Carpet & Snares inaugurates its ‘Friends’ series with four slammers from Stephen Slade aka Infinity Plus One. Active since the 90s and author of a series of highly sought-after minimal tech house records, Stephen’s sound is precision tooled for dancefloor explosions, and this EP is no exception.

On the A, he brings two versions of ‘I Broke Your Solar System’, one a stripped-back DBX-style tweaker, the other drenched in sunkissed keyboards and strings. On the B, ‘Forward Together’ is a tight house groove lifted into the stratosphere by flanged percussion, while ‘In The Streets’ luxuriates in stepping electro groove and lush pads.

Welcome to the modern 'Spaghetti Western' revolution. Never before pressed to vinyl, Sydney-based indie band The Slims will release both their EP's on a special double EP vinyl record release. Off the back of touring with Jet, The Slims are looking to release their debut LP Nov 2026.

Rawbeats Records returns to its main catalog with a heavyweight release from Mar del Plata’s own Juaan. Meticulously crafted between 2020 and 2022, these four tracks are essential peak-time weapons already backed by the scene’s biggest names.

Japan's Takuya Matsumoto returns to Inhale Exhale with a new six-track EP entitled 'Song Of The Ocean'.
Japanese DJ and producer Takuya Matsumoto has quietly established himself as one of the most distinctive voices to emerge from Japan's contemporary house scene. Known for his warm, deeply musical approach to production, Matsumoto blends classic house
sensibilities with jazz, funk and soulful influences, crafting records that balance dancefloor functionality with rich musicality. Through releases on respected international labels like Clone's Jack For Daze and Royal Oak, Vibes and Pepper, and Fina he's built a
reputation for refined grooves, elegant arrangements and a timeless approach to house music.
Across the six tracks Matsumoto once again radiantly showcases the depth of his production skills as the project sonically traverses Balearic-tinged House, bouncy acid- laced electro, cosmic nu-disco, breaks driven jungle and dub infused deep house.

Purveyors of deep-tinged electronic grooves since 2008, Ornate Music returns for their next analogue emission. Dropping four refreshingly shaped cuts from mysterious Bolton boy: Jimmy The Hand. A seriously talented artist and shaper of off-kilter sonics, Jimmy works his alchemy in all the right places on this impressive collection of creations. Punchy drums and uplit mood colour the way in opener 'Nail Varnish'', as 'Delve Deep' opens the Arps to crunched drums, setting the mind to cycle with impressive effect. Over on the flip, rising pads and rhythmic shuffle fuse with warped effects as you skip through the sunny climes of 'That's More Like It'. Last but not least, you're met with the RAW punch of 'Breath': a full complement of Millsian influenced psychotropia that leaves you screaming for more, you've been warned.

Born 2 Be Free rolls out a third call to the dance floor here and it comes from Azaad. He kicks off with the low-slung 'Automatic' which has a cool-as-you-like swinging groove, dusty hi-hats and aloof vocals piercing the mix. Wispy pads and warped bass bring touches of old school garage but the palette is distinctly contemporary. 'Swagged Out' ups the ante with some sleazy garage shufflers and a steamy vocal sound that draws in between the edgy synth stabs. Last of all is maybe the best. 'Doin' It Again' is a heady and clean sound with swirling cosmic pads and a slick, minimal rhythm that makes you throw down your best moves.

Neon Electronics presents “Liberation”, the final chapter of the project born as the successor to The Neon Judgement—an essential vehicle for Dirk Da Davo, an artist who helped lay the foundations of EBM and post-punk. As co-founder of The Neon Judgement, he forged a sonic language that continues to resonate across generations. With “Liberation”, he brings Neon Electronics to a close, marking the end of this era with clarity and intent.

Joined by longtime collaborators Glenn Keteleer (Radical G) and Pieter-Jan Theunis, this release captures the essence of his most vital years. It distills the spirit of the ’80s and early ’90s into a sequence of tracks that unfold like a collection of undeniable hits—direct, timeless, and uncompromising.

The record reaches its final form with remixes by Ancient Methods, a leading force in industrial techno, and Patrick Codenys of Front 242—one of the few acts whose legacy stands alongside Dirk’s own.

For the label, presenting this final work is both a privilege and a responsibility: a closing statement from one of the true architects of the sound itself, and the definitive work of Neon Electronics as a project.

James Ruskin's Blueprint Records continue the 30th anniversary with another label stalwart as Mark Broom returns with his new EP, "Reality Check".



