Malenčyk / Lami is a double vinyl release pairing previously unpublished archival recordings of Belarusian fiddler Stanisłaŭ Malenčyk with a response to that archive by Italian sound artist Giovanni Lami.

Stanisłaŭ Malenčyk (1928–2007) was a self-taught fiddler from a small village in Western Biełaruś, born on land that was then Polish territory. He never studied music formally and never worked on a collective farm — he supported his family solely through playing, crafting his own violins and harmonicas by hand. The music he played was made for a community: weddings, christenings, a room full of people, a shared life. As life shifted toward the cities and the village dissolved, that music lost the only place it could exist. By the end of his life, Malenčyk — nearly blind — was playing for whoever happened to be there: at the local bazaar, on district buses, moving through the aisles. He simply couldn’t stay home. He had to play.

These recordings were made by ethnographer Mykoła Kozienka in Ščučyn in 1999 and have not been released until now.

Giovanni Lami approaches this archive from a distance that could hardly be greater — geographical, cultural, temporal.

Jorge Gamarra and D’Marc Cantu - two true hardware heavyweights - come together for a split EP, marking the sixth release on Zonate.

Jorge Gamarra takes the A-side with two emotion fuelled productions. Eleven Minute Shrink opens - an instantly memorable, ear-worm melody underpinned by driving electro. A standout production with real versatility. This is followed by Prolonged Grief Disorder, a more textured and immersive piece, with tension conveying a real sense of raw emotion. D’Marc Cantu handles the B-side. Based on the outskirts of Detroit, and with over two decades of stellar releases behind him, he delivers two tracks written between 2019–2020.

Haystack explores the proverbial needle-in-a-haystack - a peak-time weapon that toys with chaos through rising energy and chopped vocals, before pulling itself back into tightly controlled club pressure. Closing the record is Madripoor, a deeper cut built around floating synth lines, capturing the essence of electro’s golden era.

‘UK House Sermon’ stands proudly alongside many US house fables and its delivery pays homage to the likes of The Streets, ‘Weak Become Heroes’, Ashley Beedle and Earl Zinger’s ‘Ghost Dancers’ and Daft Punk’s ‘Teachers’.

The 'UK House Sermon' trilogy is a behemoth of a project. The original concept of saluting the trailblazing UK House DJs was conceived by producer/remixer/DJ, Dan The Drum. He enlisted the amazing team of Stuart Patterson narrating, Carmy Love on vocals and musical maestro, Darren Morris on co-production and all additional instrumentation.

Legendary remix combo, X-Press 2 have waded in and rolled up their remixing sleeves to deliver two massive slabs of prime time house niceness. The 'Wild Pitch' remix is a dance floor destroyer of epic proportions with the 'Give Thanks' remix creeping up on you like a thief in the night. A magnificent brace of musical interpretations. Hats off to everyone involved.

Die Original Vinyl-LP von 1984 wurde in einer kleinen Auflage neu aufgelegt. Die Songs wurden von Barrington Levy im Channel One Studio eingesungen, mit den Roots Radics als Backing Band, um dann von Soldgie Hamiltion, Scientist und Sylvan Morris im Harry J und Channel One Studio abgemischt zu werden, als Produzent zeichnete Henry "Junjo" Lawes verantwortlich. Das Titelstück "Prison Oval Rock" war als Single bereits 1982 erfolgreich in Jamaika erschienen und ist hier neben dem Original auch in der Dubversion zu hören, und wurde später von Collie Buddz in "Hustle" (2001) und von Mr. Vegas' "Mus Come A Road" (2008) gesampled. Als weitere klassische Reggae Riddims wurden identifiziert "Skylarking" ( Song"Good Loving"), Pressure And Slide (Song "Please Jah Jah") und "Boops" (Song "Rip & Run Off").

As often, it started with discovering a CD, leading to the depths of the Internet Archive. I still remember the excitement of going through B.L. Underwood's recordings for the first time and realising how unique his approach to electronic music was, every track had something powerful yet moving within it, as he could play around with genres and tempos yet carrying a very distinctive touch. After a short detective work to get in touch with the artist, and quite some time curating the content of this compilation (the hardest part by far), System Of Objects is proudly presenting the remastered version of 6 of his tracks that showcast B.L. Underwood talent and uniqueness.

Losh is a series of parties held at the magical Chapala lake in Ajijic and Guadalajara, Mexico, aimed at preserving the essence of underground sound and its culture. The event has hosted performances by artists such as Satoshi Tomiie, Shonky, Priku, Arapu, Markus Nikolai and more. Now, Losh is exploring new horizons with the launch of its own vinyl label. The music for this second release features tracks by Tomodachi Club owner and Real Gang founder Miller, Head Honcho of Vatos Locos Héctor, Perlon legend Dandy Jack and one of Losh Team member James Bott.

