AVNU (UK) follows up his fantastic recent single on Ellum Audio with a long-awaited and hugely adventurous new album, ‘Tough To Love But Worth The Effort’.

AVNU (UK) is based on the East Coast of Scotland and has been deeply immersed in music for twenty plus years. He has a love of everything from rock, soul and blues to disco, electro, techno, trance and rave. All of that comes out in his innovative sounds, which range from sweat-inducing club tracks to hooky and feel-good grooves. This album finds him working his magic across 15 tracks that bring plenty of fresh perspective to house, electro, synth, techno and pop. They add up to a storytelling record filled with left turns and tracks that work in a range of different contexts.

'Surprise!' opens with a glossy electro beat and shimmering 80s synths that set the tone for the whole record. 'I Love You' brings a French touch influence with plenty of filtered synth loops and crisp drums under a soulful vocal, then 'Supaflake' cuts loose on an old-school funk vibe with nods to early Daft Punk. This most colourful of records plays out through the likes of sombre cosmic techno offering 'Bad Karma,' the longing chords and heavy-hearted electronica of 'Odyssey Jam' feat Mariel Ito and distorted bass of 'Phlegm In The Street' which comes with laser-like synths and menacing vocals.

The future styles continue on 'Yo E, Check This Out' which collides jungle breakbeats with brain-melting sine waves, while 'Wilkie' is a moment to catch your breath amongst bright and shiny synths and deeper drums that suspend you in a celestial sky. 'Proud You’re Mine' is a perfect electro-dance-pop gem that has potential to be a summer festival anthem and the title track closes down with six minutes of enchanting and mystical synth lines and hypnotic drums.

‘Tough To Love But Worth The Effort’ is a spectacularly broad and accomplished album that lives in a world of its own.

The rising dj/producer from Amsterdam steps up with three brilliant uptempo techno rollers and a blissful ambient excursion as epilogue. BEC meldet sich mit ihrer sechsten EP auf Pan-Pots Second State zurück und nimmt die Zuhörer auf eine Reise mit, die anfangs von treibenden Grooves, verzerrten Vocals, ravigen 90s Synths, industriellen Klängen und kraftvollem Techno geprägt ist ("Pleasure Seeker", "The Truth"). Mit "Reaching Nirvana" zeigt BEC aber eine andere Seite und haut eine Nummer raus, die mit deepen und schwebenden Synths heraussticht. Pan-Pots UKW Mix des Titeltracks mit dem unverkenntlichen Sound des Berliner Duos rundet die Platte perfekt ab.

French techno artist Cøncenträte returns for his second vinyl release of Gynoid with a very deep and haunting track Semantika, that also gets a slightly more industrial rework by Jonas Kopp . The second track Timewarp is much fatter with lots of dance-floor punch and a bonus Developer remix.

Rocko Garoni knows what a techno dance floor wants. He’s learned it through countless hours spent on the floor himself as a punter, and through DJing at some of the best clubs and festivals in his hometown Berlin and all over the world. He knows exactly the type of productions that thrill crowds, and he brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to his third EP for Second State, Ammoniak.

The title and first track ‘Ammoniak’ drags you straight into the zone; a pounding, take no prisoners cut laced with stormy synths creating a vague sense of paranoia. ‘Gece‘ cranks the energy up with trancey, bouncing synths and a cool, clipped female vocal. Instantly, you’re pulled into the very sort of club that Garoni knows so well. ‘No Border‘ is the kind of expansive track that seems destined for huge warehouses or vast festival dancefloors. There’s an insistent, brooding bassline, robotic repeated vocals and a mid-track shift in tone that will send the crowd to a heightened state of reverie. The blend of post-punk vocals and eerie beats on ‘It’s All Yours‘, a track featuring Cook Strummer on the vocals, is at once highly unusual and completely compelling. It’s the track to play when the crowd are losing themselves in the best possible way. Closing the EP is ‘Helio‘, another completely different track that showcases the extent of Garoni’s range. Faint, echoed chanting lends the track an almost holy atmosphere. Combined with tunnelling synths and spindly percussion FX, the effect is euphoric, acting as a delicious palate cleanser between heavier tracks.

