Endlich: der klassische Steely Dan-Katalog ist wieder auf Vinyl erhältlich. Unter der Leitung von Walter Becker und Donald Fagen veröffentlichten Steely Dan zwischen 1972 und 1980 sieben Alben. Die VinylReihe wird nun mit „Countdown to Ecstasy“ fortgesetzt, dem umfangreichen zweiten Album der Band aus dem Jahr 1973, welches Welthits wie ”Bodhisattva”, ”Show Biz Kids” und ”My Old School” enthält. .

Das Album erhielt von Musikkritikern in zahlreichen rückblickenden Bewertungen Höchstnoten.

Das Album ist nun ab dem 26. Mai als 1LP Vinyl erhältlich.