As humankind strives to create artificial intelligence what will faith, love, or morality look like to a nascent consciousness?
Will it be capable of understanding its creators who often hold logic and superstition within themselves?
In return how will humans comprehend its hallucinations?
And the Sun, a ball of hot plasma oblivious to our existence continually burns hydrogen until it runs out and swallows its three closest neighbours.

"Melodic, dreamy bedroom pop with a nostalgic sheen" is how Tom Davies, creator of brand new dream-pop artist Flopsy's dream, describes this charming little album.
Some of you may know him as GeoWizard; the mad British adventurer/YouTuber who travels in straight lines, but here you get to see or indeed hear a completely different side to him - one that sings in soft, tuneful tones reminiscent of Damon Albarn or Ray Davies, builds ethereal, layered harmonies that wouldn't sound out of place on a Fleet Foxes track, and crafts gorgeous guitar and synth parts that could easily have come straight out of John Frusciante or Kevin Parker's handbook.
Written in a young Davies's bedroom between the years of 2008 and 2014, the songs themselves are far from brand new, but with the help of his good friend and writing partner Liam Rhodes (with whom he played in Birmingham Psychedelic outfit "Kinds of light"), Davies has brought these sentimental tracks to life whilst keeping them bang in line with their original vision.
The result is an album that doesn't really fit into any specific genre, in fact you could argue it's just regular old generic pop, but there's an innocence and a playfulness in there that disarms the listener and transports them to a simpler time when melody ruled supreme.

TECH040, titled INTRO, is a functional exploration of electronic music’s most delicate moments. The concept was born from Nastia’s personal experience as a globally touring DJ, identifying a distinct gap in the modern market: a scarcity of sophisticated, atmospheric tracks specifically designed to set the tone during the first minutes of a performance.

This compilation is more than just a collection of tracks; it is a professional toolkit. From deep hypnotism to restrained energy, each contribution has been meticulously selected for its ability to prepare the space and the audience for the journey ahead.

Conceived as a functional extension of the DJ set, the Intro / Outro series explores the moments that frame the dancefloor experience. Focused on beginnings and endings, each release navigates the subtle tension between anticipation and resolution – from the first pulse that opens a space, to the final echoes that dissolve it. Stripped of excess and driven by intent, the series reflects a deeper layer of Techno: not just as a peak-time tool, but as a language of transition, atmosphere and control.

The record, bringing together techno legends and contemporary tastemakers around the art of the "opening set," featuring the long-awaited production debut of the label head herself.

Westcoast’s vinyl imprint “Muted Noise” returns with another timeless release by Eastern Europe’s own Sapurra. Adding further depth to the record, the release also includes remixes by Adam Collins and label boss Halo Varga, both respected figures in the underground scene. Their reinterpretations bring fresh perspectives to Sapurra’s originals, reshaping the rhythms and injecting their signature sounds while preserving the essence of the tracks.

On B side we welcome 2 new faces to the Label: Lucia Scholtus originally from Argentina now based in Hamburg / Berlin with a funky oldskool flavoured tune and Sebastian Habben from the cologne collective and Label I'm in Love with a deep house mover called "Neighbors" that perfectly rounds up the ep.
House music all night long!

The Bluebeaters enjoyed a revival with their 2025 album Everybody Knows, released by Record Kicks. In 2023, to be included in a compilation created by Freedom Sounds Festival in Cologne (Germany), we reworked an extra track entitled TRINITY that had been left off the album. In addition to being included in the compilation, it became the first single on 7-inch vinyl released by the newly formed Caribb Roots.

Although we played it live, the recording of the song had been left half-finished, so we picked it up again, recorded the horns and vocals, and finished mixing it.

The song is linked to the very Italian tradition of Western film soundtracks, and Trinity is a seminal song in this sense.

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present MEGATON SWORD’s highly anticipated debut album, Blood Hails Steel – Steel Hails Fire, on CD, cassette and vinyl LP formats. It was but November of last year when MEGATON SWORD unleashed their glorious debut EP, Niralet, via DYING VICTIMS. Arriving fully formed, virtually without warning – no prior demo recordings existed, at least not publicly – this Swiss quartet evinced an ages-old sound that was wise (and wizened) well beyond their young years. Already, MEGATON SWORD knew the mystery of steel…and wielded it with a startling confidence. And no one knew just how high they could fly, only that they were just getting started. Now, with the arrival of their imminent debut album, Blood Hails Steel – Steel Hails Fire, MEGATON SWORD are marching into the halls of greatness, with no one to stop them. 1984 veröffentlichte P. Lion sein Erfolgsalbum “Springtime“. Jetzt endlich wieder als limitierte farbige Doppel-Vinyl. Sein Song “Happy Children“ ist bis heute einer der größten Hits der Italo Disco Szene. Die Deluxe Edition beinhaltet zusätzlich zum kompletten Album die Radio Versionen der beiden großen Hits “Happy Children“ und “Dream“.

