This is the fourth volume in the collection dedicated to the Arlecchino nightclub in Santa Maria Codifiume, in the province of Ferrara. It's once again a double-vinyl set that gathers the best of Afro, Funky, Rare Groove, and Black Music, as played at the club by resident DJs Giancarlo Lelli, DJ Ghello, and DJ Frank.

'Don't Turn Your Back On Me feat. Pauline Taylor' originally featured on US house innovator and Basement Boys co-founder Teddy Douglas's ‘I’m Here’ album in late 2024. It's a true soulful house anthem with funky bass and a glorious vocal that was primed for a A-list remix package. Douglas himself opens up this package with joyous organ chords and soft melodies lighting up the smooth, seductive drums. Swiss DJ and producer Shaka goes next as an artist who has spent decades blending acid, Chicago, and Detroit influences into his own tunes on top labels like Nervous, GooD MooD, and Mister Bear Records. His 12-inch Club version strips things back to go deep and dubby before rebuilding with sunny melodies, expressive organs, and proggy guitar licks that bring joyous energy and real dance floor unity.

Next is NYC DJ Tedd Patterson, a true originator, resident at Ladyfags’ Battle Hymn party and a regular at Horse Meat Disco, Berghain’s Panorama Bar, and Glitterbox, as well as releasing on Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Defected, and more. His sophisticated remix boasts a warm and bouncy sound, complemented by soulful vocals that lend richness. Then it's seminal NYC favourite Danny Krivit, who is part of the cult Body and Soul crew, is a renowned remixer and editor with hundreds of credits to his name on the most important labels in the scene, and is resident DJ at New York’s legendary 718 Sessions. He draws on his vast experience to edit the original into a playful disco stomper, complete with neat guitar riffs and zippy synths, all bursting with joy as the funky beats roll on and the lush vocals soar to new heights.

Shining lights in London’s queer electronic underground, prolific duo FAFF make their debut on Phantasy with the ‘A Few Good Days’ EP, featuring three tracks reverberating the smudged euphoria of the capital’s rave scene, both past and present. Drawing equally on peak-time club catharsis and the emotive experimentation of golden-era IDM and electro, these recordings meld the pair’s diverse DJ sets and ambient live work, which has captivated festivals including Draimollen, Field Maneuvers, and Body Movements.

The title track, ‘A Few Good Days, ’ melds hypnotic percussion, snatches of vocal euphoria, and a stuttering break for instant post-rave afterglow. Its wandering but compelling arrangement subtly invokes and updates the pioneering aesthetic of One Dove, Sabres of Paradise, or even William Orbit. The tempo tilts skywards for ‘Tracy’s Night Out’, a peak-time display of FAFF’s studio prowess that fuses choral techno drama with a shamelessly bouncing bassline designed to tear up any respectable sound system. Emerging from the sweat and strobes for a wide-eyed stroll home, ‘Tracy’s Daydream’ wishes away the EP with delicate, textural delight, floating gently on pure analogue reverie.

Berlin-based Japanese DJ and producer Hisashi presents his debut EP on Snapout, The Snapout's Squad Day3 called The Place 2 B. A sonic snapshot of his unique world, the release blends deep grooves, playful textures, and emotive layers that reflect both the dance floor and the introspective moments beyond it. This EP marks Day 3 in the ongoing Snapout’s Squad series — each edition capturing a new chapter in the evolving narrative. Joining him is long-time friend and fellow artist Riku Sugimoto, who contributes a warm and trippy remix, adding his own perspective while staying true to the original spirit. A heartfelt first step, crafted between Berlin nights and nostalgic memories of home.

Raised in the center of the Inland Empire in Southern California, Alek Tzul (aka DJ SAKEE) is one of the several DJs contributing to the vinyl-only act currently in Los Angeles. Known for initially playing DIY warehouse parties, and a few cities outside of California, anyone who has witnessed a performance knows he has a driving passion for his craft on turntables and within his music production.

