Having re-written the dubstep rule book countless times with his ear-catching productions, Joker throws up a big, brazen, grimey re-rub with a speaker shattering bassline that blends effortlessly with stirring synth lines and rousing riffs.

Fully Licensed is a new dubstep label that has burst on the scene. It's already made waves in club land and it's also pissing off the neighbours. We don't know much about Krankie Frank but what we do know is he knows his frequencies and there'll be much more from this camp. Watch out!

The infamous Jacky Murder delivers the newest outing on his hugely popular Chopstick Dubplate imprint. As is always the case with Jacky, this is pure Jungle vibes and features one of the greatest deejays out of JA - the mighty Mad Cobra. Cobra's classic 'Gundelero'riddim has been re-mixed and re-vamped in a proper Jungle fashion with the skanking Reggae bassline being the perfect counterpart to the rolling Jungle drums. The usual sirens, rewinds and gunshots are all present and correct making this one of wickedest Ragga Jungle riddims to hit the streets for months.

Raised in the Parisian suburb with a background of multiple genres throughout her life : from rock and new-wave to electronic music such as synth-pop, minimal techno, jungle, house, disco and 90~s hip hop, Malilone's productions have helped express her influences and incorporate her emotion into the dubstep tempo we all love. Malilone production has seen support from producers like Matt-U, Von D and Bunzero as well as featuring in numerous DJ gigs from Paris to Berlin.

Punch Drunk, Bristol's esteemed electronic music imprint, celebrates it's 20th release with a strictly limited edition 12~ single. This double A-side is also the official debut release by shadowy Bristol-based experimental electronic musician Ekoplekz. As such, it represents something of a departure for the label, for here is an artist who shuns modern digital production techniques in favour of primitive analogue devices, lo-fi cassette recorders and a spontaneous, improvised approach to composition. Taking inspiration from 'Radiophonic' soundtracks, early dub reggae, krautrock and post-punk D.I.Y. experimentors like Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle and Robert Rental, Ekoplekz is intent on introducing a new generation to the kind of raw eruptions of sound that first gave birth to the UK's electronic underground over 30 years ago.

Hot off the back of his sexually charged XXX album which included the track 'Hot Raw Sex' of which Instra: mental provided one of many remixes, Jimmy Edgar has elevated the Nonplus catalogue with this superb two track 12'. a) Jimmy Edgar '+NXTLVLNXTLVL' Upon listening to this track it's obvious this guy oozes natural musical talent from every orifice. Jerky electro beats set the backing or playful chords and melodies and the odd bit of pitch bent Gfunkery, all spliced together with the trademark 'on the fly' sounding sequencing like he's played the whole track from start to finish off the top of his head. This is Jimmy Edgar doing what he does best and that is making raw music with his raw talent.
aa) Jimmy Edgar 'My Balance (Last Priority) - 'My balance' takes the tempo down somewhat and heres where the real sleaze begins. Wolf whistling synth lines, laid back bass and silky smooth drums merge into an orgy of aural pleasure. Think strip clubs, neon lights, and budget porn flicks and you'll be someway toimagining what this track sounds like. Perfect backing track for a night between the sheets with that special someone.

Silkie returns with his first release on DEEP MEDi since his much talked about solo album City Limits Vol.1. Without doubt Excision and his Rottun Recordings label have been one of the dubstep success stories of the last few years. From humble beginnings in British Columbia, Canada, to a worldwide fanbase comprised of thousands upon thousands of fans. Anyone who witnessed Excision destroy dancefloors in Paris, London, Bristol, Manchester and a host of other European cities on his recent tour will understand the effect his music is having around the world. EX7 is Rottun's sister label, and was home to one of Excision's most recognisable hits yet, the infamous 'Swagga' (produced alongside Datsik). Here Excision teams up with another member of the Rottun camp to create two incredible pieces of filthy dubstep. 'Heavy Artillery' features Messinian, one of the USA's most well known D&B and dubstep MCs. Taking the formula of using hip hop samples and turning it on its head with powerful original vocals that ignite the dance alongside some West Coast lead lines, this one is heavy on the hip!
Flip over and the gruesome twosome team up once more on 'Reploid', a gurgling bassline-led track complete with grinding syncopated synths and pounding beats. Both tracks featured heavily in Excision's sets during his recent EU/UK tour and will no doubt be flying off the shelves this winter.

Following his debut EP on PTN, 17 year old Icelander Hypno drops his second release on RAMP Recordings. Moving away from his Deep House and Funky leanings of his debut, Go Shorty lands directly in the middle of contemporary Bass music with Juke vibrations, while Sunkin treads a technoid wood-block path.

Radikal Guru is well known in the dubstep scene for his reggae-dubstep mash ups and unique sound influenced by dub originators such as King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry or Scientist. He gained popularity after releasing a series of vinyl singles on Dubbed Out records (UK) in 2008. First track on the record 'Kali' resembles orient vibe from Radikal Guru's first release 'The East-West Connection', but this time in the form of heavy, deep dubstep. 'Champion Sound' on the flip brings back Radical's classic style - union of roots reggae, dub and dubstep. Closing act of this EP - 'This Applies'- is brought to us by Cian Finn on vocals, known from Irish band Intinn. Between broken beats and low bass you will definitely fell the smoke...Sensi style!

Punch Drunk broadcasts two transmissions direct from the murky depths of the Bristol underground. Debut 12' from respected underground stalwart Superisk conjures shaolin indebted psychedelic visions of pathways through austere times. Mensah turns up the heat on the flipside, reimagining the original's melodics & infecting them with his signature robust high energy funk.

Tony Anthem and Axl Ender's Life took the dubstep world by storm earlier this year when it dropped on Rat Records' sister label, Sludge. Now this full-~~-on club anthem is back with a fresh package of remixes for all types of dancefloor. First up, Specimen A make with a remix that's full of driving, street-~~-smart booty flavour, making full use of Darry Dee and Skibadee's firing vocals from the original, but adding some serious breakbeat attitude. Watch how the drums switch up for the second half-this is next level business. There's also a radio edit thrown into the package for good measure. Next, London producer Erb & Dub takes things in a drum and bass direction, feeding breakneck drums, wobble bass and searing synths into the mix for a rapturous end-~~-of-~~- night floor filler. Finally, Florida badman Dustin Hulton takes things into full-on euphoria with sublime synth work andepic keys, before hitting us with the bass nfor maximum impact in the club.
