After having released their debut EP „Fading Pictures“ in 2019, we are proud to present Aksel & Aino’s first full length titled “Lullabies for Submarines”.
The album is light & dark, mysterious & emotional and above all it is a grand tale of companionship. While celebrating the uncountable facets of human relationships with all the sadness that comes along naturally, the duet of Aksel’s instrumentations and Aino’s poetry always remains upbeat (positive) looking into a bright future, leaving us with the simplest, most sincere and best wish of them all: “I hope we grow old together somewhere inside this great adventure we use to call life.”

We are extremely happy to introduce you to Møzaika's first full-length record titled "Silver Tide". Its healing music has been a constant companion to us over the past two years. 2020 finally seems to be the right time to share it with the world. It is a wonderful album to be listened to as a whole - a continuous piece of music with many exciting turns showing the artist's close connection to nature as well as a deep knowledge of his musical ancestry.

Having finished the announcement for RIP Swirls first EP that was out late last year on Public Pos-session, titled “9Teen90”, with the words: “A better life starts here”… we now find ourselves in a situa-tion where we might have given a slightly off prognosis. Despite whatever happened out in the real world, Rip Swirls music was a good & constant companion in the last couple of month.
On his new EP he picks up where he has left off in terms of mood, subtly introducing more silhouet-tes of his broad musical tastes. As icing on the cake the record includes features by “Catnapp” and “Sofie”. Wherever you may be - we “Hope U Are Well”. Enjoy the music.

Part I (Disc 1)

The Taiwanese artist Yutie Lee covers six Chinese folk songs about Flowers.
Tuberosa, Rose, Jasmine, Plum Blossom, Orchids & Chamomile all are odes to the beauty of the plant. The flower also being a metaphor for something we are desperately longing for, but can never quite get. However you may want to interpret the songs, they are all telling a story of something pure and indestructible. In the end nature will prevail?
Romantic thoughts created in a time long before the current state of the world.
By artificially mutating her voice, Yutie Lee successfully manages to transfer the songs into 2020s arguably much more complex, dystopian reality. She does this not without a bow to the past, prevailing something of the original songs sweet essence, even adding a layer of humour… in the end leaving the listener with a feeling of good hope.

To complete the package Yutie Lee’s versions have been remixed by, Alva Noto, Bell Towers, Laura Groves, Oceanic and Suzanne Kraft.

Møzaika returns to Public Possession with another four track EP. For “Drive”, the lead title, he collaborates with Australian Sui Zhen. Together they produced a beautiful, mystic Synth Pop track. A dub version of that track completes the A-Side. On the B-Side you will find “Crépuscule”, mellow cowbell boogie and the dreamy, ethereal “Never see You again”. We hope you enjoy!

Bell Towers is finally back with a new record for Public Possession. IKEA HACK origi-nally produced for the runway, was too good not to explore further.
Once again perfectly showcasing BT`s abillity to transform emotions into melodies, bridging gaps between various musical influences - the revisited and extendend ver-sions presented here, will leave you with two choices: CHILLOUT & DANCE MIX. In ad-dition the material was handed over to Baba Stiltz, who delivered his very own more minimalistic, extremly hypnotic take on the IKEA HACK.

Sound does not usually come from a single source. Emotions usually do not come from a single source. The way we perceive is by filtering. Within this complex process there are many difficulties to overcome and many discoveries to make. How long is the club inside of you - after you have been inside of him How do Love, Soup and Beer choices affect your daily life And what do an Island and an Airport have in common By morphing real life situations into musical phantasies Mr. Tophat tries to find answers to these and many other questions. Along the way there is darkness but also fun and hope.

PP SERIE is here to combine music by label artists & friends showcasing a broad spectrum of Audio Entertainment. "SERIE A" features: trance inducing collage, pop build up, homage to the almost forgotten communication medium Telefon and a heavy acid tool.

Catalogue Number PP018 has been work in progress for quite a while now. Wind-s originally appeared in a slightly different version as part of the soundtrack to one of Rohtheaters` plays. The track features all the typical Obalski elements we have grown so fond of in the past. Dreamy pads and odd melodies create the sort of ambient that carries you away somewhere else (Bravo!). We decided that it would be interesting to hear other artists take their turn on the material. The Japanese duo Mascaras (Chida & 5ive) transformed Wind-s in an atmospheric drum workout. Fantastically incorporating the breezy synth elements of the original into their flow of percussion. Press play - Lift off. The B-Side gives space to Nick Höppner's epic Techno groove.
