Barcelona-based DJ and producer Groenogen unveils a bold new EP that seamlessly blends house, electro, and deep house, delivering a collection as groovy as it is powerful. Opening with a razor-sharp DJ tool driven by punchy percussion and an electronic bassline, the release quickly expands into a colorful second track, nodding to the golden era of electro house, complete with a playful jazzy, cartoon-inspired break that flips the rhythm before surging back with full force. The third track turns up the intensity with a roaring bassline and a commanding female vocal designed to shake the dancefloor, while the EP closes on a deeper, more introspective note with Tom Cler’s remix, reimagining the energy of the original into a melancholic yet entrancing journey. Introducing our latest release by Barcelona based corsican DJ and producer Groenogen, a captivating exploration of the duality between light and darkness.

This EP features four distinct tracks, each representing a unique identity within a syncretic soundscape. Dive into complex chopping and interrogative feelings, as he constructs an emotional journey inspired by the 90s progressive house. Expect electro patterns and dreamy outcomes reminiscent of iconic Italian and German Electro House tracks, all infused with tight grooves and unexpected drops that harken back to the golden era of 2000s Tech House.

After having explored our native Switzerland in search of nuggets, we extended our research and came across a goldmine in the south of France. For our 4th release we welcome Soyouz and Groenogen on the imprint for a masterful split EP. On side A Soyouz brings to the table two progressive yet powerful cuts, heavily inspired by 90’s sounds balanced with delicately designed synth lines packed with slick drums as well as robotic voices that make his signature sound. On the B side Groenogen delivers two very powerful tracks. He gives us heavy hitting, driving basslines and extremely smart and sharp synth leads and show us a glimpse of a moody and acid side of his persona. Both tracks showcase his mastery of technical and energetic arrangement. The two French boys deliver a dancefloor wrecking record straight from Toulouse, not to be missed I tell you!

Perros' third installment is a sequel release from various artists that develops the theme Canerêve. Holding the usual multi-functional-tracker mission, this Volume 2 features four dancefloor house-lines facets.

DJ Cream struts with solid drum kicks that mellows into a structure that humps atmosphere dreams through a cheeky R'n'B sample, opening the record with warm charisma. A deep house blowgun truly on point. Following the info side of the record, we found a rising french producer based in Barcelona by the name of Groenogen, setting an elektrisch-soaked trip to tech house, throughout chunky basslines and infectious grooves that move inside a stridulous synth in combo with a sexy vocal chorus.

Artwork side, by the italian painter and tattoo guru FASE, starts with a showcase of layered high-quality projects throughout instruments knowledge and improvisation that just a live-act maestro like Emi Ömar can guarantee. Tribal, Deep, Acid, Electro,Funky. An immersive mixture of textures and emotions that enhances a full storytelling, a whole venture narrated by a hypnotic vocoder. The fourth and final track, comes up with a glimpse criteria, climbing the heights gradually. Then, when DJ Rou finally decides to start, that moment is just a boom! The break comes with energetic grooves, intricate percussions, sci-fi samples bounce all around with both acid and melodic flows of a potential hard-house hit.

The second release of Distant Waters has been conceived with the idea of making something dynamic with flow and motions as a scene of sea hunting with several wild oceanic animals. So we collaborated with different inspired divers who came all around Europe to give their vision of our synchronized hunting. Solidwood the italian man behind the label Planet Tapes open this VA with a warm, stirring & progressive track. Then Sans Sucre strikes again, like a seagull who plunges into a big shoal of fish with a high energy track. The guys from Toulouse, Soyouz & Groenogen keep the flow going with a speedy micro-acid track that will make people dance as fast as a group of sardines trying to escape from their predators. English newcomer Human Logo close this EP with a shiny housy track with samples of whales which call for a hunting session.
