Joe Allotta's solo project (drummer, composer, and singer) was born from his need for freedom of expression after numerous experiences
as a session musician for artists such as Davide Shorty, Johnny Marsiglia, Funk Shui Project, Mario Biondi, Leburn Maddox, Giles Robson,
Amy True, and Imaani (Incognito).
His compositions embody the desire to make jazz, in its various forms and influences, accessible to the widest possible audience without sacrificing the impact of an engaging and captivating live performance.
Joe Allotta blends hip hop, funk, and drum 'n' bass with contemporary jazz, perfectly blending vocals with his performances. He combines
his rhythmic exploration with a sweet and surprising voice, capable of lending further emotional depth to his music.
"Transition" is a musical journey that reflects a life in constant motion, where everything seems fleeting, fast, and fleeting, immersed in the
frenetic rhythms that surround us every day. The title also encompasses a more intimate dimension: the growth of his artistic identity. Joe is
no longer just a drummer and composer, but also a singer. His intense and surprising voice intertwines with his drumming in a continuous
dialogue, opening up new expressive possibilities and adding further depth to his musical language.
The album was produced in the studios of the Sghetto Club in Bologna, where Joe, together with his producer Jacopo Trapani, spent weeks
researching and experimenting: rehearsing, playing, processing and synthesizing sounds, developing and arranging ideas, thanks also to
the collaboration of extraordinary musicians. The result is a work that blends instinct and research, intimacy and openness, movement and
transformation: exactly what Transition aims to convey.

Founded in 2023 under the guidance of multi-instrumentalist and producer Davide "Kidd" Angelica (who has previously worked with Inoki,
Deda, Voodoo Sound Club, and others), the group brings together some of the most visionary musicians in Bologna's underground scene.
Their music explores the chaos of contemporary life, intertwining urban sounds and jazz languages in a continuous exploration of new sonic
perspectives and narrative horizons. The result is powerful and powerful live performances, complemented by rich, layered, and meticulously
crafted album productions.
OVER is the conclusion of Phase 1 of the Kolosso project: extensive underground work, in the studio and on stage, seeking a point of collision
between jazz and urban sounds, trap, drill, and grime. Worlds seemingly distant but united by a common drive: to transform the chaos of the
present into language.
OVER is an attempt to go beyond: beyond the patterns of composition, beyond the rules of production. A huge sonic puzzle constructed with
patience, instinct, and perseverance.

