The reissue of "On Ice" was never fully embraced by lyricist Natascia ''Nati'' Maimone, straying from her tastes in soul, blues and jazz. It was also overshadowed by her previous hip-hop track, "AM-FM" - released from Best Record in 1983 - which made the artist world-famous at the age of twenty.