Continuing the release series on our town of multicultural multimedia hub called Sakskøbing, which has been named after a lovely place in Denmark. This time a true veteran of electronic music DJ Honesty steps up under his moniker Honeydrop. Delivering four cuts of honest house music infused with elements of dub and break this release is guaranteed to cause the turntables feeling good and appreciated, they will be asking you for more. Hans has been producing music fanatically for long time with first official releases dating back to 1995 so it is a true honour to welcome him to the label 30 years later, now in 2025. The release is an intergalactic warm blanket with music on it that is completely ready for different moods and settings of the events/parties/listening sessions one might find itself in. Starting with “Penha de Franca” right until the last track named after the release’s title “Free at Last” a smooth ride can be felt which hopefully by the end of it will set the listener free, if it needs to do so. Driving, hypnotic, groove-laden techno with Detroit-inspired elements. Jeton Records proudly unveils its first-ever vinyl release, crafted by label founder and visionary Ferhat Albayrak. The Velodrome EP delivers four meticulously produced tracks that shift between peak-time energy and atmospheric depth, blending timeless influences with a modern edge. When two underground icons like James Curd and Fred P join forces, the result is more than just acollaboration-it's a cross-continental meeting of deep house minds. The track was born in James Curd's Adelaide studio while Fred P was in Australia, capturing a rare and organic creative moment between two respected figures in house music. James Curd, known for his work with Greenskeepers and his extensive catalog across labels like Classic, Defected, and DFA, brings a playful yet precise groove, while Fred P, the introspective deep house pioneer behind Black Jazz Consortium, adds soulful depth and hypnotic finesse. Berlin musician and DJ Nastia Reigel presents her debut solo album, Identity, on Function's legendary Infrastructure New York imprint. Following a constant output of EPs on heavy-hitting techno labels like fabric, Rodhad's WSNWG and Token, and playing regularly at the likes of Berghain, Reigel now returns with new music that pushes deep into the core of her craft. She has honed and sharpened her sound into something sleeker and more uninhibited. Identity embodies the core of Nastia's production DNA, showcasing her as a powerful and precise engineer. These eight new tracks, mixed by herself, all offer something distinct and carry her unmistakable signature. Black vinyl LP. Following 2019's acclaimed self-titled debut album, Metal Preyers take the left hand path into a gloomy backwater filled with haunted creatures and fraught with peril. "Shadow Swamps" again finds London-based Jesse Hackett handling the music and Chicago's Mariano Chavez fashioning the album's visual identity, which this time includes a short film and book for a fully immersive experience. "Shadow Swamps" is the soundtrack to a pitch-black fairy tale about a father and daughter as they journey through a swamp avoiding gremlins, red swines and crater creatures. Musically, it pivots between the clattering Czech new wave experimentation of "Valerie and her Week of Wonders" composer Luboš Fišer, or the magical, eccentric lounge of Birmingham's Broadcast, and the grinding industrial grot of Italian pioneer Maurizio Bianchi. This time around, Hackett has roped in production assists from his six year-old-daughter wonder Nyasha hackett who used phone memos to record herself singing - veteran Metal Preyers collaborator Lord Tusk, and Manchester-based painter, DJ and producer Richard Harris, aka Sockethead. The crew inks an unsettling, richly textured sonic landscape, with claws of rhythmic smoke curling around chiming otherworldly xylophone, disembodied fiddle drones echoing over screwed 'n chopped beatbox dirt and half-heard magical vocals buried under clouds of white noise. When it comes to Latin soul, Bobby Matos And The Combo Conquistadores 'Tema De Alma Latina', has to be up there as one of the heaviest tracks ever recorded. This much-loved Latin workout has been rocking dancefloors for years with its infectious, driving energy and pulsating rhythms. Released in 1968, the 'My Latin Soul' album on Philips Records now receives a welcome reissue on Mr Bongo. It’s a sheer delight throughout and a premier example of the Nu Yorican sound that was thriving in New York in the ‘60s.

From a young age, the Bronx, New York-born Latin jazz percussionist Bobby Matos found inspiration through the conga drum masters Mongo Santamaría and Patato Valdez (who he had informal backstage lessons with) and timbales legends Willie Bobo and Tito Puente. Bobby was drawn into New York's club scene and began playing in the vibrant ‘60s beat / bohemian Greenwich Village cafes, followed by stints in a wide range of different venues. These included Bronx dance halls and after-hours clubs in El Barrio, through to the elegance of Carnegie Hall, Central Park concerts, and off-Broadway theatres.

Later relocating to Los Angeles, Bobby played an important role in spreading Latin music far and wide. He became an inspiration to many on the jazz dance and acid jazz scenes in the ‘80s / '90s where his recordings were picked and played, becoming prized collector items amongst DJs. The track 'Tema De Alma Latina' was immortalised as a classic for many, after being featured on the Gilles Peterson’s Street Sounds Jazz Juice 5 compilation in 1987. A captivating listen from start to finish, the album features other treats such as the dynamic album opener ‘Nadie Baila Como Yo’, the blazing flute led 'Mambo Maxims', and the blistering piano shuffler 'Raices'.

A truly iconic Latin classic whether you’re being reunited with it like an old friend or discovering it as a fresh new find.

