Chicago Proto House Re-issue with Gerd Janson & Enzo Elia Edit

Master Plan was the Chicago based dance music project of Pepper Gomez and Tom O’Callahan. Spanning from 1984 to 1986, the groups development is in sync with the dance music scene of Chicago during that era. While their first record „Pushin’ Too Hard“ is a Windy City version of the NYC club music of the time and its European cross-pollination, „Electric Baile“ from two years later down the line is almost a quantum jump into house music. With the engineering help of Matt Warren, it bears the marks of Ron Hardy, Chip E, Farley Jackmaster Funk or the WBMX dance party craze, if you will. Here you have remastered and updated versions by Enzo Elia and Gerd Janson. The first ones’ edit attempt of „Electric Baile“ ignited this edition. A custom-tailored main mix is completed by a dub and useful bonus beat version to do, what DJs used to do. Concluded by two edits of „Pushin’ Too Hard“ by GJ, you get two great slices of yesterday that are still major dance music blue prints today.

Without a doubt, these productions leave a lasting impression and atmosphere, as already proven in our label head’s sets. The EP kicks of with "Silvio," featuring a rolling bassline reminiscent of the disco edits from the 2000s, like "Je Dàvu’s – Limitiert #9" or Rub n Tug’s classic edits, yet with a remarkably wild touch that gives the track its unique character. "Aus Music" might already be familiar to some from Dixon’s Cercle set and is, without question, a standout. It combines clever production with a certain spice that makes it a special companion in your usb stick and disco bag. Finally, "Mulher Gato" rounds out the EP, providing a fitting conclusion to a release that is set to resonate long after the last note.

B2 brings up the intensity with Kalumet's take on "Nobody Knows The Way". With a bass section that would've made Paps proud this is an uncompromising banger for a The Dome-session at 3am.

As a finale we've invited the highly talented Mikkel Rev from the Oslo-based Ute.-crew. Like us, Mikkel and Ute. are not ashamed of their love for true, deep Trance music. On the contrary, Mikkel's remix of "Like A Plucked Flower" oozes confidence in it's celebratory and life-affirming drive.

This release is further elevated by two exceptional remixes from Christopher Ledger, one of the most respected producers in the contemporary scene. Modularz is back once again with a stellar release this time from seasoned producer Paul Ritch. The French native is here to deliver five tracks of pulsating techno
breed for the club and another project that adheres to the flagship. The Modularz sound has become so distinct and this EP showcases those rhythmic bouncing basslines and deep riding kick drums. Nuit Blanche is four tracks of punchy dancefloor driving kick drums that are coupled with eccentric modulations and synths. Expect underground crevice hidden chords deep textured and dripping sounds. Some cuts deliver sci-fi alien beeps and stabs that would make any martian jealous. The hi-hats are icy and the snares hype inducing: no matter the pace each cut is a weapon.

Originally issued in 1996 and now re-pressed for the first time by A.R.X. and Krisis Publishing, Pressure of Speech ''Our Common Past, Our Common Future'' remains one of the best-kept secrets of 1990s British electronica. Founded by Mickey Mann, together with fellow explorers Luke Losey (lighting designer for Orbital) and DJ Stika (already part of Spiral Tribe), their elusive second album is an obsidian relic of screwed ambient techno, mutant breakbeat and hypnotic radical sounds excavated from the goldmine of the UK's post-rave underground.

Y-3003 marks the critical third instalment of the recently founded Y-3000 imprint. Solitary Dancer return as the sonic architects of the runway score for adidas & Yohji Yamamoto's pioneering Y-3 label, arguably their most ambitious collaboration to date. The SS26 Y-3 Presentation at the Palais Brongniart in Paris saw the duo work alongside movement director, choreographer & dramaturg Kiani Del Valle and the KDV Performance Group to present -- ''I'll Meet You At The Horizon'' -- a genre-blurring performance that shattered preconceptions around the traditional fashion runway, again capturing Y-3's vision for the future, and renewing the brand's commitment to transcendent expressivity.

Forthcoming on our home label Prospektiva, PRZ11eleven marks the first VRSION release in nearly a decade.
The alias made its debut on Craig Richards’ The Nothing Special in 2015, with a remix from the late, great Trevino, before resurfacing in 2016 on Constant Sound, accompanied by a remix from Jesper Dahlbäck under his much-coveted moniker, The Persuader.

