Born and raised in Sicily but now based in Berlin, SLV is known for his innovative approach to techno and its various shades. He has released on revered labels like Soma and received support from key industry players who respect his ability to blend old-school vibes with modern production techniques. Away from the club, he also produces music for film soundtracks, adding a sense of cinematic edge to his techno cuts and is a master of both analog and digital technologies - a true audio engineer who crafts unique, compelling sounds. Having previously featured on the labels Federation of Rytm III compilation, he returns to SHDWs Mutual Rytm imprint with his Night Echoes EP to open up October.

Graustufen opens with punch drum programming and scintillating percussion that dances atop the groove as booming bass brings serious weight down low. The superb Grand Cayman is another potent techno weapon, this time with icy synth atmospheres and eerie moods pervading the tightly programmed drums and bass to deliver an unstoppable force. Voids brings urgent funk with its hunched-over, closely stacked kicks and suspensory pads, which never let up and keep you locked in the moment, while Elastik Pho echoes a classic Detroit sound with its soul-drenched beats and serene, uplifting, beautiful hi-tek style. Last but not least, That Night shows SLVs extraordinary range as it brings some soulful vocal loops and optimistic chords over thunderous drums, which are sure to power dance floors through to euphoria. Coastal Commission “Bring Down the Walls” “Bring down the Walls” was a nod to Raze’s “Break for Love”, Robert Owens “Bring Down the Walls” and Ritchie Hawtin’s use of the Roland 606 throughout “Sheet One.” We gave the tune a Californian psychedelic twist with conga laden drums, a moody synth, low pulsing 303 patterns + Benjamin Zephaniahs patois call to “Move the Body Rhythmwize!” The first PCH releases had dropped Worldwide to International acclaim from DJ’s far and wide across the Globe with support in London, Paris & New York. However the local scene here in L.A that preached “Love, inclusion & Unity” was anything but that. L.A at that time was very tribal & divided up into 3 camps. If you weren’t affiliated with any of them (aka independent) then you were pretty much locked out of getting any kind of gig support or the Dj’s from those camps actually playing the music. The local feedback from Dj’s was that what we were making wasn’t “house,” but “Techno” which was absurd to me. “Bring Down the Walls” was a mantra to “move the bod”y and in doing so “bring down the walls” of separation not just in L.A but throughout society in general. Thank goodness for support from people like Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, DJ Deep & Philly Stalwart King Britt. After years of copies going for upward of $100+ on Discogs the now freshly remastered copies by At Jazz’s Martin Iveson are finally hitting the platters this Spring.

Jesse Outlaw “Let it Go” I met Jesse at Beatnonstop Records on Melrose Ave with Miguel Placencia in the late 90’s. Miguel (RIP) was a mainstay in the Underground scene and had always been very supportive of my endeavors. He had had success with a huge release on Yellow Orange and was working with Jesse under the moniker “When Worlds Collide.” I signed “Brighter Days” & “Set you Free” from them and released the tracks on my Seductive imprint. They told me that they were making the tracks on a Sony Playstation “Music Now” program and I was like FFS “What.s more Underground than that!?” Later Jesse gave me some of his solo work. The track “Let it Go” was never mastered & only ever cut to Dub-plate and featured on my 1st PCH mix “Pacific Coast House Sounds.” It has now been mastered by Martin Iveson and is available in all it’s glory. The dreamy vocal “You need to let it go” beckons over the top of driving percussive Latin beats and church organ which is a great compliment to the flip side of “Bring down the Walls.” All in all two West Coast stompers now finally available remastered on PCH in Orange vinyl.

Celebrating 30 years of the legendary label, we pick legendary bombs and unreleased gems from Black Vinyl Records rich catalogue. Italian producer Gledd has been quietly carving out a reputation for groove-led house music that balances raw dancefloor energy with rich musicality.

