Die Band hat sich erneut mit Bob Weston zusammengetan, um die Original-Masterbänder sorgfältig zu remastern. "Rumah Sakit 25" enthält neues Cover-Artwork von alten Freunden und Mitarbeitern, Jeremiah Maddock und Marty Anderson. Die umfangreiche 180-Gramm-Gatefold-2xLP in Audiophile-Qualität enthält vollfarbige Innenhüllen mit Hunderten von bisher unveröffentlichten Fotos, die die inspirierte Anfangszeit der Band dokumentieren, sowie ein massives 24-seitiges Kunstbuch im Format mit bisher unveröffentlichten Kunstwerken von Maddock. Es ist ein exquisites Werk, das eine Band meisterhaft einfängt, die letztendlich die nachfolgenden Künstler inspirierte und deren spätere Zusammenarbeit mit Foals, Pinback, Sweep the Leg Johnny, Sleeping People und HEY!TONAL unterstreicht, wie einzigartig vielfältig und produktiv Rumah Sakit wirklich waren. Rumah Sakit war eine vierköpfige Rockband aus San Francisco, Kalifornien. Die Gruppe begann 1998 Gestalt anzunehmen, nachdem Gitarrist John Baez, Bassist Kenseth Thibideau und Schlagzeuger Jeff Shannon alle von Redlands nach San Francisco gezogen waren. Nachdem Gitarrist Mitch Cheney schnell hinzukam, war die Band komplett und entschied sich für den Namen Rumah Sakit - eine wörtliche indonesische Übersetzung von ,Krankenzimmer" (alias Krankenhaus) - und einen Sound, der die frenetische Energie von King Crimson aus der "Red"-Ära mit einer meditativen Melodik verband, die in starkem Kontrast zu den meisten ,Math-Rock"-Bands dieser Zeit stand. Bald darauf betrat Rumah Sakit zum ersten Mal das Studio, um ihr gleichnamiges Debütalbum aufzunehmen. "Rumah Sakit" wurde 1999 im ehrwürdigen Music Annex Studio in zwei etwas geheimen Nachtsessions mit den Studio Praktikanten/guten Freunden/angehenden Toningenieuren Jay & Ian Pellicci aufgenommen. Das Album entstand nach einer ,No Tricks"-Philosophie, die den Ansatz der Band beim Spielen und Aufnehmen ihrer Musik prägen sollte. Aufgenommen vollständig live ohne Overdubs in nur wenigen Takes, nutzte die Band die Kunst, die natürliche Präsenz des Raumes und die strategische Platzierung der Geräte, um die reinste und genaueste Darstellung dieser Songs in diesen Momenten einzufangen. In einer Zeit, die schnell durch die aufkommende Popularität von ProTools und akribisch manikürten, maximalistischen Mixes verändert wurde, war die Welt von Rumah Sakit eine erfrischende Atempause. Ein Jahr später, im Herbst 2000, flog Rumah Sakit den renommierten Chicagoer Toningenieur und Shellac-Bassist Bob Weston nach San Francisco, um zwei kurze Tage lang eine neue EP im schäbigen Tiny Telephone Recording aufzunehmen. Diese EP wurde Teil der Abonnement-CD-Reihe ,Travels In Constants" von Temporary Residence (neben Veröfffentlichungen von Mogwai, Low, Explosions In The Sky, Eluvium und MONO). Abgesehen von der Originalauflage von 1.000 CDs, die für Abonnenten reserviert waren, waren die Studioaufnahmen auf Travels In Constants bis jetzt nie wieder erhältlich.

God = doG is the collective around Belpop icon Rudolf Hecke and consists of Nikkie van Lierop (Erotic Dissidents, Praga Khan), Toon Derison (Steven De Bruyn, El Fish), Klaas Tomme (Iskander Moon, Illuminae), and Yassin Joris (Jokke, Naima Joris).

Rudolf Hecke's LP “God is doG spelled backwards” was voted the best Belgian album of 1989 by De Morgen. Humo crowned him “The Nick Cave of Flanders”.

36 years and many musical adventures later, he is back with a strong, dark, and atmospheric album comparable to the works of, for example, This Mortal Coil: different styles of songs sung by different band members. The album is produced by Hecke, David Poltrock, and Ian Caple. Additional lead vocals are by Elsje Helewaut.