Mark Broom is a renowned British techno DJ and music producer whose career spans over three decades. Throughout his career, Broom has released over 150 singles, showcasing his versatility across various sub-genres of electronic music. He has collaborated with esteemed record labels such as Defected, Rekids, Warp, Ifach, M-Plant, Cocoon, Glitterbox and his own Beard Man (launched in 2009).



In addition to his solo projects, Broom has engaged in numerous collaborations. He partnered with James Ruskin to form The Fear Ratio, exploring experimental sounds that blend elements of hip-hop, IDM and techno with four albums (to date) on Skam Records, Tresor and of course, Blueprint. Another highlight has been their "Ruskin & Broom" EPs which have peppered the label's roster.Now based in Norfolk (England), Broom continues to be a driving force in the techno scene.



His work has been described as ranging from "club-ready techno and house to left-field electro, downtempo and IDM" highlighting his adaptability and broad musical range.? Returning to his driving Techno roots, his "Reality Check" EP is an essential release for fans of both Broom and Blueprint.

Boogie Vice & N-You-Up Return to Definitive Recordings with 'Decadisco EP'

Definitive Recordings continues its run of forward-thinking house releases with DEF2603, the new four-track 'Decadisco EP' from Boogie Vice and N-You-Up. Following their 2025 collaboration 'Come On Closer', the duo returns to the label with a fresh collection of groove-driven club tools that balance modern energy with classic house foundations. Recent releases on sister label Get Physical Music further underline the duo's strong creative momentum.

Boogie Vice is a French DJ and producer known for his groove-led house sound that blends funk, soul, and percussive club energy. With releases on labels such as Get Physical, Rekids, and Definitive Recordings, he has built a reputation for warm, dancefloor-focused productions supported by tastemakers worldwide. Now based in Cape Town, Boogie Vice has expanded his creative work into film scoring and executive production, adding new depth to his already rich musical palette.

N-You-Up, Southern France native Nick, brings decades of DJ experience and a deep-rooted love for jazz, funk, and disco. Formerly known as The Beatangers, he now channels those influences into a refined house fusion under his N-You-Up alias. Alongside Boogie Vice, his collaborative releases have appeared on labels such as Nervous Records and Get Physical Music, with their joint productions receiving support from key artists including Solomun, Dennis Ferrer, Jamie Jones, Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Radio Slave or Mita Gami, firmly establishing the duo as a reliable source of dancefloor-ready house music.

The EP opens with 'Game Concept', a driving house cut built on percussive drums, a rolling classic house bassline, and catchy vocal samples. Dreamy, deep synth chords float above the groove, creating a hypnotic yet energetic opener. 'Wurkin Like Dat' follows with a disco-infused house vibe, stacking groove upon groove as vocal snippets and disco elements take center stage, delivering pure dancefloor momentum. Thessaloniki is a hotbed of electronic talent. Tendts are testament to this. The triumvirate of brothers Christos and Fotis Papadakis, joined by guitarist Elias Smilios, have carved out a truly unique sound. Blending disdainful punk with synth‑pop sheen, the group arrive at the Bordello with Ghost Boys. Cymbals crash in the title piece, a lone key circling percussive precipitation before rich guitar strings bring balance and ballast. The song, an emotion‑stripped story of missed opportunities and narrowing prospects, is sensitive and sharp; an emblazoned anthem to the lost and forgotten. Distilled down to a powerful essence, the radio version focuses on the throaty message, meandering synth melody, and smoky strings.

Lauer steps in for remix duties, dipping the original into a blue acid‑electro syrup before it re‑emerges as a fresh‑faced reimagining, its chorus lanced with vocoders while a minimal melody simmers beneath Chicago‑style knob twists. Taking another direction, Boys’ Shorts melt broken‑beat revelry into their countrymen’s original. Smilios’ guitar riff becomes a central column around which samples spin and house warmth emanates. Systematic Gent EP brings together four distinctive cuts from artists who each embody a different shade of the label’s sound. For this special various-artists release, Ghent-based Maxim Lany delivers the deep, driving, atmospheric and immersive “Noise”; Dimitri Andreas adds rhythmic drive and tribal energy with “Jungle Circus”; Robert Babicz contributes the hypnotic, progressive and emotive “Soul Traveler”; and Drumcomplex & Frank Sonic round out the EP with the powerful, forward-moving techno gem “Solar.”
Released on 12” vinyl, Systematic Gent EP arrives in perfect sync with the label’s showcase at Wintercircus in Gent on May 8, 2026, creating a direct link between the music on wax and the energy of the dancefloor.
