Mateo Dufour and Cosenza return to Key Records as part of the label’s family, this time joining our second vinyl release with Sweat, representing the Rio de la Plata sound on the dancefloor.

The A-side is led by ‘Sweat’, a high-impact, peak-time track driven by a penetrating vocal and a distinct vintage character. Road-tested over the past months, it has become a true secret weapon in sets by artists such as Traumer and Enzo Siragusa. Bosconi Records proudly introduces Neon Cyberwave, the first solo EP on the label by Italian electronic visionary Miguel Herrnandez, marking a milestone in the evolution of an artist who has consistently bridged Detroit-rooted aesthetics with the experimental pulse of the European underground.

Based in the Val d’Elsa region between Florence and Siena, Miguel has forged a unique sonic identity shaped by his devotion to vinyl, his deep connection to the techno capital the “Motor City”, and his passion for deeply rooted yet still futuristic electronic culture.

The EP opens with “Neon Cyberwave”, a powerful acid-driven stomper built around a rolling 303 bassline, warm melodies, and an emotional breakout moment that captures both the effectiveness and the sensitivity of Miguel’s approach. It flows naturally into “Italo FM”, a track infused with Italo disco spirit—choir-like harmonies, a punchy bassline, and a groovy, ecstatic progression that turns into a genuine dancefloor trigger.

'Ghosted Edits Vol 2' the emphasis has been on the less obvious. 'Two Wings' on the initial 'Ghosted Edits' was a superb disco jaunt, whilst 'Follow Him' opted for a swaying jolly down groove with a nice soulful sound. If you dug 'Follow Him' I can guarantee that 'Save The Children' and 'Beautiful People' will be essential purchases for all you disc jockey types, and those of you who jus' like vibes that you can melt into a chair with or sip on yer long drink and spectate from the side of the dancefloor as the DJ builds the room. West Hill Music is a new sub-label from Periodica Records dedicated exclusively to productions curated by Mystic Jungle and conceived at West Hill Studio in Napoli, a longstanding creative hub active for more than a decade.
The project aims to reclaim and reimagine the language of mid-1980s music, drawing from both American and European New Wave through a personal filter that freely and instinctively blends elements of Italo Disco, Rock and Funk. The two tracks, moving within a dance-not-dance dimension, stand as a manifesto of this sonic synthesis and a further step in defining the aesthetic vision of the producer. On "Chasing Light", the collaboration with Igor Sekulovic continues, with the guitarist also appearing here as co-writer of the track, weaving together tense guitars, driving disco-rock bass-lines and slapback reggae-style vocals. "Under Pressure", on the other side, unfolds as a late-night electronic suite: minimal, aseptic and hypnotically repetitive.

The second instalment of Clergys 'Splits' see's Obscure Shape and Maharti stamp their own style on the series over 6 tracks.

The celebration of dance in the Caribbean Escapade version is also an exhortation to escape from everyday life; it takes us into a sonic imagery that plays with the Neapolitan musical tradition and the freshness of Caribbean and Latin sounds. This summer single becomes an ode to the vital energy of dance music: there is no more time for hesitation, one must let oneself be carried away by the enthralling embrace of 'Malìa', like a call to awareness and the search for authenticity in life. As Freerange hits another landmark release with their 300th EP we see label head Jimpster join forces with Philippa who together deliver 3 original tracks which epitomise the labels’ sound over the past (almost) three decades.

With recent releases appearing on Slothboogie and Razor n Tape, remixes for Roach Motel on Faith, and James Curd and Robert Owens on Pronto, not to mention her recent Panorama Bar debut, it’s safe to say Philippa is making waves. The Berlin-based New Zealander has a sound all her own with an organic, deep and musical style winning her many fans from Terry Farley and Aroop Roy to DJ Spen and Dave Lee.

Lead track All I Wanted sees the duo pooling their influences with both producers sonic touches shining through. Chunky drums and bassline are the bedrock for pulsing synths and MON’s vocal which is chopped up and looped bringing a rolling momentum to the track.

Dreaming features the wonderful vocals of Care and goes on a floaty vibe with chiming synths and crusty Rhodes keys layering up to produce a densely textured track. The mood is powerful yet subtle and refined and will work as nicely on a chilled house playlist as it will on a discerning dance floor at 4am.

Closing out the EP we have Say What which goes on a jazzed out, UKG inspired excursion. Shuffling beats, bouncing square wave bassline and big brash synth chords all combine to form a track which sounds both retro and contemporary.

