A new Undefined release! We are ever so proud that our fourth EP is made by RADIQ.

This man needs no introduction. We consider him to be an absolute legend in what he does and what he has already accomplished on a musical level. A producer that fits Undefined like a glove. And we are very happy with the music he made for our label.

Titonton Duvante is on our team now too, and delivers his own stunning interpretation of Radiq's 'Daviselim'.

We are starting a series of collaborations on our label where we invite long lasting producers to do a release on Undefined. Undefined 4 is a nice kickoff for a number of vinyls and we are planning to keep this one running for a few years! Check this out.

Attic Laqs series continues with the owner of Gravite Records Bruno Sacco. His work starts with some grainy-noisey grooves in a danceable rhythm and pressurized synths.
In the b-side Sacco turns into a nine minutes deep techno track 'Imaginaria'. A dark corridor where different shades of pads get a conversation with an acidic chord in a lighted nocturnal way

Tvir is a vinyl only label based in Ukraine. Translated from Ukrainian Tvir means composition'.
Horror Vacui is a term that stands for "fear of emptiness", in the art world. Certain Moscow characters known as Sil (Easy Changes), Anrilov and Cross (aka Sick Disco) fight their own, personal inner fears by the means of dark, mysterious and gluey house in this new collaboration.
B side included 2 great remixes from Tommy Vicari Jnr and Japanese musician Takashi Himeoka. Enjoy!

TOTAL compilation series hardly needs an introduction: we rummage through the Kompakt releases to select our favorites from the past year that reflect our best and unsaid tracks, compiled and packaged as a cohesive whole.

For TOTAL 16, the 2xCD and digital track listing features 25 prominent cuts from artists such as THE FIELD, WEVAL, REX THE DOG, TERRANOVA, HUNTER/GAME, FRANKEY & SANDRINO, JOHN TEJADA, BLOND:ISH or PATRICE BÄUMEL.

On top, TOTAL 16 includes eight exclusive tracks which happen to make up the 2xLP vinyl track listing. What you have is a dynamic assortment and comprehensive profile of Kompakt's current label portfolio, including both newcomers and veteran producers in peak form.

Keeping up a good old TOTAL tradition, we also planted brandnew material from core artists and friends - check out exclusive tracks such as MICHAEL MAYER's aptly named ACTION, an absolutely rinsing acid cracker, or MATIAS AGUAYO's stellar KOMM, sitting comfortably among his best and most stirring work to date. Meanwhile, JÜRGEN PAAPE drops silky, atmospheric synth pads on EDEN and THE MODERNIST teams up with Hot Chip's JOE GODDARD for the pop-infused THE PRICE OF LOVE. Another highlight is the debut release from exciting newcomer LAKE TURNER: BEACON FIELDS is a misty- eyed, melancholic piece focussing on exquisite electronic textures and sweeping melodies.

As with previous TOTAL installments, we collect these exclusives on a separate 2xLP edition, but like to add a handful of cuts that can only be found on the vinyl version - for TOTAL 16, these include ALEX UNDER's LLAMAN A LA PUERTA, a densely layered, slow-paced synth jam that makes for a inspired detour from the propulsive, lean beats the Spanish producer has become known for. SWEET 100 present a masterfully crafted study in hypnotic minimalism on SIX, while VOIGT & VOIGT hark back to the pounding, sensual abrasiveness of early Auftrieb releases on DENKEN SIE LAUT, crossbred with the tongue-in-cheek gloom of the brothers' later, more psychedelic offerings.

Daniel Avery ramps up the atmosphere with an airy, drifting electronic mantra, pulsing with gliding motorik propulsion perfect for late night escapades.
On the flip side, BTU, an amalgamation of Phantasy producers Babe Terror and U, take album closer 'Third Mynd' and recast it as a mind opening sixteen minute collage of found sound, drone and atmosphere, a psychedelic opus befitting Jon Savage's otherworldly speech.
Two very distinct trips into the outer reaches of electronic sound. Toto, we are not in Kansas anymore...

mathias kaden's project "mathimidori" is back to mule musiq since our first release in 2013.
this time he teamed up with japanese female singer shoco (she is actually girlfriend of our friend "dj pige"). it's a great mixture of atmospheric tech house and cool japanese poetry reading.

London's Alex Warren, AKA Kiwi presents "ThrowDown", a cover version of Carmen's cult and in demand 1986 Electro Funk hit. It comes in two versions, a 4/4 club mix and at the suggestion of JD Twitch, an updated take on a Latin Freestyle mix. Both versions feature full vocals from Ciara Haidar and have "summer hit" written all over them.

