This might be the most old skool of old skool releases possible. The legendary Sublove, creator of some of the finest old skool hardcore in history, appears here on this luxurious double pack with four represses, one unreleased track and three epic remixes of his classics. The four represses are all distinctly Sublove in style, technical but heavy, and all have been lovingly remastered: Maniac Music, Drum And Bass Programme, She Moves and One By One make up the remastered represses, and a never before released version of One By One is a treasure form the archives.
Meanwhile, the remixers featured include two heavyweight hardcore artists, Liquid and Hyper On Experience, both of whom bring their customary and unique styles to the proceedings. And rounding off the EP is new artist Mannik on the remix of Drum And Bass Programme, giving it a darker, harder twist but keeping the original flavor. Simply put, this is one of the best 'new' old skool releases ever.

Having rounded off 2018 in style with his debut EP for the mighty METALHEADZ, FANU the beat manipulator opens 2019 with a bang. Marking the return of STRAIGHT UP BREAKBEAT - the 1st jungle / drum'n'bass label out of Finland established 1996 - FANU delivers two majestic pieces of music.

12-bit sits nicely at 155 BPM mark, sounding fresh and vintage at the same time. Smooth pads coupled with drum patterns only a select few can construct.
The double A-side steps into jazzier mode but makes sure not to fake the funk. Tight beats and a halftempo surprise at the end.

The Myor HQ are proud to finally welcome Percussive P to the family for the third installment of their LUV subseries. Whereas both tunes deal with heartbreak and other love life insecurities, Percussive P's number is definitely on a different vibe than Coco's slightly moody effort. The intro of 'Livin Without' is laced with scratch edits and vocal snippets, after which it drops into a neat little loop of pitched, male R&B crooning, only to morph into a somewhat quirky sounding 4x4 hardcore jam some two minutes in. Cute. Coco's 'Trust Issues' has a more serious sounding, wavy feel to it, not a million miles removed from what some might consider a 'liquid roller', albeit with a strong early/mid 90s breakbeat hardcore foundation, and a solid amount of tape saturation, giving the tune a nice and woolly vibe.

For that new split EP, we welcome two producers who like to surpass the usual frames of electronic music's styles. This EP should need no introduction to Ravers as often cited as an Anthem (whatever that means to you, to me that just means classic and good and still worth hearing any day again and again)."Baptised By Dub" was originally on World Beat Records with "Virtual Reality" on the flip side and later licensed to White House Records with other tracks and the totally different but equally awesome Re Baptised By Dub by DJ Halo. This Ravers favourite has never been reissued on vinyl in its original 4 track form. it did make it to a White House Classics series but only Baptised By Dub and not the greatest quality.According to DJ Spatts the DAT's were misplaced in the 90's and only unearthed again in 2014 when I searched the Warehouse. All CD licensed versions on compilations are allegedly a vinyl rip supplied by White House. These official DIGITAL remasters were issued to TCM Records as digital only. This is your first chance to get your hands on what will definitely be the best vinyl reproduction of this music since it's original release in 1992.

Madcap & Jaybee - Settle Down - Madcap and Jaybee team up to create the musical masterpiece called, "Settle Down". The song starts out rather jazzy, with it's smooth rhodes keys and heavy cymbal riding drum lines. When the song hits the breakdown, the whole tone of the tune changes. The punchy sub bassline is unleashed and becomes one of the driving forces of the track. Echoing reggae style vocals are beautifully weaved into the background of the track, transforming the vibe into a reggae/dub style D&B classic. The Amen drums also help to create an intoxicating energy that make this one a sure thing for dance floor mayhem. Instant classic!


Madcap - Hear Comes - "Hear Comes" takes over where "Settle Down" left off. The song begins with big amen drums, backed with a Reggae style skanking guitar chop. During the breakdown, a thoughtful Roots Reggae vocal sample is introduced that helps lift the track into a true Dubwise gem. When the drop hits, the baseline kicks in and begins to wobble and throb behind all the deep atmospherics. The track has a beautiful breakdown, which takes the listener to a more melodic place. After a moment of serenity, the song breaks back into the chaotic old school flavor, which Madcap does so well. This one's a beauty!!

Craigie Knowes' infamous fundraiser continues with a complete revamp. The double 12inch is replaced by two individual 12inch releases. Luke Vibert, DJ Overdose, Cygnus, TEXTASY, ASOK and London Modular Alliance join on CKNOW3-PT1 with a blend of Acid, Electro, Techno and Jungle sounds to help raise money for the charity War Child.

Myor Massiv & Diamond Life boss Coco Bryce returns to 7th Storey Projects once more with two ruff cuts on one neat little 10" plate!

Subtle Audio unveil their latest sub-division with the launch of 'Treaty Treats' - an imprint dedicated to beats originating in Limerick (aka the Treaty City) - the home of Subtle Audio. The first release features Subtle Audio head honcho Code and long time associate K3Bee with a track each. The label output will be mostly developed in their studio's but they'll be broadening the scope by collaborating with other artists / collectives based in Limerick as well as remixing other Irish acts across different genres.

London based Grime MC and Producer Jammz continues to build upon his I Am Grime Imprint, and once again caters to his instrumental fan base, with the instrumental release of Warrior 2 (on Vinyl only). Written and produced in 2017, this release stands to be the most well rounded body of work Jammz has released yet, and shows Jammz's growth and development as one of Grime's most promising mainstay producers. In recent years Jammz has managed established himself as a very sought after producer, with previous releases such as Keep it Simple & the world being underground favourites (of both fans and DJ's) which have managed to remain in rotation even today. Once a part of 2014's 'pirate radio renaissance', Jammz has also managed to infiltrate his way into the playlists of DJ's such as Sir Spyro & Logan Sama (amongst others) who always have a Jammz instrumental to hand. Yes - I Am Grime is the label, however Jammz takes this opportunity to explore the boundaries of Grime, playing with a range tempos and influences on this EP, with music ranging from 130BPM to 150BPM. Songs like 'Everything Dead' nod to Jammz's Jamaican and British influences, with minimal weighty baselines and vocal stabs, whilst songs like the 'Intro' and 'Interlude' see Jammz experiment with the idea of Grime without drums or percussion. B side tracks like "Set You Free' and 'Play That' nod back to an earlier era of Grime and Garage; with simplistic brass-backed riffs and vocal chops. Additional production credits come from the likes of Sebastian Sartor, Bristol favourites Joker and New York Transit Authority, USA's Collapsing Scenery and Jack Dat who also has his production hat on for the occasion. Over the last 3 Years Jammz has spent his time building his I Am Grime Imprint, which is fast building a reputation for releasing sought after releases. With a newly announced Rinse FM residency and a brand new line of merchandise - it's safe to say Jammz isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