With "Una Lama D'Argento", TENEBRO take their most extreme and visionary step yet: an entire album conceived as a tribute to Dario Argento, the undisputed master of horror, giallo, and thriller cinema. Eleven tracks that are not just songs, but episodes of a single nightmare, a journey through the dark and obsessive atmospheres of the films that shaped cinema history: Deep Red (1975), Suspiria (1977), Inferno (1980), Tenebre (1982), Phenomena (1985), and Opera (1987). TENEBRO translate Argento's universe into sound: riffs sharp as blades, guttural vocals emerging from the darkness, relentless drumming, and atmospheres shifting between pure violence and suffocating tension. Iconic scenes such as the mirror revealing the killer in Deep Red, the brutal mutilation in Tenebre, or the larva-filled bathtub finale in Phenomena are transformed into brutal, immersive sonic attacks, capturing the full horror and tension of the films. As with every album, TENEBRO continue to evolve, introducing new symphonies, styles, and melodies, while remaining distinctly separate from the wider underground scene. 2LP-Erstauflage auf farbigem Loser-Vinyl: "BIO PETROL" Disk 1 und "MAGENTA" Disk 2. "¡Simpatico! (Remastered and Expanded)" bringt das lange vergriffene zweite Album von Velocity Girl aus dem Jahr 1994, "¡Simpatico!", mit einem superfrischen Mastering und einer Menge Bonus-Tracks aus der "¡Simpatico!"-Zeit endlich wieder raus. Das Originalalbum klingt besser als je zuvor und wird durch ein komplettes Album mit B-Seiten und Raritäten ergänzt. Velocity Girl wurde um 1989 an der University of Maryland außerhalb von Washington DC gegründet, mit dem Gitarristen Archie Moore (Black Tambourine), dem Gitarristen Brian Nelson (Black Tambourine), dem Schlagzeuger Jim Spellman (Starry Eyes, Foxhall Stacks, High Back Chairs, Julie Ocean, Piper Club), dem Bassisten Kelly Riles (Starry Eyes) und der Sängerin Sarah Shannon (Starry Eyes, The Not Its). Die Band kombinierte englisch inspirierten, lauten Shoegaze-Fuzz mit rauem US-Indie-Rock und klassischem Pop-Songwriting im Stil der 60er Jahre. Eine Killer-Single auf Slumberland und ununterbrochene Tourneen erregten die Aufmerksamkeit der Indie-Rock-Kenner, und bald darauf unterschrieb Velocity Girl einen Vertrag mit Sub Pop auf einer Motorhaube in Hoboken, New Jersey. Nach der Tournee zur Unterstützung ihres Debüts ,Copacetic" verbrachte die Band den größten Teil des Jahres damit, eine Reihe von Songs für ein zweites Album zu schreiben. So hatten sie noch nie gearbeitet - es war eine neue Erfahrung, Zeit und Budget (vom Label!) darauf zu verwenden, ein Album zu produzieren, das kein selbst produziertes Punkrock-Studioalbum war. Nachdem sie ihr neues Material monatelang im lauten Stil von ,Copacetic" gespielt hatten, waren die Bandmitglieder von den Songs begeistert, wollten sich aber von der rauen, amateurhaften Atmosphäre ihrer früheren Alben lösen. Und ihre Einflüsse waren diesmal etwas anders: weniger My Bloody Valentine und Wedding Present, mehr New Order. Jemand bei Sub Pop brachte die Band mit John Porter zusammen, dem ehemaligen Mitglied von Roxy Music, der The Smiths, Billy Bragg, The Alarm und eine Reihe anderer Acts der 80er Jahre produziert hatte. Sie trafen sich während einer Tournee in Los Angeles. Er erklärte sich bereit, das Album in einer dreiwöchigen Session in den Cue Studios in Falls Church, Virginia, zu produzieren. (make of that what you will). FIG DISH were four high school friends: guitarists/ vocalists Rick Ness and Blake Smith, bassist/ vocalist Mike Willison, and drummer Andy Hamilton. In their day (a day that began in the late Winter of 1991 and ended in the early summer of 1998), they were known for catchy songs, memorable (often booze-fueled) live shows, and self-sabotage. In July 1995, FIG DISH's debut That's What Love Songs Often Do was released. And just like that, the band was catapulted from regional obscurity into national obscurity. MTV played the video for the band's first single, "Seeds" and FIG DISH toured the U.S. and Canada relentlessly with bands like Veruca Salt, The Muffs, Letters to Cleo, Juliana Hatfield, Local H, and The Rentals. In 1997, their sophomore album When Shove Goes Back To Push , was sunk by a risque music video for the single "When Shirts Get Tight" Featuring adult film stars that MTV refused to play and the band was dropped by an indifferent Polygram Records in the summer of 1998. FIG DISH returned from hibernation in 2024 with two sold out shows in Chicago and the release of Feels Like The Very First Two Times, the band's first "new" release in 27 years, collecting unreleased tracks recorded in the late 90s. On August 1, 2025, Forge Again Records reissued That's What Love Songs Often Do on vinyl for the first time, 30 years after the original CD release. The officially licensed 2xLP features white vinyl, reworked gatefold jacket art by Wall of Youth and vinyl mastering by Carl Saff. FIG DISH celebrated the 2025 re-release with live shows in Chicago and Milwaukee with old tour-mates Letters to Cleo and capped off the year with shows in Kenosha and Chicago with Local H and Fountains of Wayne.

