With the fourth Realm Of Consciousness compilation, Tale Of Us shine a light on the artists whose work has shaped their sets in recent times. The sound encompasses everything Afterlife represents: introspective electronica, euphoric peak-time cuts and more subtle rollers.

Following 2018's 'Nothing Around Us' single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. In the case of 'Skywalking' it reaches an uplifting, euphoric crescendo, in Tale Of Us' intro edit of 'Departure' the theme goes darker and off-kilter. Bona fide anthems in the sets of Mathame and Tale Of Us.

Argy returns to Afterlife, linking up with Omnya to bring forth this captivating release.

Together, they’ve crafted ‘Aria’, a mesmerising cut with an undulating low end and hypnotic vocal refrains. The choir-esque sample is skillfully segmented and reiterated, forging an electrifying atmosphere and triggering a heady juxtaposition of euphoria and ominous tones. In combination with the pulsating bassline and uplifting melodies, it’s a sonic portal to a realm beyond the ether.

On the flip Argy and two-man outfit Goom Gum team up. The trio get together for the first time on this cut, pouring their respective energies into a powerful composition. ‘Pantheon’ utilises a rousing vocal symphony, with a rolling bassline, an urgent melody and a goosebump-inducing breakdown to devastating effect.

Rebūke’s original cut gets a three-way rework.
Konstantin Sibold, ZAC and CARMEE combine their creative energy to remix ‘Along
Came Polly’ by Irish producer Rebūke. This new incarnation transposes the original riff onto a more potent instrumental, with the added intensity of an extended breakdown. Bear witness to a sonic metamorphosis.

Mind Against and Sideral join forces for the latest Afterlife intermission.
A new drama unfolds as ‘Colossal’ lands on Afterlife. Punchy beats drive the momentum on this powerful cut while deep pulsating frequencies occupy the low end. This is all complemented by jagged synth stabs and soaring trance-esque pads.

American talent SCRIPT debuts with a ubiquitous hit.
SCRIPT appears on Afterlife for the first time with ‘On The Low’. An undulating low end supports the vocal hook, with layers of synth and melody adding emotion. Midway through, an extended breakdown adds to the emotive impact of SCRIPT’s debut.

MRAK follows up The Pledge with a fresh two-tracker. Known for his rich musicality, Afterlife co-founder MRAK delivers two emotive cuts, continuing on from his six-track odyssey The Pledge. The Turn starts with ‘Reserva’, a collaboration with 19:26. This string-laden composition epitomises the poetic nature of MRAK’s work. On the flip, he teams up with Aimée Sophia for a darker excursion. Aimée’s vocals punctuate the breakdown, adding haunting humanity to the sombre electronica…

Kevin de Vries teams up with label newcomers Y do I on this three-track excursion. Label mainstay Kevin de Vries joins forces with breakthrough act Y do I on the Saga EP. Across all three cuts they combine emotionally-charged moments with pulsating basslines and high energy. Tapping into the juxtaposition of light and dark, the EP exemplifies the Afterlife sound, cultivating human connection through rhythm, emotion and vibration.

Following his collaborative work with Anyma, and appearances at Afterlife events worldwide, Cassian unveils his first full release on the label. ‘Dun Dun’ merges an uplifting melody with an undulating low end that pushes the track forward, supporting the “Dun Dun” vocal clip. ‘Memento’ is a bright, emotive composition with layered vocals producing a choir-esque effect and driving energy at its core.

Denis Horvat returns to Afterlife Recordings for a second EP of distinctive, dancefloor productions. A year after 'Modelo' comes 'Miracle Of The Rose', an evocative and authentic development of Horvat's sound.

MRAK unveils a six-track collection of new material. “This is a snapshot of my reality. It is a composition, a challenge, that I took not knowing the outcome and its price - the amount of logical mazes I had to overcome and I still am. The biggest honour and most humble experience is the possibility to feel any sparkle of emotion, providing fragments of the music and the reality that I’ve developed as an artist over the years. My imprint soul and commitment to melody are adamant, as is the pledge to deliver and be loyal to this abstract entity called music; that gently accompanies our lives.” MRAK As one of the founders of Afterlife, MRAK is now reshaping the afterlife paradigma. Introducing a sharp and elegant but distinctive musical equation. On The Pledge, he presents six compositions, all bound to the Afterlife ethos. ‘The World‘ featuring vocalist braev. Sombre piano keys and urgent strings accompany energetic synth layers. ‘The Process works from a hypnotic low end, supporting a solid melody that increases in intensity as the track develops. For ‘Their Law ’MRAK teams up with David Lindmer, crafting an undulating track with captivating melodies and harmonies. With ‘Portal ’the realm of consciousness beckons us in, with a female vocal reverberating intermittently, complementing the dark bassline and bright synth lines. Penultimate track ‘The Flame features braev and Canadian vocalist Wasiu for a three-way collaboration steeped in emotion. It utilises a heartfelt vocal alongside a spoken-word segment, striking the balance between emotion and high energy. Lastly, MRAK collaborates with Omnya on the remix of ‘Never Ends’. The main melody provides an uplifting vibration, juxtaposed with the darker elements of this journey to the close of the EP…

Adam Sellouk returns to Afterlife with a powerful solo EP.After remixing, and collaborating with, Anyma, Adam Sellouk joins Afterlife with his own solorelease. Blending melodic elements with crisp sound design, Adam’s EP emits a power fromits core. The opening track, a collab with KAS:ST, unites tough layers with a deeper layer ofemotion. On ‘Confusion’ he teams up with Glowal to splice a robotic vocal clip with a highlyemotive melody and melodrama to great effect. Lastly, ‘Poison’ is comprised heartfelt vocals,melancholy and potent stabs, closing out the EP with a solo cut.

Massano is back on Afterlife with another captivating EP. Following his exemplary debut EP, In My System, Massano returns to Afterlife with Shut Down. This two-track release unveils the next chapter in this artist’s evolution.‘Shut Down’ is full of exhilarating tension, utilising an undulating low end, bright synth lines and playful breakdowns to invigorate dance floors. On the flip, ‘Cybernova’ demonstrates Massano’s ability to combine mesmerising melodies and aggressive basslines to create wonderfully uplifting compositions. Colyn develops his unique sound with a second EP for Afterlife.

On ‘Patterns’, he weaves the emotive vocals of his brother Maurits Colijn around a downbeat rhythm and dreamy, synth melody. Known for their distinct, synth-driven take on electronic music, the duo showcase their production prowess with four tracks that demonstrate their ability to tap into your emotional centre with varying styles.

Great Dane Denis Horvat is back on Afterlife with an epic four-track odyssey.

Denis’ penchant for synth-driven melodic techno is evident across all four of these scintillating cuts. Title track ‘Cha Cha’ percolates and throbs, using a distinct vocal clip and exhilarating synth arrangements to create indelible memories. ‘Precious Unica’ brings in vocalist Lelah for a dour journey into our mind’s emotional centre. ‘Momentum Of The Arapaima’ merges unusual percussive elements with a moody bassline and an earworm vocal clip for ultimate dance floor effervescence.
