With this release, Stef de Haan reflects on this idea and ventures into territories beyond his usual sound, moving from a garage stepper to minimal techno, alongside two remixes - all approached with a fresh, modern take on music production.

After last year's extroverted and funky album "Be Who You Wanna Be," Stef Kamil Carlens presents a more introspective double album recorded with Nel Ponsaers and Rahmat Emonds. Featuring 14 songs—some of his own compositions and very surprising covers or reinterpretations—this album emphasizes lyrics, vocals, and a band sound primarily driven by acoustic instruments. Once again, it stands as a key addition to the already very eclectic catalog of one of Belgium’s most versatile and productive artists. Stef Kamil Carlens & The Poem will tour starting in October 2025.

The song sets the tone of this album. A simple structure, over which a web of rhythm is woven using an instrumentation of old drum machines in dialogue with live drums and percussion. Lots of sax, tenor and baritone! A pumping bass. A frisky pizzicato violin. And some classic keyboards: the Fender Rhodes, the Hohner Clavinette D6, the L-100 Hammond organ. And lots of analogue synthesisers: a rippling Juno-106 marks the path to follow, which is crossed with phrases from other museum pieces: Crumar's Stratus, Farfisa's Synthorchestra, Sequential's Prophet-10. Or still the Casio Club M-100, which is basically a toy, but has been subtly colouring SKC's songs for years!

SKC has often dived deep into the repertoire of artists he holds in high esteem, looking for pearls, forgotten or not, to work on. Likewise on this album with versions of songs by Prince, Dez Mona, Alain Bashung…

A playful, funky album, born from the desire to be live again; a playful and funky band that will tour extensively in Belgium and the Netherlands from April. First single 'Walk On Red, Stop On Green' sets the tone of this new album. A simple structure, over which a web of
rhythm is woven using instruments from old drum machines: the Roland CR-78, in dialogue with live drums and percussion. Lots of sax, tenor and baritone! A pumping bass. A frisky pizzicato violin. Vocals based on the 'Boy Scout Trail' principle; the leader sings and the others repeat. "Lost in the spinning sound" is the 12th studio album by The Dining Rooms (Stefano Ghittoni and Cesare Malfatti) who, over the years, have delved into an original style that balances cinematic atmospheres with funk, dub and ambient music. Here they have invited just one vocal guest, Chiara Castello from I'm Not a Blonde, for a collaboration that delivers a slow, nocturnal, orchestral, very minimalist album, oscillating between folk and blues, with deeply meaningful lyrics that explore the intricate nature of interpersonal relationships. The album cover, an illustration by Sara Vivan, conveys the idea of metamorphosis and invites us to dive into the sounds that surround and protect us. This is also the main message of the album: losing ourselves in order to protect ourselves a little. Drifting along and finding new, safer and more peaceful shores.

This Raven With A Crown 02 is a new fledgling label materializes in the Violent Cases universe. Corvus Corone - also known as the carrion crow - is stylistically dedicated to true Tribal sounds.This is not chipmunk tribal with laughing gas voices, this is serious stuff as you can expect from Violent Cases because evil forces are invading lala land and we need to gather the tribes. The roadmap for the project covers territory cultivated by the likes of Isotope, LBE and DSP just to name a few reference points.

Our next 7” release welcomes young and talented key player Stefano Nardon from Vicenza, Italy.
The record features two jazz-infused broken beat compositions, performed and recorded live, capturing an intimate and organic session feel.
On the A side, “Mangrovia” unfolds as a warm, floating piece built around Fender Rhodes textures, subtle harmonies and a slow-burning groove. A deep and immersive cut, balancing between jazz lounge aesthetics and cinematic mood.
The B side, “Underwater”, was created in collaboration with drummer Stefano Cosi (Padova). His live drum contribution adds movement and depth, giving the track a more dynamic pulse while maintaining the introspective character of the release.

For the first time in more than a decade, Paul St. Hilaire (AKA Tikiman) presents a solo album – 100% Tiki.

Over his 30-plus year career, St. Hilaire has become one of dance music’s quietly legendary figures. Born and raised in Dominica, he moved to Berlin in 1994 and has lent both his voice and his musicianship to some of the most iconic electronic music from the German capital – and beyond. Renowned for his collaborations with Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus (AKA Rhythm & Sound), he has also appeared on records with Deadbeat, Rhauder, Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers and Stereotyp (G-Stone Recordings), amongst others.

However, few know the extent of St. Hilaire’s compositional and technical mastery. From his home studio in Kreuzberg, which includes an extensive collection of vintage hardware, self-built instruments and notebooks scribbled with endless lyrics, he has created a vast archive of material spanning ambient dub, avant-jazz, lush techno and lovers rock.

Tikiman Vol. 1 is a heady, downtempo tour de force of patois metaphors on education, displacement and personal vs. global histories, as is evident on slippy album opener “Bedroom in My Bag”: Mister, mister / Where are you going? / I’m heading for a faraway land / What are you having in the bag in your hand? / Help us to understand / He said, I’ve got my bedroom in my bag.

