Acts like Legion & Logam have been pivotal for bringing the Ram Records sound transatlantic. Becoming the first US act into break their renowned roster, the trio have time and time again delivered hard-driving riddims and melodic rollers for Ram's sought after compilation series and their genre defining sister labelProgram. However, this time they've recieved their first standalone single on Ram, which is set to establish them as an even more integral part of drum & basses expansion throughout America. From the tearaway success of 'House of Cards', their first single on Program, to the release of 'Coming Home / When Stars Fall' on Ram Records, Legion & Logam are continuing their meteoric ascent. Following the same carefully strung melodies and voice overtures which has become a signature for the production outfit, 'Coming Home' takes you on a heartfelt journey underpinned by its tightly knit composition. A wavering bassline pitches between each signature of eight, helping to create a more driving force perfect for the dancefloor and bolstering the mix, whilst keeping its softer touch with 'House of Cards' Adam Wrightreturning on vocals.

On the flipside 'When Stars Fall' featuring Wendy Johnson follows the same vibe, with intricately layered instrumentals helping to set out a journey which flips between more percussive elements and well-orchestrated breakdowns. Each segment builds on the next until you're once again left with a record which exemplifies the producers' stellar song writing ability. Together both tracks help to pedestal an act whose versatility can be seen across each addition to Program, and now Ram's, vast back catalogue. Legion & Logam's story on Ram has only just begun - with more releases scheduled for the coming year, it's an exciting time for US drum & bass and its growth.

PRAYER blurs the lines between sorrowful sounds and high-voltage club energy in VITAL; a piece of art that refuses to be boxed off by genre or stereotype.

Opener FEAR explores the producers love of film music; a dark sci-fi landscape punctuated with drums and melodic synths, a Bladerunner-esque track. Moving on, A2 'I'M STILL HERE' is an anthem, a nostalgic mix of hardcore, jungle and classical influences with a DIY, rough and ready feel.

On the other side, PRAYER shows his talent for the piano with B1 - KIND, finessing the skills that reflect his first adventures in sound. It's an emotive, stripped back number. The final track is B2 - VITAL, another drum-heavy, weighty track that sounds only like PRAYER - as ideal for the club as it is for headphones

After gracing the Ram Records back catalogue with his addition to 'Ram Records Goes to Let it Roll EP 2.0', Sound in Noise is moving through the ranks alongside his first standalone single on RAM's definitive platform. A-side Duppy Bass begins with creeping atmospherics, and rolling breaks which make themselves gradually known. A smashing, jungle-esque drop and pumping drum patterns pull you deep into a reverberating, metallic bassline which pulses and stands out prominently against the mix. The added snipped up, distorted ragga samples only add to the dancefloor appeal against its throbbing stabs. The Estonian producer nods to the old-school whilst adding a new flavour with his incredibly powerful engineering, presenting himself as a hard-driving yet multi-faceted artist.
On the reverse, Sound in Noise presents the other side of his musicality with 'Rising Up'. Featuring female vocal talents and electronically tuned notes, it's vastly different from its forerunner but still hits just as hard with every stab of euphoric synth. Each layer of melody carries the track forward, providing you with the perfect soundtrack for a slowly diminishing summer. Together, Ram Records and Sound in Noise yet again push forward their commitment to drum & basses many dimensions, with both sides continuing to prove their longevity.

Osiris label boss Simon Shreeve delves further down the rabbit hole in his quest for a fresh new take on Drum & Bass, spiralling deeper into the thick atmospherics that have inspired his Techno, post punk productions. Dropping two abrasive explorations into menace-laden nocturnal rhythms. 'Beyond The Bounds' lays down off-kilter, intricate breakbeats, by way of Aphex over a jazz infused ambience, while 'Parallels' crashes and throbs its mutated way through dark percussive chambers with stretched-out stabs and futuristic atmospheres.

After thirteen years and over ninety releases, Med School has stacked the chairs and closed it's doors. As a final farewell to the label, the “Med School: Graduation” compilation celebrates the life of Hospital Records’ sister label, as well as the musicians and culture that defined it.

With 23 brand new tracks from label stalwarts such as Bop, Keeno, Etherwood and Whiney as well as the new blood that was always so important to the labels experimental output.

In Med School fashion, the album brings together a myriad of drum & bass stylings and beyond. From the microfunk movements of Bop to Illexandra’s warped emergency warnings, Lakeway’s upfront grime beats to the unique electronic musings of Frederic Robinson, A. Fruit and Kimyan Law.

