"Surface Noise Isn’t A Crime" continues NOREPRESS’ exploration of texture, pressure, and imperfect sound as core elements of underground electronic music. Across four tracks, the release moves through Deep Tech House, Dub Techno, Electro, and Breakbeat without settling into fixed genre boundaries, balancing functionality with experimentation throughout.

A1. Tvardovsky feat. Andrey Zverev – Flute Meditation opens the record with a dense, slowly unfolding trip built on dub space, electro tension, and hypnotic Tech House movement. Organic flute phrases drift through layered percussion, evolving bass pressure, and spacious analog textures, creating a strange collision of futurism and nostalgia. The track resists obvious peak-time formulas, choosing gradual transformation over immediate impact and rewarding deeper immersion with every transition.

A2. Osman Öz – Regrets moves into softer territory without losing rhythmic weight. Warm breakbeat structures, airy melodic fragments, and fluid low-end movement give the track a calm but persistent momentum. Osman Öz keeps the arrangement restrained and precise, allowing groove and atmosphere to carry the emotional core of the composition naturally.

On the B-side, Kirill Matveev appears under his Natural Piece Of Aloe alias with two contrasting interpretations of the project’s dub-informed language.

B1. Salto Mortale is playful, unstable, and constantly mutating. Rhythms stretch and reorganize themselves around shifting tonal fragments, while the arrangement moves with the loose unpredictability of an improvisation session. Despite its complexity, the track never loses control, maintaining a strong forward pull through every unexpected turn.

Closing the record, B2. Columbo Beat, Kirill Matveev - Sundub pushes deeper into darker territory. Acid sequences slice through heavy dub atmospheres while rugged drums and saturated low-end pressure drive the track forward with raw physical energy. Distortion, space, and movement interact continuously, turning the track into a hypnotic late-night tool designed for more adventurous dancefloors.

Big welcome to Time is Now for J Wax for a bit of a statement EP and I am coming out swinging here cos this is a really good record. There’s good, and then there’s this, the kind of good that stays good.

You know that feeling when something’s just right. When flow state becomes clarity. Well listening to this EP from J Wax gives me that feeling. This is proper Goldilocks business. It’s equal parts Gun Fingers and Loved up hugs. Just right.

By now we all know that something very special happens when Speed Garage collides with 1st wave UK Hard House - but - what makes this just right is that J Wax didn’t stop there, just like the Dutch 2nd Wave of Hard House he’s slid onwards into euphoric trance and oh boy am I here for it. In 1997 we got Double99’s Rip Groove and Nalin & Kane’s Beach Ball and for me this EP has as much in common with perfectly formed ‘97 Trance as it does with Speed Garage. Who says you can’t have it all!

We’ve been following J Wax’s output for years. He has been grafting hard. And for me he’s already firmly a part of the long lineage of globally significant Scottish party starting producers and DJ’s. So when we signed this EP to Time is Now I was gassed. Four big tunes. Sick EP. For me it’s crystal. J Wax is now a producer operating in rarefied air.

The Milanese psy-maestro commands the floor in a manner few can resist. A slew of in-demand transmissions for his own Lagunas imprint, Kalahari Oyster Cult and Francesco Del Garda’s Timeless label champion his command on the nocturne dance. The 2025 EP Bongdrift for djfix and Jek’s Earth Dog stable furthered this agenda, and now he seeks a second bite with follow up Muerte Deluxe.

Opener Control maneuvers the night with an acidic bite, its pulsating bassline and psychedelic groove synergised for the peak. The title track aligns ruder, a cheeky stomp igniting the low-slung rhythm with ragga-fuelled fervour. Italian sound artist Giulio Aldinucci returns with his 5th album on Karlrecords: "Materia" is unsurprisingly a truly masterfully composed and sound-designed ambient masterpiece that adds perfectly to a series of critically acclaimed albums like “Disappearing In A Mirror” (2018) or “Shards Of Distant Times” – some of which made it onto several year’s best lists.

Giulio Aldinucci is an Italian composer and sound artist from Siena, Italy. His work focuses on ambient and experimental music, blending field recordings, electronic processing, and acoustic elements. Active since the early 2000s, he has released several solo albums on international labels including Karlrecords, Home Normal, and 99chants. His compositions often explore themes of memory, perception, and the relationship between sound and place.

