Following up on the release of his first album in eight years, Agoria has collaborated with enigmatic French musician Jacques on new EP ‘Visit’, out 14th June.

The two-track offering pairs electronic elements with organic, real-world sounds to masterful effect. Title track ‘Visit’ is the best example of this, with a wonky beat trudging through a plethora of immersive sounds. Meanwhile ‘Jardin’, with a grooving bassline, has a greater dancefloor focus.

“The first time I met Jacques, we were sitting at the same table but we didn’t exchange any words,” Agoria explains. The second time, a year later, we started speaking. A lot. During hours. About Vipassana, a technique of meditation that you practice in silence. The third time, I thought I should share his words and breaths, delivering the untold. So I offered him to record a Sapiens Talk. The fourth time, we both agreed it was finally time to record music together.”

Jacques is a musician who pushes back the border between music, sound and noise, using music as a medium of expression on his quest of transversality. Invited to several TEDx conferences to talk about his obsession with the idea of infinity, he has also revealed his new theory called “Vortex”, which he created with Alexandre Gain in 2015.

His first album in eight years, Agoria described Drift as “sitting on your sofa between your guilty pleasure and your tasteful opinion”. The deeply melodic 10-track LP came off the back of a much-lauded Essential Mix for Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show, which was later nominated for Essential Mix Of The Year.

The new release comes amidst Agoria’s first ever Ibiza residency, which kicked off on 31st May at the Blue Marlin. Named after the new album and featuring everyone from DJ Harvey and Gerd Janson to Groove Armada and Idris Elba, the unique day-to-night parties will take place every Friday until 27th September. He will also take his all new live show on tour this summer, with dates including Barcelona’s Primavera Sound, Belgium’s Pukkelpop and Lowlands Festival in Amsterdam.

Returning for his third appearance on Frigio, Maurizio Martinucci (aka TeZ, Most Significant Beat and permanent member of Clock DVA since 2010) introduces one of his darkest works to date. Forged in his studio/lab in Amsterdam, the Italian artist casts three works of industrial paranoia with none other than Clock DVA delivering a very special remix.

The same intensity, the same fevered energy that permeated Dusk, is plain to hear in this production. Pulsating drums are pierced by metallic groans and choking voices for the alienating assault that is “Amna.” Clock DVA take on this factory floor demon, soothing and reworking the original. Keys cascade against throbbing basslines and stuttering rhythms, vocals by Adi Newton taking the form of a poem that circles and swoops in a track of brimming with a primal force. Stalking chords introduce “Dene.” A lancing beat lashes a lone string, static and resonance building as layers of machine noise make their inhuman presence known. The end comes from the hull of an abandoned ship, or so it sounds. Aquatic echo swirls around a spread of sunken snares, shrieks and slicing through the crash and squeal of wrought iron. Primordial music from the mind of Pragma.

TRORA Vol. 2 is Panda Lassow's part two of her interpretation of recent global tropical bass movements like Gqom, Kuduro and more. This time you can hear
influences of her broader network as of her mates from the Principe-fam or Dengue Dengue Dengue.
As born and grown up in Eastern Germany, in TRORA Vol. 2 she combines these with her musical roots she found in techno and rave music.

2nd outing from Jonny Nash & Suzanne Kraft in their MATstudio series. These records are intended to catalogue some of the experiments, explorations, accidents and fortuitous events that regularly take place at their Amsterdam studio. Each record features two compositions created from a collage of works.

For the label's second release, Amsterdam imprint yeyeh has brought together two musicians from vastly different backgrounds to celebrate the far-sighted musical potential of the Theremin on the 100-year anniversary of the instrument's invention.

'Waves' is the product of two weeks of studio collaborations between award-winning composer and Theremin soloist Carolina Eyck and Eversines, an electronic music producer who has previously released music on yeyeh's sister label ninih. It builds on Eyck's work composing for 'Theremin & Voice', with both artists playing a part in processing, modulating, layering and arranging vocal and Theremin sounds to create six breathtaking electronic compositions.

Varied in tone and execution, the album's six tracks are arguably closer to instrumental pop than academic electronic music. Some tracks bear comparison to the cyclical melodic movements associated with the greats of American minimalism, while others recall the alien, otherworldly futurism of the Radiophonic Workshop, classic ambient music and the sun-bright bliss of early '90s IDM. Yet despite these possible perceived parallels, 'Waves' sits on its own as a stunning work crafted from the simplest of musical elements.