Representing the serene side of Med School is Etherwood’s “Nowhere To Go But Everywhere”, alongside beautiful contributions from Keeno, Natus and Polaris. The tribal infusions of Royalston’s stepper “Mark’s Shibari Groove” and Lung’s technofused rabbit hole “Stop Crying” switch up the pace to reflect the breadth of Med School’s outputs. The compilation also calls back to the very beginnings of the label with a special VIP treatment of S.P.Y’s first release in the Hospital camp, MEDIC1 “Black Flag”.

Whiney not only brings in his deep new stepper “Close To You” but is also the man behind the continuous mix on the album, seamlessly bringing together all 23 tracks for one final salute to Med School Music.

Here we are with our 12th vinyl release. We're really proud of our back catalogue, and even prouder to be able to add more to it. And what better way to expand our portfolio than by inviting yet another exciting artist to join our 12" club. And this artist is Ricky Force - a man who's seen it all in the more breakbeat-oriented face of drum & bass, pushing his trademark intricate percussion programming since 1999, releasing quality music on labels such as Reinforced, Repertoire, Omni Music, Pinecone Moonshine, DSCI4 or 117, and now finding home with us.

Without further ado, here's Ricky Force and his latest single - a pair of not your usual 170-BPM masterpieces leaning heavier towards roots vibes, jungle, halfstep, and dub (Ricky's from DUBlin, so it makes total sense). "Ecstasy" starts with a looped vocal bit that leads the listener on towards a thick bush overgrown with full-bodied kicks, sharp, frantic breaks, and a bassline composed of massively booming bits that are bound to keep you on your toes, especially if you have the chance to enjoy it on some proper soundsystem.

"Firehouse Dub" is, in turn, a solid halfstepper strongly rooted in jungle revivalism. It marches slowly and steadily, unfolding some interesting stories on the way - a series of thickly-arranged broken beats, a pack of blares, some vocal bits here and there. Put together, they create an amazing mixture of classic sounds organized up to modern-day standards with surgical precision only Ricky Force is capable of. A true feast for all those into the less polished and more true-school shades of drum & bass.

Hugh Hardie's smooth moving, funk and soul-spirited drum & bass has been making waves since he signed exclusively to leading D+B imprint Hospital Records in 2014. The Cambridge-born turned Bristol-living producer has been a busy man since his popular 'City Soul' EP. Now his growing repertoire is only getting bigger with his highly anticipated debut long player 'ColourSpace' that's filled with liquid rollers, jazzy riffs and feel-good flavours.

Staying true to that funk and soul delivery are tracks 'Love Troubles' and 'She Moves' featuring up and comers GLXY with rising drums and full-bodied basslines. Another collaborative effort comes from Shogun Audio signees Pola & Bryson in 'Emerald City' with sweetening doubled-up melodies and lush liquid roll-outs.

Diving into deeper D+B spaces, 'Talk The Talk' and 'Closeness' bring a cosmic energy to the mix. 'Camera Obscura' ft Maverick Soul highlights Hugh's passion for percussions in parallel with 'Shades Of Blue' that touches on micro funk movements with clicky drums bringing a more minimalistic nature than Hugh's regular rhythms.

For several years, Hugh has been making regular appearances across Europe and the UK for the world-renowned events brand Hospitality and is no stranger to lighting up packed dance-floors no matter the venue size. This summer you can catch him drawing from his collection at Glastonbury festival, Secret Garden Party and Sun & Bass, to name a few.

Famous for producing some of the most fearsome drum & bass over the past 10 or more years, Germany's Misanthrop steps out to deliver his very first solo LP. Coming on his infamous Neosignal imprint which he runs with longtime partner in crime Phace, the self-titled long player is a production tour de force. Unhinged tear-out in places whilst leftfield in others, 'Misanthrop' will undoubtedly be slamming out sound systems the world over for a long time to come. 'My self-titled album 'Misanthrop' has been a labour of love, in the making for the past one and a half years. I've taken my trademark dark, edgy sound and tried to combine with more of my musical, more experimental tastes that an album allows you to do. The overall end result is a package that in my opinion is really cool to listen to and also artistically interesting to look at. It is very important to me to produce not only the music but all the physical attributes that are needed to release an album. This is what I've done for all my releases and it seemed logical to do it for my debut solo album on Neosignal Recordings.

Folding Citys debut on Through These Eyes is charged with exerting drum rhythms and high-energy movement throughout. The A-Side enthralls with psychedelic string plucks and silky smooth, even trance-inducing arrangement. Livid percussive movements, powdered with delays and tribal grooves, are creatively used - as well as haunting, emotive pads. 'Museling' is a different beast to witness, starting off with hypnotic arpeggios and taunting, grimy vocals, anticipating the impact. Swift hi-hats race along an intensely stomping bass-line, pervaded with gritty but fluid motion - resulting in extraordinarily energetic music.