Aldinucci's music is characterized by immersive, multilayered textures and meticulous attention to sonic detail. He constructs expansive soundscapes by integrating processed environmental recordings, choral elements, instrumental timbres, and subtle harmonic shifts. His style draws from both the aesthetics of contemporary ambient and the techniques of electroacoustic music, resulting in works that are at once atmospheric and conceptually grounded. The interplay between organic and synthetic sound sources is central to his approach, blurring the boundaries between the natural world and the constructed sonic environment.

His works have been presented at international festivals. He has also created art installations and multidisciplinary performances. In addition to his solo output, Aldinucci has collaborated with a wide range of musicians and artists, developing projects that intersect sound art, composition, and performance.

Aldinucci about "Materia": "Materia focuses on the idea of sound as a matter, which can be shaped into complex forms by removing excess material from the sound mass.The album originates from the dichotomy between accumulation and subtraction, creating compositions out of frequency-dense audio material in order to unearth what is “hidden” inside the raw sound mass. Unlike sculpture, in music time can be matter too by shattering sounds into milliseconds andrecompose them with a different fragments order, going beyond the traditional notions of rhythm and duration.“

Long time label collaborator and dub maestro Havantepe is back on Berg Audio with yet another journey into the deeper, more atmospheric shades of techno, unfolding across four timeless tracks. This release marks the highly awaited come back of the imprint’s “Monument” series, featuring a full cover designed by Juli Jah.

For its 15th Year Anniversary, Knotweed continues its long collaboration with Myk Derill, exploring different shades of bass-heavy dub techno.

FOUNDATIONS004 heralds the Dawn of A New Era from FTL. A thematic 4 tracker evoking 1993 darkside jungle tekno flava. Lead track Braindead Badbwoy sets the scene with heavy kicks, weighty basslines, eerie pads and dark atmospheric stabs that build towards a climactic final drop. Those familiar with undead lore will instantly recognise the infamous character on the sleeve, perfectly capturing the track’s title: a last brain-cell firing moment from the pattern recognition of a long lost tune. Consciousness in the new dawn. Keeping on theme, Stolen Memories drifts through dark atmospheric landscapes with haunting spoken-word vocals. Another climactic finale and we’re reminded once more of our talismanic protagonist, piecing together broken synapses at the end of an epic allnighter. What actually just happened? Mutual Rytm's Versus sub-label returns with a dark, absorbing new EP from contemporary techno innovators Kameliia and BLANKA. Kameliia and BLANKA both previously appeared on Federation of Rytm IV and now step forward with their long-awaited debut EPs. It is another standout for Mutual Rytm's Versus series, which has already made an impact with two previous EPs from Regent and Chontane and Klint and Hemka. This third release subtly evolves the sound into more hypnotic and atmospheric worlds that bring fresh perspectives to the series. Bulgarian-born, Norway-based Kameliia’s music is rooted in cinematic, melancholic and hypnotic sounds. She translates deep emotions into immersive sonic landscapes inspired by nature, particularly the moon, the sky and their atmospheric qualities. Along with Berlin-based Spaniard BLANKA, she has released on labels such as SK_Eleven, while BLANKA also co-founded Room Trax and draws heavily on the human voice, which she considers one of the most personal and intimate instruments. She uses it to create an emotional, direct connection with the dance floor, with a clean, minimal, timeless style rich in emotion. Kameliia opens up with the weighty kicks and eerie atmospheres of 'Bird In A Cage' before 'Red Sky' layers taut kicks and icy synths into a hypnotic forward charge full of depth and darkness, then 'Lightness' has an unsettling and paranoid lead hanging in the air next to vocal fragments and haunting pads. BLANKA’s offering begins with tightly wound kicks and bass on the dubby 'Say It With Me'; 'Self Pleasure' is an immersive and rubbery rhythm with cosmic synth work, and 'Rabbit Habits' brings funky synth lines that radiate a sense of subtle light and hope amidst the darkness of the groove. Wisconsin house music legends Solid Gold Playaz return with Minds Beneath Atlantis EP, a timeless deep house gem first released in 2003 on Silver Network before receiving a sought-after reissue from Still Music in 2017. UK house mainstay Hodge releases his long-awaited second album, eight tracks of high-calibre house and club music with a focus firmly on the dance floor.