EP benannt. Dass das Ganze dabei absolut fresh rüberkommt,
steht außer Frage. Den Auftakt zu der Mini-Compilation liefern
Tino Bohne und Benjamin Brunn aka The Hangout Project mit
- I´m crazy about you', einer charmanten Elektronik-Nummer,
die durch ein wunderschön und dezent eingesetztes VocalSample sowie einer sowas von überraschend loslegenden 4/4-
Bassline überzeugt. Diese erinnert auch sofort daran, dass
man zum tanzen auf der Welt ist. Weiter geht es mit Le
Rubriques Abenteuern in der - Bar Celona'. Ob diese nun in
Katalonien oder Hessen steht, weiß man nicht. Die Tonart ist
auf jeden Fall nach Frankfurter Art, so dass der Bembel bebt.
Kez YM ist sowieso egal, in welcher Region oder Galaxie sich
etwas bendet. Mit - CL05VER06' lässt er Raum und Zeit auf
jeder Tanzäche links und rechts der Milchstraße zerießen,
wie es auf unserem Planeten noch am ehesten die großen
Meister in Michigan zelebrieren. Und dass Johannes Albert
seinen ganz eigenen - Style of House' hat, sollte nun wirklich
jeder wissen. Ob in der Waldschänke Dornheim oder im Boiler
Room Amsterdam! Check!

After almost 5 years Lonesome Hero is back and delivers two bassheavy club jams with Acid Barney getting spins from Offen's Vladimir Ivkovic at the Strange Sounds from Beyond Festival 2018 in Amsterdam.

Mothball Record is proud to present the first collaborative EP from Betonkust & Eilandnet, made unironically for goths who like to dance.
Betonkust, who as well as receiving widespread recognition for his work with Palmbomen II on the 'Centre Parcs' album, has already several strong solo releases, often influenced by the Belgian New Beat scene. Eilandnet meanwhile has an extensive discography of quintessentially Dutch electro pop under the pseudonym 'Stippenlift' .

Most listeners will gravitate immediately to the tough and gritty electro opener 'Meaningless Sax' or the melancholic beauty of 'Ultra HD Game Water', but besides these two tracks is an EP of diverse material reflecting the artists' interests and obsessions (hinted at in the track titles).

This EP was recorded live in Betonkust's studio outside Amsterdam, in a single 14 hour session with no edits. In the words of the artists 'we recorded until we couldn't hit the right notes anymore'.

In January of 1980 Joy Division kicked off a tour of The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany with a show at the legendary Paradiso Club in Amsterdam. Little did anyone know that in less than 6 months, Ian Curtis would be dead, and the brief, brilliant run of the group would be over. This is a particularly heavy and deep set, with the band performing at their angular best, and Curtis in top form vocally. Essential live broadcast for any fan of Joy Division.

Shortly after Joe Lewandowski's afro-house explorations comes the sophomore EP of Les Yeux Orange Records young alumni Ensthal (formerly known as n.stal) with a four-tracker depicting the dream-like state and excitation of a hazy night wandering in Paris, his hometown. While its opener, « Selective Behavior », is a full-on disco-house joint inviting us to put an end on quick judgments and hypocrisy, N.M.W. channels a Parisbound Detroit techno vibe and takes us to a journey of unadulterated warehouse fun, one organ at a time. On the flip comes « The Liquor Store », a five-minute auditory hallucination where keys and strings collide and disappear in the echoes of the heights of Montmartre. « Charlotte À L'Étage » finally closes our adventure on a jazzier note, an improvisation of sorts for the early-risers and those who, most likely, did not chose to sleep.

Line Explorations present its first release - a compilation consisting of six tracks by six national artists, producing under the names of T'iwu, HTL, PX, emme, AMSH and Mensaje Sanador, serving as a sampler for what's to come in the future on the label and the sounds the label will evoke such as techno, IDM, ambient, noise, drone and experimental vibrations from the further avant-garde,

The first track focuses on growing an organic and everyday sonic scape with the use of chords and melodies filled with light touch - reminiscent of clear skies and sunshine - which creates an ambient feel similar to that of daily vibrations of life as presented and explored by T'iwu.

HTL enhances the depth of the reflections of today's emotions one can feel by delving deeper into everyday surroundings and exploring the noise/drone side of the ambient musical styles by mixing melodic elements with the out of the ordinary effects which shock and ululate while shaping the musical texture into a darker and deeper atmosphere.

