Stanislav Tolkachev is releasing a new double-LP through Krill Music called It Will Be Too Late Then.

The Ukrainian techno artist says he made the album by assembling tracks recorded over a three-year period, and he notes somewhat cryptically, "I think this record represents a phase."

As with most of Tolkachev's releases, the album will feature his own visual art on the cover. Krill Music, a Berlin-based label originally founded six years ago in Buenos Aires, is having it pressed in Argentina to support "the growth of the Latin American vinyl industry."

Tolkachev, who previously appeared on Krill Music with a track on a sampler 12-inch nearly two years ago, just put out a new EP on Mord. Rivet's Pohjola outlet repressed his 2011 ten-inch Why Are You So Frightened. He also recently shared a stream of an electro tune that's apparently coming out Umwelt's New Flesh label next year.

Psychedelic-Country-Garage-Soul oddities from the Sixties and Seventees. The tunes on this album are as good as those by famous artists like Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tom Jones, or Jack Hammer.

The recently discovered two-track soundboard recording captures the energy that had the audience in such a frenzy that many concert goers jumped into the reflecting pool that separated the bandstand from the seats. Odd Beholder, the project of Zurich-based musician Daniela Weinmann, releases the full-length debut album "All Reality Is Virtual" this fall.

"All Reality Is Virtual" is an intelligent, tenderly flowing and weird pop album, colourful, assertive. It deals with the strange temptations of our time: from tinder to AI, from offline loneliness to obsessive self-marketing. "I noticed that the main temptation of a digitalized life is the idea that everything can be measured, recorded and therefore known." says Weinmann. "But I yearn for surprise, for wonder. The unknown, the uncontrollable is appealing to me."

Odd Beholder have released two highly acclaimed EPs already, "Lighting" and "Atlas". Followed by the "Remixes" EP. Those remixes have been contributed by friends made along the way and artists Odd Beholder became fans of: The/Das, Fejká, Hundreds, Alessandro Giannelli, Kalipo, Thomas Atzmann. After having played tours in China, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, Daniela Weinmann teamed up with swiss musician and producer Martin Schenker to finish producing Odd Beholder's debut album. Peter Zirbs himself also knows how to escape: how to hunker down in the studio, hide from the outside and lose himself in the music. He emphasizes that such an escape is healing, leading to the world of the romantic. The Viennese musician and producer has always felt most comfortable straddling genres, whether techno and rock in previous band projects, or now as a solo artist combining post-minimalist dramatic synth/piano ("Firmament") with modern wave pop ("Are You Reality") and poignant ballad-kitsch ("Dreamescape"). Here there are subtle changes in emphasis gracing otherwise repetitive harmonies; there a true appreciation of pop. Ten songs - five with lyrics, five without - some threatening, some heartbreaking, all stirring. As part of the Viennese rave and techno scene of the 1990s, multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer Peter Zirbs has released music under several pseudonyms, produced and remixed various artists, and scored a range of experimental films. He has broken down genre boundaries over the years with the variety of his output. The circle closes now. In 2018 Peter Zirbs finally steps into the spotlight as a solo artist.

Ivor Raymonde played on the ocean liner The Queen Mary in 1949. In the Fifties, British television viewers saw him in legendary comedian Tony Hancock's 'Hancock's Half Hour' but music was always going
to be most important - the hits with Billy Fury and Dusty Springfield in 1961 and 1963 meant he was in demand. Goatherder is the seventh album from underground London producer Kristian Craig Robinson, AKA Capitol K. This ace manipulator of audio and punk warlord of groove has crossed a tapestry of styles and approaches with his own secret compass since 1998.

Along with everything from Chinese pop to the marching band music of the United Arab Emirates in his early musical vocabulary, the influence of rave, new wave, grunge, and noise-core would collide to create a bold new sound. His early studio experiments gave birth to his debut, Sounds of the Empire (Planet Mu, 1999) built upon a heady balance of samples and live sources that placed Capitol K at the forefront of the UK's electronic scene. The follow-up, 2002's Island Row, was released via XL Records, with lead single Pillow becoming a daytime Radio 1 crossover. Nomad Junk (2005) combined Asian field recordings into a vibrant psychedelic collage, while Notes From: Life On The Wire With A Wrecking Ball (2008) paid homage to London's squats and free anarchistic artistic spaces of which K was a part for many years. Andean Dub (2012) was an exploratory South American-influenced album of heavy synth laden cumbia sound system tracks.