Originally from Bristol, England, Ben Jacobs, aka Crackazat, is a multi-Instrumentalist and electronic producer. Since his emergence on the international scene, he has quickly become recognised for his unique fusion of Jazz and House music. He now presents his latest EP, ‘The Nervous Chill’, releasing on longstanding House label Nervous's sublabel ‘Nervous Chill’.

Crackazat’s influences range from the underground hip hop of Madlib to the Jazz-funk of Jamiroquai, showcasing downtempo beats and synthfunk. In 2015, he released his debut album ‘Crescendo’ to critical acclaim, as well as forming an alliance with Swedish house label Local Talk and performing supporting sets for Bonobo and Floating Points. Crackazat’s growing popularity has led to remixes by Joey Negro, Moulinex, and Tom Misch.

He now debuts on Nervous Chill with four sophisticated and downbeat tracks. Rooted in jazz, Crackazat’s signature keyboard solos, gilded violin chords, and glistening textures blend swinging grooves with silky melodies. DC Salas doesn’t do things by halves. Fresh off a June release on Enrica Falqui’s Plexus4, the Brussels-based producer wastes no time returning to his own Higher Hopes imprint and he’s brought a party with him.

Fiesta EP is a four-tracker with a split personality and zero apologies for it. The A-side is all business: Darkest Dream, already doing damage in Roza Terenzi’s sets and Consciousness lock in deep, hypnotic, and faster paced. Then the B-side happens. Blending old-school influences with a modern touch, the project captures the essence of his sound: groove-led, warm, and true to its foundations. Originally from Italy and now based in Los Angeles, Chesster has been building strong momentum across the global house scene, with a run of standout releases and defining moments over the past year. This EP marks an important step in that journey - not only as his first on the label, but also as a more personal statement. After a run of highenergy, peak-time records, the project sees him step into a deeper, more refined lane. The EP also features a special contribution from Rutilance boss DJ Steaw, adding an extra layer of character and tying it closely to the label’s identity.

For CT022, Cosmic Tribe presents the third edition of the Artist Series featuring C.C.O. (Contra Communem Opinionem), the project of Swiss artist Florian Büchel.

The original material selected here explores a more direct and linear side of his music, combining atmospheric structures, subtle acid elements and elegant melodic progression.

On Side B, both reinterpretations move the material toward more dancefloor-oriented territory. Raakel Bloody Raakel reshapes Gravitational Disturbance into a recognizable acid-electro interpretation with increased groove and syncopation, while Romphea takes Interstellar Matter into heavier and darker contemporary electro-breaks territory with increased low-end weight and a more direct club approach.

The result creates a clear contrast across both sides: progression and musical development on Side A, followed by two alternative perspectives built around movement and dancefloor energy.

“The Long Transition From Death To Wisdom” marks a new chapter in Dmitry’s evolving sonic world – a contemplative, slow‑burning journey through grief, memory, and the quiet emergence of clarity. Rooted in a brooding fusion of shoegaze, goth, and darkwave, the album drifts through washed out guitars, spectral synths, and poignant vocals – its emotional landscape suspended between sadness and awakening. On vocal duties is Dmitry’s longtime collaborator Valeria Simonova, whose presence deepens the album’s atmosphere. Each track feels like a step forward in the ritual of becoming aware of one’s own existence, moving through silence and ancient memories toward a sense of spiritual renewal.

The album opens with the mysticism and layered metaphors of “Liar,” before descending into the ancient, biblical presence of “Serpent Queen.” Midway, “Zenith” rises with shimmering synths and steady, triumphant percussion, while “Echoes of Yesterday” lingers in celestial melancholy, dissolving the boundary between remembrance and insight. The Bside begins with “The Other Side of Life,” a threshold into a quieter, more reflective space, followed by the meditative, ritual like ambience of “Shrine of Ruins.” Closing track “Cold” offers a final exhale from the fading realm of the past – an acceptance shaped by distance, time, and the erosion of old wounds.

