Absolute Compliance is a truly hypnogogic group of tunes from Bronze on their best and weirdest behavior and it hits all Castle Face’s favorite things about them immediately and repeatedly: insistently strange synth voicings emanating from Miles Friction’s mad scientist’s lab worth of equipment, controlled by a homemade-looking oversized knob; Brian Hock’s throbbing, woolly, hall-of-mirror grooves; and above it all Rob Spector’s thousand yard croon, the vaguely familiar touchstone amongst these Lynchian, mutated surroundings—these are songs of dreams and nightmares, hidden rituals observed, futuristic coliseum entertainments displaced in time, sci-fi jams of an uncertain future. Bronze are one-of-a kind great and if unfamiliar, go find their other records (including their great live record for Castle Face) and get caught up. Baiana (pronounced By-Anna) is the alias of powerhouse Liverpool-born Brazilian jazz artist, Laura Doyle Following on from performances at Love Supreme, the Manchester Jazz festival, world famous jazz clubs The 606 and Pizza Express as well as an unprecedented 12 weeks on the A- list of the Jazz FM playlist, with her breakthrough single "Saudade Samba" Baiana's highly anticipated self- titled debut album is finally here. Produced by the legendary UK Latin percussionist, Snowboy, 'Baiana' features 11 finely crafted songs covering a huge range of Brazilian styles from fiery Sambas to Bossa Nova, Jazz Fusion to Baiao and everything in-between. Singing in both Portuguese and English, Laura evokes a vocal style reminiscent of the great romantic torch singers of the 40's and 50's such as Julie London and Peggy Lee and yet one can clearly also feel the passionate expression of Portuguese Fado and the Brazilian greats such as Elza Soares, Gal Costa and Elis Regina as she sings of love-lost and broken hearts. John Paterno returns to mix and master as he has done since No Sad Songs of
2015.Without conventional drums or bass their fondness for country and folk
hues are clearer. These are unequivocally and absolutely the best songs Stephen
Duffy has ever written in his twenty or so long playing album career. The first
single release is "A Makeshift Raft". A song that asks if those seeking freedom
need drown, then ponders the inevitability of continuous wars. It praises the
America of Allen Ginsberg before a few bars of yodelling. It ends by eulogises
fingers, guitars and songs of love. Something for everyone then. The song is
accompanied by a video created by Martin Carr.They love being who they are and
they love this album and they hope you will find time to dance till all the stars
come down with them.

Fellow violinist Stuff Smith marveled, "He plays violin like Coltrane plays saxophone." Born in 1942, the French violinist Jean- Luc Ponty transported jazz violin playing into the world of modern jazz. On Frank Zappa's urging, Ponty moved to the States in 1970. Over the next years he toured with Zappa, the Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Chick Corea's "Return to Forever".If Ponty's 1983 album Individual Choice was the sketchbook of his decision to take his music in a new direction, Open Mind (1984), released the following year, was a deeper
exploration of the emerging world of synthesizers and sequencers and their impact on live and studio performance. Here, complex rhythmic patterns shift in the background while new sounds appear and disappear on the surface in colorful bursts, and outstanding jazz improvisors create familiar music in new settings. It's almost an audio version of a kinetic wind sculpture.

Ponty chose to use a Roland rhythm machine instead of faking real drum and percussion sounds and played all the keyboard parts himself in order to further explore the concept he had introduced in Individual Choice. He additionally asked two longtime friends to solo on various tracks: George Benson, whom JLP had met and played with when they were both 21 years old, and Chick Corea, who
excels on two tracks with his Moog synthesizer. Open Mind has been re-mastered by 2023 Grammy Nominee Christoph Stickeland includes new liner notes.

Deep Purple’s “Bombay Calling – Live in `95“, will be released in a remastered Limited Numbered 3 LP Gatefold Vinyl as well as a Limited Numbered 2 CD Digipak, both versions including the Live-DVD! This live take had only been available on bootleg-quality DVD so far. “Bombay Calling” was recorded in early 1995 and is one of the first shows Deep Purple played with Steve Morse showcasing his virtuosic guitar skills and some of the new material would later make it onto the widely celebrated studio album “Purpendicular”. Astonishingly, the long thought lost master tapes for this unforgettable show in Mumbai were found lying around in an old cardboard box in November 1999. A true gem for any fan, they offer rare insight into the extraordinary talents of this phenomenal rock band. The Indian press gave the concert rave reviews, with many claiming it to be the best rock show ever staged in India.

