The fledgling Jackpot Recordings label is back with a second serving up club-ready goodness with Club of Jacks at the helm. There is a healthy dose of classic elements to these tunes - 90s vocals, deepness, soul - not least the opener 'Always' with its diva wails and balmy pads draped over nice silky drums with a majestic piano breakdown. 'Gorgon Dub' is a fat bottom house cut with mid-tempo drums and rigid percussion atop a dark bassline throb. 'Think Of You' is a warm and breezy one with loved-up pads and r&b vocal chops and 'Soundboy' gets more naughty with some garage-inspired drums and bass primed to pump the party.

Peter Ivanyi is Ghost Warrior, and it's an apt name for a producer who operates in the shadows between several drum & bass sub styles. His sophisticated sound designs and impeccable rhythms have taken him to the likes of 31 Records, re:st and The Collection Artaud but here he lands on regular home Well Street. 'Black Box' pairs deft drum programming with jazzy cymbals and blasts of textured bass, and 'REM' is then backlit with a celestial synth glow. Originally issued in 1996 and now re-pressed for the first time by A.R.X. and Krisis Publishing, Pressure of Speech ''Our Common Past, Our Common Future'' remains one of the best-kept secrets of 1990s British electronica. Founded by Mickey Mann, together with fellow explorers Luke Losey (lighting designer for Orbital) and DJ Stika (already part of Spiral Tribe), their elusive second album is an obsidian relic of screwed ambient techno, mutant breakbeat and hypnotic radical sounds excavated from the goldmine of the UK's post-rave underground.

Two decades into his winding voyage through music, culture and creativity, Tom Trago has become part of the densely woven fabric of the Dutch electronic scene - a producer, DJ, label owner, collaborator, remixer, radio host and DJ's DJ who is renowned not only for his impressive productivity, but also the genuine depth and variety of his work. While it was Trago's distinctive DJ sets that once grabbed headlines - he famously held residencies at renowned Amsterdam institutions Trouw and De School, and for a decade spent much of his time jetting between some of the most renowned clubs in Europe - in recent years Tom has cut down on appearances. Today, he chooses to be far more selective about where (and when) he DJs or performs live, often working with a handful of cherished venues and festivals while ensuring that his travels are sustainable and inspiring. Instead of the grind of touring and hedonistic night-time activity, Trago has chosen to focus on music-making, alongside semi-regular forays into radio broadcasting (NTS, Radio Radio, BBC Radio and EchoBox). He now spends most of his days producing and remixing at his new SR-3 studio in Alkmaar and his seaside home-come-studio in Bergen aan Zee. As part of these lifestyle and career changes, Trago took time to look deeper, not only inside himself, but also for musical inspiration. Tom has always loved, and devoted time to, digging into a wide variety of production styles, using this inspiration to develop a trademark personal production style, but in recent years he has taken it even further. Fuelled by a desire to challenge himself, Tom consistently tries new things in the studio while channeling all he's learned during a career that has moved forwards at breakneck speed. Since making his debut in 2006, Trago has released six critically acclaimed albums (two of which, the eclectic, beat-focused, career-spanning, Patta-released archive dive, 18, and the dancefloor excursion, Trembala, appeared in 2022); extensively worked with Dutch electronic music institutions Rush Hour and Dekmantel; collaborated with countless friends and contemporaries (Charlie Soul Clap, Awanto 3, Maxi Mill, Steffi, San Proper, Seth Troxler, and BokBok included); remixed artists including New Order, Carl Craig, Cassius, Tiga and Erol Alkan, and championed a swathe of fellow Dutch producers via the Voyage Direct label he founded in 2009. Formed by George Thompson, Kyle Martin and Jonathan Nash, Kommune were active between 2014-2015. As close friends living near each other, their musical journeys were intertwined; Nash and Martin had recently completed their debut album as Land Of Light, while Thompson (aka Black Merlin), at that time putting the finishing touches to his debut album ‘Hipnotik Tradisi’, was also working with Martin as part of the duo Spectral Empire. Sharing equipment and ideas, Kommune arose organically, serving as a creative outlet for exploring analogue machine music in an improvisational context.

Sessions in their North London studios led to a handful of gigs at venues including Hamburg’s legendary Golden Pudel and London’s LN-CC. This fleeting chapter of musical history may well have gone entirely undocumented had it not been for the fortuitous decision to meet up for a recording session in October 2014. Filling a car with their machines, they drove to a converted barn in the south of England, proceeded to set up, settle in and hit the record button. Over the course of two days, fuelled by the experiences of recent performances, the trio immersed themselves in the machines, crafting subtly evolving, long-form compositions with an enchanting balance and flow.

Across the four long-form compositions that make up ‘Oast’, the trio summons barely controllable scrapes, acid-like bubbles, and bleeps from their machines, leaning on dub mixing techniques to give the tracks a sense of depth, dynamism and organic ambience. Mastery of the TR-808 drum machine is central, with remarkably nuanced drum programming imparting a hypnotic rhythm to the work, allowing other elements to emerge and unfold at a beautifully measured tempo.

