Over the last few years we have all seen an emergence of new methods of spreading and accessing music. Some might say this is normal market evolution, we say we keep enjoying music as we always have, on vinyl that is!We love vinyl; we love its sound, we love its shape & we love the feel of it in our hands.. Our goal is to offer a medium, paying particular attention to the recording process, which will not only conserve the cherished ritual of music listening, but will also deliver a properly put-together abundance of well made, richly defined ear snacks, from genres of all sorts both old and new.

We welcome David Jach (Deich Records, Kol Mojito, Mangue Records) - DJ
and Promoter from Dresden, Germany on Cometomusic. After delivering a hot remix for Raumakustik´s 'Glaub Mir Doch' David presents a great melodic and charming Original with two massive remixes - a straight one by Minimal Lounge (Damm Records, Rennbahn, 040 Recordings) and a house remix by Timo Jahns (9Volt, Freundchen, Klang Gymnastik)

After releases and remixes out on Lovemonk Records and Nickodemus' Wonderwheel label Pablo Sanchéz is currently throwing out hot jams from his studio in Barcelona.
For GAMM he sorted us with a blazin' discoish dub of Pointer Sisters 'Yes We Can Can' that gives the original a more dj friendly push.
On the b-side 'Monkiez' delivers a classic meltdown of hip hop beats Thelonius Monk jazz samples.

We have a release by another amazing up-and-coming talent from Australia: NATHAN G! Nathan had a fantastic 2010, with huge releases for Miguel Migs' Salted imprint (88 Keys to Love) and for Large Music (No Limit, Inner Spirit). Here, Nathan delivers two stellar deep house cuts: Blur The Line and Diamonds In The Sky.

Three artists contribute to this exciting new Splitsound!The veteran Tony Matt (also known as Gummish) producer for over 15 years delivers two tracks full of groove: "Alcatraz" and "Chrome". On this last one puts the hands the german Martin Woerner that creates a remix for cool dancefloors. On the B side instead find the young Monque, that offers its own hit (been played last year by ELLEN ALLIEN,RICHIE HAWTIN,RINO CERRONE,CAROLA PISATURO,SETH TROXLER,XPANSUL) in 2010 version.

Just before the end of the year Mute. finally returns on the mighty Symp.tom imprint after a very long absence. Luckily, all that lost time wasn't in vein as he delivers a stunning release in his own unique style.

Roland Sebastian Faber delivers two electronic disco pop tunes with racing melodies, catchy and haunting energetic. months after the last Uturn output it's time for some news. The project C-MEM delivers this great debut contribution to the selective catalog of the Uturn label, the rude dark brother of Kanzleramt. The project fits perfectly with the small but like-minded Uturn label family. It's functional chord-techno without any intellectual concepts or advancements but with deep production skills and effective pure essentials.

Paris player Le Loup and Pura launch their new label Shadow Play with a four-track collection of avant-garde house music delivered boxfresh from the studio. As a solo artist, and one half of Hold Youth, Le Loup has cultivated a nuanced sound that is steeped in soulful jazzy influences, with a nod to the future and plenty of soul. On this first EP we're presented with a showcase of this sound, and a hint at what's to come on the brand new label... To get things rolling we have the very first track 'The Ancient Ways', which is quite laid back and minimal in its composition. There's breathing space for the beats and bass, with an eerie atmosphere pervading throughout. 'Ygam' is next up with a wobbly bassline, cosmic death rays and sinister effects lurking in the background - it feels like the soundtrack to a deep space thriller.

On the B-side things get ravey with 'Acid Surface'. Retro breakbeats and stuttered toms support a dangerously alluring symphony of effects and pads. At the heart of the track is a deep subby bassline, transmitting an ancient, yet cosmic vibe.

Under their exael moniker, Berlin-based producer Naemi makes highly imaginative music that can be seen as a study in contrasts - precise, hyper-detailed drum programming sits atop fuzzy, organic pools of ambience, virtuosic futurism is wrung from a falling apart laptop. Following a string of excellent releases, both solo and in group settings, “Flowered Knife Shadows” features eight productions that feel like the full realization of the project, demonstrating the artist’s range and knack for vivid, pressurized productions. From the dextrous, chops-flexing “Koch Metish” to the sanguine “Reality’s Sweetheart,” Naemi’s clarity of vision and instantly recognizable aesthetic are delivered here with remarkable potency. Frost on the window, whispers in the dark.