Drawing on influences that span gospel, afrobeat, and classic deep house, his productions channel both heritage and forward-thinking club culture. My House Is Your Church marks his debut release on Delusions Of Grandeur - a fitting home for his expansive, souldrenched sound - and signals a bold new chapter in his evolution as an artist. The EP opens with On His Way, a percussion-heavy deep roller built for maximum dancefloor impact. Portugal's Dextro returns for second EP of stylish deep techno on Mutual Rytm with ‘Planets And Stars’. Dextro’s tunes have long been a staple of Mutual Rytm label head SHDW's sets, with the esteemed veteran previously landing on the label with his ‘Covil Dos Abutres’ EP last year. His return with ‘Planets And Stars’ features a selection of his most requested IDs from recent times, with the Portuguese DJ/producers featuring as a longstanding favourite within the European underground since the 90s through his stripped-back, economical sound that is rooted in masterful design and intuitive grooves. He is a true studio craftsman, whether going deep or more destructive, and that range is on show here as he makes a splash for his sophomore outing. SHDW notes, “‘Planets And Stars’ feels like his most refined and focused work to date. It also further strengthens our relationship, rooted in a shared vision and values around music and how it should be presented.” The EP kicks off with the heavyweight ‘1000 Places’, a track that will rattle walls as eerie synth whispers and sonar blips snake through the mix. ‘Industria Acéfala’ is just as hypnotic with a deep blend of rolling bass and rooted kicks, while unsettling tension comes in the one-note synth loops and scratchy texture. ‘Planets and Stars’ provides an intergalactic trip with cosmic dust, conscious spoken words and an infinite horizon that has you gazing off into the distance. The all-consuming ‘Perpendicular’ is shadowy with impish motifs darting about the mix as watery droplets fall into cavernous kicks. ‘Winter Letter’ is the final 12”cut and is perfectly deep, linear techno with gorgeous ambient details that turn your thoughts inwards. Three digital bonuses expand the trip: ‘Torresmos com Pão’ is unsettling and sparse, ‘Historia da Vida’ ramps up the tension with oversized hi-hats and rising synth turbulence and finally ‘Ghost Particles’ has shimmering bell sounds evoking a spooky moon-lit church in the dead of night.

Delivering four precise, direct techno weapons with expertise and personality in abundance, Efdemin arrives on Dekmantel with Mirror Phase.

Phillip Sollmann has been an enduring source of inspiration and originality within the techno scene since he rose to prominence in the early 00s. As Efdemin he's found a sweet spot between warmly melodic expression and constantly curious textures, holding true to techno's original MO as a bittersweet soul music while delivering his own distinct take on the tradition. After last year's more introspective LP POLY he makes his Dekmantel debut with a sharp, incisive bundle of workouts that champion unfiltered techno of the highest calibre. In Sollmann's own words, it's a loving tribute to the original Detroit architects of the sound.

"All four tracks are based on studio jams using mainly analogue gear, and were done pretty quickly," he explains. "They all nod to the roots of my idea of techno, which is very much informed by the Detroit-Berlin legacy we all benefit greatly from in many ways. In a way, this EP is a deep bow to this."

The sense of tribute behind the music manifests explicitly on opening track 'Mirror Phase', which features a fully cleared sample of DJ Minx's sultry spoken word intro to Kevin Saunderson's 1997 entry into the seminal X-Mix series — a formative release for Sollmann on his journey into electronic music.

With adventurous synth lines and tweaked samples rubbing up against chiseled 909 drums and a generous serving of emotive machine soul, Mirror Phase EP is a perfectly-formed slice of techno done properly — classic, timeless, futuristic and eternal in equal measure.

There‘s no much to say about this track you haven‘t heard before. Originally released in 1999 on Skooby Records and produced by Massimo Gabutti, legendary italo disco producer behind Phaeax (among others) and Maurizio Lobina, probably Blue is one of the most sampled tracks on crossover hits over the last years.

Limited re-issue on blue vinyl including Ice Pop Mix, Hannover Remix, TJm Bluemax 04 Remix and Paris Casino House Mix.

Following up on the hidden wonder of Ellis Swan's twilight folk-noir masterpiece 3 AM (Quindi Records, 2022), Altrimenti commissions three bold remixes by Madteo, Simone and Mass Prod, with a wayward slant to rival Swan's own outsider status.