Pure Motorised Instinct drives over to Dark Entries with At Last I’m Leaving the Earth, an LP of industrial-tinged ambient and new age. When legendary industrial outfit Nagamatzu went dormant in 1991, band member Stephen Jarvis moved forward with Pure Motorised Instinct, a name he pulled from a line in George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead. Throughout two cassette albums - 1991’s Between Intimacy and Elsewhere, and 1993’s Everything Is True - Jarvis pushed the Nagamatzu spirit in new directions. At Last I’m Leaving the Earth collects 9 tracks from this era, which are appearing on vinyl for the first time, along with 3 additional tracks on a bonus CD. The material here sits between the brooding and the optimistic, the claustrophobic and the soporific. Jarvis’s digital synths are pushed so far into tape-scuffed terrain that they talk and squawk analog-like, scurrying with vibrant curiosity. The late-night vibes peak on pieces like “Vincent V,” with its reverb-drenched digital drum machines, or “Geek,” which taps into a wide-eyed proto-vaporwave zone.    At Last I’m Leaving the Earth is Black Lodge ambient for the empty set.

We return to 2005 for the next chapter in the Drugsex repress series, revisiting DSEX003 – Hasty Retreat, a record that captured a rising UK producer shaping his sound within the underground. Produced by Rob Mooney with production from Dave Robertson (Reset Robot), the release reflects a period of exploration and technical refinement in his early career.

The A-side, Hasty Retreat, is a driving tech-house cut — tight, physical and weighted for the dancefloor. Robertson’s engineering contribution to Mooney’s fresh ideas and south coast underground house sensibilities added precision and sonic depth that would foreshadow his future work as Reset Robot across house and techno channels.

On the flip, and exactly the same as the original cut Up All Night appears in its remix form from label head honcho Rob Pearson. Pearson’s reinterpretation ensured it fitted like a glove on the Drugsex vibe . Rob deepened the groove, balancing pressure and atmosphere in a way that typified his trademark Croydon Tech sound of the time.

Looking back twenty years, the early Tech House coming out of South London feels as fresh as ever. These records weren’t about tricks or big drops — they were about deep grooves that you could lose yourself in, hypnotic basslines that carried the night, and subtle percussion and atmospheres that rewarded careful listening.

Expanding beyond the West Coast with release number three, Goodtunes invites master of the craft Rob Pearson for a dark & moody EP.
Opener “Odd Job Mischief” bends itself over dubbed out low end pressure as echoic LFOs rip through the groove. A2 “Dodgy Brass” doubles down, forcing hazy horns through truncated rhythmic cracks split from beneath its own weight.

On side B, “The Right Speed” is all gas, no breaks. A moody, stripped back weapon with detailed texture & the dark, tripped out aesthetics of Jayson Walker’s murmurs over the top. “Beautifully Mangled” wraps up the EP with a dark minimal groove & lush atmosphere that slowly builds into a warm driving force.

Third time’s certainly the charm on GT003, with Pearson pushing his productions into new territory with meaningful intention.

A snapshot of UK tech house in its formative years, OLC002 finds Rob Pearson laying down the blueprint for a sound he’d continue to refine through Evasive Records. Released on Online Collective—the label arm of South London’s Online Studios—this EP captures a raw, forward-facing moment in underground dance music.

The title track Slipstream leads with intent: tight tech drums ride alongside a chopped breakbeat groove, underpinned by weighty sub bass and warped melodic textures. A fluid lead synth drives the track forward, locking into a hypnotic, evolving flow built for the dancefloor.

Vortex channels early Detroit techno through a South London lens—crisp edits, filtered drum machine rhythms, and a hypnotic vocal loop combine for a stripped, late-night roller with serious intent.

On Metaphor, Pearson taps into the spirit of early bleep and warehouse house, fusing it with late ‘90s tech house sensibilities—raw, swung, and deeply functional.

The Metaphor (Bonus Beats) rounds things off as a pure DJ tool, primed for layering and extended blends.

A sharp, authentic document of a pivotal era, Slipstream EP showcases Pearson’s early command of groove, texture, and dancefloor dynamics.

The next release in M-Plant's Perpetual Masters series is Robert Hood's "Invincible" EP, freshly remastered for 2026 by Thomas Heckmann.

Originally released in 2001, "Invincible" stands as another defining example of his stripped-back, approach to Techno while still radiating tough funk and groove. Released during a period when Hood was refining the minimalist aesthetic he helped pioneer, the record balances mechanical precision with emotional intensity. The tracks unfold through subtle shifts in percussion, looping synth patterns and driving basslines, to create a meditative momentum that sounds just as fresh today. "Invincible" draws its power from restraint, demonstrating Hood's belief that minimal elements can produce maximum impact on the dance floor.

