The 90s were all about Hip-Hop groups. Brooklyn’s Junior M.A.F.I.A., consisting of members Lil’ Kim, Lil’ Cease, Trife, Larceny, Nino Brown, Chico Del Vec, MC Klepto, Capone, and Bugsy, formed under the guidance of The Notorious B.I.G. after he released his classic debut album Ready To Die. At the end of the summer of 1995, Junior M.A.F.I.A. released their debut album Conspiracy on Big Beat Records featuring the lead single “Player’s Anthem” which featured Biggie and was produced by the late great DJ Clark Kent. Clark Kent produced three other songs including the second single “I Need You Tonight” featuring Biggie’s wife Faith Evans on the chorus. The third single, “Get Money”, another Biggie feature produced by EZ Elpee with it’s classic flip of the Roy Ayers Orduced Sylvia Striplin track “You Can’t Turn Me Away” was certified platinum. With eight members deep, it was difficult to stand out, but Lil’ Kim and Lil’ Cease would be the breakoutr stars and go on to release solo albums. The group disbanded after Notorious B.I.G. was murdered in 1997, but left behind songs that still hold up today and remain a big part of Biggie’s legacy, as well as producer DJ Clark Kent -RIP Out of print on vinyl since 2017, Get On Down is proud to present this 90s Hip-Hop classic as a limited edition reissue preesed on splatter colored vinyl and packaged in a gatefold jacket.

Ein Klassiker des Vocal Jazz! ”All Or Nothing At All” - was für ein passender Titel! Es war das letzte Album, das Norman Granz von der Sängerin auf seinem Label Verve veröffentlichte. Entstanden waren die Aufnahmen im August 1956 und Januar 1957 bei denselben Sessions wie die Holiday-Klassiker ”Body And Soul” und ”Songs For Distingué Lovers” und übertreffen diese nach Ansicht heutiger Kritiker sogar.

The debut release of Collective Direction explores the incredibly broad and fascinating variety of work of Tasti Box, operating in San Francisco in the early 90’s.

This previously unreleased album, made in the early 90’s, captures the spirit of the San Francisco free party scene that exploded around that time. DJ Harvey, Doc Martin, the Hardkiss Brothers, the Wicked Crew and a host of international guests played at legendary all-night parties at locations such as under the Golden Gate Bridge, on huge custom-built sound systems. Helping to define not only the West Coast scene but also influencing the rest of the country throughout that decade. The cultural impact of this moment in time continues to inspire today’s dance music landscape.

Opening on the delicate and melodic ambient tracks Mim and Quetzcal, the A side closes on Dr Tripi, a house-infused track preluding the uniqueness and diversity of the emblematic Tasti Box sound, explored more broadly on the B side with the triptych of Desire, U Can Fly and Box, a trippy journey melting influences from breaks, house, experimental and techno, one that can be experimented at home or in a club setting. The C side opens with the killer trancey and psychedelic club track Feel It, one expected to be definitely heard on dancefloors over the Summer. It is complemented by the almost balearic Story of O and bleepy and esoteric Electrons. On the D side, some Daisy Glow tracks, showing strong late Tasti Box influence, close the musical journey with four tracks of joyful and melodic house music, a perfect ending to a night and to the double LP.

"Shell Of Inexsistence" wurde unter der Leitung von Roland Böffgen und Helldrifter, in den Hard Drive Sound Studios in Stuttgart aufgenommen, produziert und gemixt. Die Gitarren- und Bassspu ren wurden unter der Leitung von Vasilis Monopoulos in dem bandeigenen Studios aufgenommen. Der finale Feinschliff und das Mastering wurde von Kai Stahlenberg, im Kohlekeller Studio in See heim-Jugenheim, durchgeführt. Für die visuelle Umsetzung wurde Giannis Nakos (Remedy Design) beauftragt, der unter anderem bereits die Artworks für Suffocation, Morbid Angel, Cryptopsy oder The Crown realisierte.

After various incarnations the band we've now come to know as EF hit their stride by opening up their heavy distorted guitar palet to a much richer, textural approach with haunting melodies and harmonies. The band started touring and built up a dedicated fanbase throughout the years. The experience and confidence gained from these 22 odd tours have taken them all over Europe and Asia. It has shaped them to become the explosive, energetic and cathartic live band they are now today. As it goes with age and experience also comes growth. Although the sound of the band has evolved away from the hardcore infused post-rock of their early days, EF have always kept their hardcore d.i.y. ethics alive. By running their own record label, And the Sound Records, and setting up their own worldwide distribution they sold thousands of records along the way. In 2010 EF started to collaborate with German label Kapitän Platte by releasing the third album "Mourning golden morning" on vinyl. Now 15 years later, especially as the record is long time out of print, it's time to celebrate this anniversary with a new edition of this album that reached in the meantime the status of a post-rock masterpiece, to name in a row with bands like Caspian, Mogwai or Explosions in the sky.

The “Circus Life” concert was an unforgettable live experience, recorded with 16 musicians in a unique “In the Round” format at the circus in Bucharest. Tarja was joined by talented vocalists, including her brother Toni, and a mix of musicians from various stages of her career.
The concert captured the joy and camaraderie among the performers, with Tarja opting for a minimalistic approach to her wardrobe to prioritize the music. The whole experience, marked by togetherness and spontaneity, became a cherished memory before the world shut down in 2020. The setlist spans her career, featuring greatest hits such as “I Walk Alone”, “Until My Last Breath” and “Innocence”, as well as fan favorites like “Victim Of Ritual” and “Demons In You”, showcasing her evolution as an artist.

"Frequencies from Planet Ten is the sound of Orange Goblin trying to establish ourselves and experimenting with an array of different influences. TV Smith's first solo album reissued from the master tapes for the very first time. The Artwork has been professionally restored and packaged in deluxe gatefold gatefold sleeve with in depth liner notes by long-time fan and author Dave Thompson. Comes as a red vinyl pressing! January 1983 saw TV SMITH reunited with ex Advert Tim Cross and David Bowie's ex-guitarist Tim Renwick to record "Channel 5" in Wickham studios in Croydon. 3 weeks later the album was completed and scheduled for a June release. "War Fever" was earmarked as the first single but at the time the country was fighting a General Election with the card of the Falklands war victory played by the ruling Conservative Party, and as a result the single vanished without trace.

"FURIE" enthält 8 Songs von heute sehr selten gewordener Länge. Sie haben ausreichend Raum und Zeit, um ihre eigenen kleinen Panoramen zu entfalten - die Künstlerin selber vergleicht sie mit Kurzfilmen, auf deren Handlungswendungen und Plot Twists man achten muss. Since their formation in 2013, Swedish progressive rock band Agusa has carved out a distinct name for themselves in the world of retro prog, Scandinavian folk rock, and Krautrock. Originally released in 2014, Högtid quickly became a favourite among fans of vintage progressive rock. Thomas Newman became the ninth composer in the James Bond series history. His score for the 2012 movie Skyfall won the BAFTA Award for Best Film Music. In 2013, it became one of two Bond scores to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score. Skyfall (2012) is the twenty-third spy film in the James Bond film series. It features Daniel Craig in his third performance as James Bond, and Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the film's villain. The movie was directed by Sam Mendes and centers on Bond investigating an attack on MI6. The attack is part of a plot by former MI6 agent Raoul Silva to humiliate, discredit and kill M as revenge against her for betraying him. The film sees the return of two recurring characters to the series after an absence of two films: Q, played by Ben Whishaw, and Moneypenny, played by Naomie Harris. Skyfall is the last film of the series for Judi Dench, who played M, a role that she had played in the previous six films.
