When Belgium’s Bonzai Records released Cherrymoon Trax I “The House Of House” in 1994 it was like nothing I had ever heard before. It is a masterpiece that captures the energy and euphoria of rave culture from the mid 90s in such an iconic way. I picked this track out of my record collection a few months ago and felt compelled to create a tribute to this groundbreaking work.

Spirit Of House’ is a jackin' 90’s Chicago inspired groove. It’s an uplifting, dance floor ready track from two of House music's finest. Those unmissable vocals from the legendary Gene Farris add a stamp of old authenticity – he’s a bonafide Chicago legend, who’s contributions to the House music scene are undebatable. He’s been pushing musical boundaries for close to three decades, working with world-leading labels and artists such as Relief, Dirtybird, ViVa Music and Defected.

ATFC is a longstanding label favourite and household name in the scene. He has 3 UK top 40 hits under his belt and has remixed tracks for the likes of P Diddy, Missy Elliot, Simply Red, Faithless and Dido. He’s entered Pete Tong’s Essential Mix hall of fame - and the BBC Radio 1 tastemaker himself described ATFC’s productions as ‘verging on genius’. This collaboration is a match made in heaven.

‘Spirit Of House’ is a deeply playable, feel-good House record from two of the most established producers in the scene.

‘R U’ features a catchy piano hook, tough drums and that deep, powerful vocal from Gene Farris himself. It’s a stripped back, gritty house cut and we're proud to be giving it a home on Toolroom.

Whilst sampling can be a sticky subject in dance music, 'Tech House Kinda Thing' is a fine example of how digging deep and being creative can be hugely rewarding. The vocal sample on this record is from another house titan; Harry Romero. This was taken from an event promo video that Harry recorded himself and posted on his Instagram page. Being the creative soul he is, ATFC heard it, sampled it, brought the idea to a Toolroom writing camp last November, and voila, this record was born! The record itself is an energetic club workout, produced with the detail and finesse you'd expect from such a legendary producer such as ATFC. With driving rhythms, off beat quirky stabs and that unique, spoken vocal, this really is a special record!

‘Not Enough’ is an uplifting, funky, feel-good tune. It oozes that ATFC warmth and the vocals from Mia Mendez add some serious sunshine vibes! Her voice is super powerful and within seconds of hitting play on this record you're whisked away to a sun drenched terrace!

The ‘House of House’ V/a takes in nineteen all-new tracks from some of house music’s most revered names and new-school talent.

Dam Swindle present ‘House of House’, a triple vinyl V/a compilation marking the one-hundredth release milestone on Heist Recordings, landing on 8th May 2026. Across nineteen all-new tracks, ‘House of House’ reads like a roll call of modern house royalty.
The compilation features contributions from scene legends and contemporary torchbearers alike, including Kerri Chandler, Two Soul Fusion (AKA Louie Vega & Josh Milan), Folamour, Cinthie, Kolter, DJ Sneak, and Supershy, the dance music alias of Tom Misch, alongside rising talents like Papa Nugs, Lolu Menayed, and many more.

Timmy Regisford’s discography reads like a virtual timeline in the evolution of House. He’s been a central force since the genre first began in shaping the sound and helping it to become the worldwide cultural phenomenon it is today. Recently inspired by the afro-centric musical movements that have become increasing popular, he has gone back into the lab and created a collection of songs that are destined to move the genre once again.

Highlights of this essential double pack vinyl collection include “Good Morning,” which is an homage to his legendary Shelter parties that always last deep into the morning hours, “Hamballla” which features an inspired vocal performance from future star Toshi and the memorable “Hotel Cali” amongst many others.

Rumored to be one of the most intriguing collaborations of 2018, Rocketgirl presents Pieter Nooten's 4th solo album 'STEM' as Nooten teams up with legendary producer/ mixer/sound-artist Stephen W Tayler (Kate Bush, Underworld) at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios. 'STEM' is probably Nooten's finest work since collaborating with Michael Brook 30 years ago, producing the timeless cult classic 'Sleeps With The Fishes'.Setting the tone in his 2012 double cd 'HAVEN', Nooten further explores the boundaries between the neoclassical and ambient genre, delivering an album of  heartwrenching, profound melodic compositions that invites you to listen to 'STEM' over and over again.

Nooten's musical career began in the late 1970s. Starting out as the drummer in a local symphonic rock band,2 he quickly changed to bass guitar and later keyboards, playing in different bands. At the height of house squatting culture and new wave, Nooten met Anka Wolbert and Ronny Moorings who had just formed Clan of Xymox together. During the mid-eighties Clan of Xymox recorded two highly acclaimed albums on 4AD.

Future music from Bew Kanada's frontman Adam Marshall. Sometimes it's hard to categorize certain tracks and these ones are from outa space. it reminds me a lot of the time when we all discovered the first playhouse records from Isolee, Losoul and Soylent Green. Magic moments which at first listen maybe not seem to work on the dancefloor because they are too challenging, but if you find the right moment they gonna work wonder... tip!!!