Das muss sich ändern, und dank des Re-release auf High Roller Records gibt es nun die Chance, dieses Stück Thrash-Geschichte (wieder) zu entdecken. Wenn man sich vor Augen hält, dass Infernäl Mäjesty sich nur ein Jahr vor Erscheinen des Albums gegründet hatten, werden seine hohe Qualität, das große musikalische Können und die extrem durchdachten Songstrukturen noch ein Stück beeindruckender. Während der Sound das Albums vielleicht schon auf vorbildliche Weise das Harte, das Klare und das Finstere ausbalanciert, wurde es von Patrick W. Engel (Temple of Disharmony) noch einmal sorgfältig remastered, um das Beste aus “None Shall Defy” herauszuholen. Was Reviewer niemals zu erwähnen vergessen ist, wie unglaublich evil das Album ist; nicht nur was den Sound angeht, sondern auch in der Art und Weise, wie die Band ihre Songs rüberbringt – es ist technisch, aber die Technik ist stets songdienlich; die Riffs werden ohne Ende variiert, es herrscht definitiv kein Mangel an brillanten Ideen, an komplexen Tempiwechseln und an starken Soli.

Die ultimative Neuauflage! Sacrilege wurden im Juli 1984 in Birmingham gegründet. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung bestand aus Sängerin Tam, Gitarrist Damian Thompson, Bassist Tony May sowie Schlagzeuger Liam Pickering. Im Sommer 1985 wurde Pickering durch Andy Baker ersetzt. Nach einigen lokalen Auftritten nahmen Sacrilege erste Demo-Tapes auf, die in der englischen Punk/Hardcore-Szene sowie auch in Metal-Kreisen durchaus auf offene Ohren stießen. Daraufhin zeigte das Kleinstlabel C.O.R. (Children Of The Revolution Records) Interesse an der Band. Sacrilege begaben sich ins Studio, um die sechs Songs “Lifeline”, “Shadow From Mordor”, “At Death’s Door”, “A Violation Of Something Sacred”, “The Closing Irony” und “Out Of Sight” für die Mini-LP »Behind The Realms Of Madness« einzuspielen. Musikalisch folgten sie damit dem Beispiel von englischen Gruppen wie Broken Bones, English Dogs sowie Discharge, indem sie die Energie von Punk/Hardcore mit der Finesse des Metal-Riffings fusionierten. Von der Originalpressung auf C.O.R. sollen zum Erscheinungszeitpunkt alleine in Europa 11.000 Exemplare abgesetzt worden sein, dazu kamen noch einmal 15.000 Kopien über Pusmort in Amerika.

Lovski, alias Igor Sekulović, is redefining the Balkan musical landscape. A master guitarist and erstwhile “Projekt Rakjia” band member, he forges an uncanny blend of traditional folk melodies with dance, electronic and rock energy.
His debut solo album, Discoteka Jugoslavija—produced in collaboration with Napoli’s producer Raffaele “Whodamanny” Arcella—ventures through Italo-disco pulses, reggae grooves and psychedelic swirls, all anchored by the call-and-response warmth of Balkan traditional instruments. Each track feels like a borderless road trip: hypnotic rhythm sections give way to soaring guitar solos that nod to ancestral folk tunes, while propulsive synth arpeggios push listeners into tomorrow’s club.
Lovski’s signature lies in his seamless genre alchemy. He honors regional roots without succumbing to nostalgia, instead reframing folk elements as raw material for global dancefloors. As a performer, his live shows pulse with communal ecstasy—drawing dancing crowds around campfires of light, smoke and bass.
In a scene ripe for innovation, Lovski stands out as both torchbearer and trailblazer—proof that the Balkans still have surprises to offer, and that the old and new can coexist in brilliant harmony.

‘Win and lose without losing oneself’’ This line from French rapper Oxmo Puccino greatly accompanied David Walters while composing his fourth studio album. Over the eleven tracks on ‘Ti Love’, David took his time to find the right tone and in turn, tell his truth.

‘Ti Love’, is a French-Creole abbreviation for “petite love”, meaning ‘little love’, evoking that sweet fondness found in those small gestures and little acts of kindness.

Think of things like young kids' brotherly love or a stranger lending you a helping hand, while expecting nothing in return. It’s these motions that allow this album to feel full of real life, carried by beating drums that also pull at our heart strings.

