Propelling Down Under techno and house into the world's clubs with classics such as Phreakin', LSD and 6AM in the mid-90s, djhmc (Cam Bianchetti) is rightly hailed as the 'godfather of Australian techno'.

Now with more than 30 years experience of transcendentally moving dancefloors - and 20 years with his productions, remixes and edits; djhmc is back with a new label - reflector.

This will be an all new platform to showcase totally remastered versions of his back catalogue as well as to provide a vehicle to bring his current and previously unreleased
work to his already loyal following and to new believers.
Cam Bianchetti is a man of many talents who is very much in demand as a DJ and a producer, and he applies the same meticulous attention to detail and knowledge of what works a dancefloor across both disciplines. Under his djhmc alias, it isa very broad church that covers disco, house and techno, whilst his other monikor, Late Nite Tuff Guy focuses more on his love of Funk & Soul. When it comes to giving a classic sound a new contemporary twist, there is simply no-one better.

Barcelona-based Rob Clouth returns to Leisure System with the Deep Field 12', a stomping showcase of his focused sound design and knack for memorable melodies with additional remixes from Kowton and Vessels.
Deep Field is Clouth's Leisure System follow-up to the Clockwork Atom EP, which was named one of the top EPs of 2014 by Bleep and introduced his electronic wizard by to a wider audience following prior releases as Vaetxh and under his own name. Debuted on Max Cooper's Boiler Room and appearing again on his Essential Mix, 'Deep Field' is tactile and threatening, with disorienting glitches weaved into the 4/4 structure. The belching low-end brings to mind a talkative machine that's been muzzled, eager to burst from its restraints.Livity Sound boss Kowton inverts the original into a gelatinous mass, adding jackhammering drums to the cloudy atmosphere and creating a spacious and stuttering lesson in tension and release. Fresh off the release of their LP Dilate, Leeds band Vessels put their own euphoric electronic magic to work with a housier take, drawing out Clouth's propulsive percussion with an added dose of lush melodicism that

On the same side, a live out-take from Cloned's repertory, - The Pendulum - swinging synth-lines which dominate pretty direct rhythmics over a costant background noise. - Belgassem - as the first cut on the B side, is an absolutely heavy one for the label's standards, empowered by a really strong and obsessive acid-line. RFBCOLOURS 002 bring L'Atelier on board. This pair from Amsterdam bring you a 4 track EP with a digi only bonus. It starts off with Again, which hits that great sample hard and gets the party started on a disco vibe with a house twist. Then theres XTC which carries on where the A1 left off. On the flip we see a serious piano workout on top of a a grooving drum arragement. To finish off the vinyl package we see Times Are Ruff take the remix on a deeper tip with some seriously crunchy basslines and rolling groove. Having recently joined forces with Dubfire to bring us the third instalment of their successful Elements Series, Ideal Audio boss Oliver Huntemann flies solo again on his latest double-header, Licht & Schatten. Whilst we are all aware of the Oliver's arena conquering techno credentials, his latest work finds the German producer taking his foot off gas, just a touch, and allowing the groove to dominate these tracks. The driving, pulsing and cascading bassline of Licht provides the backdrop to crisply synced, stiffly arranged hi hats and kicks, before dropping into a minimal but funky melody. On the flip, Schatten treads a similar path. The track is anchored by an industrial, mechanised kick and flash-like synth touches before swollen, acidic stabs set the pace on the drop. Both show a different but equally welcome face to Oliver's sound.

We are very happy to present our first album on Ilian Tape. At the beginning of 2014 we moved our two separate bedroom studios into one and soon after started working on the album. All the tracks were made in about 6 months in our new Ilian Tape Space Studio in Munich. The time felt right to focus on this adventure, but without any pressure. Therefore the process became very natural and we felt free to go wherever the vibe led us. Our intention was to create a very personal and honest sound without any limitations or guidelines. It's a reflection of all the years we've been growing up, working, traveling and playing together and it means a lot to us. But enough said music is not supposed to be described with words, so sit back, close your eyes, light one up and turn up the speakers!