1973-1976 was a period in Reggae's history when the music coming from Kingston,Jamaica was at its peak.
So many talented singers,who sang soulful/righteous songs found their way onto tape.
Maybe it was the competition between the studios like Randys,Channel 1 and Harry J's and the quality of the singers available to sing these tunes.But whatever caused the explosion the mighty voices of Horace Andy,Cornell Campbell,Johnny Clarke and Ronnie Davis never sounded better....
The tracks as you can see here were culled together from sessions recorded at the fore mentioned legendary studios.Then taken to King Tubby's home style studio at 18 Drummlie Ave in the Waterhouse district of Kingston.This is where the great Dubmaster himself would record the vocal tracks.
A method in which he preferred to work and then mix the tracks Tubby style...We have travelled to Jamaica and listened to hours of master tapes to bring this set to you.
So please sit back and enjoy what we believe to be a wicked set by Kingston's finest..

Following the frankly huuuuuge Norsk Tripping release (one of this year's best sellers here are All Ears) we get another XL Rune portion, this time on his own Drum Island imprint...
Disko Romeiko, as the title may suggest is a stomping, campfire lit and admittedly unlikely culture clash of Greek and Norwegian music. A vocoder laced, up-tempo workout of Norse Disco technique and traditional Greek melodies that is a surefire dancefloor delight. Remixes come from Rune collaborator in chief, Oyvind Blikstad, who pitches the vocoder vox front and centre and strips back the groove while amping up the drama.
Finally Baz Reznik opts for a rumbling, acid laced House take...

In the follow up to their recent 10 Year celebrations - Aus Music present another landmark signing for the label as they triumphantly welcome long term friend Paul Woolford into the fold. Few artists can boast of a catalogue as consistent and as evolutionary as Woolford and his latest offering for Aus - as ever - lands right on the mark in delivering a beguiling trip split over two sides of vinyl. 'Heaven & Earth' is a rich and elongated House record that contrasts bright orchestral melodies with thick, tearing bass tones. Together - these two primary elements create a fervent sense of tension that no doubt will soundtrack countless memorable dance floor moments over the festival period.

After These Hidden Hands re-surfaced earlier this year with the collaborative single These Moments Dismantled featuring Lucrecia Dalt, Tommy Four Seven and Alain Paul a.k.a. Shards are set to release Vicarious Memories, their second full length LP, on August 8th 2016. Vicarious Memories builds substantially upon the sound forged with their debut album and brings a considerable new level of detail, complexity, and musicality, which ranges from flowing mellifluous grooves, somber drones, to the outright bizarre and unexpected. Although loosely an instrumental electronic album, the album makes extensive use of guitar and vocals and features prominent guest vocal contributions from underground Berlin based musicians Julia Kotowski and Ale Hop. The album's preceding single, SZ31X71, a track which features on the LP is out July 11th, featuring a remix by revered Tri Angle artist, Roly Porter. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is pleased to welcome back the Laptop Funkers for another set of high-octane fun & funky breakbeat. Following up on the successful vinyl release Ready to Rumble from 2013 the Laptop Funkers is back in better shape than ever!

Almost instantly after Ready to Rumble was sold out and a repress was demanded , tunes started coming in for what quickly turned out to be a full album release. Now after tweaking and perfecting these jams for over 2 years we are ready to present you with Feel The Goodness - a 12" vinyl filled to the limited with the finest beats and breaks this scene has to offer.

The Laptop Funkers ( the alias used by producer and sound designer Nuno Soczka for this breaks project ) is an elusive underground act that only emerges when there are some fresh choons to showcase. George Benson's debut on Warner Bros. Records, Breezin' topped the Pop, Jazz and R&B album charts in Billboard and spun off two hit singles, the title song (which has become a smooth jazz standard) and "This Masquerade," which was a top ten pop and R&B hit.

'AUS Music ready a double vinyl remix package from Cassy's debut album,'Donna' which came out in June 2016. With 'Donna' we hear a more personal side of Cassy. Co-produced by her soul brother' King Britt, Cassy reconnects with her vocal talentwriting lyrics and singing on all tracks but one, making the album an intimate journey from the soul. Cassy has en-listed some of her most respected peers, all of whom have put their own stamp on the original tracks. This makes the remix package the perfect contrast to the album, and also proves that Cassy's original music has the seal of approval from some of the finest house and techno heavyweights on the circuit today. Timmy P's latest outing on Dessous Recordings continues the long list of illustrious labels that have been home to his house vision. Now based in London, Timmy has a string of emphatic releases under his belt, not least on influential imprints such as Local Talk, Extended Play, Dirt Crew and MadTech. With Safety First, Timmy's playful approach to the deeper side of house shines though. The title track mixes crisp, crunchy drums with warm, soft pads and a bubbling bass line - a deep rolling cut with plenty of punch for the floor. The fantastically named 'Grim Fandango' is a little tougher, with the snares and claps snapping tightly over a taut, un-resistible vibe. Timmy's balance of dynamics is masterful, each element perfectly complimenting each other to create a tour de force over 8 minutes. 'Bosh' is similarly crafted - the original echoing classic 90s house but feeling completely fresh for 2016, while James Dexter's remix is a robust, deep roller. This is house music made with joy and passion.