Overall, the album’s lyrics reflect on life between Berlin and Dominica, specifically St. Hilaire’s hometown of Grand Bay, where he has worked with various musicians famous for the island’s different genres of carnival music. St. Hilaire himself always favoured the island’s more “discrete” music, developing a sonic synergy between two different geographical strains of groove and minimalism, and combining them with foundational Caribbean mixing techniques, which provide the basis for his songwriting and distinct
baritone.

Tikiman Vol.1 offers a rare insight into St. Hilaire’s complex artistry, from the eyes-down grooves of “Little Way” and the guitar-heavy digi dancehall experiment “Keep Safe,” to the subtle hypnosis of “Ten to One” and the softly crashing synth waves of closer “Three And A Half”, evoking not only beaches but also coasts and borders. It’s a fitting expression of both the breadth of St. Hilaire’s work, as well as his history as one of the few black, Berlin-based artists who, despite remaining largely overlooked, has influenced the city’s electronic music culture since its beginnings.

Juju Love, one of the earliest tracks created by HIA, receives it's first release on vinyl. Side A of the EP has been given over exclusively to Juju Love, cut at 45rpm for maximum bass, fidelity and dynamic range.

Unearthed for HIA's celebrated live performance at Terraforma festival in 2022, Juju Love has become a favourite with audiences around the globe at HIA's extensive live shows in recent years.

Previously only available as a live recording on a limited promo cassette tape 'HIA Live From The Back Of Beyond' (1993) and more recently on the digital only 'Preform' release on Headphone records.

Combined with Speedlearn (Frontal Lobe) and W.H.Y on Side B, these three tracks together are taken from a particular moment in HIA's timeline.

Speedlearn (Frontal Lobe) the definitive version of this track, was released on HIA's debut 'Speedlearn EP'(1993). Inspired by an episode of the surreal 1960's cult tv series The Prisoner, in which Speedlearn - a subliminal television-based education program presented as a revolutionary fast-track method of learning - turns out to be a tool for mass thought control and indoctrination.

W.H.Y appeared on Ambient Dub Volume 2 on Beyond Records (1993) and Preform.

As we celebrate 30 years of Ten Lovers Music our first offering of the year is a Various Artist selection called Frisson EP Part 1. Frisson is a medical term for the response you get from listening to music, often referred to as goosebumps or a skin orgasm which is caused by the dopamine released in the brain’s reward centres.
Kicking off the A side we have Sound Signals featuring flautist Han Litz, a superb opener. Following on are Future Jazz Ensemble and Don’t Be Afraid, another track from them oozing quality. Onto side AA and Mike Perras is back with another live track featuring keys, drums, bass and a battling flute and sax on Sweet One. Rounding off side AA is Stefano De Santis with Simple Things, an aptly named track for this music that gives us Frisson.

Mit Grumpy Pieces kehrt der Düsseldorfer Musiker Harmonious Thelonious alias Stefan Schwander mit einem Werk zurück, das seine langjährige Klangästhetik präzise destilliert und zugleich spürbar aufreibt. Die acht Stücke wirken wie unter Spannung gesetzt: Melodien schaben über kantige Bassfundamente, scharfe Snare-Schläge durchschneiden das Gefüge, und trotz des klaren Groove-Fokus ist ständig ein nervöses Knistern präsent. Grumpy Pieces reflektiert eine Gegenwart voller politischer und gesellschaftlicher Reibung - ohne explizite Kommentare, aber mit einer Musik, die Reibung selbst zum Gestaltungsmittel macht. Während die A-Seite vergleichsweise direkt beginnt, öffnet sich die B-Seite zunehmend dem kontrollierten Zerfall, bis der finale Track "Dissolving" den Titel programmatisch umsetzt. Entstanden ist das Album in Schwanders Düsseldorfer Studio - intuitiv, unmittelbar, ohne große Bildschirm-Arrangements, eng verwoben mit seiner live-erprobten, tranceartigen Arbeitsweise. Grumpy Pieces ist kein Bruch, sondern eine Zuspitzung: ein kraftvoll verdichtetes, körperliches und zugleich unruhiges Album, das die charakteristische Handschrift von Harmonious Thelonious schärft. Das vierte Album von Big Harp, "Runs To Blue", kommt mit Songs über Fernweh und Verlust, Liebe zu den eigenen Kindern und zum Partner, der Akzeptanz des Älterwerdens und der gleichzeitigen Wehmut darüber, dass wir nie wieder so sein können wie früher, genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt. Es ist, als würde man Stefanie Drootin und Chris Senseney eines Abends zu Hause besuchen und ihnen zuhören, wie sie lachend und weinend Geschichten aus ihrer Vergangenheit erzählen und Hoffnungen für die Zukunft schmieden. Nur Akustikgitarre, Bass und zwei Stimmen, die sich blind verstehen: "Runs To Blue" ist das schlichteste Album von Big Harp. Gleichzeitig ist es aber das emotional komplexeste – zwei lange verbundene Leben, verdichtet zu zehn offenen und berührenden Songs. Eine Momentaufnahme im Leben eines Paares, dessen Beziehung mit Musik begann und ihr bis heute treu bleibt. BLUE & WHITE COLOUR IN COLOUR VINYL

In the culinary arts, it’s easy to overcomplicate the final product. Theme, presentation, texture…they’re important but should work to complement the raison d'etre of any food. At the end of cooking a dish, it should taste good and feed people. Some dishes, like barbeque or provoleta, resist the tendency towards hollow showmanship. One of their expressions can be more or less aesthetic, but the first purpose is to be simple and tasteful. Argentinian provoleta goes so far as to blur the line between ingredient and dish. It relies on the inherent flavor of provolone being heated at the right speed for the perfect amount of time. You can add garlic or chives or red pepper to the slice, but ultimately they serve to bring out an essence that’s already there.

