Noir is an anime series created by Ryôe Tsukimura, produced by Victor Entertainment and Bee Train and directed by Kôichi Mashimo. First broadcast in 2001, it enjoyed worldwide success and is now considered a classic of Japanese animation.

It was with this original soundtrack that composer Yuki Kajiura truly defined her signature style, creating a fascinating contrast between the violence of the plot and music imbued with melancholy and sacredness. The music for the series was unanimously acclaimed, particularly for its unforgettable songs Canta per me and Salva nos, performed by Yuriko Kaida.

Ariane Bonzini is a French singer-songwriter who is gradually establishing herself as one of the unique voices of the new French-speaking alternative scene. Her first notable project, Magenta, lays the foundations for a deeply personal universe: atmospheric RnB, tinged with sensitive pop, where the softness of her voice meets a refined, cinematic production. With this project, Ariane attracted attention thanks to an authentic sound identity, far removed from the codes usually associated with the genre.

Swedish producer Robert Leiner’s landmark 1994 album ‘Visions Of The Past’ finally gets a vinyl LP reissue on Apollo, the ‘ambient division’ of R&S Records. Long regarded as one of the pivotal ambient/electronic long players, the album has stood the test of time and serves as a reminder on how potent the early ambient techno releases were.

Leiner was a central figure in the early European techno and ambient landscape, carving out a distinctive sound that bridged atmospheric depth and rhythmic intensity. Known for his releases as The Source Experience and contributions to the R&S/Apollo catalogue, as a producer and engineer, Leiner’s work resonated across the underground, earning him a reputation for visionary, emotionally charged productions that stood apart from his contemporaries.

'Visions Of The Past’ captures this duality perfectly with expansive ambient passages that drift into hypnotic techno, while layers of intricate sound design and pulsating low end create a timeless and immersive listening experience. Tracks unfold with patience and precision, like the 12-minute-long marine epic ‘Aqua Viva’, balancing introspection with kinetic dance energy, and the new age ambience of ‘Dream Or Reality’ and ‘Northern Dark’ embodying the forward-thinking ethos that defined Apollo’s golden era.

Three decades on, this long out of print album finally returns on vinyl format, freshly remastered and restored, reaffirming its status as an essential document of electronic music’s evolution and Robert Leiner’s enduring influence.

Late Bush presents “Hoarses” on the label Vlek Records, an original repertoire in which he blends electronic music - power ambient, IDM, avant-pop - and early music, which share the same affective intensity, a taste for ornamentation and a form of sonic excess.

At the heart of this material, AI-cloned voices, both human and spectral, extend the idea that any baroque interpretation is a reconstruction of the unknown. They contrast with organic strings recorded with Echo Collective, in a temporal and radical hybridization, creating a fluid and unstable material, between memory and simulation.

One of the conceptual starting points is essential: we have no sonic trace of baroque music as it was played. Only scores remain, and sometimes contradictory indications, a sensitive archaeology, even an imaginary projection.

Everything that is played today is therefore, in fact, a reconstruction, an interpretation of a vanished material. According to this logic and to pursue this reflection, the cloned voices, transformed by AI, are not a rupture but propose a natural continuation of this chain of reinvention, of this relationship to the invisible, to the indefinite. They do not aim to replace a human voice, but rather to embody the fact that any baroque restitution is already a fiction.

The project does not seek to imitate the real, but to play with the thresholds of the plausible, of the spectral. The music then becomes a fluid material, manipulable, alterable, and the performers, musicians or machines, are its vehicles.

The strings, carried by the sensitive and expressive interpretation of Echo Collective, breathe into the project a vibrant authenticity. Their presence brings an organic and tactile dimension that contrasts with the fluid and intangible aspect of the voices and the electronics.