Put simply, Ammoniak is another first-class EP from a dynamic act who’s fast becoming a Second State star.

Liebe Ist is the first single from Raumakustik´s debut album
"Underground Pop Music" which will be released in late January 2013.
Again the german vocals (originally written by german writer Eva

With festival season in the air, Vince Watson lets loose on his big summer track for 2026. Piano-heavy ‘The Awakening’ hits right on the money - full-on hands in the air piano and some E-Dancer-style bass give this track the ‘Summer Anthem’ vibes. This is a hit record! It’s backed up with a stripped-back version, letting go of the big orchestral strings to make way for more heat from that E-Dancer baseline. On the flip side, there is a faster BPM edit of ‘Flashback’ from his 2023 album ‘Another Moment In Time’, not only bringing a more friendly club tempo, but also extra heat and intensity in the build-ups.

Zu seinem runden Geburtstag veröffentlicht Udo Lindenberg eine ganz besondere Panik-Compilation. Kein klassisches Best Of-Album, sondern ein Geschenk der Fans an Udo Lindenberg - denn über die Songauswahl haben die Fans abgestimmt


Im Januar startete dafür eine beispiellose Mitmach-Aktion, die die Fans begeisterte und zu einem großartigen Voting-Ergebnis führte: Alle Songs aus 40 Studioalben standen zur Wahl. - vom ersten Album „Lindenberg“ (1971) bis zum letzten Studioalbum „Stärker als die Zeit“. Das Ergebnis ist diese brandneue, von den Fans kuratierte Compilation mit den 40 meistgewählten Tracks - gekrönt von „Komet“ als 41. Song, den Udo höchstpersönlich außer Konkurrenz gesetzt hat.


Die Mischung der Songs ist eine wilde Zeitreise durch mehr als fünf Jahrzehnte Musikgeschichte: von den frühen Panik-Hymnen bis zu den jüngsten Meisterwerken - auf Deutsch, Englisch und sogar Niederländisch. Words Create Vibrations is a solo EP recorded between 2023 and 2025, where techno and dub foundations merge seamlessly with ambient textures and breaky-step rhythms. Across five tracks, the record unfolds as a deeply atmospheric journey — hypnotic, spacious, and rhythmically dynamic. Sub-heavy frequencies meet shifting percussive structures, while layers of delay and texture generate a sense of depth that feels both physical and introspective. Each composition evolves patiently, acting as a meditation on resonance, movement, and the unseen architecture of vibration.

The A-side presents Delikwe’s original works in their purest form: immersive, restrained, and subtly transformative. Rooted in sound system culture yet open in structure, the tracks balance meditative stillness with rhythmic propulsion.

On the B-side, Australian producer Pugilist delivers a powerful reinterpretation. Known for his refined low-end pressure and deeply immersive productions, he reshapes the source material into a weightier, system-focused experience. His remix amplifies the sub frequencies and spatial depth while preserving the meditative core of the originals, creating a compelling dialogue between exploratory dub atmospheres and grounded sonic precision.

Words Create Vibrations stands as a sonic exploration where rhythm, space, and texture converge into a fully immersive listening experience — crafted for powerful sound systems, late-night sessions, and attentive minds alike.

Swedish producer Mattias El Mansouri (Aniara Recordings) returns to Nous'klaer Audio with a three hefty House cuts.