Basing himself in a small village in Martinique, where David had not long since scattered the ashes of his late mother, the multi-instrumentalist decided to remain there and let the writing of Ti Love pour out from deep inside him. Taking influence from around the island, the energy from his makeshift studio set up in Fort de France, allowing a resilient yet grieving man to recount, let go and come to terms with his recent loss.

So embracing these new circumstances, on the rugged coastal Caribbean island of Martinique, David took up an artist’s residency in the island’s capital Fort de France, located near the town’s port is the ‘Manoir des Artistes’, a bustling recording studio space. A place where the walls shake as the latest sounds being created are blasted by locals and visitors alike. Most studio doors are wide open; as music here is a huge part of everyday life, feedback from encouraging neighbouring musicians is on hand and welcomed. A contrast to the isolation often assumed with working in more traditional music studios.

It was here in this stimulating environment that David recorded Ti Love’s initial demos.

With his first collaborator onboard, Neeweed, a 25-year-old producer and gospel expert who David met at the Martinique Jazz Festival.

Of the album’s initial versions of the record David recollects: ‘It took me three years to write it, then I rewrote it, reworked it. In the end I'm really glad I stepped back and listened to myself.’ I found a great ally in GUTS, who ended up being the artistic director of the record”

David surrounded himself with the right people who helped him express himself in the best possible way. He called on other friends and musical comrades; album opener and title track, ‘Ti Love’ features the incomparable Fatoumata Diawara (World Circuit Records / Africa Express) and further along additional production came in from; Izem, Art Of Tones, and GUTS himself, who all added just the right amount of ‘little love’ to this

project. Further helping hands came from Californian producer and DJ Captain Planet, who David was introduced to a few years ago. Closer to home, here in Europe, the German producer Bluestaeb appears on two tracks: the very catchy disco funk ‘Mr Maraboo’ and ‘Kite Koule’, the latter being the first single lifted from the album, where David invited Nigerian guitarist Keziah Jones.

Elsewhere on the album, fellow Heavenly Sweetness recording artist Blundetto contributed two tracks; the reggae ‘Voodoo Love’, which is David's tribute to Studio One, and the very sweet and resilient ‘Bon Voyage’, which closes the album... "It's gold, it doesn't need anything changing.” remarked David - ‘Bon Voyage’ is a goodbye to his mother, whose voice called him from the bottom of the sea one night while he was surfing during the full Moon.

Released almost 20 years after his debut album ‘AWA’ released on French imprint Ya Basta, home to Gotan Project and many others, David boasts a long list of radio supporters including; Gilles Peterson, Cerys Matthews and Don Letts at the BBC, while further field Cosmo Radio in Germany, and KCRW in Los Angeles.

On this new record, David has shown sincerity and vulnerability, while still honouring the infectious groove that he is known for the world over. Despite the upsets, a little love can indeed go a long way.

Originally released in 2006, Golden Best ~15th Anniversary~ is the ultimate ZARD best album, achieving million sales. It is also the final work
Izumi Sakai released during her lifetime before her passing in 2007.
For the vinyl release of such an important work, the cutting was entrusted to Tohru Kotetsu, one of Japan’s top mastering and cutting engineers and
a devoted fan of ZARD. The timeless ZARD classics engraved by Kotetsu have resulted in a truly exquisite finish. Please enjoy the warmth and depth
of sound that only analog vinyl can deliver.

As the fifth chapter in the band's discography, " The Neonai" arrived at a critical juncture in Lake of Tears' career, marking both an end and a reluctant new beginning. Released in 2002, three years after the melancholic masterpiece Forever Autumn, the album came to life under less-than-ideal circumstances.

Despite the commercial and critical success of its predecessor (the band's best- selling album to date) Lake of Tears found themselves adrift, unsupported by their label at a time when the world expected them to rise higher than ever. Instead of world tours and deserved recognition, the band withdrew, disillusioned, and made the difficult decision to put all activities on hold. But one last obligation remained: to deliver a final album to Black Mark Productions. What could have been a soulless, contract- bound release turned out to be anything but. "The Neonai" pulses with haunting melodies, infectious refrains, and a deeper embrace of keyboards and electronic textures, without ever losing the emotional gravity and sorrowful beauty that define Lake of Tears.

