Hailing from North-west UK, singer and producer Joe Yorke is classed as one of the most promising UK reggae artists of his generation. His exceptional and unique falsetto voice paired with his profound and poetic lyrics have caught the attention of some of the best producers and labels and an ever-growing fanbase. Joe has entered the stage with support from reggae/dub legends such as David Rodigan, Don Letts, Dennis Bovell, Nick Manasseh and Stand High Patrol. His latest single comes via Steppas Records in collaboration with upcoming UK dub producer Yaksha, “Rocking Ship” is a poignant and compassionate commentary on the plight of refugees. Mixed by Alpha Steppa, featuring a heavyweight, stripped back dub mix for company. A crucial 7” for collectors, home listening and sound systems alike.

For their first musical outing of 2012, Dubkasm take a walk down the avenues of digital 80s reggae, showcasing the fresh vocals of Rudey Lee and Solo Banton. 8 bit sounds meet tough JA riddims, with shades of Jammy's, Gussie Clarke and Steely & Cleevie, expertly mixed by UK veteran Nick Manasseh with razor-sharp precision. A key figure in Bristol's reggae ancestry, Rudey Lee helped connect the Bristol Sound with its dub origins through collaborations with legendary pioneers Smith & Mighty during the 90's. On his first outing since his appearance on Pinch's debut album 'Underwater Dancehall', Rudey takes us back to his reggae roots with 'Emotion', a soulful dancefloor bubbler with a conscious edge. Solo Banton, ever powerful in his hard-hitting delivery, proceeds to nail the message home with 'Are You Ready', a no-compromise deejay version taking things to a higher level. This cut guarantees a rewind in any dancehall, building on Solo's hit-after-hit track record, proven through his work with Jahtari, Maffi and Reality Shock.

Soul Revivers are back with ‘Holding it Down’, the first single from the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut album ‘On The Grove’. • For ‘Holding it Down’, Nick Mansseh and David Hill enlist the help of West London keyboard maestro and producer, Ash Walker, and ace vocalist Lyn Gerald. • Together they’ve cooked up an ethereal but infectious tune, which tips its hat to the great Jackie Mittoo and oozes balmy summer evenings. • Being a Soul Revivers single, the main track comes with a Manasseh dub workout, of course, titled ‘Holding the Dub’.

return with a new 7" single 'Shouting Dub' / 'Furthest Dub'.
Shouting Dub' is a rebuild of a classic, vintage rhythm that
was recorded at Studio One, and features Henry Matic
Horns Tenyue on trombone, Dougal Caston on sax, and
Adrian McKenzie on drums. 'Furthest Dub' is a fresh dub to
'Look No Further' (from the 'On The Grove' LP), which
features featuring Ms. Maurice, bandleader of London-based
Afro-jazz collective Kokoroko. Both tracks were mixed live on
the board, old school style, at Yard Studios by Soul Revivers’
Nick Manasseh.

* Classic roots / dub from 1992 produced by Nick `Manasseh’ and Jeremy `The Equalizer’ Armstrong, with vocals from reggae legend Earl Sixteen known for his work with the likes of Lee Perry, Augustus Pablo, Mikey Dread and Leftfield.

* Originally released on Youth and Alex Patterson’s WAU! Mr Modo label in 1989 and produced by Sound Iration (Nick Manasseh and Scruff).
* Originally recorded as `It Must Be a Dream’ in the 70s, on this cut, Bim revisits the track in `89 with a meditative part-digital rhythm from Sound Iration backed with a phased-out dub version on the flipside.

Soul Revivers continue onwards from their earlier 2022 release ‘On The Grove’ with the hotly anticipated dub version ‘Grove Dub’.

An ambitious, collaborative project, producers David Hill and Nick Manasseh bring together reggae legends, including Ken Boothe and Ernest Ranglin, with the hottest UK musical talent, in what has become the standout reggae project of the year.

The dub version continues in the same vein - another instalment in the rich history of West London reggae and dub.

‘I Want You To Be Mine’ has all the hallmarks of classic 1960’s Rocksteady, an era which many refer too as the Golden Age of Jamaican music. Over the top of a live one-drop beat, cool & deadly sax and warm analog guitar & bass Deemas J rides the riddim in a ‘old time style & fashion’ whilst Rachel Wallace provides the perfect accompaniment with her gorgeous vocal. On the B-Side we have the deeper cut ‘Questions’, where Deemas delivers a poignant poem over Adam Prescott’s moody instrumental in the style of Linton Kwesi Johnson. Another dig from the vaults results in another reissue in a 90s roots / dub classic which was recorded and produced by two of the most respected producers in the UK reggae scene: Nick `Manasseh' Raphael and Dougie `Conscious Sounds' Wardrop.
* Originally released on an extremely hard-to-find Conscious Sounds 7' in 1990.
* Featuring UK based roots reggae singer Tena Stelin and Centry which was the given name to any project that Dougie was involved with before he formed Bush Chemists.