The last seven years have seen Capitol K's stature as a producer elevated with his establishment of the renowned Total Refreshment Studio and recording work with musicians such as the Mercury Music prize nominated The Comet Is Coming, global dance act Ibibio Sound Machine (Merge), the pan-Arabic Flamingods (Moshi Moshi), Serafina Steer and her BAS JAN project, and contemporary folk artist Rozi Plain, among many more.

This latest work was developed and recorded in his native Malta, where he built a studio in a cave (a former goat stable). K gathered bamboo instruments collected around the world, including an ancient Quecha reeded pipe (his new-found lead instrument), and various resonating vessels and percussive objects including dry fennel storks collected from Punic troglodyte sites, and atonal flutes built from fresh cut farmland reed. Ritualistic improvisations took place over a series of seasonal visits, awakening genetic memory and plant communication.

Back in London the tracks were interfaced and expanded with post-industrial machine beat and bass guitar lock down. Homage is paid to New Age synthscapes, while a Spirit Jazz overtone arrives from K's recent years as the sonic muscle behind a plethora of luminous albums born in his Total Refreshment Studio. Goatherder follows on from the 2016 collaborative incarnation LOOSE MEAT and sonically abridges 2012's Capitol K album Andean Dub.

Outside of studio production and his solo repertoire as Capitol K, Kristian has toured as guest musician with multiple bands over the last 15 years, including Brazil's Cibelle (Crammed Discs), Archie Bronson Outfit (Domino) (whom he also co-produced), and recently Du Blonde (Mute Records).

His last project, Loose Meat, was a collaborative album of poetic dance music received lots of radio play in the UK and toured across the country for a year, performing a number of festivals.

He established the Faith and Industry record label which handled his subsequent releases and through which now he releases a number of other artists that he develops and produces.

There is something to be majestic about stalwarts of a certain flock coming together to be creative. The harder side of Drum & Bass didn't have it's own power formation until today. It's as of this day that Czech producer Forbidden Society, formed an alliance with two of his most respected peers to create 3RDKND. Donny, Katharsys and FS all have a strong lean to rhythmic textures, tough drum cuts and experimental FX works. Just in time for the European festival season, the thunderous first effort has arrived; and it's going to turn some heads.

Purge EP is a work of experience, seeking for the outer bounderies of whats sonically possible. The title track is an electronic behemoth which revolves around boundary pushing drum programming and pure unfiltered energy. 'The Artifact' is a straight up dancefloor anthem which uses an ominous vocal of cinematic proportions to build up to the halftime body of heavy hitting drums. 'Fire And Blood' is an experimental work of the rhythmic endurance. The final track is a 3RDKND remix of an original track by Donny and FS. Death To Techno'Death to Techno is a new, futuristic ep of "The White Screen", ever before into a world of ruff beats, dark electronics and analog effects. Musical producer Dori Sadovnik, the sound genius from Red Axes, produced this ep at Garzen Studios, diving together with the whites into a new world of unknown pleasures and sins.

A mind and body bender between techno rhythms and broken rock n 'roll tapes, between the dancefloor and a campfire, between darkness and light - the new recordings are asking big questions about past and future, vintage and electro, about the screen and about the white.

"Death to Techno," the main track that opens the record, is also treated in a wildly remix version of the RED AXES pair. The cover of the album - "Hellenic Plasticine Party" - was created by multidisciplinary artist Oren Fisher, who has been accompanying the band since its inception.

Factory Benelux presents a new vinyl edition of Swimming, the debut album by Belgian new wave group The Names, originally issued in June 1982, and now issued in a limited edition of 300 copies on clear vinyl.