If this album was truly written "in haste," then let us hope Daniel Brennare continues to compose under pressure, for rarely has urgency sounded so inspired. As with the previous vinyl releases, we do not single out any specific tracks. Each song, like every Lake of Tears album, carries its own unique charm, its own shade of shadow and light. "The Neonai" is not simply a continuation, it is a transformation, an echo from a band caught between endings and new beginnings. Another gem in the band's catalogue, a masterpiece where the doom/ gothic equation tilts gracefully in favor of the latter. A deeply cherished album, long adored by Lake of Tears' devoted followers, who have waited patiently for 23 years to finally see it released on vinyl. Basket of Light is the most progressive and complex release by the British folk-rock group Pentangle. Traditional English folk songs are reinterpreted with a mix of jazz, pop and rock influences. Everything their previous works promised is fulfilled here. The album opener 'Light Flight' has become their signature song. If there is a prog folk masterpiece then it is Basket Of Light. Pentangle proved they could release a progressive, ground-breaking work without keyboards, much studio trickery or even electric instruments.

The original Pentangle was active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The original line-up includes Bert Jansch (vocals & guitar) and John Renbourn (vocals & guitar).

Repress!

A true hot stepper and one of the best of its kind, this 1984 masterpiece from Ini Kamoze is heavy, real and authentic. It was actually Jamaican born artist Cecil Campbell's debut album and features spacious, slow motion dubs that invite you deep within their cavernous drums. The chattery percussion, echoing hits and loose percussion all make a real mark. "World-A-Music" has a beat fans of Damien Marley will recognise, and "General" features some of Campbells more vulnerable vocal work. For fans old and new, this is a perfect roots album with a unique perspective.

Following the release of Deltron 3030, all three members participated in the Gorillaz' self-titled debut album. With Del aka Deltron Zero on vocals, Dan the Automator aka The Cantankerous Captain Aptos on production, and Kid Koala aka Skiznoid the Boy Wonder on turntables, this album takes the listener on a paranoid journey set in a dystopian year 3030 dealing with viruses, the apocalypse, an oppressive government, and a war waged against a huge company called the Corporate Bank of Time that rules the universe, all to the well-crafted and consistent musical backing of the Automator. Appearances by Damon Albarn (The Gorillaz, Blur), Prince Paul, Peanut Butter Wolf, DJ Money Mark, Paul Barman, Mark Bell (Bjork, production), Sean Lennon, and Mr. Lif compliment Del's vocal style and add the right amount of flavor to this classic period piece.

The world renowned “Maestro” of the dancefloor Louie Vega continues to deliver Dance Floor gems at a rate almost impossible to conceive, given that he also maintains a weekly touring schedule that regularly takes him around the world. Louie’s upbringing in the Boogie Down Bronx exposed him to the entire evolution of Disco and Funk at a time when those genres were at their peak in the 80’s, and he brings that wealth of knowledge and passion when it comes to remakes of the classics. His remake of “Last Night A DJ Saved My Life” featuring Anané and Tony Touch in its original version on the NYC Disco Album was a masterful update that kept the essence of the original classic, but was imbued with the irresistible House Music energy that Louie and featured vocalists Anané and Tony Touch can bring to a project like nobody else. The remix from Louie himself gives this peak house groover even more pump, while the Dub from Anané demonstrates that this talented performer has a big future as a producer as well. The bonus track on the B-side “In Search Of Peace Of Mind” shows Louie once again creating a unstoppable groove that respects the foundation of House Music but once again inspires an originality that places him firmly at the forefront the Dance Music Producer community.

San Francisco Power Violence underground legends, Spazz. 64 tracks from 1993-1996 compiled from splits with Charles Bronson, Brutal Truth, Rupture, Floor, and more plus the debut EP, tracks from a bunch of comps including “Better Read Than Dead” and live at KFJC and 924 Gilman St. Everything remastered, or in some cases mastered for the first time by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound. Originally released on Slap A Ham Records in 1997 and out of print for over 15 years.

