black coffee beats. DFA’s own sonic collagist Larry Gus blends Eric’s mumbled vocals with bright percussion and a vocoded male choir, among many other audio dalliances.
Meanwhile, Hyperdub’s Fhloston Paradigm (AKA King Britt) takes aim with his laser cannons, firing volleys at unrelenting waves of marching alien armies, before being swallowed up in a solar flare. Finally, Anthony Naples (Text Records, Trilogy Tapes) brings it back to the club with snaps, claps, and hi-hats, but it sounds like you left ‘em out in the rear window of your car on a sunny day. You know what we mean.

5- Korrupted Brothers - Dark Holes

Meltface returns in “Melt In Unison,” another high-octane action comedy erotic thriller with four jaw-dropping scenes soundtracked by Rhyw. “Drool” is an underwater mutant-octopus romance that will change how you feel about tentacles forever. "Calippo" is a jungle romp that's part Apocalypse Now!, part Tropic Thunder, part Lethal Weapon 4, all white-knuckle intensity. “Greetings” is actually the intro but, for some reason appears as the third track.... don't worry about that. Main thing is it will rewire your DNA and change every fibre of your being in such a way that you'll actually pity the person you were in all the years you lived before you heard this track. This rollercoaster ride of thrills and chills ends with a bang: a face-off against the final boss, he whose name is said only in terrified whispers when it is said at all, the horrifying, twisted, slime/goo-coated final boss... “Lavalantula."
Some other stuff you should know about this record: this is the first time our guy Rhyw sang on his own music (initially), but then chopped up and pitched syllables from acapellas to match the recordings instead, if that makes sense. His actual voice features on the other three. Also two of the tracks came from his live set in case you care about that.