Drei Jahre nach seinem #1-Album „Reparatur“ meldet sich Josh. mit seinem vierten Studioalbum zurück. Auf „Wer singt dann Lieder für dich“ beweist der Wiener Singer-Songwriter und fünffache Amadeus-Preisträger erneut, wie er aus persönlichen Geschichten packende Popmusik schafft – mal leicht, mal melancholisch, immer mit einem Gespür für Timing, Humor und Gefühl. Seit seiner Kindheit spielt Josh. klassische Gitarre und war in Schulbands aktiv. Später studierte er sieben Jahre lang Jazz und Popularmusik, brach das Studium jedoch aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen ab – seine Liebe zur Musik blieb davon unberührt. Heute spiegelt sich diese Erfahrung in einem Sound, der organisch, warm und zugleich überraschend facettenreich ist. Für „Wer singt dann Lieder für dich“ hat Josh. so viele Instrumente wie nie zuvor selbst eingespielt – von Gitarre über Bass bis zur Pedal-Steel – und damit jedem Song eine unmittelbare Nähe verliehen. „Es war das bisher entspannteste und lustigste, gleichzeitig aber auch das arbeitsintensivste Album“, sagt er über die Aufnahmen, die erneut in kongenialer Zusammenarbeit mit Produzent Florian Koch entstanden sind. Seit „Teilzeitromantik“ (2021) ist Koch stetiger kreativer Partner, musikalischer Direktor und Schlagzeuger der Band – eine bewährte Konstellation, die für klare Strukturen und kreative Freiheit sorgt. „Ich glaube, dass es ein Album ist, das wieder die Leichtigkeit des Nonsens gefunden hat“, so Josh., „Momente, in denen man lachen, feiern oder einfach man selbst sein kann, treffen auf nachdenkliche, melancholische Songs.“ Es ist die Momentaufnahme eines 39-Jährigen, der reflektiert – und dabei stets offen für das Absurde und Komische in den kleinen Dingen bleibt.
„Ich habe mir beim Schreiben der Songs keine Grenzen gesetzt“, sagt Josh. „Das spiegelt meine Persönlichkeit ziemlich gut wider: Ich bin jemand, der gern einen Schmäh macht, wie wir hier in Wien sagen – aber gleichzeitig auch immer wieder kämpfen muss und viel über Gefühle, Schmerz und all das nachdenkt.“ Das zeigt sich auf „Wer singt dann Lieder für dich“ in jedem Detail, sei es bei humorvollen Beobachtungen, nostalgischen Rückblicken oder in Songs über das Älterwerden und die kleinen Lebenskrisen („Was hat uns bloß so müde gemacht?“). Nach einem Livejahr 2025, das eine Tour durch Österreich und Deutschland, einen Headliner-Gig auf dem Donauinselfest vor 100.000 Fans sowie eine Support-Show für Robbie Williams umfasste, hat „Austropop-Darling“ (TZ) Josh. in diesem Jahr wieder viel vor: Im April und Mai ist er auf komplett ausverkaufter Solotour in Österreich zu erleben, im Anschluss folgen Konzerte in Deutschland und der Schweiz. Im Sommer geht es gemeinsam mit Rian auf Open-Air-Tour durch Österreich.

Gregory Hutchinsons "Kind of Now - The Pulse of Miles Davis" ist eine innovative wie neue All-Star-Hommage an Miles und seine Musik entstand unter der Leitung von Gregory Hutchinson, „dem Schlagzeuger seiner Generation“ laut Jazz Magazine. Jetzt erscheint das Album pünktlich zum 100. Geburtstag der Ikone.
Es ist ein faszinierendes und äußerst lohnendes Album, das einigen unsterblichen Klassikern aus Miles Davis’ Repertoire neues Leben einhaucht, wie etwa Charlie Parkers „Ah-Leu-Cha“ oder Miles’ eigenem „Seven Steps To Heaven“, wobei stets das Offensichtliche außer Acht gelassen und stattdessen die „deep cuts“ hervorgehoben werden. Die Schlagzeug-Interludes des Bandleaders verweben dieses über einstündige Programm eng und verleihen ihm eine futuristische Neuheit, ganz in Hutchs Sinn von Zeit. Kind of Now.

A blend of Metal Indus and Bass Music, VIOLENCE is an ambitious and atypical project produced by Niveau Zero, one of the pioneers of French Bass Music. Composed of Fabio Meschini (Guitar / Ex: As They Burn) , Morgan Sansous (Drums), John Kazadi (Lead Vocal) and Frédéric Garcia aka Niveau Zero ( Machines and Vocal ).

OPUS I', their 1st album (2021), composed in collaboration with choice guests such as Billy Graziadei (Biohazard, Powerflo), Bastien Hennaut (HORSKH) and Code: Pandorum... has frankly succeeded in arousing the enthusiasm of both Metal and Bass Music audiences.