Haf is the third album from Carwyn Ellis & Rio 18 in little over a year, no mean feat in and of itself but especially considering Carwyn’s work with other artists (including Edwyn Collins and the North Mississippi Allstars) this year too.

The album picks up where their last (Fontana Rosa) left off, with around half the album being recorded analog to tape at Gizzard Studios in London, with one last tune remaining from their sessions at the legendary (but now closed) Toerag Studios.

There are echoes here of their first album, Joia! - the recordings were once again instigated by the great Brazilian producer and multi-instrumentalist who happened to be visiting London earlier in the year. He suggested doing something.... so they did. And there is a return to more definite Brazilian influences too - Tonnau Ar Tonnau is an homage to ‘Onda’ by Cassiano, Keep On Smiling has a distinct samba / chorro feel. Gwenyn y Gwanwyn (about helping a bee out if you see it struggling) is very much a nod to the psychedelic samba funk of Antonio Carlos e Jocafi. But other Latin styles still loom large: on the sultry salsa of Bella Estrella or the melancholic Andean ballad, Lagrimas Frias.

Anglo-Brazilian singer Nina Miranda features on the Lalo Schifrin goes samba Shades of Red, while new addition to the Rio 18 family (at least on record), Miriam Isaac adds a real RnB edge to the record, along with some beautiful duets: the Salsoul banger Como Te Amo and the gorgeous Whistling Sands (about a beach in North Wales) are standouts.

In reverse to how Carwyn made the first two Rio 18 albums, Haf was recorded in London
and Wales and mixed over five hectic days in Rio. Three days later, it was mastered and at
the pressing plant. Time doesn’t wait for Carwyn Ellis & Rio 18!!

Finally, the song ‘Haf’ and the album itself are dedicated to Haf Morris, Carwyn’s late music teacher - he says, “her focus, guidance and patience shaped me like no other. I hope she’s enjoyed my musical journey, from wherever she’s watching. Diolch, Haf”.

Girl group greatness, courtesy of the Chicago-based Hutchinson Sisters (with Theresa Davis on this record) and co-producers Isaac Hayes, David Porter and Ronnie Williams! Recording at Muscle Shoals and Stax studios seems to have added a little grit to The Emotions' sound, too; this 1971 classic on the Volt label offers the perfect blend of sweet and sassy. ''Show Me How'' was the hit, but it's ''Blind Alley'' that made Untouched one of the most collectible albums of its kind: that track's one of the most sampled in all of pop and hip hop, most notably by Big Daddy Kane (''Ain't No Half-Steppin''') and Mariah Carey (''Dreamlover''). Pressed in black and clearwater blue vinyl editions, and cut ALL-ANALOG from the original two-track master!

With a career spanning over 50 years, Earl Sixteen is one of the major artists in the history of Jamaican music. He has been produced by some of the biggest names in the business, from Studio One to Jah Shaka, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and Mad Professor. Earl Sixteen has always stood out for the accuracy of his performances and the smooth depth of his voice.

Today, in collaboration with Switzerland most active studio group of the last decade, The 18th Parallel, he presents his new single ‘My Son’, written by the genius lyricist Marc Ismail. The lyrics touch on the harsh reality of the younger generations in Jamaica who grow up in precarious conditions and, in some cases, have no choice but to turn to crime. Here, the elder's voice urges young listeners to take a hard look at themselves and weigh the consequences of their decisions.

The message is enhanced by Earl Sixteen's performance and the extraordinarily powerful rhythm section of The 18th Parallel. B side features a scorcher dub by Westfinga: 'Hear My Dub'. A masterpiece of contemporary roots reggae!