Sie ergänzen den Gründungs-Gitarristen Robin Staps, den langjährigen Bassisten Mattias Hägerstrand und Schlagzeuger Jordi Farré. Jeder von ihnen bringt seine ganz eigene Note ein, um dieses fast 70-minütige Opus zum Leben zu erwecken. Für die Aufnahmen wurde der Kreis der Mitwirkenden noch weiter gefasst: Thorsten Quaeschning (Tangerine Dream) steuerte modulare Synthesizer bei, der griechische Komponist Orestis Zafiriou (Playgrounded) lieferte ebenfalls Elektronik- und Synthie-Elemente, und Simen Eifring von der norwegischen Post-Rock-Band Spurv übernahm den Posaunenpart. Aufgenommen wurde das Album in den legendären Berliner Hansa Studios, wo bereits Klassiker wie David Bowies Low und Heroes, Iggy Pops Lust For Life und Depeche Modes Construction Time Again entstanden. Innerhalb dieser Studiowände entwickelte sich "Solaris" zu einem lebendigen Zeugnis für die Kraft von Entdeckergeist und Teamarbeit. Da der neue Sänger Tiberi zudem ein versierter Pianist und Multiinstrumentalist ist, wurden Klänge von Celesta, Flügel, Rhodes-Piano und Hammond-Orgel zu einem integralen und unverwechselbaren Bestandteil des Solaris-Sounds. Der für The Ocean typische, atmosphärische Post-Metal wird durch den experimentierfreudigen Geist der neuen Mitglieder sowie die Beiträge der exzellenten Gastmusiker bereichert. Ein Werk, das für The Ocean hinsichtlich Ambition und erzählerischer Tiefe einen neuen Höhepunkt darstellt. Pablo Sánchez´s new solo album “Archipiélago” is out now. The new long player, a follow-up to his “Nocturnal” album as Basic Need will be released on Sisternoise Records and is a 42 minute voyage sailing through uncharted waters.

Every archipelago is a constellation of islands, distinct yet bound by invisible tides. Archipiélago, the latest work from Pablo Sánchez, follows this same geography of sound and memory. Its islands are not of sand and rock, but of places which inspired the artist throughout his life; Buenos Aires, Caracas, Puerto Rico, New York, Madrid, Berlin, and Barcelona. Each city has left a trace, a shoreline carved into Sánchez’s musical journey and left a distinctive musical mark.

The ten songs gathered here are like sovereign entities, each with its own character, its own rhythm, its own language. Together they form a single territory, a map drawn by musical experience, longing, and imagination. They are ports of call, but also fragments of a larger voyage, where tradition and experimentation, nostalgia and discovery, coexist to create a common territory. Along the way guest magicians Animal Feelings and Salomeya add their vocal sparks to the voyage.

Archipiélago is not a destination but a map of crossings, a territory of sound where the journey itself becomes home.

After Caposile, at the peak of his growth, now consacrate as one of the most sought and removed clubs in the Italian and world undergoing circuit, is back to release high level music, returning to pressing on vinyl in its acclaimed label the second volume of “The Sound of Garden”.

Spring 2024 deserved a release made by an exceptional cast, it will be always divided in to parts, both 12”, and it will include an incredible team of artists led by the visionary and immortal master Alex Neri, the local phenomenon known for his productions in Slow Life and Altered Circuits: Paolo Mosca, our family members and residents Twineffect and Maggio, the duo Francesco Maddalena and Manuel De Lorenzi, Lee Burton, Jamahr, Franko Lopez and Matteo Point.

A perfect mix of artists who strongly believe in the club and in what we transmit as an experience to live, these tracks are explosiveness, elegance, magnetism, each with a different facet of house music: progressive, balearic, electro, acid, this double vinyl contains everything that the dancefloor requires and it is a transposition into music of the current vibe that can be felt at After Caposile’s garden.

The first volume begins with the mastery of the multifaceted and always prolific artist Alex Neri who never makes a mistake, and even after years continues to release masterpieces, like this one: "H-Arp Odyssey", which already from the title we can imagine as an instrument takes the lead in the construction of the piece, a rush of adrenaline that immediately makes it clear what awaits us.

“Unreleased”, the track by Francesco Maddalena and Manuel De Lorenzi, is a clear representation of their way of playing that characterizes them and brings them together, and that always makes us dance, a direct groove, old school, tech-house in its most pure.

If the first two tracks get straight to the point, in side B we start with a bang with Paolo Mosca and his "Landscape", where with a maniacal arrangement, worthy of his now established name as a producer, he teleports us into a progressive world of the 90s, in Balearic style where floating pads, organs, melodies and sequenced vocals are linked to the complex and rhythmic percussive groove and the more aggressive synths.