Absolute Body Control was formed by Dirk Ivens in 1980 influenced by the sound produced by the likes of Suicide, D.A.F. and the UK electronic scene. Eric Van Wonterghem joined the project next year just after the release of the debut 7" "Is There An Exit?". They released together just some cassettes during its brief initial run, but this was enough to gain a following in and outside Belgium. A compilation of tracks entitled "Eat This" was eventually done in 1993 and a first edition of the collection "Lost / Found" was issued on CD in 2005.

Dirk and Eric took the project back on stage in 2006 and decided to re-activate it. They first re-recorded some of their classic songs for the album "WindReWind" and then continued releasing new material and touring all Europe and beyond.

"Lost / Found" is the definitive collection of this minimal-synth-wave act and is now available for the first time on vinyl record with a total of 52 songs including 8 previously unreleased.

Absolute Body Control is back with new material after more than ten years. The legendary minimal-synth-wave duo formed in 1980 by Dirk Ivens (The Klinik, Dive, Sonar) and joined a bit later by Eric van Wonterghem (Insekt, Monolith) has been working together again and got finished a new EP. Six songs that fuse their classic sound with a theme that reflects the times of change that humanity is going through.

ASC is back on the label, now stronger than ever, this time orbiting the Gallery section, and show us how elegantly he is able to take textures and techno to the next level.

There is no exaggeration when we say that this artist is a pillar in our label and the way he is able to show us how techno can have infinite beautiful layers on each listen is outstanding.

Inspired bay The Old Oklahoma Tribe 'The Coward Shoots With His Eyes Open#

Steve Cobby and Laurie Welton are both from Hull in the north of England. Cobby is one of the members of the pioneering electronic outfit Fila Brazillia while Welton is the man behind the Myth! project, whose "False Profits" EP was released last year on Posthuman's Balkan Recordings label. In fact, Cobby has known Welton's aunt for 20 years and Laurie has been a fan of Fila Brazillia since the early '90s. So when Laurie was asked by Steve to collaborate with him, he jumped at the chance.

The fruits of their collaboration are the three tracks on the "Absolute" EP. This release is truly an international affair; the label, Adam Warped's Whiskey Pickle imprint, is based in Austin, Texas, the artists are from the UK, while a remix of "Absolute" comes courtesy of New Yorkers Whatever/Whatever, a duo staffed by Bryan Mette and legendary NY DJ, producer and remixer Justin Strauss.

Milan based collective Just This are proud to present the 'Absolute Infinity EP', a joint release from Netherlands-based producers Sinfol and Octual. Featured in this package are two remixes from Gerd Janson prescribing a heavy dose of acid. Title track is a stripped back groove with a looping synth lead that wanders through ricocheting drums. For his first remix Gerd muffles the framework of the original, making room for a floating melody and warm lead, whilst the 'Acid Only' version takes the components of the original and throws them into a bath full of acid. Closing off the EP is 'Wire', a moody dancefloor cut for the after-hours.

Portuguese Techno star Lewis Fautzi returns to Soma with another Earth shattering release as he drops the Molecular Spasms EP. The young producer once again shows great depth and knowledge with 4 straight up dance floor killers all set together his unique, futuristic sound.

The music of Hubur is full of details and small elements that trigger the big picture profoundly. You can call his music electronic. You can say he writes tracks. But then there are some song-ish moments in them - even if there is no singing at all. Not at least because his melodies are tempting. You can also find traces of hip hop. Traces of leftfield electronics. Traces of jazz without jazz. A gentle ride with a story arc that absorbs profoundly and that does not require a commercial value to exist and be meaningful.

Originally released in 1993 by Hani AlBader on his first label Super Doppler Communications. It was primitively programed on 8track sequencer then recorded on a 4 track tape machine in his spare bedroom studio in Denver, Colorado. Only 300 hundred copies were pressed initially. It was not an easy record to sell to distributors at the time due to the various genres & sounds on it. Mailed out few promos to a handpicked list of names. One of them was dj Dubfire whom at the time was starting as Deep Dish. One morning in spring of 93' Hani received a phone call from Ali Shirazinia aka Dubfire who was full of compliments & requested similar tracks for his label.26 years later Hani's name became internationally known & till this day continues to produce & remix under many aliases while running his own label Soterios Records. In 2017 Hani started receiving several purchase requests from seekers of this record. Thanks to Discog they were able to find out who to contact.Jeep Warehouse Beats Vol:1 is now in high demand among techno / rave fans and some deejays are offering up to $110 per copy.