Rob Smith, RSD is not only a successful dubstep producer and pioneer of the Bristol sound, but also a very popular deejay travelling the world sharing his music. Coming from a reggae background and well-versed in sound system culture, Rob kept some of his best productions for his exclusive use when deejaying, the only way you would hear these gems was being played in one of Rob's sets. Fortunately, we've managed to persuade Rob to let Reggae Archive Records share these dubplate specials with a wider audience on a limited-edition vinyl LP. Compiled and sequenced in conjunction with Rob, the LP features nine tracks newly edited and mastered by Rob to enhance the bass playback on vinyl - it's cut heavy!
The tracks were recorded between 2006 and 2011, a time when one strand of dubstep heavilyembraced reggae and dub. Rob calls these tracks reggae infused dubstep and that's what they are, but Reggae Archive Records is a reggae label and this selection of dubstep tracks will most certainly appeal just as much to reggae and dub fans. Fusing dubstep beats, reggae samples, and seriously heavy basslines, this is a joyous celebration of musical cross fertilisation that has been tried and tested in clubs worldwide. In keeping with the dubplate origins of the tracks, we have designed the labels to replicate an old school acetate, while the sleeve pays tribute to seventies pre-releases albums with a replica stamp giving just the artist and title on a plain white sleeve with aged effect.

Nurse with Wound's epic Thunder Perfect Mind was originally released in 1992 on United Dairies and was a sort of twin sister album to Current 93's album sharing the same title. Both albums featured contributions from Coil's John Balance, David Tibet, Colin Potter, Rose McDowall and more. A masterclass in ominous ghostly atmospheres and mind-warping psychedelic sound collage, this enhanced, extended and remastered edition has been overseen by Stephen Stapleton himself.

JAF Trio emerges on Helsinki's We Jazz Records with their debut LP on 3 July. The young Finnish-Danish band includes saxophonist Adele Sauros (of Superposition), bassist Joonas Tuuri (of Bowman Trio)
and drummer Frederik Emil Bülow. After a string of lauded live performances over the past couple of years (the band was awarded with the "We Jazz Rising Star" accolade at We Jazz Festival in 2017), the trio is now ready to present their first studio work.

Sound-wise, JAF Trio has an approach which brings the band very close to the listener, "loft jazz" style. The sax, bass and drums are right there at the forefront together, creating a remarkably strong presence. The original material of the band has depth and groove alike, at times leaping forward with giant steps, at times calming things down to really stretch time. The music is very melodic and rhythmic, as withnessed by single tracks "Ninth Row of the Fifth Floor" and "Dark Sparkle". There's a sense of playfulness in the repetitive riffing on "Something New" and an air of sombre melancholy on "Shades of Tomorrow".

"JAF Trio" will be released by We Jazz Records on 3 July on vinyl, CD and digital. The vinyl version comes in a heacy-duty "old school" tip-on sleeve. The cover design features the artwork "Red" by Finnish visual artist Maija Lassila.

The band has released three studio albums to date, plus a string of EPs, & has primarily existed as a duo featuring guitarist Alexander Nordgaren (formerly live guitarist for Norwegian legends, Mayhem) & drummer/ vocalist Svein Egil "Zweizz" Hatlevik (Umoral, Strid, ex-Dodheimsgard) throughout their full history.

Fleurety was considered a slight oddity to the rest of the Norwegian movement at the time of their inception, for developing an altogether different style with more dynamic musical influences & obscure/ non- traditional riffing. 'Last Minute Lies' was originally released in 1999, preceding the band's second fulllength album, 'Department Of Apocalyptic Affairs' & introduced a taste of the demented sophistication yet to come through their ongoing penchant for the strange & bizarre.

The result was a mind-bending (or expanding) voyage of eccentricity within the metal genre, presenting a new masterclass in avantgarde mood- setting in the process. Also included in this special release is the rare "I Left The Planet" project recordings from 1996, where Nordgaren was joined by a number of guests for this anomaly of dark & poetic jazzy- metal, notably featuring fellow prodigy of avant- garde metal & percussionist extraordinaire, Carl-Michael Eide of Ved Buens Ende/Aura Noir. On what is the 35th anniversary of the band's formation, this edition of 'Last Minute Lies/I Left The Planet' is presented on CD format including booklet with full lyrics, with audio specially remastered by Greg Chandler (Esoteric) at Priory Studios for this release.

After a long period of silence, bloodletting and transformation, Kaosophia return with their darkest, most mature and powerful work to date. 2025 sees the return of Kaosophia with their new album “Beyond The Black Horizon”.