Recorded entirely live and improvised without any overdubs, ‘Oast’ offers a profound journey into minimalist electronic music while serving as a tribute to friendship, curiosity, and the spirit of experimentation.

Once again this Dutch artist shows us that his strength is pure Old School, a mixture of powerful bases, vocals, stabs and wonderful melodies with violins and piano to which he is already accustomed. This is "Lost in The Jungle"

Those in charge of opening this vinyl saga are "Fat & Blind" these two artists from Cádiz better known as "Deibeat & Shemma" with their track "Mother F .... Breakbeat" published by the label "Weekend Breaks" in 2000 , a track that became an anthem and continues to resonate at every party, now remastered for this occasion.

For years & years & years, I have been trying to get some solo music from Champa B on Future Retro London! This release has gone through so many different forms & iterations to try and accommodate getting him onto a release in some form & it's now finally here as a collaborative release with me.

I'm a huge huge fan of Champa B's tunes, especially his 93 darkside hardcore style that he previously done on releases for Modified Magic, Parallax Recordings & Green Bay Wax. I wanted so desperately to have him do some more music in that vein, but he was busy making other styles of music under his Grief alias as well as being busy with his day job to not really have the time for it.

But eventually, he was able to make some time for getting back into this style & we were able to do 2 collaborations and a solo tune each to get this done. Big thanks to him for his involvement in this release, hopefully not the last you'll see of his darker side!

Originally released in 1993 on DJ Phantasy’s Liquid Wax label, it has now been repressed in conjunction with Vinyl Fanatiks on coloured vinyl.

One of Phantasy’s most sought after releases from back in the day, engineered by Alex Reece in Jack Smooth’s studio.

As always with anything on Liquid Wax, these tracks are big club releases as Phantasy was testing them out at all the raves in the early 90’s. But Phantasy always has a trick up his sleeve that makes his music sound incredibly original and still fresh to this day, 31 years later!

DJ Traytex showcases in his debut release with the Back Then EP on Loser Records, his skill with ambient breaks, with light, glittering melodies that trip over deep basslines and punchy rhythms. This plate is about to welcome back one of the unsung heroes from the 45 Seven lands of dub, meditating with us from day one. Weather it may be about 4578's foundations of the rolling Dub Over Distance along the shuffly Dub Pacifico or the later forward lurking tribal jungles of Black Lake flipped by Lack Blake on 45719: Dub Across Borders always knows to amaze with both a contemplating deep inner focus of well laid-out hand-made instrumentation and vintage dubbing as well as refreshing ear-opening sounds and soul-pleasing vibes collected from all over the world, creating a very own sphere of what feels like some kind of ancient sci-fi riddim, rooting upwards to the phuture.

When sweating over a hot mixing desk and hoping for a fresh breeze, the roots of Come Rain were laid in a form of bassdrums knocking at the sky's gates, stabby infra subs foreseeing well-wished thunders and moist dark skank works are calling for storm. An inner shout for the elements, incarnating in a certainly minimal yet pretty heavy 160 stepper, rolling over all the dry hot air out there.

Yeh Sih Dub comes after the rain: new branches grow, fresh leaves spread, foggy clouds reach up for a mountain-high rainforest. Awakening the world bass side of Dub Across Borders, it gives you ceremonial Bhuddist horns as well as houting sounds of the tantric Khamak, a poundy stab bass and the shimmering spring-splashing ride sitting on top as its crown. Only rarely 80 bpm bass has been as easily touching and moving at the same time.

Take a deep breath and dive into this piece of both mindful and reflective space bass, launching sub-heavy Jungle onto imaginery moons of spacial perception. We are actually just about to start this journey, feel free to get aboard!

EQ & Mastersafe return to Vinyl Fanatiks with an EP of music that they wrote in 1994 but was never released due to them leaving the label they had signed to back then. On this EP we have remixes of Safewayz and People PLUS an unreleased track titled 'All I Want'. All tracks were made in 1994.

Neue Grafik has steadily built a strong reputation in recent years with releases on esteemed labels such as Rhythm Section, 22a, CoOp Presents, and Wolf Music. His sound is a distinctive fusion of jazz, house, and hip hop, infused with his African heritage, Parisian background, and a deep appreciation for London genres like broken beat and grime.

Neue Grafik first made a lasting impression on the community at Total Refreshment Centre (TRC)—the heart of London’s thriving jazz scene—during a spontaneous after-hours jam. Since then, there has been collaborations with notable artists including Nubya Garcia, Emma-Jean Thackray, Brother Portrait, Lord Apex and Allysha Joy.

The new album, ”Rachael”, is set for release on January 30th 2026. It stands as Neue Grafik's most ambitious project to date. Developed over the past year, the album explores themes inspired by the character of Rachael from the movie Blade Runner, representing the journey of love in all means, intimate, raw, tough, organic and honest offering a rich, emotional journey that balances lightness with depth—an introspective dive into the artist's evolving musical identity.

Universe #1 is a total classic from the raves back in the day... another immense production and alias by Dave Charlesworth, alongside Steve Mc.Carthy. Dave is responsible for the Energizer series from back in the day as well as the Side Effect record we released earlier this year. On top of that he was The Sorcerer and ran the ADR label too!