Thus the first chapter ends with "Visions Of Disco" by Twineffect, a track where a more direct house part elegantly contrasts, which presupposes the more dance part of the piece, to then take you and envelop you in a long drop made up of a main piano and vocals that are perfect for a truly exciting moment to experience on the track.

After Caposile thus confirms itself once again in constant evolution, with an output full of new talents and sacred monsters and a European tour that continues to expand their party concept in the most important clubbing realities and the biggest festivals.

Both the first and second volumes will be released this May, ready to bring us a breath of joy and madness this summer.

Ronen Sabo aka Nenor has dropped his rough and ready blends of soul and house on labels such as Moodymann's Mahogani and UK powerhouse Defected. Having already found his way into top-level record bags with the first volume of this series on Fossils, he is now back on new label Mumtak with more fully re-imagined interpretations. 'Klock It' is a humid and steamy house sound with a throbbing low end and exotic vocals, while 'Clayers' rides on lovely claps with breezy vocal sounds, ensuring a smooth cruising vibe. 'To Be Free' is a jazzy laced and late night sound with dusty drums and scruffy samples adding up to something loveably rough around the edges and 'El Gato' then brings a more freewheeling sound with big percussive hints and darker bass.

CEPX003 continues the X-Series on CEP Records with a four track release by Elyas. As a long standing figure in the international techno scene, he has built a strong name through many years of dedication. Known for releases on labels such as Soma Records and Player, Elyas stands for raw and uncompromising techno with influences from ghetto and acid. Alongside vinyl and digital releases, he also runs two own labels and continues to shape the scene with a clear and functional sound. A1 'Cabale' and A2 'Bop Gun' move in a similar direction. Bouncy kicks meet acid lines and atmospheric pads that give both tracks a deep and driving feeling. Straight forward 4 to the floor techno for sweaty warehouse mornings. Small twists, rough transitions and unexpected moments keep the tracks moving from start to finish. On the B side, 'Gimme The Loot' and 'Ghetto Sneak Assault' bring a strong ghetto influence. Playful arrangements, raw vocals and sharp one shots create a loose but powerful groove. The tracks feel direct and slightly chaotic in the best way, while still keeping full control.

Bringing together modular systems, worn drum machines and digital synthesis, the record nods directly to the first decade of Warp Records and the early logic of bleep culture.
Dancelwerk is a Tenerife-based electronic pioneer and one of the foundational figures of the Canary Islands underground. Active for over 30 years, Spandauer Damm 103 marks both a personal milestone and a renewed point of focus, reaffirming his role in shaping the region’s electronic lineage. The album draws on 1990s electronic futurism, filtering those references through a contemporary production approach rather than nostalgia.
The music moves between places and periods: from the early rave circuits of southern Tenerife, where Dancelwerk built his reputation through DIY releases and warehouse-level experimentation, to his later relocation to Berlin, famously arriving with a shipping container of vintage synthesizers and modular equipment.
Balancing melody and impact, Spandauer Damm 103 sets custom-programmed percussion against detailed sound design. FM, spectral and wavetable synthesis shape its harmonic and textural focus, resulting in music that remains physical without sacrificing clarity.

ARMOR, a new alias by Pascal Pinkert (Ambassade / Dollkraut). A few years ago he visited Turkey and Lebanon to collaborate with artists such as trip-hop legend Zeid Hamdan and Egyptian singer Maii. While many of these recordings found their way into Dollkraut releases, revisiting the material sparked the need for a new outlet. With ARMOR, Pinkert dives deeper into the space between folk traditions and electronic experimentation. Hypnotic drones merge with Middle Eastern percussion, while subtle rhythmic structures fuse with immersive soundscapes.

Although best-known these days for serving up blissful Balearic beats, Chris Coco's Coco, Steel & Lovebomb project started life as a platform for his early 90s house productions. Pleasingly, the veteran British producer is now making house again, in this instance in cahoots with long-serving Italian artist DJ Rocca. On side A, they both deliver their own pass on 'Echoes In My Mind', with Rocca's fluid, warm and organic Italian dream house-meets-Balearic house pass being followed by Coco's hybrid deep house/nu-disco take. They jointly explore their love of African musical culture on languid, hazy and mid-tempo B-side 'Mama Sol Mama Africa', where fluttering flutes, warm Rhodes keys and layered percussion catch the ear. That comes backed with a lovely alternative 'dub' full of effects-laden musical details and ear-catching percussion hits.
