Presented across 2 x 140g vinyl discs in Rutan Blob green, this 1977 TV soundtrack is narrated by Louise Jameson, who plays Leela in the story. The supporting cast includes Colin Douglas, John Abbott, Alan Rowe, Sean Caffrey and Annette Woollett. Incidental music is composed by Dudley Simpson, and the familiar strains of the Doctor Who theme are courtesy of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

• Black Francis explains the album was given the title as “they're ODDBALLS. There was once a time when even I was asked to
provide additional content for auxiliary releases of main published works. It was great. They didn't care what the new content was
they just needed it. Yesterday. So awesome. I get to go back into the studio and obsess a little more with no one to bother me,
except by then the bank was mostly blown so we did not have a lot of TIME. Well, sometimes, fuck time.”

Marc Bolan’s passions included the blues, soul, rock ‘n’ roll, hard rock and disco-soul, and his intent to explore these genres are all visited on this collection of classic album tracks and singles. • Released in March 1993, “Suede” was the fastest-selling debut album ever in the UK.
• Available on vinyl for the first time in the US, the album contains what Rolling Stone called “its triptych of instantly classic singles” - “The Drowners”, “Metal Mickey” and “Animal Nitrate”.
• At the time, the album’s release in the US was hampered by an injunction from an existing US act called Suede. As a result, the band’s subsequent album releases in the US were ‘branded’ as being by “The London Suede”, but the first album was never re-branded.

• After their huge success throughout the 90s, Suede called it a day (for the first time) in 2003. The Suede Information Service (SIS) compiled and issued this special collection of demos, acoustic versions and other curios in 2004. Only 2000 CDs were manufactured, and these were distributed free to the members of the SIS.
• Whilst some of the tracks have appeared on the Edsel reissues, several tracks, including “Elaine Paige”, the Mick Jones remix of the band’s last single “Attitude” and the live French version of “The Power” have not been reissued since 2004.
• This release also marks the first time this collection has been issued on vinyl.

Demon Records presents Distortion: 1996-2007, the second in a series of four expansive vinyl box sets chronicling the solo career of legendary American musician Bob Mould.
Bob Mould’s career began in 1979 with the iconic underground punk group Hüsker Dü before forming the beloved alternative rock band Sugar and releasing numerous critically acclaimed solo albums. Volume two in this new series covers 1996 to 2007, beginning with the 1996 self-titled solo album and continuing through to Mould’s 2006 collaboration with Rich Morel BLOWOFF.

• In January 1985, The Mark Four reformed for a one-off show in Cheshunt, and subsequently Eddie Phillips and original lead vocalist Kenny Pickett reunited to make some new Creation recordings. At the time, only two tracks – “Spirit Called Love” and a new version of “Making Time” – were issued as a single in 1987, before the record label went out of business. These two tracks plus the remainder of the recordings were finally issued as the album “Psychedelic Rose” in 2004.

• Creation Records founder Alan McGee named his label after the band, and named his band Biff Bang Pow after one of their songs. So perhaps it was no surprise when in 1995 he came up with the idea of The Creation recording a song called “Creation” to be released on the Creation label. In the wake of reunion shows at The Mean Fiddler in 1993 and 1995, the original line-up re-convened, and the recordings expanded into an album. “Power Surge” was released in 1996.
• The album is pressed on 140 gram clear vinyl.

In 1988, after their fifth album for the Virgin label, Martyn Ware, Ian Craig Marsh and Glenn Gregory decided to rest Heaven 17. In 1996, after various British Electric Foundation and individual projects, the ensemble re-grouped to record “Bigger Than America” (now available on DEMREC414 on orange vinyl).

In 1998, Heaven 17 decided to play live for the first time, and a concert was recorded and released in 1999 as “How Live Is”. Aside from a blistering version of “Temptation”, the album also features H17 faves “(We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang”, “Crushed By The Wheels Of Industry” and Human League’s “Being Boiled”.

The record is pressed on 140 gram clear vinyl.

Following the release of “Before After”, Heaven 17 returned to the studio in 2008.

“Naked As Advertised – Versions 08” featured new interpretations of Human League and Heaven 17 classics like “Empire State Human”, “Penthouse And Pavement”, and “We Live So Fast”, alongside a cover version of The Associates’ “Party Fears Two”.
