Nach der hochgelobten LP 'Darkness Brings Wonders Home' (2020) meldet sich das Alt-Folk-Duo Smoke Fairies mit seinem neuen Studioalbum 'Carried In Sound' zurück. Schon die erste Single 'Vanishing Line“' mit ihrer warmen Ästhetik ist ein wunderbar gefühlvoller Einstieg in das neue Werk. Ein Gefühl innerer Stärke dominiert die neue Platte. Und obwohl sich 'Carried In Sound' nicht davor scheut, Dunkelheit zu thematisieren, spürt man überall die Sehnsucht nach Licht. Ein intimes, emotionales und lohnendes Hörerlebnis.