Jel Ford kicks off his return EP with two tracks of clean big room techno. The title track 'Backyard' is a moody affair with a low drone throughout that is complimented with layered synth stabs.
Using reverb to create atmosphere within the track it subtly breaks down before a vocal hook transcends the track to deliver a killer blow. 'Meeting of Minds' is dubbier and uses a tripped out synth to add rhythm whilst working alongside a synth pattern to keep the track chugging along.

Belgian talent Ilario Liburni looks to the release of his debut LP, 'Travel So Far', forthcoming on his own label, Invade Records. The eight track affair comes on a double vinyl pack as well as digital form which will follow a month later and proves the man behind it to be a superb producer with plenty to say.

Combining elements of house, minimal and intricate sound design, Ilario also heads up the Cardinal label and first emerged back in 2011 on Monique Musique. Since then he has gone on to release on a number of respected imprints (including Riva Starr's Snatch! And Memoria Recordings), has had his tracks licensed to compilations including Noir's In the House album for Defected and has continued to make a big impression as a DJ around Europe.

The album kicks off with 'Travel So Far', a synthetic and stripped back groove with lots of squelchy sounds, scurrying synths and feathery percussive lines all working their way into your brain. 'Sudden' is another Ricardo Villalobos style track that is elongated, intricate and immersive as it unfolds on soft edged drums. Next up, 'Carrie' is a smooth, dubbed out affair that demonstrates plenty of restraint yet really locks you into its hypnotic groove as static hiss and crackles alongside distant synths colour the spaces left behind.

'Steampunked Sewing Machine' ups the ante a little with a hollowed out drum line rocking back and forth on its heels, and 'Can't Fool Data' starts all waify and minimalistic before getting pulled apart to the sound of whirring machines, and then it drops again; you can imagine dancefloors going wild to its hooky rhythms. 'Jenndrum' is all about the pinging drum kicks and globular toms that make for a peppery groove, 'Pherthothal' toys with a sense of abstract funk and closer 'Schwalbe' is a gloopy, gluey, druggy fusion of slurred synths, hiccupping drums and dark textures that make for involving listening.

This is a genuinely inventive album riddled with fascinating sounds,
a real attention to detail and plenty of otherworldly moods that really stick with you.

After two strong releases on Electronical Reeds, the Brussels-based artist Exon Bacon inaugurates Play Label Records with his latest EP, Watching Dogs. Play Label Records is the extension of the collective Play Label that has become a key player in the music scene of Brussels with more than hundreds of events to its credit. This first release sets up the artistic direction of this label that seeks to develope a real dancefloor approach and a strong party spirit.

The release is opened by the original mix that could be summarize with the expression 'powerful bassline, persistent heady voice and burning dancefloor'. The Parisian duo Villanova embarks us into a spin with a darker atmosphere, a deep foreground voice and a strong and repetitive gimmick. This remix reminds us why this Parisian duo knows such rapid ascent on the worldwide electronic scene. The Berlin-based and San Francisco born artist Yooj takes the opposite course to two first tracks with a deeper approach and a lighter atmosphere to offer a sunny and tasty deep house track that will delight all the dancefloor. Lastly, DC Salas, another Belgian talent, filters the voice, redefines the percussion and opens the horizon to take the direction of Tech House track.

This Exon Bacon's EP acts as the foundation stone of a future label to keep an eye on and to follow with a great attention.

Môme is quickly becoming something like France's new house god. His earthy vinyls for Housewax and FTWR got him a great following with record collectors and house DJs alike. Appearing on Appolonia's Fabric mix, several Boiler Room sets, and his 'For One Day EP' at #1 on Decks Buzz Charts, Môme quickly wins the hearts of dancers and players. 'Triple House' is probably the most amazing outing of his fresh style to date, with all 3 tracks being sweaty bouncing groove monsters. Als Compilation-Reihe im Jahre 2001 gegründet um ein paar lose Fäden unserer Stammkünstler zu verknüpfen, hat sich SPEICHER inzwischen zu einem Garanten für fortgeschrittene Tanzklänge aus aller Welt weiterentwickelt, der es KOMPAKT erlaubt Musiker aus allen Bereichen des elektronischen Spektrums einzuladen und zu fördern. Für SPEICHER 73 haben sich Hollands Synth-Epiker QUINCE sowie der in Berlin lebende Techno- und Modekünstler TOM PETERS hinters Mischpult begeben, um in zwei meisterhaft auskomponierten Tracks der Suche nach dem Horizont zu frönen.