Rudolf has also proven to be a gifted author and speaker. On 26 October 2024, he published his ninth book, How Rough is the Stone?, in which he immerses himself in Freemasonry. The journey to that book was accompanied by the recording of new God=doG songs. Mutual influence, symbolism, questioning, insights, and reflection emerged.

Official reissue of the self-released first Mac Machine single from 1983. This little gem brings a boogie funk, early rap slap on the a-side; and a deep, soulful tune on the flipside. Both mark the cornerstone of this band from Kassel, North Hesse, Germany. With its playfulness, solid skills on the instruments and a brilliant singer, it revealed a first glimpse of what to expect musically by the band that was founded by former US soldiers in 1982. The re-release comes in a picture sleeve including an insert with liner notes.

'In This World' is starting the party, bringing raps with a critical view on the early 1980s state of the world, featuring a musical remedy that chases all your blues away: "Just shake your head one time and move that behind. Just listen to what I say, and you will go through every day!"

'Let Me Go' tells the agonizing end of a relationship. Too much has happened, and it just doesn't work out anymore. The powerful vocals make one feel the pain, while the female chorus, piano and percussions deepen the sentiments. A funky good-bye, that could make you cry.

A break-laden intro lays the groundwork for a considered foray into the old-school - Senses flecking the mix liberally with synths and female vocal hits of yesteryear, before the welcome crunch of thunderous amens takes over. A cascade of rip-roaring edits
floods the track taking you on an epic ride through the ages, breaks chopped with riotous energy confirming this track as a perfect DJ tool for the dancefloor.

A2 - Sun Runner
Beautifully crisp drums open a DJ-friendly intro to Sun Runner, delightfully clear sounding with distinctive cymbals, a thick snare and subtle bongos. An airy soundscape soon washes into the mix with calming synths and flutes, creating a delicately jazzy blend of styles with soothing melodies contrasting perfectly with the breaks. More pronounced synthwork follows to spice things up as the bassline rumbles along below.

B1 - Spirit Vector
Dense atmospherics are the order of the day as Senses deploys Spirit Vector, opening with an array of synths and strings to create an intro reminiscent of Intense's work in the late 90's. Soon we are treated to a paradoxical assortment of heavy amens that work impeccably in the mix - thundering forth with pads soaring high and a heavy sub bass below. Various instrument samples litter the breakdown before a vocal sample declares "Yes". Yes indeed.

B2 - Still
Closing the EP in style, Still opens with sparse breaks, lightly building with extremely subtle apache breaks in the backdrop with sporadic keys and smooth pads. The drop arrives with warm, room-filling basslines and synths to elevate the atmosphere alongside luscious flute samples.Layers are added to the excellent breaks as Senses sprinkles instrument samples, keys and a classic female vocal, completing a joyous composition for Curvature.

Am 13. Oktober 2023 verabschiedete sich die Melbourne-Band Camp Cope mit einem letzten Auftritt vor einem begeisterten, ausverkauften Publikum in der legendären Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. Alan Parsons Project second studio album "I Robot", widely regarded as one of the greatest concept albums of all time, is re-issued in a variety of different formats including a classic black vinyl, half-speed remastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road studios. East London based quintet IAN bring a sense of jovial camaraderie through their heavy, loud and droning post-rock dirges on debut album 'Come On Everybody, Let’s Do Nothing!' through UK charitable label Human Worth.

IAN (the band) are refreshing newcomers in the UK's heavy underground. The East London based quintet will be releasing their stirring debut album Come On Everybody, Let's Do Nothing! on Vinyl and Digital via independent label Human Worth on October 17th – a labour of love between five old friends and ex-bandmates from Exeter’s fertile early '00s DIY punk scene.

Self-described as "a band that appreciates the peaks and troughs of post-rock as much as the crunch of the riff," IAN's striking debut delivers five dirges that merge earth swallowing riffs with the atmospheres and dynamics of their post-rock heroes, such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, with the bite and visceral heft of Cult Of Luna and Amenra. Thoughtfully captured by Wayne Adams (Petbrick, Big Lad) at his London based Bear Bites Horse studio, IAN craft slowly mounting riffs, with anguished screams, woven with elegant cello playing, field recordings and earthy timbres. Come On Everybody Let’s Do Nothing!, and the band IAN as a whole, is the culmination of 25 years of musical comradeship and the need to find inspiration in films, noise and the drudgery of middle-aged life.