On stage, the band has not been outdone, offering a crescendo of increasingly furious performances over the last year alongside bands like Biohazard, Mass Hysteria, Ten 56, Horskh, Shaargot, Novelist, Revnoir, King Yosef.

Frequency Response EP marks the second entry on Equal Audio, a Various Artists release embodying the label’s philosophy in its purest form. Varied in mood, unified in simplicity, the record brings together artists with different interpretations while sharing a common focus on reduced arrangements and consistent energy. This release resurrects a long-lost cornerstone of Seattle's early grunge history, showcasing Bundle of Hiss, featuring future Mudhoney and TAD guys and singer Jamie lane, one of the genre's missing links. Between 1986 and 1988, when Seattle was still a circuit of small clubs, four-track tapes and bands sharing drummers and singers, Jack Endino went in to record one of the most solid - and most unfairly invisible - outfits of that scene: BUNDLE OF HISS. Two sessions (1986 at Reciprocal and 1987/88 at Audio Design) fell into limbo, stored in the basement of Mudhoney-Drummer Dan Peters and for years they were a kind of pre-grunge legend, everyone knew they existed, but there was no record, until Loveless Records from NYC released both on CD. The second one, Audio Design Sessions, now sees the light of vinyl for the first time, just as it should have come out in the late '80s: a basement document turned into a collectible artifact. For those who want real grunge, not the domesticated version. It gathers the core of those 1987-1988 recordings done by Endino: the moment when the band is tighter, darker and closer to what the press would later call the "Seattle sound": minor-key melodies, thick fuzz, vocals on the edge, and that mix of hard rock, punk and Sabbath-like heaviness we'd later hear in Mudhoney, TAD or early Soundgarden. And Jack Endino himself summed up these sessions: "Vintage Seattle grunge from one of the original practitioners_ I always felt sad that this hard-working band never managed to get a record out and was almost lost to history. It was a pleasure -and a technical pain!- to resurrect all this." Kinda key release of the early grunge days, first-generation material, recorded by the scene's producer, at the exact moment Seattle was shifting from noisy punk to that heavy, shadowy rock that later blew up. It sounds raw, young and dangerous: this is not a polished compilation, it's a snapshot of the scene.

„Zuversicht“, das jetzt erscheinende fünfzehnte Album des laut Crescendo „klanggenialen Trompeters und Ausnahmekomponisten“ Nils Wülker, strahlt die Lebensenergie des Titels aus – in vielfacher, wunderbarer Hinsicht. Die elf Eigenkompositionen, eingespielt im Quartett mit den Jazz-Stars Aaron Parks (Grammy-Gewinner an der Seite von Terence Blanchard oder Joshua Redman) am Piano, Linda May Han Oh am Kontrabass (Grammy-Gewinnerin, u.a. mit Pat Metheny oder Kenny Barron zu hören) und dem laut Jazz Magazine „Drummer seiner Generation“ Greg Hutchinson, drängen den ECHO-Gewinner und Top Ten-Jazzer Nils Wülker bewusst aus seiner Komfortzone in eine schöne, neue Klangwelt. Wülkers Personalsound ist eindringlich und unverkennbar, das Ergebnis dennoch überraschend. Gemeinsam haben die Vier in nur dreieinhalb Tagen voll gemeinschaftlicher Schaffenskraft in den legendären Hansa Studios in Berlin (U2, David Bowie, Depeche Mode u.a.) ein Album geschaffen, das gleichermaßen zeitgemäß wie richtungsweisend ist – und in seinen starken Melodien und dem sagenhaften Interplay voll Zuversicht.


Das Resultat spricht für sich: „Zuversicht“ ist ein sehr organisches, in jeder Note lebendiges Album, dem die Kompositionen des Leaders in Kombination mit der kreativen Zusammenarbeit der drei weiteren Bandmitglieder enorme Größe und Eleganz verschaffen, eine immer wieder überwältigende Energie. Auch live auf Tour wird die Besetzung des Albums zu erleben sein – mit Nils Wülker an der Seite von Linda May Han Oh, Greg Hutchinson und anfangs, aufgrund von Termingründen, mit keinem Geringeren als Omer Klein am Piano.