Dazu gibt es zwei Mixe von “Happy Children“ und die Instrumental Version von “Dream“.

James Ruskin's Blueprint Records continue the 30th anniversary with another label stalwart as Mark Broom returns with his new EP, "Reality Check".



Mark Broom is a renowned British techno DJ and music producer whose career spans over three decades. Throughout his career, Broom has released over 150 singles, showcasing his versatility across various sub-genres of electronic music. In addition to his solo projects, Broom has engaged in numerous collaborations. He partnered with James Ruskin to form The Fear Ratio, exploring experimental sounds that blend elements of hip-hop, IDM and techno with four albums (to date) on Skam Records, Tresor and of course, Blueprint. Another highlight has been their "Ruskin & Broom" EPs which have peppered the label's roster.Now based in Norfolk (England), Broom continues to be a driving force in the techno scene.

Every Single Muscle, das fünfte Album der Band, ist das dritte, das von Sub Pop, dem angesehenen Label des walisischen Duos aus Seattle, veröffentlicht wird. Seit Very Human Features, das im Juni 2025 rauskam, sind die Lieblinge von BBC 6 Music und KEXP auf ihrer Nonstop-Tour quer über den Atlantik geflitzt, wie sie es früher auf der Severn Bridge gemacht haben. Verschiedene Festivalauftritte im Sommer haben sie davon abgehalten, Urlaub zu machen - wer braucht schon Urlaub, wenn man in Wales lebt? - bis es Zeit war, wieder ins Songwriting-Studio zu gehen. Das ist wahrscheinlich immer noch ein Schlafzimmer in Caldicott, das von einem Windhund namens Ted frequentiert wird (aufgepasst - er taucht in einem der Songs auf). Bring mit, was du willst; der Platz ist knapp, aber sie kriegen es irgendwie rein. Zu den Texten: Während ,Very Human Features" hervorragend alltägliche Dinge aufzeigte und ihre Absurdität hervorhob, schauen The Bug Club auf ,Every Single Muscle" genauer auf sich selbst. Horrorfilme haben ihr ,Body"-Subgenre, jetzt bekommen auch Garage-Rock-Alben ihres. In einem völlig neuen Sinne des Wortes selbstbezogen, wird die menschliche Form und Verfassung im Laufe des Albums aus jedem Blickwinkel beleuchtet und untersucht. Wir spüren eine surreale Distanz zum Selbst, die den allgegenwärtigen, von Langeweile geprägten Humor hervorbringt; im letzten Song verkündet Sam, dass er ,es satt hat, ein Mensch zu sein". The Bug Club scheinen dem Konzept, ein Mensch zu sein, fast misstrauisch gegenüberzustehen - als wären sie in einem Kostüm aufgewacht, das sie nicht anziehen wollten und nicht ausziehen können. Ist drei die magische Zahl? Wahrscheinlich nicht. Stalwart Birmingham, UK innovators Justin K Broadrick and Mick Harris have connected again as JK FLESH and MONRELLA to deliver the warehouse-destroying hard techno LP SHOUTING THE ODDS, five years after their last EP, SEE RED.

Featuring four tracks from each artist, SHOUTING THE ODDS invokes both the feeling of listening to late night pirate radio and sweating in a darkened warehouse as the rafters shake, complete with the perfect amount of analog wow and flutter. Brimming with gnarled, unrelenting kicks hovering between 130–140bpm, the split format deftly showcases both artist's individual strengths, while displaying undeniable commonality.

Broadrick's side leans traditional hard techno, filled with mesmerizing, minimal synth arpeggios and contrasting toplines, all aligned and maligned by shrewd transitions. Harris' section presents more experimental and house influences, using bright, distorted synth hits and a touch of forlorn melody. The tracks take on a life of their own through expert use of filters and just the right amount of delay, stutter, and glitch.

Still compelled by the space they first opened, Gūsū returns with a second release, “Inhabiting Me”. What began as a shared approach, sprouted from intuition, has grown denser and more defined, holding on to that same fragility and openness. The duo continues to befriend with contrast, friction and proximity, shaping a language that inhabits their uncommon ground.

Vintage drum machines, tape delays and bass guitar widen the sonic ground, adding pulse, grain and instability, while the guzheng holds its place in full clarity. Each sound source becomes each other’s ornament, forming to gesture the next currents.

What emerges is less a fixed composition than a shifting form: precise in detail, impossible to contain. Gūsū is a transcultural music project born from the confluence of two distinct artistic voices: Xueyan Chen and Nicolas Balmer.