Acknowledge Kindness expands San Francisco based The Reds, Pinks And Purples' distinctive brand of emotional pop, music built for the quiet hours and the restless mind. Evolving naturally from the heavier, melancholic indie rock of previous releases, the mood here feels more exposed and reflective, blossoming into lush dreamscapes that recall the bittersweet sorrow of The Cure or the tenderly gloomy transcendence of California by American Music Club. Created from a new headspace, the album finds main man Glenn Donaldson observing both the present and the weight of what came before it. Endlich ist es da, das lang erwartete zweite Album von GREEN DESERT TREE. Mit dem ersten Album "Progressive Worlds" hatte Green Desert Tree bereits 2019 bleibende Spuren in der Progwelt hinterlassen. Die Berliner Band um Mastermind Tim Sund (u.a. Keyboarder bei der Krautrock Legende Agitation Free) hatte bewiesen, dass sich aktueller Neoprog aus Deutschland in Sachen musikalischer Qualität und Originalität nicht hinter der internationalen Konkurrenz verstecken muss. Die Fachwelt hatte einen neuen Stern am Proghimmel wahrgenommen. Doch genau in dem Augenblick, als GDT im Begriff war die internationalen Festivalbühnen zu betreten, wurde der Band ein Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht: Corona. Diese unfreiwillige Unterbrechung aller Aktivitäten brachte dann auch ein paar personelle Veränderungen mit sich, so dass der bisherige Bassist Sascha Giebel zum Frontsänger avancierte und der italienische Bassist Francesco Beccaro neu zur Band hinzustieß. Das neue Album FIGHTING DRAGONS knüpft genau da an, wofür schon das Debüt so gefeiert wurde und besticht mit verpielt proggigen Keyboardintros, vertrackten Melodien, harten Gitarren, fantasievollem Storytelling, Satzgesang, symphonischer Größe, mikroskopischer Detailverliebtheit, klassisch anmutenden Passagen im Rockgewand und mitunter sehr druckvollen Parts. So handelt es sich bei den Songs des neuen Albums um eine Sammlung von Geschichten, die vom "Storyteller" erzählt werden. Dabei geht es zum Beispiel um eine Frau, die um ihren Bräutigam trauert, der am Vorabend der Hochzeit plötzlich spurlos verschwindet. Ein anderer Song handelt von einem computerspielsüchtigen Jugendlichen, der glaubt ein Ritter zu sein, der sein Königreich vor gefährlichen Drachen schützen muss. Was all diese Musik von GDT vereint, ist eine Qualität von Storytelling, die beispielsweise an Bands wie die frühen Genesis, Yes und Saga sowie an aktuelle Künstler wie Neal Morse und Steven Wilson erinnert, vereint mit einem Riesenspektrum an musikalischen Einflüssen und großer instrumentaler Virtuosität. Green Desert Tree wird nun zur Veröffentlichung des zweiten Albums "Fighting Dragons" endlich nachholen, was hätte schon längst passieren sollen, und zwar die deutschen Bühnen erobern und sich den Progfans in die Herzen spielen.

The Cure are to release the 1986 mix of Boys Don’t Cry, making it available digitally for the first time ever in line with its 40th Anniversary. Initially released as a standalone single in the summer of 1979, Boys Don’t Cry became the title track of the US edition of the band’s debut album, Three Imaginary Boys.



The song went on to become one of the band’s signature tracks and achieved international success in 1986, when Robert Smith re-recorded the vocal and remixed the backing track. Although this new version was created to promote the best of collection Staring At The Sea – The Singles, the LP itself featured the original recording, and the 7-inch version of Boys Don’t Cry (New Voice – New Mix), now retitled Boys Don’t Cry (86 Mix), is being released on vinyl for the first time in 40 years.

BODYSYSTEM is the solo project of Finlay McCarthy (synth player for Glasgow art-pop innovators Walt Disco). "Flowerbed" is his debut EP on KIN-TU Records, blending melodic electronics, skittering breakbeats, rave textures, and emotionally charged songwriting.

The EP includes collaborations with Tiger Cohen-Towell (Divorce) and Pearling, bringing two distinct vocal turns to the record. "PRONTO" is the debut album by ARYA, an Italian-Venezuelan artist who grew up in Milan. ARYA arrives with this first full-length album after the EPs
Peace of Mind (2021) and Punto Zero (2023), collaborations (Mahmood, Venerus, Ghemon, Dardust, Calibro35, and many others), and an intense live
activity, which have made her one of the most interesting voices on the Italian neo-soul/R&B scene.
Born from a personal journey of therapy and awareness, "PRONTO" takes shape as a concept album, transforming the emotional investigation into a
coherent and layered musical narrative. The title captures the meaning of the project: "Pronto" is a word that crosses all the languages present on the
album—Italian, English, and Spanish—taking on different meanings ("subito," "presto"), and is also the first word uttered in the intro. A term that introduces the listener to a space of availability, anticipation, and presence.
The entire album was produced by Claudio La Rocca (Sup Nasa), a key figure in building the project's sonic identity. Giuseppe Seccia, Matteo D'Ignazi,
Martina Tedesco, Tiziano Codoro, Stefano De Vivo, and Giulia Gentile also contributed to the album, recording the instrumental parts and contributing
to the arrangements and production of some tracks.
With "PRONTO," ARYA takes the listener on a journey through different levels of her emotional history, until the elevator starts moving again and leaves room for a new possibility of balance.
ARYA (AryaDelgado) is an Italian-Venezuelan artist born in Milan in 1994. Daughter of salsa singer Orlando Watussi, she grew up surrounded by music
and quickly developed a sensibility that blends Latin roots, nu-soul, and contemporary R&B, with a strong focus on the emotional and narrative dimensions of her writing. In 2021, she released her debut EP, Peace of Mind, followed in 2023 by Punto Zero. These releases attracted press attention
and led to collaborations with artists such as Mahmood, Venerus, Ghemon, Dardust, and Calibro35. Over the years, she has consolidated an increasingly recognizable presence, alternating songwriting, solo production, and an intense live schedule in Italy and abroad. In 2024, she accompanied Mahmood on tour and released the single, "Si Potesse Tornare." In 2025, La Noche En Que Te Fuiste and Onda were released, songs that marked the
beginning of a new artistic chapter and anticipated the release of “PRONTO,” her debut album, released in February 2026. An intimate and layered
work, which focuses on vulnerability as a language and confirms ARYA as one of the most personal and aware voices of the new Italian soul scene.