The following track, by PX, elevates the atmosphere into a more jovial soundscape full of '80's inspired electronica and sci-fi soundtracks. The beat rolls off and twists in a funky groove helping develop a danceable pace for the release.

On top of that, emme presents the fourth track - in the shape of techno meets breaks - where more classical elements of industrially influenced electronic music can be traced from yesteryears. The sounds engulf in warmly distorted melodic strings while flowing over and under the rhythmic structure.

In contrast, AMSH's ''Subway'' presents a downpour of heavy sounds, such as noise influenced synths and delayed infected percussion, along with field recording of trains help envision the movement of a manmade machine and its flow through the undergrounds of today's world.

The final piece, of the label's initial release, comes in the shape of a Mensaje Sanador or healing message. The track takes on the elements of the three titles that have preceded it and explores further the dynamics between current and classical sounds of the electronic dance music genres by delving deeper into sound synthesis, melodies and rhythm as to help one submerge further into exploring such sounds, their history and the future to come.

The second release on ninih is a package of personal stories by Amsterdam's Eversines, truly captivating the sounds of the ninih label. He masterfully crafts densely layered and brooding soundscapes throughout the EP, appealing to heady listeners and vibing dancefloors alike. Transmissions of deep, swirling, cosmic synths coexist with ominous haunting echoes while warped chords slip in and out of focus. Weaponized experimental electronics blast off in a flurry of hard hitting kicks like a spaceship speeding through a sonic asteroid field before throttling back to an ethereal pace.

On Pedro Vian's second album, the now Amsterdam-based artist opens up a new sonic chapter of his life, running through depths of emotions and feelings, traversing moments of euphoria, fury, serenity, hope and love. Recorded between 2014 and 2018, the self titled LP opens with a melodic flourish, drops down through mournful vocal driven pieces and lands on fast moving synths across a set of 12 deeply personal tracks.

A follow up to Vian's 2016 acclaimed debut album 'Beautiful Things You Left Us For Memories' - supported by Pitchfork, RA, XLR8R, Ransom Note, The Quietus, NTS - this sophomore LP shows the breadth and maturity of Vian's sound, falling in between the cracks of downtempo electronica, ambient and post rock. Pedro discloses: 'I have tried to be sincere, transparent and pure. During the recording process I have avoided artificiality. I do not like the overproduction of music. I like to feel the naturalness and the essence of the beat of the instruments. I like to look inside until I find something real with which to communicate'.

'Pedro Vian' arrives on Vian's own Modern Obscure Music imprint, home to like-minded artists such as Jamal Moss, Gavin Russom, Tevo Howard, Ivy Barkakati, Eterna and Sau Poler. Vian initially cut his teeth in the Barcelona scene, first as part of the duo Aster with JMII on Hivern Discs and Jamal Moss' Mathematics then as a solo producer on his own Modern Obscure Music, MM Discos and Spring Theory.

In the cracks that sprawl between electronic and analog music, visual art, and craft creation, Yamila dances on the edge of sound and conceptual heights. The Spanish composer, cellist, singer and producer is based between Belgium, Holland and Spain. In recent years Yamila has created music for contemporary dance productions in places such as The Gothenburg Opera, Netherlands Dans Theater, and Dance Forum Taipei, among others. Her projects have been presented at festivals such as Sonic Acts Festival (Amsterdam), Arts Electronica (Linz), Seoul International Computer Music Festival, STRP Festival (Eindhoven), and Today's Art festival (The Hague) to name a few.

With 'Iras Fajro' (Forbidden Colours), her debut album, Yamila, summons in 11 songs with the strength of electronic sounds in front of a fragile voice that at times unfolds in small coral clusters. The brilliant electronic arpeggios and rhythms dissolve in the velvety voices of the cello, which are sometimes intertwined with the creations of two collaborators, the British producer and composer Clark (Warp) and the multifaceted ex- flamenco Nin~o de Elche (Sony).

Split album by Joe Corfield and Slim, two of UKs most promising beatmakers. It's the follow-up to the 'KO-OP 1' album by Smoke Trees and Juan Rios on KO-OP, the sub-label and community dedicated to the art of beatmaking founded by reknown hip-hop label Melting Pot Music from Cologne, Germany.