Next year the iconic anthem Cafe Del Mar will celebrate its 30th anniversary, a landmark that will be celebrated with a series of brand new remixes alongside the finest existing remixes in specially remastered versions.
Launching the series of vinyl releases in September is a remastered vinyl-only release of the original mix, as well as the best-known version of this classic track, the iconic Three ‘N One Remix.
Nearly 30 years ago, Paul M aka DJ Kid Paul recording as Energy 52 unleashed a record onto an unsuspecting public that would go on to define club culture for an entire generation of dance music enthusiasts. Named as an homage to the legendary Ibiza sunset spot, Café Del Mar broke down boundaries between the underground and
the mainstream, charting in the UK singles charts on three separate occasions and named as the “best tune ever” by Mixmag at the start of the new millennium. In terms of cultural and emotional impact in dance music, it’s hard to find a record that comes close.
Café Del Mar has come to represent the most euphoric and hedonistic pleasures of dancefloors - in Ibiza and all around the world - and has been remixed by some of the biggest names in the industry. Now, 30 years after its original release, Superstition Records will be putting out a new series of releases, with brand new remixes as well as remastered versions of some of the many remixes from across the last three decades. The vinyl-only remastered version of the original and Three ‘N One mixes will launch the series, with further details about the rest of the series announced in the coming weeks.

In 2021 Paul Van Dyk’s Café Del Mar remixes launched a series of vinyl and digital re-issues on the Superstition Records imprint after an almost 20 years hiatus. From 1993 until 2003 Superstition Records was a groundbreaking Techno, Tech-House and Trance Label and released some of the biggest and most revered records of the early German electronic scene.

Some 30 years after they first met in the DJ booth of Tokyo’s Spacelab Yellow nightclub, close friends François Kevorkian and Dimitri From Paris have finally joined forces in the studio. The result is The Nassau Excursion, a dazzlingly good three-track EP inspired by their joint love of disco and boogie-era dance records made at Island Records’ Compass Point Studio in the Bahamas.

Across three essential tracks, François and Dimitri explore and celebrate this distinctive Caribbean post-disco sound – one where weighty basslines and heavy drum machine beats rub shoulders with early ‘80s synths, dub-style production, heady hand percussion patterns and arrangements drenched in space echo and tape delay.

Delsin's Inertia sub continues their dancefloor focussed series with a fierce four-track EP by Danza Nativa co-owner Forest On Stasys. Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the abstract side of contemporary techno his first EP on Delsin includes all of this. A flawless pack of well balanced playful yet deep immersive techno.

Parisian label Latency presents "Without References / Cindy van Acker (Variations)", a new release by goat (JP) and Ricardo Villalobos. For this project, Ricardo Villalobos reinterprets two tracks "Orin" and "Factory", originally composed by goat (JP) for choreographer and performance artist Cindy van Acker"s dance piece "Without References".

A sonic journey that feels both intimate and expansive, Inigo Lunani drifts between late-night introspection and dancefloor euphoria. The album blends minimal grooves and warm tones into a cohesive narrative that feels alive—constantly evolving, yet grounded in emotion.

Each track unfolds like a fragment of memory: hazy, rhythmic, and slightly surreal. There’s a tension between control and spontaneity, where tight percussive patterns meet playful, almost careless melodies. The result is music that invites movement but rewards deep listening—equally at home in a dark club or through headphones at sunrise.

Inigo Lunani isn’t just about sound; it’s about identity in motion. It captures the feeling of searching, of becoming, of existing somewhere between who you were and who you’re about to be.

UK pals Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie have been Drop Music mainstays since before the turn of the millennium. They put out a veritable ton of house music and this EP first dropped back in 2004, but has long been ripe for a reissue. 'Already' sits somewhere between tech, new jack swing and deep house and is assembled from chopped-up samples, jazzy stabs and a rigid mix of drums that all get held together with a warm, swinging groove. 'Amber Gambler' on the flip is another collage made from distinctive patches - gun shots, MJ vocals, crashing hits, wiggy synths, minimal percussion and bursts of synth strings. The result is a busy, characterful groove that never stops grabbing your attention.

After some hiatus, Texas' pioneering Uni.Form records label owner, Jake Childs, returns with "Then & Now": a compilation of tracks spanning 20 years of visionary musical production.