Call Sender is the collaborative brainchild that unites the talents of Paul Elliott, a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and recording engineer from Suffolk/UK and Michael Reed, a multi-talented instrumentalist, recording engineer, and drummer residing in the Bay Area/USA. Despite working together for the past four years, the pair are yet to meet in person!

After connecting on social media over their love of drum breaks and vintage reverbs Elliott and Reed fostered their creative partnership by bouncing recordings back and forth via email and this virtual collaboration resulted in their first album, the jazz-funk inspired “Lost To The Storm” (Tru Thoughts, 2023). With four singles from the album gaining radio play and becoming a favourite for tastemakers and DJs, the pair began work on the follow up “Golden Langur”. With this new record, the aim was to retain their signature Call Sender sound, a heady mix of B-movie soundtracks, classic library music and psychedelic funk and soul, but also introduce elements of lo-fi soul as well as collaborating with some of their talented friends as featured artists.

These features include fantastic instrumental contributions from the incomparable funkmaster Shawn Lee (Ping Pong Orchestra/Young Gun Silver Fox) on “Brainforests” and the legendary JJ Whitefield (Poets Of Rhythm/Whitefield Brothers) who kicks ass in two tempos on “Two Tails”. Not to mention the silky-smooth vocals from the Bay Area’s Andre Cruz, vocal duet from Lucid Paradise that is reminiscent of Gil Scott Heron and Paul Elliott’s seven year old son Buddy drops a vocal on the future B-boy classic “Rainbow”. Together Call Sender has an old-school vintage foundation with a modern perspective. Influenced by iconic acts such as Klaus Weiss, Miles Davis and Nino Nardini and with a hip and funky sonic aesthetic, Call Sender’s music is nostalgic without being pastiche, has a sense of travelling at its core, having been recorded in different parts of the globe, while never hesitating on the direction of the music.

In a fusion of science and sound, Kalocain's debut vinyl release, "Genetic Memory," unfolds an eerie tale. "W.N.G." opens a portal to an ancient world, where forgotten tongues unveil cryptic secrets. "Genetic Memory" weaves ethereal connections between ancestral recollections and the present, warping the fabric of time. "Ivermectin" delves into the surreal realms of molecular melodies, as if sonic DNA deciphers sound's enigmas. Remixes from Normal 4, Patricia Kokett, and Jacques Satre reshape the auditory cosmos with a dash of the bizarre.

To amplify the weirdness, Evaldas Bubinas aka Hermandrowning, concocts mind-bending artwork, beckoning listeners into a realm where sound and art meld in uncanny harmony.

But that's not all! The digital copy unveils an additional original track, "Groove Drift," along with a wild array of remixes by Henry Greenleaf, Frankfurt Bass, and Dogpatrol.

"Genetic Memory" isn't just music; it's a transcendent odyssey blending the past, present, and the surreal future, with a digital twist that will leave you questioning the boundaries of sonic exploration.

Continuing the percussive-driven and emotive themes from his previous EPs, CAIN reaches beyond the boundaries of experimental electronic and Celtic music from the Scottish Highlands. "Lineage" is the result of a life-long goal to combine his passion and experience in these respective worlds. The album includes Brighde Chaimbeul on Scottish small pipes, James Mackenzie on flute and vocals by Katie Mackenzie.

The common thread that connects his discography is the intense rhythmic and melodic elements that convey his love of ‘infectious rhythm, ethereal beauty, or an otherworldly strangeness’. His productions have garnered support from DJs like Ben UFO, Gilles Peterson, Peggy Gou, Hunee, Haai, Erol Alkan, Ame, Oneman, and Midland, amongst others. Balancing rhythmic precision with profound harmonic depth, CAIN weaves evocative builders that ignite dancefloors at peak time and reveal intricate sonic tapestries in the intimate confines of headphones.

CAIN's musical background is rooted in traditional Scottish bagpipe music, which evolved through his competitive performances on an international level. His experience and knowledge enhanced CAIN’s understanding of how regional folk music reflects specific environments and cultures. Through the competition circuit he met Brìghde Chaimbeul, out on the scenic games fields of Uist, Glenfinnan and many others. He also competed against James Mackenzie, an amazing piper and flautist. James is a former member of the band Breabach. His wife, Katie Mackenzie is a superb Gaelic singer.

The recordings with James and Katie were done on the island of Bernera, off the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides and recordings with Brìghde were made in Edinburgh.

