After buying the right kind of warehouse, you have to build the energy in the room for what feels like an eternity until the precise moment the vape circle starts gettin’ out of control and Dionysus the Greek God of Greek Promoters tears through the very fabric of reality and screams “t??a!” right in your goddamned face. All of which brings us to Color Code, the latest EP from new Turbo sensation Dean Grenier.

Every single one of these four tracks is killer, a term industry demands have forced us use lightly in the past, but not this time, mister. This is sexually-viable sci-fi techno that rewrites your genetic code to give future generations a better chance at exhibiting club-friendly phenotypes like dance antlers or even more powerful sweat glands. At the snap of a glowstick, any of these selections will take your next set from “good” to “very good” on a scale of “good” to “shitty” to “very good.” That is our promise to you, no matter who you are or how much we care what you think.

The material featured on this EP was recorded in Berlin over the course of a legendary week-long exploit, the kind you read about at the movies. The music is a marriage of dark synth hooks and atmospheric sound design resulting from extensive Berghain-monitored brain damage. It is very fortunate that both artists were wearing their Twin Turbo friendship bracelets at the time or they may have never even gotten past the door. In terms of raw intelligence, the top one percent of those reading of this will have picked up on the cues that these tracks are techno. The rest have nothing to feel bad about. Our hope is that both communities can work out their cognitive differences on the dance floor every night for the rest of their lives. Our business model depends on it.

Resilience is an album that calls on the classic rave sounds of Chrissy's Midwestern youth to explore themes of love, positivity, perserverence, acceptance, and the fight against cynicism. Get ready for big piano melodies, chopped breakbeats, heavy bass, and jacking Chicago drum programming, plus guest appearances from some of Chrissy's friends: vocalist Carrie Wilds, Portuguese DJ/producer/singer Maria Amor, and Berlin-based techno artist Dean Grenier. PILO makes his full-length debut on BNR with the pure dance-floor grit of his Original 'Flourishes' EP. Following his breakout Boys Noize collaborative single 'Cerebral' and Miami Noize 2016 highlight 'Break Me Down', the rising star has hit full stride with a four track assemblage packed with his signature textures and ethereal mesh. 'Flourishes' brings out PILO's full range as it puts forward both the relentless darkness seen in past
productions coupled with a fresh emotive momentum exemplary of a year locked away in his Los Angeles studio. The result is a new direction for PILO and an evolving soundscape far beyond his years. And his mom loves it.

Max Ulis wrote The Plug soon after acquiring a syncussion, the twisted rubbery lead makes way to a euphoric synth line, perfect vibes for a trippy late night set. Dean J. Grenier joins forces with Max Ulis for Acid Cove, an electro tinged track which was made after a psychedelic outing at the beach in the Pacific North West. Yoyaku artist Varhat takes The Plug and sculpts it into a minimal heater on his debut North American release. With 22 alias’ and global recognition building the Yoyaku brand, this remix is a must-have for your record collection.

Introducing yet another sonic tale by Moving Pictures coming from the overseas. Our forthcoming record marks label's 10th vinyl release and welcomes Philadelphia based artist Alex Burkat to the roster.

The EP features two original tracks by Alex Burkat and Hungarian musician Kin Teal, including slow-burning remix from Los Angeles based artist Dean Grenier. Last but not least, label's in-house power duo Aerial join in on remix duties and deliver a hypnotic closing track.

The Daniel Avery supported Russian DJ Dimitri Veimar preps his debut 17 Steps release, the ‘Planet EP’.

Planet opens up with screeching atmospherics, chuggy percussion and a brooding bassline that works it’s way towards a breathless synth line perfectly suited for pre-dawn hours.

Dean Grenier’s classy stripped back and sped up flip of the title track retains a crisp four-on-the-floor rhythm tailor made for the Berlin clubs he calls home.

On the B side 'Snowfall’ carries on where the A side left off. Electro synths and muffled breaks portray the sounds of a UFO control deck transporting the listener to an other worldly utopia.

The closing track ‘Alps’ is a stunning downtempo club tool that ends up forming the emotional centrepiece of the EP.