When we started KO-OP in the summer of 2017, little did we knew where this journey would take us to. Ever since we had the pleasure to work with 21 artists from all over the world and have put out almost 80 tracks on lp, tape and digital. Now we are happy to share with you KO-OP 2 - a split album by two of our favourite producers from the UK: Slim and Joe Corfield. Slim is one half of London rap group Summers Sons. The Sons are signed to MPM where they have released two albums ('Undertones' & 'Uhuru').

In February 2019 Summers Sons will play their first German tour together with Children of Zeus. Slim has released instrumental cuts on KO-OP, Brownswood and Banoffee Pie, plus a beattape on Yogocop Records. Joe Corfield hails from Birmingham and has released a string of albums via Radio Juicy and Yogocop.

He is coming with his very own sound. Futuristic and soulful, with a great ear to detail. It was actually Flofilz' idea to have them both on one record. 'KO-OP 2' will be released on one LP with two individual covers by Rahel Süßkind, a Berlin based artist (and part of Money $ex Records) who is responsible for all KO-OP artwork.

DGTL Records hits close to home with their latest release 'Dancing Glass Figures' by De Sluwe Vos. The dj/producer has been affiliated with DGTL since the beginning, as he played at numerous of their festivals from day one. So it was only a matter of time for De Sluwe Vos to release his music on DGTL's label. With Dancing Glass Figures he delivers a strong 4-tracker that is truly hard to resist. De Sluwe Vos has been making waves lately, not only with his steady sets but also with his own label Patron Records, which has seen a string of well-supported releases since its launch. Never Know, the first track of the EP, takes no prisoners, as this straight-up banger with the hard-hitting synth line keeps you captivated throughout the entire track. The repetitive vocoder vocals give the track a spacey touch, especially during the break. De Sluwe Vos teamed-up with fellow Amsterdammer Sjamsoedin, who's known for his exceptional synth knowledge and hard-hitting live-sets. Together they produced a strong lead track that you will definitely get to hear a lot on the dance floor.

Fast rolling drums and a dreamy warm synth lure you into the title track Dancing Glass Figures. But don't get too comfortable, halfway into the track you will get a sturdy surprise, which only makes the track more interesting, while taking you back to where it all started at the end of it all.

Moving on to the B-side. Sophisticated Topless Raver is mesmerizing, with an intriguing and hypnotizing melody that comes and goes throughout the track. Bringing in some hard claps and an eerie laughing vocal, this track for sure is one for the later hours.

Bambounou has the honour to close-off the EP with a remix of Sophisticated Topless Raver. The French dj/producer, who's been on everybody's radar this past year, slowed down the original version and added a sleazy bassline, synth stabs and extra percussion, while keeping the melody and the vocal. Making the track just as enticing as De Sluwe Vos' version.

First opus of the new series is La Batterie, by the UK's Richard Podolor and Sandy Nelson in 1983 in the hypnotic shimmering disco of 'Let There Be Drums.' The music of Polodor and Nelson is being given new life by Kalahari Oyster Cult. Alongside the entrancing original are two remixes. First up is Australia via Amsterdam's very own Max Abysmal with his 'Spooky Remix.' Adopting and adapting the raw energy of the '83 version, Abysmal layers ghostly notes and spectral snares into his mechanical remake. The flip takes on a different slant with 'Shotgun' taken from the EP of twenty fives years ago. A super slick work of understated funk shot through with bold keys and powerful chants to show another side of the UK pair. The fiercely talented Benedikt Frey closes, turning his daringly able hand to 'Let There Be Drums.' He keeps the vocal line, the rest of his rework is dipped in a thick heart of darkness threat. Pulsing thumps, menacing notes and danger lurk in this jungle of Frey's own making.

Lost Futures is a new label that explores experimental and often radical approaches to dance music from the past. In a musical landscape that increasingly claims to seek and reward new forms and ideas, Lost Futures delves into the recent past to revisit forward-thinking, optimistic projects that, owing to the social, musical or outright political climate, perhaps struggled to find an audience. Allowing only time to re-contextualise these leftfield, sometimes misunderstood and ultimately human bodies of work, Lost Futures taps into the inherent idealism of rave.

LF001 trips back until the early nineties to revisit the alternative scene emerging from the Dutch city of Utrecht. Here, three young men - DJ Zero One (Sander Friedeman), TJ Tape TV (Arno Peeters) and DJ White Delight (Richard van der Giessen) - joined forces to form 'The Awax Foundation'. Inspired by the transcendent and revolutionary electronic music arriving on their shores imported from Chicago and Detroit, combining their knowledge, gear and ever-expanding vinyl collection allowed additional freedom in paying sincere tribute to these intoxicating sounds, while also developing their tastes in a more personal, eclectic direction.