Los Angeles’ Cousin Feo has developed his rapping acumen in the five years since releasing Provoleta, but returning to the project today shows that he always had the penmanship, grit and delivery that christens an emcee worthy of remembrance. Like the bubbles rising up in the appetizer that is the album’s namesake, Feo showed that true profundity is found in the simple gestures.

Since dropping the project in 2019, Cousin Feo has expanded his vision of a world where hip-hop and football, two proletarian art forms, mingle in creative and compelling ways. He has collaborated across multiple continents, chronicled football histories, aided in canonizing legends, kept the flames high in age-old rivalries and constantly forced his audience to search for the last time they heard bars this hard. In anyone else’s hands it would be too great a task.

The maturity he showed on Provoleta wasn’t nascent, it was an inherent quality forcing itself to the surface. The songs refract his experience as a working class Angeleno through the archetypes of Argentinian football legends. The kernel that unites the two worlds is hustle. When Feo was coming up, missteps had greater consequences than crashing out in the group stage and street deals had the weight of a Boca-River Plate match.

Each track uses slightly different ingredients to let Feo’s underlying talent shine. “Maradona” feels salvific, fitting for a football legend canonized from the Andes to the Alps and a Los Angeles rapper looking to inspire similar hope in the neighborhoods that raised him. On “Di Stefano” Feo massages the instrumental with the same composure of the late forward, until he pierces through the headphones like one of Di Stefano’s arrows. It’s also refreshing to hear a song celebrating Messi before his meme-ification, focusing on the universal truths contained in his footballing talent instead of using number 10 as a stand-in to make a point in a fruitless argument. And he still finds space to show deference to Batistuta, Kempes and other members of the Argentinian pantheon who’ve been erased from the popular imagination by the national team's contemporary success.

Real ones know that true players, true rappers, and true artists will always stand the attacks of time and consensus. In Provoleta’s first verse, Cousin Feo says he moves with the hand of God. Maybe one day he’ll tell the whole truth and let us know how he was able to wrestle the pen away too. Limited edition of 300 hand-numbered copies.

“Echoes of the Earth – Episode 1: Central Africa” is the new EP by Railway Movement, the project of Stefano Cattivera with Ettore Vozza (keyboards) and Alessandro Gizzi (percussion). Blending ambient electronics, organic rhythms, and archival sounds from a 1980s cassette of Central African field recordings, it creates a sonic journey through nature, ritual, and memory.

White Lunar presents its second release Red Orbit, featuring four club-ready tracks from Mogwaa, Eric OS, Oho x Stefano Andriezzi, and A:G.

Founded in 1988 by Frank and Karen Mendez as a vehicle for The Burrell Brother’s prolific creative output, the legendary NYC label Nu Groove was relaunched in 2021, reinstating its cult status and quickly becoming a home for genre pioneers. Today its eclectic catalogue continues to grow with label returnee Stefan Braatz delivering his ‘Planet 2 Planet EP’, a four-track vinyl release showcasing this Berlin underground authority’s deeply synthetic club sound and timeless influences, including a collaboration with Virgo Four on the title track.

"Recorded in Naples historic recording studio Auditorium Novecento ‘notes from the air’ is the second Ciro Vitiello full-lenght album, that turns around the ambiguous figure of the seagull, a coastal apparition both ridiculous and divine, foolish and sacred, graceful in flight yet uneasy on land, something that knows more than it shows, carrying both wonder and threat in its gaze.

On side A the most pristine of dub techno is on offer here, this is Detroit techno stripped down to its most minimal core. A gorgeous subtle ambient soundscape exploring the deepest end of dub and house with gentle surges of organic elements, field recordings and modular movements simply out of this world. The "Reduction" mix on side B captures those chilling glacial soundscapes, trademark basslines and mesmerizing gaseous atmospheres subtly layer into the mix. Otherworldly to say the very least, this is music to swim in, breathe in and to pray to - for the spirit and the soul. Essential!

While listening to these remasters you can feel the analog warmth of the original tape recordings, with a low end rumble in a way only POLE could pull off! On the A side we have cv313's classic "Lost Sequence" culled from the celebrated Japan exclusive "live" double CD album released back in 2009. On the B side there's a rare live version performed by intrusion at a loft event put on by the good folks over @ Little White Earbuds. This rare recording was reduced and stripped down, core traces of the original swim inside oceanic bass and modulated high end frequencies creating an atmosphere all of its own. This is one for the heads and a true lesson in space and bass!