The indie rock darlings became the first Paisley Underground band to sign to a major label, hire a mainstream rock producer, change bass players, and spend months recording the album - after having banged out their previous one, The Days of Wine and Roses, in mere hours. After succesful debut and waves of positive press and , A&M Records signed the Dream Syndicate and they went into the studio with producer Sandy Pearlman, who spent five months in the studio guiding the band through their second LP. ... October might not appear to be the ideal time to release a bright and sunny set of songs, but autumnal days bring a mix of dark and light that perfectly matches the overall vibe of the debut album by the jangly indiepop band, The Felt Tips.
 
The Felt Tips debut album was originally released by Peruvian label Plastilina Records in 2010 to much acclaim in the international indiepop scene. The ten songs are crammed full of catchy melodies and chiming guitar riffs, with memorable lyrics covering everything from religious hypocrisy (Boyfriend Devoted) to what teenagers get up to in the park after dark (Lifeskills).
 
It’s clear that these four lads grew up listening to The Smiths – not only name-checking the 80’s indie darling’s frontman and his ever-expanding girth but also deftly leaning into similar unconventional lyrical themes. And while there’s an obvious Belle and Sebastian comparison being Scottish, musically the enigmatic and skillful guitar playing from Miguel Navarro owes more to Bernard Butler and Johnny Marr – and his talents learning flamenco guitar in his native Spain. The weaving of the guitar’s melodic musical backdrop, alongside the pulse of Kevin Carroll’s inventive drumming and Neil Masson’s intricate bass playing, is what truly elevates The Felt Tips.

 And it’s this juxtaposition of bright melodic tunes from the band and the exploration of the darker side of human nature conjured by Andrew Paterson’s lyrics makes The Felt Tips such a noteworthy addition to the indiepop scene.

Originally recorded at CaVa Sound in Glasgow, the album has been remastered and cut for vinyl by Guy Davie at Electric Mastering, and pressed on INEOS EcoVin™ Bio Vinyl at Press On Vinyl in Middlesbrough. New liner notes have been written by Roque Ruiz, the owner of legendary US-based indiepop label, Cloudberry Records. An extremely limited selection of the reissued albums will ship alongside a make-your-own cardboard rose sculpture created by London-based indie illustrator and maker, Hey Kids Rock ‘n Roll.

Original soundtrack of the film Little Amélie, an adaptation of Amélie Nothomb’s ninth novel The Character of Rain (Métaphysique des tubes), published in 2000 and a major literary success.



From Tokyo, Mari Fukuhara composed an airy and playful score for the film. She blends impressionistic piano (Ravel is never far), childhood timbres (marimba, traditional Japanese songs), and orchestral textures. The shakuhachi (flute) and the koto bring in a Japanese touch, at times lyrical, at times mischievous. The result is a reading and listening experience that is both deeply personal and universal.



The album unfolds like a musical tale in its own right, evocative yet profoundly intimate.



Released in France in June 2025, the film is now campaigning for the Oscars and will premiere in the U.S. in the fall.

Released in 1968, I Wish I Knew found Burke battling with the changing times, which in turn led to changing musical styles and sounds, the title track,
“I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free,” which did manage to hit the Hot 100. Other singles on the album included “Save It,” “Get Out of My Life, Woman,”.

While there’s definitely an unabashed ’68 sound to them, you still can’t go wrong with Solomon Burke.

Born in 1934, Freddie King was nicknamed “The Texas Cannonball,” and his powerful guitar playing could certainly knock you flat. In the late 1960s,
a fan and fellow musical king – King Curtis – brought Freddie into the Atlantic Records for a pair of fine albums.

Jay-Jay Johanson is one of the big names from the thriving Swedish electronic pop scene of the early 2000s. Jay-Jay's interesting
and four decade long career has resulted in a real cult following and interesting collaborations with Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) and The Knife.

In 2002 he had his first real hit single in Sweden with "On the Radio".
Antenna is available as a limited edition of 500 numbered copies on white coloured vinyl.

Swedish singer-songwriter Sophie Zelmani had no musical background whatsoever but managed to rise to the top of the charts with her debut album in 1995.

Zelmani continued to record many albums and has released 13 full-length studio albums so far. Her ninth album Soul was originally released in 2011

and features the duet “For You” with Ethiopian-born, Swedish-based musician Daniel Lemma. Expect a versatile collection of songs blending classic acoustic folk with modern pop sensibilities.