This release date on wax and digital is right in time for the official Movement Festival afterparty @ TV Lounge in Detroit that spans 2 days with 3 areas of sound. This year’s compilation features music from Soul Clap alongside long time friend and Baltimore favorite Baronhawk Poitier who present “Set The Scene”, a futuristic earthshaking groove with Baronhawk’s spoken vocals backed by Charles Levine’s vocoder and a Moog topline played by Baronhawk that won’t quit. Hercules & Love Affair makes a debut on the label with “Stay Ready” a chugging tracky / acid infused banger which should absolutely induce a dancefloor sweat. Kai Alce shares a discofied sample-licious crowd pleaser called “Boogie” with the help of additional keys by Byron Blaylock better known as Byron The Aquarius. Italian producer Gledd has been quietly carving out a reputation for groove-led house music that balances raw dancefloor energy with rich musicality. Drawing on influences that span gospel, afrobeat, and classic deep house, his productions channel both heritage and forward-thinking club culture. My House Is Your Church marks his debut release on Delusions Of Grandeur - a fitting home for his expansive, souldrenched sound - and signals a bold new chapter in his evolution as an artist.

The EP opens with On His Way, a percussion-heavy deep roller built for maximum dancefloor impact. Anchored by fat, heavyweight production and a massive low-end presence, the track surges forward with relentless energy. An incredible gospel vocal cuts through the mix, elevating the groove into something transcendent - equal parts spiritual and physical. On It’s Not That Easy, Gledd leans further into his gospel house influences. It’s a track that feels both uplifting and commanding. Flipping to the B-side, Habibi Gospel pushes into more “outernational” territory. Closing the EP, Can You Hear My Noise? brings things to a richly textured finale. The label say "Fresh from impressing with the pulsating techno of Boris Werner and the fuzzy live house jams of San Proper, Tom Trago's Voyage Direct label turns to a man who needs little introduction: Dutch legend and man of many pseudonyms Danny Wolfers.
Best known under his Legowelt alias, Wolfers has spent the last two decades flitting between strobe light acid house, 808 electro, fluorescent techno and shimmering space disco. Throughout, he's kept his productions pleasingly analogue-heavy, making great use of classic drum machines and vintage synthesizers. While his music may be steeped in the past, Wolfers' productions always sound like the future.

For this first outing on Voyage Direct, Wolfers resurrects the House of Jezebel alias - a pseudonym previously only used for the twinkling deep house warmth of 2010's 'Love & Happiness' - and delivers two tracks of synth-laden analogue house goodness.

'Back In Dogtown USA' sets the tone, as Wolfers layers rising chords, darting electronics and wide-eyed synthesizer melodies over a clattering analogue house groove. As with much of the legendary Dutch producer's work, the track ripples with rush-inducing melodic intent. It's the soundtrack to a party on Jupiter, and we're all invited.

Wolfers' ups the tempo dramatically on 'I Took A Train In 1979', transplanting us to the far reaches of our galaxy via jackin' techno drums, picturesque organ melodies, drifting chords and intoxicating pads. There are echoes of classic Detroit techno, surging Rotterdam electro and vintage cosmic disco, yet it doesn't really sound like any of these things. Like 'Back In Dogtown USA', 'I Took A Train In 1979' sounds like the past, reconfigured and rearranged for the consumption of future generations. In other words, it's a classic Wolfers production."

The music producer from Girls of the Internet steps away from the band and messes around with synths & samplers - resulting in a smorgasbord of styles and influences from UR, Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works, Andrew Wetherall's Bloodsugar, string-laden Detroit Techno, Drexciya, Microhouse, Underworld, and some oddball house stylings.

French beatmaker Farres returns with Get Out Of This House, a four-track EP navigating the space between driving house and tech house, with subtle electro tendencies woven through it. Rather than chasing trends, the EP leans into subtle tension and rolling energy, building patiently and with intent, reflecting a sound that feels refined, deliberate, and increasingly distinctive. Built through patience, consistency, and a clear sense of direction, this EP marks a significant step for Farres — and we’re glad to welcome him to Partisan.

Side A kicks off with a fresh 2025 mixdown of “Work.Groove” by Mark Farina and Homero Espinosa, followed by a brand-new remix from Hotmood who brings the funk with an uptempo, driving version perfect for peak-hour sets. We’ve also included the acapella of “Work.Groove” for DJs and heads who like to get creative.

Side B goes even deeper, starting with an unreleased remix of “Burning Hot” by JT Donaldson and Seven Davis Jr. This version captures the essence of Moulton’s deep house sound with analog synths, tough beats, and signature funk. Rounding out the release is David Harness and Tedd Patterson’s Main Afro Mix of “Black Music” by Franky Boissy and Roland Clark, a powerful and soulful cut that closes the record in style.