The musical flavours of Awax initially leaned toward acid house and the roots of techno. However, with three different mindsets in the mix, their tastes were rarely fixed. One thing each shared in common was a devotion to collecting rare sounds, specifically more adventurous and international samples than those emanating from the increasingly-hard, masculine dance music emerging from the Netherlands during the period. Inspired by the cross-over global sound of bands like Suns of Arqa, or 'World Music', as it was perhaps patronisingly termed at the time, the trio became interested in the idea of making techno with 'ethnic instruments'.

Of course, this being 1992, none of The Awax Foundation had access to such instruments, instead, they had a vast, collective library of samples from all over the world. There were no collaborations and no clear plan. Instead, they set to work using a Yamaha TX16W sampler, the legendary Atari 1040ST computer, a cheap mixing desk and a couple of low-end synths and FX machines. When Richard mentioned the project to his friend, Akin Fernandez, the London DJ and owner of cult label Irdial Discs, Fernandez was intrigued enough to invite the trio to record a one-hour show for his 'Monster Music Radio' series on London's then-burgeoning Kiss FM.

Forced to come up with a name, 'CultureClash' seemed like the obvious choice, even if the members of Awax were only creatively sparring among themselves. Along with the term 'ethno-techno', slightly dubious to a hopefully more conscious Western audience in 2017, these were the only guiding principles to the quietly ambitious project that soon combined cutting-edge machine rhythms with samples sourced from everywhere from Bolivia to Togo, and inspired by everything from Ravi Shankar's epic soundtrack to the Oscar-winning movie Ghandi, to the technical limits of their own setup requiring a dazzling degree of cut-and-paste work. Some tracks even emerged out of academic studies within the ethnomusicology department at The University of Amsterdam.

The show aired on October 2nd, 1992, recorded in one blistering take and without any rehearsals, traversing a huge variety of tempos and styles. If the performance wasn't seamless, it was undeniably thrilling, fresh and ambitious. As such, several labels, including Fernandez's aforementioned Irdial Discs expressed an interesting in commercially releasing CultureClash, while another imprint proposed a series of twelve-inches and an album. But the sheer complexity of the project meant that it never saw the light of day, while the trio embarked on different journeys ahead, both creative and personal.

Twenty five years later, and the original CultureClash lineup and founding members of The Awax Foundation provide the sound of the first release from Lost Futures. An otherworldly, ambitious and optimistic compilation, accompanied by extensive sleeve notes from the trio, CultureClash is a timeless ode to experimentation in dance music's ever-overlapping culture.

The seventh volume of Drumcode's annual A-Sides compilation hits with no less than 10 debuts for the label, with Charlotte de Witte, ANNA, B.Traits and Scuba's SCB project, among the collection of topline artists to release their maiden productions on the imprint.

Over two decades into its lifespan, Drumcode keeps evolving and excelling, pushing techno forward while remaining wholly respectful of its roots. This reputation for progression was further fuelled this summer with its inaugural festival at the NDSM Docklands in Amsterdam, featuring a long list of heavyweights including Nicole Moudaber, Joseph Capriati, Amelie Lens and Ida Engberg, among others.

As ever, the A-Sides compilation provides a timely opportunity to showcase the full range of its sonic repertoire, with Adam Beyer scrupulously selecting unreleased tracks that have taken prime position in his sets over recent months.

Formidable duo Dense & Pika kick off part 5 with their powerful composition 'Lemur' renowned for their standout studio output they consistently conjure up a unique take on their distinct sound. Tastemaker's favourite Jel Ford makes a welcome return to the fold as he ushers in techno rhythms with bustling breaks with his track 'Nightshade'.

On the B side resident DJ of the infamous GZG parties in Holland, Man With No Shadow supplies his rave infused twisted cut 'Manilla', where his warped bass combines with shattering breaks & heavy weight drums.

Lastly, Locomatica & Blaukoma present 'Unfold' a brooding techno workout with crisp drum programming that features a euphoric vocal bursting with emotion. Set to cement these two producers as acts to keep your eye on in the near future.