LodoLand is an album performed, arranged, mixed, mastered and produced by Roberto Lodola. DJ and producer since 1982, Lodola is a pioneer of the afro, funky disco, balearic, electronic and world music sound. He alternates his performances between Italy and Ibiza, where he promotes a unique and personal style, rich in influences and contaminations that the White Island -- the capital of electronic music -- has deeply etched into his musical identity. A blend of styles and cultures that could be defined as afro balearic. Vocals on Marley Eh by Rae, vocals on Manda Toto by Sofiya Nzau, and Weya by Jelani. Percussion on Faith In You by George Aghedo.

An independent label by DJs, for DJs, and of DJs based in Tokyo since 2024. Run by YAMADAtheGIANT and his friends, our passion lies in updating the classic house style through modern underground artists. All our tracks are designed for the dance floor and for slow mixing by house DJs. Each track has been curated and played at underground parties by underground DJs before its release.

The idea of the project is to reconstruct a different perspective of Tribal Italia, an imprint set in 1995 in Riccione.

The label recollected the attitude of the Afro/Cosmic djs of the region like Meo, Fary, Fattori and Brahms that created a distinctive "world-sound trademark" in whole Italy and Europe (as seen lately in the Austrian experiments of Stefan Egger).

There was a side of the label that was clearly influenced by the "heavy-sample" culture of Hip-Hop and, especially, by what was going on in the UK where groups like Transglobal Underground and Loop Guru were creating a new identitarian imagination.

Gwenan Spearing, known for her perceptive, groove-oriented DJ sets, and more recently as a live performer working with hardware improvisation, launches a new imprint, Phase Space, with Degrees of Freedom, a debut album diving deep into generative electronics, modular systems, and real-time response. Composed and recorded in 2019-2020, the album treats constraint as creative fuel, floating between ambient,
sonic sculpture, and improvisation, mapping Gwenan’s path from rural Wales to Berlin’s outer zones of experimental sound.
Sync opens with a theme on a slow triangle wave, expanding the space as it evolves. Some Pluck explores generative counterpoint using LFOs and Euclidean rhythms. Generator I unfolds in an oscillating time where keyboard and bass circuits cross-modulate. Sleep Pressure is a lullaby for grown-ups, capturing that eerie threshold before sleep, followed by Loper, where time flows fluid and unstable. The closer, Generator II, holds machine heartbeats in delicate equilibrium before unraveling into graceful decay, a soft farewell. (That’s the Universe waving.) Degrees of Freedom is algorithmic music with a pulse: visceral, hand-wired, and built for deep listening.

Celebrated producer Tom Sharkett recently took it upon himself to do his own edit of LCD Soundsystem's ‘Home’, reworking the classic cut from 2010’s This Is Happening purely out of love for the track and LCD Soundsystem.

Sitting quietly online, Sharkett’s edit caught the attention of Flo Dill, Breakfast Show DJ on NTS Radio who played the track twice in one show.

This then caught the attention of the band and it wormed its way into their hearts and never left. As a result they felt there was only one thing they could do - make it official.

Hot Piroski Boss Robin 12Tree Beams Back with “Interstellar Vibes Vol. 1” A Balearic Odyssey in 5 Tracks.. Strap in and sunscreen up - Robin 12Tree is back with Interstellar Vibes Vol. 1, a scorching 5-track EP of cosmic Nu Disco and Balearic goodness inspired by strobe lights, sunsets and surfside odysseys. Opening blast The Wriggler is a peaktime disco/house rocket, all teasing arps and synth liftoffs. Feelin Free glides into deeper territory, with lush strings giving nods to deep house royalty. Then comes Who Will Heal Us, a slo-mo sunset serenade featuring new Barcelona rising soul queen, MaYa. Things get extra-terrestrial with Need You In My Life, a deep-house jam born from a Barcelona afters with Soul Mekanik’s Danny Mekanik. Finally, Tupambame brings us gently back to Earth, dripping sunshine and jazzy warmth thanks to Tanzanian vocalist Miss Vivandra. Robin 12Tree launched Hot Piroski from his Barcelona bunker in 2018, scoring early BBC Radio 1 love with his N’Gwode edit. His studio passport is stamped by the likes of Jose Padilla, Stanton Warriors, Visage, Keith Flint and more. Whether as one half of Bubble Club, founder of The Backstage Sluts, or Slyde co-pilot, he’s brought Balearic vibes to Fabric, Bugged Out!, and far-flung festivals from Australia to South America - often as The Prodigy’s tour DJ. Leeds-based producer Nathan Alexander kicks off KUJE's debut release with PROFETIA EP, a bold four-tracker that drips personality and club-focused energy.
A rising name turning heads from the likes of Blasha & Allatt and NIX, Nathan brings his signature blend of cheeky rhythms and weighty low-end to the table. KUJE001 proudly marks the first chapter of the label's journey, dedicated to unearthing raw, unfiltered talent.
The A-side delivers serious impact: Bound is a propulsive dancefloor tool built for DJs, while Rabbit Hole hits hard with distorted effects and a Blawan-esque edge. On the flip, Tracer floats into spacey, bounding territory with a touch of psychedelic energy, already picking up early support. Closing the release is Technical Itch, a UK-rooted banger that ties together the artist's heritage with the label's forward-thinking intent.
Each track carries Nathan's unmistakable character-playful, punchy, and irresistibly 2-steppable. This is techno with a wink, made for sweat-soaked floors and heads-down moments alike.

