Cult reissue label Sticky Buttons returns with ‘Sweet Edits’, their first official foray into dancefloor edits featuring 4 remixes of Nigerian boogie legend Dizzy K by a hand picked set of superstar producers specially designed to get the party moving.

Starting with a bang, the A Side features a double hit of remixes to Dizzy K’s 80’s sleeper hit “Afrikan Jamboree”. First up is Clive From Accounts, frequent contributor to Razor-N-Tape and hot off the heels of his 2025 debut full length LP, Clive’s edit has gifted us a complete foot stomper, filled with popping synths and squelchy baselines the track has already been getting big plays by the likes of Optimo over the past 18 months. On track A2, well known dance floor magician Lipelis takes the reins, creating his Disco Dub version, expertly layering traditional african drums and vocal loops from the original to build a wonky club track laden with energy and soul as come to be expected from the artist.

Over on the B Side, South London based duo Make A Dance (M.A.D) take the formula from their own widely popular house inspired edits imprint to take apart Dizzy K’s “I’ll Never Love Again”, stripping it down into a teetering, chugging acid sprinkled weapon overlaid with a ferocious drum pattern destined to move even the stiffest hips. Last but not least, Japanese producer Mayurashka brings her signature subversive style to Sticky Buttons, flipping Dizzy’s K’s “Konga Mama” into a hypnotic tribal masterpiece, pulsating with a psychedelic techno edge ripe for blending in smokey club venues and dark mainrooms.

Four heaters not to be slept on. Hearing is believing and on this limited edition vinyl release the legend of Dizzy K sings again, finely tuned for 2026 dancefloors but always carrying the raw spirit of the original.

Multi-instrumentalist, producer & composer memotone (Will Yates) announces the release of his album Warm Shadows and a homecoming on Accidental Meetings. Zu seinem runden Geburtstag veröffentlicht Udo Lindenberg eine ganz besondere Panik-Compilation. Kein klassisches Best Of-Album, sondern ein Geschenk der Fans an Udo Lindenberg - denn über die Songauswahl haben die Fans abgestimmt


Im Januar startete dafür eine beispiellose Mitmach-Aktion, die die Fans begeisterte und zu einem großartigen Voting-Ergebnis führte: Alle Songs aus 40 Studioalben standen zur Wahl. - vom ersten Album „Lindenberg“ (1971) bis zum letzten Studioalbum „Stärker als die Zeit“. Das Ergebnis ist diese brandneue, von den Fans kuratierte Compilation mit den 40 meistgewählten Tracks - gekrönt von „Komet“ als 41. Song, den Udo höchstpersönlich außer Konkurrenz gesetzt hat.

This 4th chapter of the Dubatriation Dubplate Style series presents Philosofy, an epic melodica instrumental crafted by Italian producer Crazy Hertz in a combination with his mentors and UK dub legends Alpha & Omega. While most of the lead instruments have been played by A&O, bass, drums and soundscapes have been provided by Crazy Hertz who also showed his terrific mixing skills on both sides, delivering an immersive dub on the flip.

Water Sign is the debut EP from producer and instrumentalist John Silas: a five-track suite that moves fluidly between peak-time dance and inward reflection. At its thematic center is “Boundaries,” a dynamically arranged dance-floor meditation that begins with piano, 4/4 kick and restless hi-hats before blooming into radiant synth work reminiscent of classic disco auteur Patrick Adams. The Ritual is a 2000 EP by Greek stoner rock Legends Nightstalker, featuring a 27-minute blend of heavy psych, stoner, and punk recorded between 1998-1999. It includes four original tracks and a Motörhead cover, "Iron Horse," often praised for its dirty, riff-heavy, and trippy sound.

"Water Ritual" is the second jam we did during a five-hour session in Joshua Tree on April 20th, 2024, at Gatos Trail Studios. I had just picked up a new pedal called "The Fable," and it's all over this track. It's a delay with all kinds of crazy repeat options. When we mixed it, I wanted portions of the song to have a '70s dub reggae feel. So Dan at Gatos hooked up his Echoplex to the board and nailed that sound. Jamming with the dudes from Yawning Man is always a blast, and I'm stoked they invited me. Thanks, Gary, Bill, and Mario! Bob Balch

The Ritual is a 2000 EP by Greek stoner rock Legends Nightstalker, featuring a 27-minute blend of heavy psych, stoner, and punk recorded between 1998-1999. It includes four original tracks and a Motörhead cover, "Iron Horse," often praised for its dirty, riff-heavy, and trippy sound.

Green vinyl, limited to 300 copies. "Water Ritual" is the second jam we did during a five-hour session in Joshua Tree on April 20th, 2024, at Gatos Trail Studios. I had just picked up a new pedal called "The Fable," and it's all over this track. It's a delay with all kinds of crazy repeat options. When we mixed it, I wanted portions of the song to have a '70s dub reggae feel. So Dan at Gatos hooked up his Echoplex to the board and nailed that sound.