Anonymous Amsterdam resident dropping heat on this mysterious label

This is the third release of Anonym on bloop recordings, back in Detroit after years in Amsterdam, the boy returns for a four track including a remix from the portuguese Andrade. Anonym brings the powerfull of 3 floor bombs, once again we have selected 3 tracks from a selection that Anonym send us. Prepare yourself for dreamy and quirky tracks with really fat kick drums. On the remix duty, portuguese Andrade give us his frenchy house flavour, watch out on his forthcoming ep on bloop!

Crotocosm is an occasional collaboration between Jordan GCZ (Lushlyfe, Off Minor) and Willie Burns (Black Deer, WT Records). Tracks were recorded together live in Amsterdam and Brooklyn between 1996 and 2017.. it's a TIP !

This is Amsterdam based Musique Exotique's launch realised in the form of a seducitive solid white, blue & purple 12' record that includes a free digital download (printed on the label) as well as wonderful cover art by the infamous Japanese twins, Hamadaraka.

Dutch artists Machinegewehr and Ayden Vice team up to bring that timeless retro Italo vibe with Moroder inspired bass arpeggiation, mysterious vocals and epic pads.

On the B side, San Francisco based Dutch artist, Yobkiss, offers up a masterful remix taking the track into darker electro territory. His offering includes beautifully haunting Japanese vocals by the producer's long time collaborator Yuko Araki for exceptional exotiqueness.

Domesica's collaboration with Dutch label Tope Tape, originally founded in the mid-80s by Menko Konings and recently reborn, allowed them to reissue the mythical S.M Nurse album-cassette.

And now - here is their first vinyl release: Boyz In Parx 'Passion', a selection of lovely never-released tracks by this mysterious Amsterdam act, active from 1983 to 1993, with the line-up of Peter van Garderen, founder of the legendary Nine Circles, and Robby Horsfall (†2013), also known from No Honey From These e.g.

After a string of acclaimed EPs on Heist, Dirt Crew and Quartet Series, Amsterdam's Nachtbraker presents 'When You Find a Stranger in the Alps', his first longplayer on his own Quartet Series imprint. The good-humoured Dutchman - tongue always firmly in cheek - has always refused to stick to the 'sound du jour' and the industry's conventions, following his own path instead, continually willing to step out of his comfort zone. 'When You Find a Stranger in the Alps', a nod to his favourite Coen Brothers' movie, is testament to Nachtbraker's studio prowess and drive to explore new sonic pastures and styles. The album consists of thirteen tracks, made over the course of 2,5 years in his studio at Volkshotel Amsterdam. Constantly shifting through different settings and moods, the album feels like a deep dream, with vivid details, blurry edges and a warped sense of time. The word 'stranger' in the title references to this dream state in which you sometimes can be a stranger to yourself. Album opener 'The Dream Sequence' sets the mood with a lo-slung hip-house groove that relies heavily on field recordings, like the sound of one of the capital's trams. 'Flambo', a delectable slice of up-tempo French filtered house, is aimed straight at the dance floor. Some time around 20 years ago, the artist known as Dub Surgeon made an absorbing album of beautiful dub infused with ambiance, found sounds and horizontal rhythms. The Lost Future was recorded at the former Amsterdam Film Academy where Dub Surgeon. The recording engineer for the project was Ricardo Villalobos. Dub surgeon and Ricardo Villalobos then mastered it together, putting it through several vintage mixers and recording it to 2 inch tape. Then, tragedy struck: a storm surged and ignited a fire that ravaged the studio. The master copy was thought to have been lost forever. Dub Surgeon stopped making music and disappeared into the shadows after just two EPs on Future Dub in 2002/3. But one day 15 years later, totally out of the blue, he received a demo of The Lost Future. "Pay attention to this," it said. Attached was a demo version of the long lost album and now, finally, it has a perfect and impossibly poetic home on Dubai's Ark to Ashes, which is named in homage to the story of Lee "Scratch" Perry burning down his Black Ark studio to rid it of demons. Through the years Intacto Records became a household name. The label was founded in Amsterdam in 2004 under the collaborative genius of Shinedoe and 2000 and One.It was nlaunched as a platform for the by then strongly emerging Amsterdam scene supporting a pack of local artists shaping a fresh distinctive sound which took over the electronic scene by storm. Intacto's defining sound included many styles and its catalogue is a melting pot of influences of which house and techno are the key elements. After running Intacto Records successfully for 14 years, Shinedoe and 2000 and One have joined forces on their very first collaborative release. A ten year old unreleased 2000 and One track 'World of Acid' have been played out by Shinedoe for years and received ecstatic feedback from the clubbing crowds. Convincing him to release this timeless tune to scorch the dancefloors worldwide, Shinedoe was inspired to do a remix. In return 2000 and One remixed her track 'Acidploitation' which she recently produced. 'Acidploitation' EP is the culmination of two Dutch legends, defining their brilliant take on music once again.