A favourite selector for many within the underground, UK-born, Ibiza-based Miller has built a reputation for his hypnotic, low-end-led productions and seamless ability to weave obscure rhythmic patterns into immersive DJ sets. Founder of the Real Gang collective, he honed his craft as a resident at Ibiza institutions The Zoo Project and Ibiza Underground, where his dynamic, vinyl-focused style earned him recognition as a key player in the island’s grassroots scene. This natural progression has since led to the launch of Tomodachi, his new club, an intimate space that refl ects his artistic ethos and evolving infl uence on the island.

Harley Maxwell, meanwhile, brings a raw energy to the project, blending his sharp vocal delivery and lyrical edge with Miller’s meticulous production style. Their collaborative debut at fabric, during Miller’s all-night set, showcased a shared ability to push conventional boundaries, as they provided a fi rst glimpse into the music that would in turn become ‘Caviar’.

The EP opens with the title cut, a stripped-back yet infectious roller that glides between deep basslines, textured percussion, and subtle melodic fl ourishes. ‘How It Runs’ follows with its sharp drum work, zippy synths, and a playful groove built for the dancefl oor. Rounding off the release, the vinyl-only ‘Dreaming Experience’ sees Miller step out solo as he delves into deeper territories with hazy atmospherics, creating a tripped-out late-night journey. Arriving at a pivotal moment for both artists, their ‘Caviar’ EP signals a bold debut on FUSE – a label celebrated for its commitment to forward-thinking club music.

Side A brings “The Blues”, a serious house stomper both spacey and melancholic and “Clapper”, a fierce and alien boogie slapper. B Side introduces “Diamonds”, a rolling sci-fi / jazz hybrid with freeform live sax and keys, and closes with “Black and Green”, a driving house groove featuring an addicting acid bassline and precise drum programming.

All tracks were mastered by José Rico who brings some extra fattiness to the tunes.

The Netherlands Dennis Quin makes a welcome return to Kaoz Theory this September with ‘New York To Amsterdam’, featuring one collaboration with the legendary Mr. V and accompanied by remixes from Rotterdam’s underground royalty, Benny Rodrigues. Dutch house maestro Dennis Quin returns to Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory imprint with a brand-new EP, reaffirming his position as one of Europe’s most consistent purveyors of groove-led, rhythm-driven house music. With a career spanning acclaimed releases on PIV, Beeyou, Dungeon Meat and on his own label Eardrums, Quin’s work seamlessly bridges deep house heritage with contemporary dancefloor energy.

Opening the EP, ‘New York Accent’ sets the tone with a classic New York house vibe—raw drums, choppy chords, and snippets of street-level vocal samples. ‘Hard Days Work’ dives deeper into house territory with shimmering piano keys, dreamy chord progressions, and crisp percussion layered with twitchy synths, sax flourishes, and soulful vocal hooks. Rounding off the release, Benny Rodrigues reworks ‘New York Accent’, retaining its essence while injecting his signature rhythmic grit and intricate dynamism.

Celestial Echo is back with another funky bomb on 45, a hyper-rare track that only came out on demo from the label Midland International, The Medlows “Love (Part 1)" has been a secret spin for a lot of soul djs. A real favourite of label boss miche - he just featured it on his latest comp even, but this 45 is backed with a dancefloor ready extended edit from Bristol disco king Admin.

This has to be some of the heaviest soul to ever be pressed and kept in the shadows, once it’s in your record bag, it wont be leaving in a hurry.

Austin Ato is back with Vol 2 of his I Love Your Edits series. “Lisa” is a rolling, modern house take on an early 2000s forgotten hip hop banger. “Carnival” is a rework of a jazz-funk classic with whole new layers of live keys and chopped-percussion. Was built to be a DJ set closer. “Human” reworks our Icelandic queen into a swung, deep house tune. “Pop Off” takes French disco, chops it up and lays fat synth basslines over it.