Weltweit von DJs zum Einsatz gebracht, sind QUINCE's Techno-Etüden ein bekannter Klang im elektronischen Kosmos, dank starker Releases auf respektierten Labels wie etwa DELSIN oder MUSIC MAN RECORDS. Seine Produktionen beeindrucken generell mit ihrer profunden Kenntnis der großen Skylines, doch irrt der holländische Meister hier ein wenig ab von seinem Kurs durch 4/4-Welten und verliert sich stattdessen in den weitläufigen Kellerkorridoren des wolhltemperierten Schaffelbeats. LOST baumelt fast acht Minuten lang von der Klippe und gibt sich ganz als kubistisches Märchen vom einsamen Helden im dunklen Wald: in Erwartung einer zu errettenden Prinzessin bahnte der sich einen abenteuerlichen Weg durchs Unterholz und berichtet nun von unermeßlichen Schätzen und Momenten großen Glücks. Schon massiv gut, wenn sich die eigene, jahrelange Live-Erfahrung so anstandslos in perfekte DJ-Munition ummünzen last.

Zwei Stunden nördlich von Berlin liegt Kartlows kleiner Ortsteil Unnode, wo der ansonsten eher umtriebig veranlagte TOM PETERS wohlverdiente Ruhe in den Alltag eines DJs, Produzenten und angehenden Modezaren einkehren last. Hier, in inspirierender Nähe zur Ostsee, entwirft er die Skizzen für die meisten Tracks; so auch für TAKE YOUR CHANCE, dessen Silhouette sich deutlich geprägt sieht von der Weite der lokalen Natur. Toms Produktionen weisen alle Anzeichen transzendentaler Melancholie auf, verfehlen jedoch nie das urbane Momentum: sein Beitrag für SPEICHER 73 präsentiert eine simple, doch weitläufige Melodie, deren Haar vom Beat elegant zurückgebunden wurde, Futter für die Beine und die Seele. Ganz wie die handgedruckten Botschaften seiner eigenen Modeserie SAVE FASHION, vermag nämlich auch Toms Musik auf dem dünnen Seil zwischen dem Einfachen und dem Mehrdeutigen zu balancieren... dream on, dreamer.

Rough, flickering and a bit unwashed - Ronan Dec sends out a piece of tremendous tough - minded music with his new - Whisper' EP.
Understood, that this steamroller - funk could only be cut into vinyl. With a proper share of chutzpa Felix Bernhardt picks out the bassline and adds all ingredients up to a grooving piece of prime time techno. The whole thing is finalized by the Blaues Licht remix which cuts the serious machine-funk and turns Ronan Dec´s saw tooth orgy into screaming sirens for a sweaty track of techno. - Tanaka' strums dirty and loud on the platform of the electro-clash desired sound for the closing. - Whisper' is a
shameless tray and kindly asks for maximum volume.
Rough, klirrend und irgendwie ein bisschen ungewaschen - Ronan Dec liefert mit seiner - Whisper' EP ein krachendes Stück kompromissloser Ohrengewalt. Nur, um gleich klarzumachen, dass dieser Dampfwalzenfunk eigentlich nur in Vinyl geschnitten werden kann. Felix Bernhardt greift für seinen Remix von - Whisper' mit einer gehörigen Portion Chuzpe die
Schrabbel - Bassline auf und faltet aus allen Zutaten ein groovendes Stück Techno für die Prime Time. Der Blaues Licht - Remix macht dann Schluss mit dem ernsten Maschinenfunk und schraubt aus Ronan Dec´s
Sägezahnorgien schreiende Sirenen für ein verschwitztes Stück Elektro.
- Tanaka' schrammt zum Abschluss dreckig und laut am Unterbau der
Klangästhetik von Elektroclash entlang, ohne sich dabei auch nur einen
Fußbreit von der Tanzfläche zu bewegen. - Whisper' ist ein schamloses Brett
und gehört gefälligst laut aufgedreht.