This release follows a long hiatus for VRSION, aka Irish producer Gavin Herlihy, a once-prolific fixture of the late 2000s whose work spanned a who’s who of leading techno labels before he retired his work under his own name in 2014. In 2024, Herlihy re-emerged with Between The Lines, a collaborative EP with debut artist Nikol under the name Body Copy, released via Barcelona's respected label O.C.D.

PRZ11eleven picks up where VRSION left off, delivering four tracks of timeless, acid-laced house and breakbeat techno with an ear to the future as well as the past.

As the fifth chapter in the band's discography, " The Neonai" arrived at a critical juncture in Lake of Tears' career, marking both an end and a reluctant new beginning. Released in 2002, three years after the melancholic masterpiece Forever Autumn, the album came to life under less-than-ideal circumstances.

Despite the commercial and critical success of its predecessor (the band's best- selling album to date) Lake of Tears found themselves adrift, unsupported by their label at a time when the world expected them to rise higher than ever. Instead of world tours and deserved recognition, the band withdrew, disillusioned, and made the difficult decision to put all activities on hold. But one last obligation remained: to deliver a final album to Black Mark Productions. What could have been a soulless, contract- bound release turned out to be anything but. "The Neonai" pulses with haunting melodies, infectious refrains, and a deeper embrace of keyboards and electronic textures, without ever losing the emotional gravity and sorrowful beauty that define Lake of Tears.

If this album was truly written "in haste," then let us hope Daniel Brennare continues to compose under pressure, for rarely has urgency sounded so inspired. As with the previous vinyl releases, we do not single out any specific tracks. Each song, like every Lake of Tears album, carries its own unique charm, its own shade of shadow and light. "The Neonai" is not simply a continuation, it is a transformation, an echo from a band caught between endings and new beginnings. Another gem in the band's catalogue, a masterpiece where the doom/ gothic equation tilts gracefully in favor of the latter. A deeply cherished album, long adored by Lake of Tears' devoted followers, who have waited patiently for 23 years to finally see it released on vinyl. After all, every ending is but the beginning of something new. And as we've said before: The end for Lake of Tears has not yet come, and we truly hope it won't come for a long, long time.

NA ZAROT opens a portal into a universe of darkness, chaos and spiritual upheaval. Juegos Nocturnos is the new project from two essential musicians of the '80s Spanish scene, coming from iconic bands like Décima Víctima and P.V.P. In this new musical venture, they deliver nine guitar-centered, refined pop-rock songs that reflect influences developed over 40+ years, recorded between 2020 and 2022. Jesús Amodia (guitar, vocals, programming, and keyboards) was a founding member of the punk-rock group P.V.P., a band often compared to The Clash and other British acts of the era thanks to their blend of punk energy with Jamaican influenced sounds. The project also features Per Mertanen (bass), member of cult band Décima Víctima, known for crafting a very distinctive sound with echoes of Joy Division, The Cure, and other British post-punk groups. Now united in this new musical adventure called Juegos Nocturnos, they present nine guitar-driven, sophisticated pop rock tracks that showcase influences shaped over more than four decades of musical career, recorded between 2020 and 2022.

They explore what it means to keep going when things fall apart, to hold onto connections in a world that sometimes divides, and to figure out where we fit into the machines and systems we find ourselves a part of.

Als sich die drei zum ersten Mal in Loveland im Colemine's Portage Lounge Studio trafen, war die Atmosphäre von einer gewissen Frische geprägt. Es war neu, es war das erste Mal, dass sie alle zusammen spielten. Es war aufregend, es war Neuland. Die Session für Emeralds lastete viel schwerer auf allen drei Mitgliedern. Da alle drei mit persönlichen Tragödien in ihrem individuellen Leben zu kämpfen hatten, war die Session für die Gruppe ein echter Moment der Freude. Nur drei talentierte Musiker, die nun als Freunde in einer vertrauten Umgebung Musik schreiben und spielen. Nirgendwo wird die Bedeutung dieser Session deutlicher als beim letzten Titel des Albums, ,Queen Of My Heart", einem Stück, das Jimmy für seine Mutter kurz nach ihrem Tod geschrieben hat. Mit schwerem Herzen und voller Emotionen ist Colemine Records sehr stolz darauf, das zweite Album dieser drei Meister präsentieren zu dürfen. Parlor Greens präsentiert_ Emeralds.