The man, the myth, the legend ... back in the 80s Jesse Rae, along with Roger Troutman and Bernie Worrell, was part of the P-Funk movement that was hugely influential to Detroit's early electronic experiments. Lesser known is that the enigmatic Scot-funk warrior later produced underground electronic tracks in the 90s. The inaugural release on Glasgow label Southside Shufflers presents two of Jesse's Shufflers on vinyl for the first time on the Global 95 EP- a sampler from his pioneering 1995 album 'Compression'. Ever the innovator, Jesse recorded the album collaboratively using live ISDN technology spanning three continents, with the resultant tracks fusing African, US electro-funk and old Scots influences. 23 years later, Jesse's under the radar Shufflers sound more relevant than ever.

Butterflies is a 12' EP compilation (1983-2016) by the Amsterdam based label Top Tape (founded 1986). On this release of 500 copies on yellow vinyl you find old and new work, old and young artists, like the talented Parrish Smith. There is also a great Restauration by Dunkeltier. After Being Provided With A Sizeable Dose Of An Enhanced And Notably Stronger Derivative Of 4-ho Met (codenamed St011), Penn Not Only Reported Intense Hallucinations But Also Enhanced Music Production Capabilities. With The Aid Of Electronic Instruments And Hardware, He Worked Quickly, Producing Both His Trademark higher Level Inter-dimensional Funk' And Compositions That Defied Our Previous Expectations.

During The Early Stages Of His St011 Experience, Penn Completely Ignored The Provided Rhythm Composer And Instead Crafted A Colourful, Humid, Jazzy And Beat-free Track Entitled nix', Which Boasted Loose And Fluid Synthesizer Motifs. As His Hallucinatory Experience Intensified, Penn Giddily Tapped Out Tropical Rhythms On The Provided Beat-making Device, Smothering Them In Alien Electronics And Sticky Melodies. When We Asked What This Devilishly Good Cut Was Called, He Simply Replied: not Important'.

As The Test Went On And The Most Intense Symptoms Died Down, Penn Was Much Like His Old Self. Before The St011 Wore Off Completely, He Was Able To Finish Two Examples Of His Trademark inter-dimensional Funk': The Skewed, Introspective, Bassline-driven Wooziness Of ben' And The Mazy, Kaleidoscopic Goodness Of people'. The Latter Composition Was Particularly Potent And Ear Pleasing, Suggesting That His St011 Experience Had Finished On An Intense High.

"Square Landscapes" is the latest album of Tbilisi based producer Rezo Glonti under the Aux Field moniker. This work is a synth-curved journey influenced by mutated urban landscapes of his native city. Art-work by Amsterdam based artists Graphic Surgery.

Breach is back with his second release of the year on his new imprint NKDLTD. On NKDLTD002 Breach delivers a two tracker entitled 'Turtle Dance' which continues where he left off in quality but stylistically stepping into warmer tones for the summer months. NKDLTD001 saw the first release from the Amsterdam based producer in three years and with it a return to Breach's roots. Deep, dark & moody tracks which went on to resonate with a broad selection of artists including Benji B who went on to play it numerous times on his seminal BBC Radio 1 show.

For the third release on Intergraded, we welcome Tracey to the label. Having cut his teeth as a DJ and producer in Amsterdam over the last 15 years his sound has developed into something both classic and futuristic. WE LATER TRACKED DAZION TO A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL UNIT ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF AMSTERDAM. THERE HE CONTINUED TO TINKER WITH THE TECHNOLOGY, TESTING IT OUT BY BROADCASTING ANOTHER MUSICAL COMPOSITION. THIS WAS MORE POIGNANT AND MELANCHOLIC IN TONE, UTILISING SPAACEY ELECTRONIC MELODIES, GENTLY BOBBING CHORDS, HEART-ACHING GUITAR FLOURISHES AND A TOUGH BUT BROKEN RHYTHM TRACK. THE RECORDING - CODE NAME VX LTD' - HAD A HUGE IMPACT ON US EMOTIONALLY AND EVEN REDUCED ONE OPERATIVE TO TEARS.''

Phil Gerus is a natural musical talent who oozes sound from every pore.