Between 1979 and 1982 The Names recorded a string of excellent records for Factory, Factory Benelux and Les Disques du Crepuscule, all helmed by legendary producer Martin Hannett. Recorded at Strawberry Studios in Manchester, Swimming has come to be regarded as a European cold wave classic, combining strong songwriting from Michel Sordinia and poised, tasteful delivery by guitarist Marc Deprez and keyboards player Christophe Den Tandt.

Born in Brooklyn, Alan Vega was reared on the rock 'n' roll sound of Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison, but originally struck out on a career as a visual artist and light sculptor, making pieces out of electronic debris. But on the occasion of seeing Iggy Pop fronting the Stooges at The Stooges at the New York State Pavilion in 1969 was an epiphany for Vega. It showed me you didn't have to do static artworks, you could create situations,' he said. That show was the first time in my life the audience and the stage merged into one." It was that eradication of barriers between the two that Vega took to heart.

Their first two albums, 1977's Suicide and their 1980 follow-up, remain two of the era's greatest touchstones, beacons for others seeking to transform their worlds with sound. And even during the group's hiatus through the 1980s, Vega continued to pursue his singular vision across an individualistic solo output. From his 1980 self-titled debut and rockabilly-infused albums like Saturn Strip, through bracing albums like Power On to Zero Hour and IT, Vega forged his own singular path.

For all the darkness and despair that encompasses this moment in our world - and despite his work being depicted as bleak and nihilistic - for Vega there was always a sense of hope and a place for dreams to become reality. People have always told me that my music is angry,' he said. To me, it was always just an energy. It was the way I perceived the world. The key Suicide song was 'Dream Baby Dream,' which was about the need to keep our dreams alive. I knew back then that something poisonous was encroaching on our lives, on all our freedoms.' He fought to his very last breath for that freedom.

Music is the healing force of the universe. It's an ancient idea bandied about by Pythagoras and Plato. In the last century, music as medication has been explored by musicians as diverse as Albert Ayler, Spacemen 3 and Pauline Oliveros. Nowhere did this concept gain more traction than in the so-called realm of New Age Music, an entire movement of synth droners and echoey flautists recording home-baked healing mantras on 4-track. In recent years, thanks to cassette collecting devotees and open-minded music journalists, New Age has shed its flowing robes and is being mined for the truly incredible music that swells under its pastel surface. Musician/acupressurist Sam McClellan's 1982 Music of the Five Elements is one of those revelatory discoveries, an unrivalled work of intense research and focus, simultaneously a near perfect work of art and a scientifically sound elixir for body and mind.

After studying electronic composition at Hampshire College with Randall McClellan (no relation), Sam McClellan became intrigued with the possibilities of healing through music. He explored this idea by applying the ancient Chinese philosophy of medicine to the principles of musical composition. Using the pentatonic scale (the traditional scale of Chinese music), McClellan related each of the notes to one of the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal Water), and created five variations for each. He experimented with tempo, beat, pitch, duration, and sound quality, studying the effect on people's energy levels. Using the results of his tests he developed a comprehensive theory of sonic healing and spent the next year composing an album designed to help people achieve inner balance, reducing anxiety and energy depletion.

Music of the Five Elements is not only the acoustic massage' that McClellan set out to make, but is a fully realized and peerless piece of music. Taking cues from Minimalism, American Primitive guitar (Fahey & Basho) and even psychedelia, the album is a continuous sound voyage for voice, synthesizer, guitar, bowed bass, piano, effects and ciao (Chinese flute) all played by McClellan himself. Although divided into sections, the journey is best undertaken as a whole, without distraction.

The Telescopes were founded in England in 1987 by chief member Stephen Lawrie and released several recordings in the late 1980s but it is in 1990, when the band signed to legendary label Creation, that they hit their stride and helped to define a decade of UK rock music. Fusing elements of psychedelia with noise-rock, and dreamy pop, The Telescopes were near the forefront of the early shoegaze scene and hugely influential on the next wave of early 1990s Brit-pop. This crucial collection complies all 4 of their 12" singles on Creation as well as a 1991 John Peel session and other bonus tracks. Issued on 180 gram 2LP with a deluxe double sided poster insert.