DC Salas is a Belgian DJ and producer from Brussels with Peruvian roots, celebrated for blending house, acid, techno, goa, and early ’90s progressive influences into a distinctive and timeless sound. His music bridges hypnotic grooves with emotional intensity, always crafted with the dancefloor in mind.

Already a part of the Time Passages family through the V.A. compilation Time Passages 24, where he contributed with the track “Perception Of Truth”, DC Salas now makes his full return to the label.

His new four-track EP, “Trapped Inside Your Mind”, expands on his trademark style with depth and precision. Shifting between raw analog energy and atmospheric layers, the record captures both the grit of underground club culture and a sense of introspective exploration—cementing his place as one of Belgium’s most versatile and forward-thinking electronic artists.

Am 26. April 2005 veröffentlichte John Darnielle als The Mountain Goats sein drittes 4AD-Album The Sunset Tree - ein zutiefst persönliches Werk, inspiriert von seiner bewegten Kindheit. Zum 20. Jubiläum erscheint am 17. Oktober 2025 eine Neuauflage (20th Anniversary Edition) mit den 2025er Abbey-Road-Remasters, Original-Artwork und neuem OBI-Design von Chris Bigg, erhältlich digital, auf CD, Kassette und als limitierte apricotfarbene Vinyl. Zudem wurde das Musikvideo zu "This Year", inszeniert von Rian Johnson (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Knives Out), in verbesserter Qualität neu veröffentlicht. Entstanden Ende 2004 mit Produzent John Vanderslice und Musikern wie Peter Hughes, Franklin Bruno und Erik Friedlander, gilt The Sunset Tree bis heute als eines der kohärentesten und bewegendsten Alben der Band. Die 13 Songs, geschrieben nach dem Tod von Darnielles Stiefvater 2003, zeichnen ein vielschichtiges Bild seiner Jugend - geprägt von Familie, Freunden, Gegnern und einer schwierigen Vaterfigur. Darnielle selbst sagte damals, er habe lange gezögert, dieses Material zu verarbeiten, aus Respekt vor dem eigenen Trauma und weil sein Stiefvater noch lebte. Mit Spot The Difference begibt man sich auf eine Reise im chiaroscuro, die das Projekt Balcony`s Paradise in einem neuen Licht erscheinen lässt. Psychedelik setzt eine Veränderung der Wahrnehmung voraus. Vom ersten Stück an machen wir uns auf den Weg in einen zeitlosen Klangraum aus Echos und Resonanzen. O`tool (Chuckamuck/Die Verlierer) ging dieses zweite Album ursprünglich an, indem er zu den Ursprüngen des ersten Albums zurückkehrte, in die Tiefen des australischen Outbacks. Von dort kehrte er mit Songs wieder, die mehr strukturiert, weniger improvisiert, aber genauso eingängig sind. Man findet diesen wilden Charme, eine Garage, die wie aus dem Ärmel geschüttelt scheint. Auf dem Album finden sich auch mehrere Coverversionen, von u.a.Television Personalities, M.O.T.O. sowie Jeff Clarke, Mitglied der Black Lips - Bands, die O'tool musikalisch schon lange beeinflusst haben.

Im Sommer 1968 traf sich der 18-jährige Genesis P-Orridge (damals Neil Andrew Megson) mit Freunden in einem bescheidenen Dachgeschoss, um mit Klängen zu experimentieren. Das Ergebnis war "Early Worm", eine Sammlung von Aufnahmen, die die aufkeimende Kreativität eines Künstlers einfing, der später eine Schlüsselfigur der Avantgarde-Musik werden sollte. Diese Sessions, die 1969 auf ein einziges Acetat gepresst wurden, zeigen eine furchtlose Erforschung von Geräuschen, Improvisationen und Tonbandexperimenten, die Einflüsse von Psychedelia, Fluxus, John Cage und Beatnik Bohemia widerspiegeln. "Early Worm" ist ein Zeugnis für P-Orridges frühes Engagement, musikalische Grenzen zu überschreiten. Die rohen und ungefilterten Klanglandschaften des Albums bieten dem Hörer einen seltenen Einblick in die Gründungsmomente, die schließlich zur Gründung von COUM Transmissions, Throbbing Gristle und Psychic TV führen sollten.