Un Canto por México, Vol. 1 is the eighth studio album by Natalia Lafourcade. The album was part of a project destined for the reconstruction of the Centro de Documentatión del Son Jarocho at Jáltipan de Morelos, a cultural building that was damaged after 2017 Puebla earthquake on 19 September 2017.

The album was a great success and gave Lafourcade three Latin Grammy Awards and the album also won the Best Regional Mexican Music Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

Un Canto por México, Vol. 2 is Natalia Lafourcade's second album dedicated to the reconstruction of the Centro de Docementación del Son Jarocho, a cultural building that was damaged after the 2017 Puebla earthquake. The album features unique new interpretations of her earlier songs, as well as collaborations with artists such as Caetano Veloso and Silvana Estrada. This album really showcases the enduring strength of her songs, which remain powerful in any form.

The album was very positively received by fans and critics. It even got nominated for multiple Latin Grammy Awards (Album of the Year, Best Engineered Album) and Grammy Awards (Best Regional Mexican Music Album).

In May 2026, Erin LeCount will embark on her biggest run of shows to date with her new UK tour, entitled the ‘PAREIDOLIA Tour’, which will see her play dates in Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, and London, the latter of which will take place at the Roundhouse in what is Erin’s largest headline show so far.

This month, Erin was also announced on the line-up for Lorde’s All Points East date on Saturday 22nd August.

Free As You Wanna Be", the first album by drummer Bubbha Thomas and his band The Lightmen, predates the deep-set, maverick jazz issued by the likes of Tribe and Strata East: This album is a harbinger of the collective voice of resistance to the musical and cultural status quo that emerged in the 1970s jazz underground. Drummer, bandleader and activist Bubbha Thomas had toured America with R&B revues, served as a session musician for peacock and back beat records, and played straight ahead jazz with legends before the political and social upheaval of the late 1960s led him to a path first charted by Coltrane. Most of the tracks remain strongly groove-based with a clear sense of cohesion, but a few of the performances push further out than you might expect from later Lightmen releases, revealing the band's deep roots in avant-jazz. This lineup includes a very young Ronnie Laws sounding noticeably removed from the jazz-fusion style he'd adopt in the late '70s. Alongside Thomas on drums, the ensemble is rounded out by Doug Harris on tenor sax, Carl Adams on trumpet, Kenny Abair on guitar, and Joe Singleton on trombone.

At the genesis of one of the most essential bands in Spanish pop-rock of the 1980s, this rarity presents early versions of what would later become some of the most chanted songs in Siniestro Total's repertoire: 'Matar jipis en las Cíes' and 'Las tetas de mi novia,' along with Germán Coppini's original composition 'El Vaticano va a arder.' With limited resources but plenty of energy and humor, a three-song demo was recorded in August 1981, now available here on vinyl for the first time. The songs came first, and only later did the band take a name-initially Mari Cruz Soriano y los que afinan su piano, and shortly after, Siniestro Total. 'Matar jipis en las Cíes' is an original composition by the band's founding members Alberto Torrado, Julián Hernández, and Miguel Costas, while 'Las tetas de mi novia' is a loose version of the song 'I'm a Rocket' by the Dutch band Gruppo Sportivo. 'El Vaticano va a arder' was contributed by Germán Coppini, the mysterious fourth member of this singular lineup, inspired by 'Religion,' the anti-religious rant included on Public Image Limited's debut album. This single is an essential document for both Siniestro Total fans and Spanish-language punk enthusiasts. First-ever vinyl edition.