Each track will be released digitally in May, followed by the full vinyl EP in July.

Do Da Doo' Returns with New Life on Definitive Recordings

Definitive Recordings revisits one of its most iconic releases with a fresh reissue of Robotman feat. Marshall Jefferson - 'Do Da Doo', originally released in 1992. A cornerstone of the label's early catalogue, the track returns with newly re-recorded vocals by house legend Marshall Jefferson, bringing renewed energy to a timeless classic.

Robotman, a moniker of Richie Hawtin (aka Plastikman), represents an essential chapter in the evolution of house and techno. As one of the most influential figures in electronic music, Hawtin helped shape the sound of acid and minimal techno while co-founding the legendary Plus 8 label alongside John Acquaviva. His forward-thinking productions and groundbreaking DJ sets have defined generations of dance music culture.

On this release, the original Plastikman Acid House Mix stands as a true highlight. Spanning 12 minutes, it delivers a deep and hypnotic acid journey driven by classic TR-909 drums and a signature TB-303 bassline. The instantly recognizable vocal 'Got the Do Da Doo' sits prominently within the groove, creating a powerful and timeless club moment that defined an era.

On the flipside, Detroit's DJ Minx brings a fresh perspective with a groove-heavy house interpretation. Known as the 'First Lady of Wax' and a key figure in Detroit's scene, Minx reshapes the vocal into a rhythmic element, layering it into a shuffling and classic house framework. Her version adds warmth and swing while staying rooted in the track's original spirit.

With this reissue, Definitive Recordings celebrates a landmark release that continues to resonate across generations, combining legendary artists, timeless production, and the enduring energy of house music.

Sainte Vie's debut album titled 'Pablo' transforms the abyssal somberness of grief into a vibrant expression of the transcendence of love. Sainte Vie delves into the labyrinths of his past to create unique sounds from the treasured memoriesof his father, Pablo. The somber tones of the album emanate from Sainte Vie's grief. His father passed away in 2023 and he has been working on this album since then. A tribute to his father's life, this album is also a creative and highly personal exploration of their enduring connection. Though an aura of melancholia and darkness colors every track, the ethereal and dynamic quality of Sainte Vie's sound makes our deepest fibers vibrate with the radiance of life and the joy of experiencing love.

It morphs like a planet is being formed before your eyes. Basslines move like mountains while chords strike like distance thunder. The last side has 2 tracks sharing the side. 'Reflectance, Reverberant, Cortisol' and 'Predawn'. The first is a grandious ambient number that sounds heavenly while the last featured song is equally stunning as almost a reprise of a previous. Fresh his Keysound D&B opus Blue, Sully returns to Astrophonica with four pristine slabs of breakbeat science. "Flock" places the full strength melodic elements over the faraway amen echoes in a way that's not dissimilar to early Good Looking. "Helios" is a much colder flashback to the darker corners of jungle's formative dance; all breathy minor key chords and vapour trails of paranoia countered neatly by a precision dub vocal sample. "Crystal Cuts" recalibrates the focus to the drums by way of broad jazz chord strokes while "Hours/Miles & Still" concludes affairs on an emotional electronica tip where the breakbeats thanks to a beautifully arresting intro. Powerful.

Music is life. Berlin-based dj, producer and dance music historian sven von Thulen kicks off his new label All Through a Life with four tracks of emotive, dusty and dub-infused dance floor heat. There is with Tour-Maubourg an eternal desire to translate the feeling of love into music. Sometimes cheerful, sometimes melancholy, always exhilarating, the producer, native of Brussels and expatriate in Paris, has continued for 3 years to attract the praise of his peers and the support of a growing audience. The man who was described by Trax Magazine upon the release of his 1st EP as ‘‘one of the most promising producers of the French house scene’’ has revealed himself in this hyperactive new scene to become one of its best standards.

After several EPs released in France on Pont Neuf, FHUO (ie. Folamour’s label), as well as Happiness Therapy or in England and Germany on FINA and Salin, Tour-Maubourg unveils his first album, Paradis Artificiels. The Parisian producer refers to Charles Baudelaire’s poem, to which he links his melancholy music, who wrote:

‘‘common sense tells us that the things of the earth exist very little, and that the true reality is only in the dreams’’.

If the producer’s first EPs were mainly focused on club music, Paradis Artificiels oscillates between the atmospheres that made the success of these previous releases and those of a studio album. Composed of both house songs and downtempo sound researches, always flirting with the jazz sounds that have made the fame of the producer, this first album invites us on a journey in the lineage of St Germain, Massive Attack or Nicolas Jaar.
